Locale simpatico con scelte vegan e gluten free. Premesso che non si può pretendere di mangiare una buona pizza in un paesino piccolissimo e abbastanza isolato del Portogallo, la pizza era assurda... La pasta era acida e la mozzarella era uno strano formaggio che aveva creato una sorta di crosta unica.

Yummy vegan food! Holle & his team are doing a great job. One of my favourites are the Nimbus Pizza with extra vegan cheese & rocket and of course the vegan ice cream ❤

Good products. However, my pizza was really spicy (which wasn't very clear on the menu) and my boyfriend's calzone had ham even though we asked it without ham.
The soup was really good and the lemonade was incredible... But I left the place feeling really low because I didn't enjoy the food at all.

Bardzo dobre pizze, ciasto robione z mąki gryczanej. Świetne napoje i soki, domowe lody i ciasta. Wszystko świeże i bardzo smaczne. Przyjemne wnętrza, miła obsługa, sympatyczny właściciel. Fajnie miejsce nie tylko dla wegan, są też pizze z salami na przykład.

Muy buen lugar para comer sano. Además la comida es muy buena, la cantidad está bien. Los camareros son muy amables. Idwal para desayunar comer o cenar en un dia playero en Bordeira.
Si venís por Carrapateira os lo aconsejo. Hacen una ensalada en la que echan además de rúcula tomate y mozzarella todo tipo de frutas y frutos secos.
La pizza y los panes que emplean están hechos de espelta y no llevan gluten.

Depois de quase 1hora à espera já sentados na mesa, o atrasado mental do dono (um alemão muito ordinário) resolve juntar um par de mesas, arrastando-as p cima de um carrinho de bébe onde dormia uma criança, não só não pediu desculpas como continuou com a "arrumação" Ao lhe chamar-mos a atenção simplesmente responde em mau português que é o dono e que faz o q bem entende. A funcionária, também mal encarada (mas com um patrão daqueles até é compreensivel) diz que "lamenta o q se está a passar". O alemão, não satisfeito, continua e diz q se não estamos satisfeitos para nos irmos embora. Foi o que fizemos, e fomos a um outro italiano, na rua abaixo e que se revelou uma excelente alternativa.
Por último, custa-me perceber como um restaurante c pratos vegan, vegetarianos, c um ambiente tão "peace and love" tem um dono q parece odiar as crianças e onde elas certamente não são nada bem vindas. Lamentável.

Pessimo atendimento muito lento. O dono é muito mal educado. Ao arranjar mesas foi contra o carrinho de bebé a dormir e nem desculpa pediu. Ainda chamei a atenção mas a sua educação ultrapassa os limites do mau. Não aconselho de todo a visita a este restaurante.

Das Tages Menü absolut top. Einfaches Lokal mit super Essen. Man findet in Portugal die besten lokale meist an den Hauptstraßen und erkennt diese daran dass die einheimischen Arbeiter ihre Mittagspause dort verbringen.

Il cibo non è male, c'è molta scelta vegan e gluten free con farina di grano saraceno macinata da loro. Ma i prezzi sono assolutamente esagerati per l'offerta. Noi siamo state sfortunate poiché abbiamo avuto un servizio davvero scadente, abbiamo aspettato quasi mezz'ora solo per avere i menù, poco meno per poter ordinare e lo stesso per avere i piatti (le bibite sono arrivate dopo i piatti!), infine ci siamo alzate (2 volte) per poter ordinare i caffè e il conto (stanche di aspettare). E tutto questo nonostante ci fosse solamente un altro tavolo da servire. Mi spiace, ma credo che non tornerò.

This is not a vegan restaurant but their vegan options are great and far better than many other vegan restaurants I know. I usually order their salad which is amazing and of good size (not small like most salads in the few restaurants that offer vegan salads as a main dish). Quite often they use their own herbs and vegetables (thank you for that!). My husband orders a vegan pizza (gluten free), probably the best vegan pizza in Portugal. They are very generous with the ingredients and portions in whatever you order. Also the natural juices are great. One time we ordered the soup and it was very good and typical homemade. Honestly one my favourite places to eat in whole Portugal (and I travel a lot and experience a lot of restaurants). Am just so glad they are located on my way to the south.

