O espaço é moderno, excelente localização, e a carta variada parecia prometer, no entanto a experiência gastronómica não surpreendeu. Pratos bastante semelhantes na sua confecção apesar dos diferentes ingredientes.

Grande surpresa este restaurante. Tudo o que saía daquela cozinha tinha um aspeto espetacular. E tudo o que pedimos estava extraordinário. Recomendo vivamente o bao de atum. O atendimento foi muito atencioso.

Greay decor amd delicious food. An ACTUAL asian restaurant in Lisbon. We had the thai spring rolls, the delicious chicken teryaki and Pad Thai Camaro, the flavorful Tom Yum Goon, and the not so bad Korean chicken Wings. I HIGHLY recommend the place.

The staff was OK and the decor is nice, but I ordered a dish that wasn’t supposed to be spicy and couldn’t eat it! Soooo hot! Nevertheless, the rice was good. Price was OK but not the best you can get in the area.

We had a great experience at Soi. The staff was very kind and the food was SO good. We had the Tom Ka Kai (best ever!) and the vegetarian curry. For sure a place to go back to if we ever in Lisbon again!

We bump into this place accidentally, as all others were closed. It was nice. The papaya salad was good, but Tom Yum could be better. I have a strange feeling about the atmosphere, it’s not cozy to my opinion.

Infelizmente não dá para deixar menos de 1 estrela.
Para além de nunca houver vários pratos,serviço horrível. Chegamos às 18h35,estavam ao telefone. Era igual estarmos lá ou não. E quando finalmente vêm ter connosco dizem que afinal não há mesa. Que a última ligaram a reservar. Telefonema essa recebido quando nos já estávamos no restaurante.

This was one of the most horrendous restaurant experiences I have ever had. My side dish came before my actual food, it was cold on the inside - strike one. Then the pork I ordered was cooked for all of two minutes (not the best idea to let customers see your kitchen if you are not going to cook your food properly). Needless to say the pork was raw on the inside - strike 2. When I called the waitress over she seemed irritated that I had dared to want to speak to her - we were the only people eating in the restaurant at the time. When I told her about my meat being raw she said it was OK - which it was not! No apology at all. I informed her that she should send it back and I won't be eating any of the (sub-standard food). We asked for the bill and she had the audacity to attempt to charge me for the food I was unable to eat, since food poisoning is not something I want to experience. When I asked to speak to a manger etc I was told not only was there no manager at the restaurant but that I was in her country! - Strike 3!....I'm disgusted and shocked by the treatment I received, customer service is clearly a foreign concept at this restaurant as is serving edible food.

Good, fast, fairly priced
We liked the attentive service and the quality of the food, while it was not outstanding the overall taste was very good with every plate completely different and considerably large portions. The ambience is simple, a bit too much light for my taste, recommended as a fast and satisfying treat when really hungry.

I loved the food, the waiters are very kind and available and couldn't be indiferent to the whole restaurant concept, decor and thinking, even in the bathroom you'll find individual hand towels instead of paper. I'll recommend for sure.

Nice spot, with a pleasent decoration, ideal to have a different lunch and enjoy asian tastes well prepared, presented and cooked.
For me it is not the kind of spot for a more quiet and relaxed dinner taking in consideration the proportion of capacity of people inside, noise level and dimension of the space.
The staff is efficient altough not very friendly mainly because their try to do things in a rush to go to the next table. Even if it is lunch peak time if you want to get to a level 5 you need to relax, be efficient and above all don't pass the stress to the client.
The price is aligned with others places in the area, witch means not cheap. But taking in consideration the quality and the level of satisfaction that the client will get it becomes aceptable.
If you are in the area please go and try! Ot is a safe bet.

We found it by chance and it was just perfect. Incredible staff that guided us trough the options, open space with well blended music and nice decoration and very good food.
I've never tried Ramen soup before and it was exactly what I imagined, I'm glad I had it first at SOI.

