Loved LOVED this restaurant. Food for everyone from my wife (octopus) and daughter (salmon sushi sampler), even my son (special made veggie sushi). The staff was awesome, so was every dish. Stop by to make reservations and definitely GO!

Local abarrotado, ruidoso con poca atención...el pescado no estaba mal pero pedimos unas gambas que eran congeladas a precio de oro. El tartar de atún incomible...para no volver! No sé cómo puede estar tan de moda siendo tan pésimo.

Vin maison délicieux et frais, accueil nickel les plats valent le prix mais un peu déçu par la quantité de raskas (poisson) dans les assiètes les sushis calent bien et valent le coût.

Sea Me was such a fun experience. They invite you to choose your fish from their fish market and a staff member will walk you through all of the fish and what they taste like, etc. the fish we chose was cooked perfectly and was extremely reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our server, too.

This is a very popular restaurant for locals. It definitely need to do advance booking. The dishes are simple and delicious. Atmosphere is friendly and family like locals. I just love the hints of table set up which I took various shoots to show the hints... It is fun... Sea Me or See me!

Exquisitely fresh seafood and a modern ambiance make this restaurant the perfect spot for a nice night out with friends or a significant other, while still being affordable. Have your pick of the delicious menu options or check out the multiple fresh catches of the day at market price. Great wine selection as well. Dishes work well to share and each was better than the last!

Overall a good experience. Fresh seafood, nice wine list. They put interesting touches to the process of ordering at a fresh section and add nice details like yummy butter with seaweed. The grouper tartare was outstanding as were the gooseneck barnacles. Our waiter was in a bad mood and not the nicest. Overall a worthwhile spot.

I RARELY send out a dish back in a restaurant but when I do I don’t expect to be charged for it.
We just left the restaurant really disappointed (not no say ANGRY) for the experience we had!
Among other dishes that we have ordered and were not more than ok we ordered a code fish dish. The fish was extremely SALTY and dry and the bartender we consulted with about what to order - didn’t say a word about it.
The dish was inedible and when we told her we can’t eat it she said that’s the way they do it and she took it away and asked if we want something else. We said yes and she changed it to a different dish of mussels risotto which was disgusting! But we didn’t say anything cause they already changed the first one for us.
When the bill came we surprisingly noticed they charged us for the fish dish!!! We told the bartender and she said they are not changing dishes and the manager said the same and was really vicious to us and screamed that we are going to pay for it and walked away.
We were shocked!
I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS!!!
Stay Away from this tourist FOOD TRAP!

Nothing fancy but good atmosphere and you don't go there for the decoration.
The fish was fresh and well cooked , lots of seafood choices.
4/5 star as we had a vegetarian friend who had no choice but to take what the waiter proposed him as there was one option only.

Rude staff, terrible service, the order came wrong.. TWICE ... and the fish that was supposed to be grilled was almost raw. There was someone smoking in the restaurant and when we complained, the manager said we were mistaken even though the staff itself could smell it. Wouldn’t recommend and would never come back... Lisbon has better restaurants

Although the food is good, the staff are very rude. The receptionist at the door is very rude, when the place gets busy. The waiters are very rude, especially to non-Portuguese speakers. Does not reflect the nature of Portuguese people
All in all, not recommended: you are better off in the SO many good fish places in Lisbon

Sou frequentadora do Sea Me pelo menos há 6 anos. Sempre que estou em Lisboa reservo mesa.
Na noite passada toda a experiência foi muito muito muito má!
Liguei pelas 19:00, atendeu-me o gerente Luís, fiz reserva para as 22:00...
Eram 21:50 quando cheguei ao restaurante e informam-me que não fiz reserva?!? E que o meu nome nem sequer está registado na lista de reservas?!?
Reclamei e ponderei pedir de imediato o livro de reclamações...mas como estava acompanhada decidi dar uma oportunidade...
Eram já 22:45 quando me arranjaram mesa e só não vim embora, pois tínhamos feito uma viagem de 300km e queríamos jantar!
Não o "pesadelo" não se ficou por aqui!
Após nos sentarem numa mesa trouxeram os couverts, e no patê um belo cabelo preto pequeno (concerteza de homem) servia de guarnição!
Eu já completamente passada só queria o livro de reclamações pois o cabelo foi a gota de água!!!
Para finalizar, escolhemos um pregado para grelhar na brasa que nos custou 96€ e o mesmo veio cru no interior! Pedimos para por favor o passar mais um pouco e estivemos 25 minutos à espera que passassem um peixe um pouco mais na brasa!!!
Conclusão: serviço péssimo! Experiência muito muito muito má!!!
A não voltar nunca mais, pois um jantar que ficou por 110€ para duas pessoas (em que só o peixe foram 96€), deveria ter sido fabuloso e foi horrendo!
Não aconselho, deixou de fazer parte do meu top list em Lisboa e só não escrevi no livro de reclamações pois a pessoa que estava comigo pediu-me para não o fazer e para nunca mais lá voltarmos.

This restaurant is a lot of fun with very nice staff. We got some great fresh seafood here and the place had a great buzz to it. The black rice with cuttlefish is excellent too.