Wir haben heute die Buchweizenpizza im Trigo Vermelho gegessen und waren von der Qualität und Zubereitung der Pizza begeistert. Auf der Pizza war selbstgemachter Mandelkäse, den ich noch nie zuvor gegessen habe. Dazu gab es selbstgemachte Piri Piri Soße, die den Geschmack feurig abgerundet hat. Der Chef des Hauses hat sich sehr nett und wohlwollend um uns gekümmert, ebenso der nette Kellner. Man kann toll im Freien sitzen bei Loungemusik. Der Chef versteht sich im Umgang mit Kindern und bezieht sie sehr nett mit ein. Der Mann versteht sein Handwerk und hat die vegane Küche perfektioniert.

Terrific food - had the soup, pizza and a freshly made carrot and ginger beverage. Would recommend asking for chili sauce as it was one of the spiciest I’ve ever had. Great spot for couples.
We also came here when we were fighting a cold and the tea with lemon and (fresh) ginger hit the spot.

Unser favorisiertes Restaurant in 2 Wochen Portugal! Deutscher Besitzer lebt den Traum in Portugal, serviert wahnsinnig gute, vegane, vegetarische Pizzen(gibt auch Pizza mit normalem Käse oder Wurst).
Führt sein Restaurant mit Charme und Witz und nimmt sich auch Zeit für deutsche Gäste und bringt Anekdoten aus seinen 30 Jahren in Portugal.
Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt, wenn der Besitzer auch noch schwäbisch mit einem redet :)

Muito bonito. Apenas bebi café porque não tinha fome pra comer. Mas é de facto um lugar pouco comum e alternativo face ao que é costume encontrar à venda beira da estrada. Top e voltarei um dia.

Very good food for any type of fork (omnivorous like me, vegetarian or vegan!), super friendly staff w/ one of chefs personally explaining recipes by stopping by tables. Good pizza even for high italian standards (w/ a super home-made dough w/ several cereals if I’m not wrong)!

Je sors à l instant de ce resto vegan/bio, pas de boissons servies dans des bouteilles en plastique ou de canettes, il faut penser à cet environnement magnifique, et respecter la nature ! Le service est impeccable et la nourriture succulente.... 5 étoiles ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beste vegane+glutenfreie Pizza&Calzone bisher in meinem Leben! Der Besitzer achtet auf nachhaltige&lokale Beschaffung der Zutaten, macht den veganen Mandelkäse selbst und mahlt sein Buchweizenmehl frisch selbst! Auch der selbstgemachte Eistee war komplett frisch gemacht mit frisch gepressten Säften. Unbezahlbar. Wir kommen wieder. Danke!

I was excited about finding a vegan restaurant although was disappointed. The soup nice but was cold. The wine was corked. The pizzas were dry and not that flavoursome. We have had much better vegan pizzas elsewhere I think he area. The dessert wasn’t great. We ordered a cappuccino which never arrived but was on our bill. They did take it off the bill when we told them. Also this restaurant isn’t fully vegan as the name suggests.

Der Geheimtipp einer Freundin: das Restaurant wird von einem Deutschen betrieben. Alle Zutaten sind aus der Region und bio-Produkte. Der Pizzateig ist aus Buchweizen, einfach mal was anderes.
Der Wein ist Bio, das Bio-Löwenbräu aus Deutschland importiert, die neue Limonade sehr lecker!
Den Wein haben wir dann auch am Flughafen von Faro im Duty Free gefunden.