Wine selection was good. Menu could be a bit larger. Food was acceptable but the crab dish came with 1 piece of crab. Pad thai was a bit sloppy but still acceptable. Spent 60 on bottle of wine 2 mains and 2 share plates so value was good.

Foi uma desilusão! Um ramen de carne que mais parecia que tinha pedido um ramen de vegetais, vinha com 2 pequenos pedaços de carne. Nem tive vontade de pedir sobremesa tal foi a desilusão... enfim.. Acho que têm que redefinir a vossa cozinha porque só depende de vocês serem melhores e devem encarar sempre as criticas de forma construtiva .

Bastante satisfeito, a comida foi excelentemente confeccionada, com boas apresentações de pratos, e o atendimento foi impecável. Os empregados foram muito atentos e simpáticos. O espaço é pequeno, mas acolhedor e com estilo. Os preços não são nada caros, paga-se pela qualidade que os pratos têm. A repetir sem dúvida!

Worst food experience in Lisbon. Restaurant looks nice and modern. Ordered spring rolls and when they finally came, they were still cold from the inside. Also ordered ramen soup and caramelized duck. First they gave me a wooden spoon for the ramen, which was obvisiously not clean. The duck was served almost raw. Then I had enough and left the restaurant. Never had an experience like that in a high priced restaurant and I am not even very critical if it comes to food.

Visited on Sunday (24th June), a group of 4, happily waited 20 mins for our table at approximately 9pm as we had seen great reviews.
We were celebrating a birthday and nothing at dinner went well. Went to the bathroom, no toilet paper and no hand towels. Ordered drinks, a bottle of wine however only 2 glasses came, soft drink completely forgotten about. Ordered our food to share, no one advised of the portions or what was considered a main meal. Spring rolls and samosas arrived cold on the inside. While waiting for replacement dishes our plates were cleared and we were asked if we wanted desserts leading to confusion as to what had happened to our remaining dishes. New plates were provided by what seemed to be the manager (the same person who took our order), no words exchanged, no apology given and the plates were dumped on to the table. Had to send a plate back as it was chipped. After waiting over 30 mins for our last dish to arrive I attempted to call the manager who made eye contact, turned away and shortly after sent a waitress to our table. When I did manage to query the manager regarding our last dish I was told that as it was the only main dish he was waiting for us to finish the starters - something we had done 20 mins prior!
All of us have experienced asian food before and none of us enjoyed any of the dishes, the experience compounded by poor management of the situation. Having worked in the catering industry before I have never experienced such blatant lack of customer service from a manager. A truly disappointing night in which the only saving grace was the waiter who tried his best to muddle through the mess made by others! At the end of the night there was still no toilet paper or hand towels for customers and we saw the manager using the same facilities.
Left the restaurant hungry after the poor experience left us with no desire to continue our meal or return!
Overall, great concept but extremely poor delivery! Very disappointed!

SOI - Full of Eastern Surprise
SOI brings a little Eastern surprise back to Lisbon. This Asian street food is as colourful as the surrounds and the dishes are packed full of eastern flavours.
SOI has created a great urban feel, full of atmosphere in the evening that spills out onto the street. Added to the atmosphere is the open kitchen where they prepare great Asian dishes. Great food, really fresh ingredients in a cool.plqce with brilliant customer service. the daily special was chicken udon noodles with a glass of wine and a coffee after for 11.50 euros.

I find this place completely underrated - it deserves 5 stars. Service was super attentive - our toddler was warmly welcomed and received a baby chair, pencils to draw and a free bao bread. We had the papaya salad, fried seafood rice and the green curry all of which tasted fresh, delicious and authentic. We’ll love to come back!

Very nice restaurant for a quick eating close to Mercado. It's not the cheapest place around, but you can have some good noodles for 10/15 euros. My suggestion would be go for the daily dish.

Tolles Geschmackserlebnis, haben 4 verschiedene Gerichte gehabt und jedes davon war etwas besonderes. Getränke preislich okay. Insgesamt kostet zwar 1 Euro mehr, aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.

