Very comfortable and cosy place with all necessary amenities. Beautifully fitted out and very clean. Walking distance to the beach and shops. The most helpful and warm host.

Een heerlijke tijd gehad in het appartement Camelia. Alles heerlijk in orde. Zalige douche heerlijk bed en alles wat je wenst is er. Bovendien een fantastische gastvrouw. Heerlijke koffie bij de oceaan op slechts 4 min lopen Dagje Lissabon ook de moeite waard Auke en Antoinette

Voor een heerlijke week vakantie in de groene omgeving van Sintra is Casa Kooka in het dorp aan zee Praia das Maças een goed adres . In een stil straatje vind je een met liefde aangelegde tuin met daarin de twee apartementen, van alle gemakken voorzien en bovendien smaakvol ingericht.De bedden zijn goed met mooi linnengoed , een heerlijke douche en natuurlijk de tuin waarin je je vrij voelt om te luieren en uit te rusten na een leuke trip in de omgeving . Dat zijn de uitstapjes naar Sintra en Lissabon natuurlijk , maar ook de wat noordelijker gelegen kustplaatsen Ericeira en Peniche zijn een bezoekje waard. De enthousiaste gastvrouw en gastheer vertellen je graag waar je de mooie zwembaaitjes en surfplekken kunt vinden en zij kennen goede (vis-) restaurantjes in de buurt. In het dorp zelf kan je terecht voor alle boodschappen , er is een geldautomaat , postkantoortje enz - en bij de markthal ( o.a.verse vis en groente ) stopt het fotogenieke trammetje naar Sintra . We komen gauw terug!

Casa Cooka is located in a lovely beach town just a short drive from Lissabon and Sintra. And even more important only a few minutes walking to the beach and restaurants! The house is wonderful and completely renovated in original local style of breezy blue and white. Besides all the wonderful surroundings our host Kooka ensured we had everything we needed so we will be back for sure! Thank you!

A warm welcome by the landlords, we were pleasantly surprised by beautiful apartment with flower garden, with eye for detail. We got a nice tour around the property. Tastefully decorated, clever combination of cozy, modern rural and practical. The neutral color combinations and nice furniture makes the apartment feel like home. Nature, beach, shops, everything is within walking distance. Nice bed, clean and freshly made, peaceful environment, we slept wonderfully. Good, powerful shower in nice marble bathroom with soft, large towels. A spacious terrace with large umbrella and comfortable chairs. Fast WiFi. Nice, English speaking people at Casa Kooka and in the village as well. Hosts are very approachable for advice about day trips and questions regarding the area. In short, a beautiful place with all ingredients for a relaxing holiday, we would love to come back soon!Thank you!!