The food is wholesome and delicious. We stop here every time we visit the area. The owner is passionate about the food he serves, which is apparent in the quality, flavor and presentation. Another thing the owner is passionate about is hiking the area. He was generous with his time describing a MUCH more interesting hiking route to Villa do Bispo. Thank you so much, we made it past the precarious spot, tidewas low enough to scramble down the rocks to beach. ( no free pizza for us)

Excellent friendly service, good vibe! We really like vegan food , but for the €9.90 per large pizza , they should be more generous with the toppings ( pizza) / stuffing ( calzones) !!
The overall taste is average at best. Just because food is vegan , taste does not have to be compromised. Also , it should be a bit more afforfable for the average ( even Portuguese) person, that way more people can eat healthy food, not just the wealthy , chic tourists!!

Restaurante de beira de estrada, que merece a paragem. Apercebe-mo-nos que deveria ser bom, pela quantidade de carros ali estacionados. Decoração simples. Espaço despretensioso e limpo. Uma dose dá para 2 pessoas. O cozido, muito bom, com couves e carne de qualidade. Vinho tinto de Pias a jarro. Excelente relação preço-qualidade. Pessoal atencioso e honesto.

Is it a normal restaurant (with very taste Nimbus Pizza) with various veggie options.
A lot of people are attracted thinking that is indeed a veggie place when far from it.
If you are vegan but dont mind go to carnist places then choose the amazing Nimbus Pizza (as spicy as you want) and you not be disappointed. Nice alternative are the pancakes.

Bisher das beste Restaurant der letzten Wochen und unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Hätten wir diesen Laden zu Beginn unseres Aufenthalts gefunden, wir wären öfter gekommen.
Wer an der Algarve Urlaub macht und hohe Konditorkunst und großartige Pizza essen möchte, sollte einen (oder mehrere) Besuch(e) einplanen.
Das Beste: Alle Gerichte sind gluten- und zuckerfrei.
Der Eigentümer hat das Geschäft aus Überzeugung und Leidenschaft und das merkt man.
Wenn ich eine Empfehlung für ein Restaurant an der Algarve geben soll, Es wäre das Trigo Vermelho!
Dinkel wird übrigens nicht mehr verwendet - nur noch Buchweizenmehl.

The food was good, cooked from fresh and the staff were really friendly and attentive. It is a traditional Portuguese restaurant and very reasonably priced. We will definitely go there again.

La comida es muy buena y abundante, típica portuguesa, se come bien, pero nada especial comparado con otros restaurantes portugueses. Es recomendable para la zona, pero no hay que esperar nada espectacular. Y el precio es bueno también para Algarve, pero alto comparado con otras zonas del país.

Doses individuais generosas e de qualidade.
A opção pelo bitoque foi muito acertada. Carne de excelente qualidade e muito tenra.
Dada a sua localização vem cá quem conhece, mas merece o desvio de Lagos ou Sagres e deliciar-se com as iguarias e o espaço.

What a pleasant surprise! Heading up the coast and hungry (looking for breakfast) we pulled Into this tiny spot and we're thrilled to be served a huge glass of fresh orange juice (33cl), good coffee and big toastie sandwiches full of melty cheese and smoked ham. We were two and both had juice toast and coffee for 10€. The food looked great too. The bathrooms were brand new and top notch clean!

Really friendly and comfortable relaxed place. the food is delicious and gives you loads of energy because it is made with mostly local organic produce.
Many vegan dishes but you can also find nice vegetarian options.

Auf der Durchreise sind wir hier eher zufällig vorbei gekommen und können dieses Restaurant absolut empfehlen .. Wir hatten verschiedene Pizzen - alle super lecker und richtig gut. Zum Nachtisch gab's dann nochmals 2 Stücke vom leckeren selbst gemachten Kuchen. Die Preise sind normal - die Getränke günstig. Der Service hat gestimmt und wir würden immer wieder kommen. Absolut empfehlenswert ..
We had several pizzas in this restaurant - all delicious and really good. For dessert's then we had another 2 pieces of delicious homemade cakes. The prices are normal - the drinks cheap. The service was goog and we would always come back. Highly Recommended ..

We were very glad to find a restaurant with a proper knowledge of vegan food. Our kids enjoyed the pizzas.