O espaço está muito e simples. Mas a comida... Preço/qualidade não vale e pena lá e e voltar. Os Korean wings, que deveriam ter a pele estaladiça, estava com amendoins a mais por de cima e a pele nada de nada estaladiça. Os edemame supostamente picantes, tinham simplesmente sal em demasia e piri-piri em pó. O não de camarão tinha uma massa grossisima e só um camarão extremamente gorduroso de ter ser feito e envolvido em massa.
A sopa TomYum ainda era o que melhor estava, mas por 12 euros, só dois camarões e com mexilhões de certeza congelados. E um tanto salgada

Queria fazer mais uma viagem pela Asia, e decidi vir ao SOI. O espaco meio industrial não é o mais apelativo e até um pouco confuso. O menu é bastante diverso e os pratos sao muito bons, nomeadamente o Pad Thai e o tom gha kai. O serviço é um pouco confuso e denota-se alguma falta de experiencia. Aceitam reservas e apesar de dizerem No ATM na porta, aceitam multibanco.

Good variety of southeast Asian dishes and some fusion experiments, all of great quality. Excellent presentation. Doses can feel small for some so you might want to share appetizers.
Staff are nice and professional.
It feels best in sunny days when they open the façade.
With the pros and cons, Soi is better than Boa Bao.

Very cool space with a very cool concept, asian street food! The food came with weird smells (never had this kind of asian food) but tasted pretty good (8/10). Atmosphere was also great with good soft music & great staff. Overall a solid choice.

Recomendo vivamente este restaurante, é sem dúvida dos melhores restaurantes asiáticos de Lisboa e para mim é o melhor de todos até agora. Comi de entrega Korean Chicken wing's e depois um caril de borrego. Por fim terminei com brownie e sorvete de ananás e menta. Que posso dizer... Estava tudo divinal!!! Absolutamente espectacular mesmo. Recomendo vivamente!

Apesar do espaço ser bastante acolhedor, não apreciei a comida nem o atendimento. As entradas não estavam más mas o ceviche de camarão que pedi era tudo menos ceviche. O preço é muito elevado para o serviço.

One of the better Thai green curry's in Lisbon... they'll make it spicy if you ask! But the pad thai is sickeningly sweet and syrup-y. After living in Thailand... I do have high expectations (!!), but it's a shame so much sugar is used. Felt like "pad-cake" rather than "pad-thai!"

Decent fusion restaurant. The appetizers were actually better than the main dish itself. I had Massaman curry. The dish was good but not very close to what massaman curry actually is.. (I have eaten it not only in Thailand but also in several other countries)

Péssimo serviço. Tinhamos tentado reservar e disseram-nos ao telefone que não aceitam reservas. Entramos cedo no restaurante (meio vazio) e deixam-nos à espera apesar de estarem vários empregados na sala que fingem não nos ver. Quando finalmente um empregado vem ter connosco, informa-nos que não têm mesa porque estão todas reservadas. Perante o nosso espanto, responde de forma rude que podemos discutir com a chefe de sala. A chefe de sala fica 5 minutos a justificar a situação de forma arrogante, culpando a incompetência da promotora que faz reservas embora o restaurante nao as aceite, mas depois "tem de as cumprir para não incomodar os clientes" !! Queremos ir embora mas não conseguimos falar sequer porque ela não se cala, e vai dizendo "não aceitamos reservas, mas se o patrão quer jantar com amigas temos de aceitar" e "se o patrão quer fazer uma festa, temos de aceitar". Inacreditável... A evitar.

We were made to wait for more than 40 mins. I ordered veg fried rice without oyster sauce, but the dish came with sauce. They took it back and recommended me other veg dish with rice, which came out very bad. I don’t recommend this place.

Went for some food last Wednesday evening around 6.30 and was told by staff that the restaurant was closed but would be open at 7oc, we went back at 7.30 and despite there being a group of people inside being served we were once again told the restaurant was closed, when we said we were told it would be open at 7oc the guy just repeated "we're closed". Incredibly rude.

