Would absolutely recommend this cooking experience to anyone visiting Lisbon! Our instructor Anna was incredibly friendly, professional and welcoming. Before we began cooking, she took us to a local market where we were able to select the produce we wanted to use in our dishes. All the vendors in the market were so sweet - some even offered us free fruit. The cooking lesson itself was so relaxing and enjoyable. We learned a lot about Portuguese cuisine and were treated to unlimited wine and snacks while cooking. The meal tuned out excellent and we really enjoyed Anna's company throughout the day. This experience is worth every penny - you won''t regret it! Thanks Cooking Lisbon :)

Unfortunately our trip to Portugal was cancelled due to the pandemic as well as the cooking class even if we could get there -Cooking Lisbon has not responded to any requests for a refund -impossible to reach. We tried reaching out multiple times as soon as we knew that we would not be allowed to travel there.

This class was highlite of our vacation in Lisbon. Such a great atmosphere, very friendly shef Tomás, amazing vine and self prepared delicious food. Definitely recommend! Lana and Karen PS. Still waiting email with receitas.

Ana was a wonderful instructor. Even with a class of 8 she was able to keep each of us engaged and taught us while orchestrating an entire dinner in a timely manor. She provided insights to culture and cooking techniques that were lovely. Highly reccomened her!

Enjoyed the experience very much and learned a lot. Our hostess, Anna, was professional, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this class - great eay to lean about Portuguese history and culture.

Really excellent experience. Our instructor/chef/comedian Thomas did a very good job of teaching and explaining traditional Portuguese dishes. Nothing but compliments from me.

The dinner class we took at Cooking Lisbon wasn’t the most engaging course I’ve taken, but it was still enjoyable. Our instructor seemed to constantly be stretching for tasks for everyone to help with, so we all spent considerable time making conversation and drinking wine (no complaints - but just want to set the right expectations!). Perhaps this could be remedied with more complex dishes or additions to the existing menu. Overall, it’s a relaxing way to spend a few hours and a nice way to get some hands-on experience with a different element on Portuguese culture, but don’t expect to walk away with any deep knowledge of Portuguese cuisine or food preparation.

My daughter and I did the 2 hour pastry course with Ana. We learned so much. It was only the 2 of us learning to bake 2 types of Portuguese pastry. Great for teenagers.

Widererwarten waren wir zu unserem Tag die einzigen Teilnehmer am Kochkurs, was jedoch weder den Umgang mit uns noch den Spaß an der Zubereitung traditioneller portugiesischer Rezepte schmälerte. Im Gegenteil; Filipe (Manager) und Gonzales (Koch) haben mit ihrem guten Englisch, ihrem herzlichen Humor und ihrer großen Gastfreundlichkeit schnell für ein vertrautes und freundschaftliches Ambiente gesorgt. Die Gläser immer schön mit gutem portugisischem Wein gefüllt (inkludiert), ging es Schritt für Schritt an die Zubereitung der Nachspeise, dann der Vorspeise und schließlich an den Hauptgang. Für 65 € p.P. für ein 3-Gänge Menü inkl. Wein so viel man will, lustigen und guten Gesprächen mit Einheimischen und dem Rezept per Mail zum nachahmen daheim war dieser Kurs ein absolutes Highlight unseres Lissabon Aufenthalts! Adorei a experiência na Cooking Lisbon. Salvaguardar a gastronomia tradicional portuguesa é importante, face a tantos conceitos novos. Estive presente num jantar de amigos, 14 no total e o atendimento foi excelente, a simpatia da equipa. Adorei, experiência a repetir.

Accueil parfait et prestation de grande qualité de la part du Chef!

Visitei a Cooking Lisbon num jantar de um grupo de amigos e correu muito bem. Uma ementa espectacular servida com entradas, prato de peixe, prato de carne e uma sobremesa que era deliciosa ( Pudim de Gemas de Ovos dos Abades de Alcobaça, de comer e chorar por mais!!!). O que mais adorei foi a possibilidade do grupo ter a sala disponível somente para o grupo e a diversidade de vinhos existentes no espaço, praticamente todas as regiões vinicas. Adorei a aula de cozinha, o jantar, a diversão com o grupo. Parabéns pelo conceito e votos de sucesso.

Um excelente local para realizar jantares privados com total privacidade, onde podemos contactar o chef, que acaba por estar mesmo à nossa frente a cozinhar. Para além do momento muito bem passado ainda aproveitei para tirar dúvidas sobre cozinha. Parabéns a toda a equipa.