Staff with bad attitude!
One of our starter plates (spring rolls) were cleared without even asking if we still wanted to have it or not. When I went to speak with the waiter about the plate taken, she told me "no its not" and gave me a very bad look, I must have been imagining things ! Eventually one of the waiters came to me and said that he saw what happened and will return it, 15 minutes later, one spring roll arrived - I was not trusting that one spring roll!
We also ordered drinks that never arrived.
I dont recommend it and wont return.

Falta de organização do staff. Ficámos 30 minutos à espera do pedido e empregados algo arrogantes. No entanto a comida é boa.

Great Asian fusion food in Lisbon. Very tasty with good portions. The portions are so goo that I recommend not ordering too much.

Bad service. They took my order then waited 30 minutes to tell me they were on break and they wouldn’t start making my food for another 30 minutes ♂️

Excelente restaurate para apreciadores de comida asiática.... Pedi o laksa e estava óptimo! Proveio o tom yum e o sabor estava divinal, pena ser demasiado picante para mim. Aprovado e a revisitar para provar outras iguarias que me deixaram com água na boca. Top recomendo

If you are from Asia and grew up in Asia, you will be so confused about what the food is. They want to make a fusion or something I don’t know.
Thai green curry tastes extremely super salty. Sea food fried rice is definitely not the fried rice you expecting. Mango Lassi tastes no mango, more like tomato. Only nestea is ok.
And, there’s no ramen anymore!!! We was longing for a bowl of noodle soup but end up with disappointment.

Comida muito boa mas serviço muito lento e desorganizado... É esperar que se orientem antes de voltar porque a cozinha funciona muito bem mas esperar 90 min para receber o pedido porque o funcionário se esqueceu de registar hoje em dia não é admissível.

The tricky thing about these reviews is, despite what the text says you watch pictures and think with your stomach. You have to know this place is all about presentation, so the dishes might look great but the flavor is not up to par. €18 for two appetizers (one of them dripping in KFC style sauce) and a beer?! There are however many great places in this street. While you still can, opt for TRÓPICO across the street or MUITO BEY.

Unfortunately had a rather bad experience here. As an Asian myself, I have to say all the food was off. Not even fusion, just bad imitations. The Korean wings were way too salty and not at all sweet as they should be. The Papaya Salad was just vinegar thrown on papaya. The fried rice was palatable at least.
As far as service goes, the place is supposed to close at midnight but by 11 the staff was already cleaning up and putting chairs over tables. Not a very nice experience when you just ordered food and are trying to enjoying your evening.
I Hope they improve on all of these points because the place has potential.

Infelizmente foi o pior Ramen que comi até hoje! Sem sabor algum.
O espaço é agradável e os empregados atenciosos. Ofereceram o Ramen quando lhes foi dito que estava assim mau!

O espaço é bastante agradável e simpático. Experimentei o Udon de caranguejo e não fiquei fã. Não pela sua confecção mas pelas características do prato, os noodles eram bastante grossos e maçudos. Vale a pena as Korean chicken wings, bastante crocante e picantes! Aproveitem pra experimentar umas cervejas asiáticas. Visitei com um grupo de amigos ao almoço e rondou os 20€ por pessoa.

Nice casual place, trendy interior design, sublime music playlist and great overall atmosphere. Varied asian dished represented on the menu. I hope bi bim bap makes the spot in the near future...
The food was great, we had some Korean chicken wings that were great but the hot sauce was missing some sweetness to it, we also had the money bags which were absolutely delicious.(one thing to improve, would be to include the amount of pieces for starters in the menu, makes group choices much easier)
Then the mains arrived, ohh boy...
I had Pork Ramen, similar to Tonkotsu style ramen but a bit lighter(I’m assuming there was no soy milk in the broth), regardless, great broth, amazing Chasu Pork that was flame grilled beforehand(great smokiness) with a mix of pak choi, mushrooms and some tofu? And medium soft noodles. Greet stuff, would recommend.
My SO had veggie pad thai and she said it was great. Our friends were also raving about their fried rice as well.
10pm and it’s time for desert, we ordered Yuzu Sorbet(Magic words in my book) with Matcha Chocolate Brownie. Absolutely insane.
Our friends had Lemongrass Brûlée which they seemed to enjoy, I couldn’t care less, I had Yuzu in front of me...
Overall, great food and drink selection(they even had Kirin beer, Sopporo would be amazing though).
Things that need improving are the service times(although the service was adequate) and maybe the quantity information on the menu.

Para os amantes de comida asiática é um local a experimentar. O restaurante está numa zona nova em termos de oferta. Bem decorado e com um serviço simples e eficiente as opções são boas e muitas. Comparativamente com outros restaurantes asiáticos compara bem, mas confesso que esperava mais,talvez as opções não tenham sido as melhores.

Restaurante de comida Asiática com pratos deliciosos. O staff é muito simpático e conhecedor. O serviço é rápido. A atmosfera do restaurante é muito agradável sendo apropriada para um jantar de grupo para degustação dos diferentes pratos. Entradas e sobremesas soberbas.

Porções ridículas. O ceviche tinha 3 bocados de peixe e o curry era uma sopa de leite de coco com 6 bocadinhos de borrego com textura plástica . Deu para me entreter a pescar os bocadinhos de carne. Muitas especiarias para disfarçar o fraco conteúdo!

Pros: The service is nice, it looks trendy.
Cons: Worst pad thai I've ever had in my life. Incredibly sugary. It tasted like peanut butter, soy sauce, and just completely unlike any pad thai I've ever had. The prices are high. I didn't see any Asian people who ate here. My most disappointing meal in Lisbon.

The overall vibe and setting is really nice considering the limited authentic Asian food scene in Lisbon. However, both times we went there they were “out of ramen” when we asked why? the answer was ‘it takes too much time to make them’ So most probably when you go there they won’t have it.... or call in advance... but the starters are tasty. The samosas bang bang with beetroot ricotta and peas with spices are great. The Baos are tasty and light especially the pork and prawn one. We had the Pad Thai and it was average. I would only go back for an aperetivo kind of organization with friends. It is not a place for a full meal considering price performance rate.

I love Thai cuisine and I thought I was going to finally taste an amazing Pad Thai, but it wasn’t anything special. It was the most similar to a real Pad Thai I’ve had in Portugal but it was still too bitter. The same for the spicy chicken wings and the green mango salad, all very bitter. Prices are a bit too high too. Service is great though and the place looks really nice.

Fui pela primeira vez por ter sido considerado dos melhores restaurantes asiáticos de Lisboa. O Pad Thai vegetariano era muito bom mas os restantes pratos não eram nada de especial. O serviço e bom e tem um bom ambiente.

장소는 요즘 새로운 식당들이 많이 열리는 위치에 있어 좋습니다. 여러 아시아 음식을 판매하고 한국 양념치킨을 판다기에 방문했지만 양념치킨맛은 아니구요. 가격대비 양도 적고 비싼편입니다. 예약석이 거의 90%를 차지하고 있어서 그냥 방문하는 고객에게는 창가쪽 자리 외에는 많은 옵션이 없네요. 하지만 칵테일과 다른 음식은 괜찮았습니다. 직원분들 너무 친절했구요! 직원분들 친절함에 더 많은 점수를 드립니다.

Fui com um casal amigo e depois de ver algumas avaliações positivas resolvi experimentar. Não gostei nem eu nem os meus amigos . Comida salgada com demasiado molho de soja possivelmente para disfarçar. Fiquei desiludido. Bom atendimento e bom ambiente mas não chega

We had the pork ramen and pork sate. The pork sate was good but really small. The ramen was excellent. The problem was that the service was slow. We wated 30min for the food