Очень шумно. Атмосфера переполненной столовой, невозможно говорить. Столы стоят очень близко друг к другу. Рыба свежая, закисеи интересные. Мы не смогли досидеть до конца ужина и пошли есть десерт в другой ресторан с приятной атмосферой. Цены также сильно завышены, особенно для Португалии. 90 евро на 2-х за рыбу на гриле и 3 бокала вина, 1 легкая закуска из кальмара и их комплимент, который они включают в счёт. Не вернёмся никогда.

It was my second time there because we loved the food so much on our first visit.
I would recommend the restaurant to keep track better of their reservation system- when we arrived someone already took my reservation.

Great experience to eat at this famous restaurant in the center of Lisbon. First class best quality fresh fish and tempura, excellent service, great ambiance, very touched by the good will and gesture of the Chef. Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely visit again.

The service and atmosphere were alright but the food made me sick.
I ate the black rice with mussels and a couple of hours later I got really sick. So yeah... Paid 22 euros to puke afterwards and ruin half of my day visiting Lisbon. :(
If you want to eat here, at least choose your own fresh fish from the market.

Un lugar que está de moda y se come deliciosamente fresco y a buen precio. No olvides preguntar qué os lleven a la parada del mercado que tienen dentro donde eliges tú pescado y que te lo hacen al grill sin salsas que lo disfracen. También su barra japonesa y surtidos de makis y sashimi esta super rico.

Truly amazing. The culinary experience, service, freshness. All top class. I recommend having an early lunch when the chefs have time to experiment. Chose from the catch-of-the-day and let them inspire you. They might even serve you a somewhat “sustainable” surprise as a finale.

Well, it was definitely not bad. But if you want to target customers of a bit higher wealth, you must improve.
We were shown the freshly caught fish of the day and it really looked tasty. But as it is with prices per kilogramm, it is very difficult to evaluate for the customer how much that will finally cost. Due to that we finally picked sushi 2 different sushi plates from the menu. Meanwhile we had the automatically (!) served pre-dishes of bread, butter, fish paste and olive oil. Inside it was very warm and barely space to move as they try to put as many tables as possible in there. The main dishes were pretty quickly served and looked nice. But I must tell, that I had it better AND cheaper in areas with higher living costs off the ocean. The main reason why this place is not receiving a positive rating from me is, that once you ask for the check, all the politeness of the employees is gone and you find dishes on your bill, you didn't even order (automatically served low quality pre-dishes).

Auf Grund der guten Bewertungen waren wir hier.
Leider fanden wir hier nichts für unsere Kinder.
Wir wählten dann 3 Sushi-Gerichte aus.
Beim Kellner fragten wir, ob wir alles zusammen bekommen könnten. Dieser meinte, dass das ginge.
Die Essen kamen dann alle im Abstand von 10 min.. Die krossen heißen Sushi -Rollen waren klein, salzig und der Fisch war..... naja.
Das dritte Gericht war Sashimi. Diese Portion war sehr klein und nicht besonders dünn geschnitten.
Der Fisch war mittelmäßig.
Und dann kam die Rechnung. Darauf befanden sich pro Person (unsere Kinder sind 9 und 12) 3,50 für schlechtes Öl, harte Butter und eine Creme sowie kleine Brotstücken (14€).
Das kannten wir von den Vortagen anders.
Also mittelmäßiges Essen für zu viel Geld. Und dabei geben wir sonst gern mehr Geld für gute Essen aus!

Esse restaurante está em todos os roteiros de Lisboa. Portanto, é bom reservar mesa. Há um balcão para quem quer algo mais despojado (eu adoro). No salão é um pouco barulhento, o serviço é muito bom! São atenciosos. No dia que fui provei, como entrada, o niguri de sardinha que é simplesmente divino! Peça e não irá se arrepender. Como prato principal comi um peixe chamado Pregado, que foi assado na brasa com legumes salteados, que estava leve e muito gostoso. De sobremesa uma mousse de chocolate que estava muito boa também! Enfim, vale muito a pena e um conselho: escolha uma mesa do lado da parede, nunca no meio do salão, pois o barulho é ensurdecedor. No mais, relaxe e aproveite a experiência!

Uno dei posti migliori in Lisbona, selezione di ampia gamma di pesce fresco da poter scegliere direttamente dalla pescheria e menu con ampia scelta, piatti locali ed anche giapponesi. Tartare dello chef buonissima, tuna tataki ottimo, baccalà ai ferri con spinaci e patate. Adatto sia a pranzo che a cena.

Talvez o ponto alto da gastronomia fusion em Lisboa. Uma mistura de sushi house e marisqueria. Ótimos pratos. Salada de robalo e sashimis de pargos, dourados e robalos. Sushis de alta qualidade. Tudo muito saboroso. Atendimento qualificado do gerente Paulo. O lado ruim fica pro preço, um pouco salgado. De resto não há o que reclamar. É uma “cereja no bolo” nessa modalidade gastronômica. We came here for New year's Eve. Food was nice, nothing spectacular but the alcohol was included in the price and they didn't hold back so no complaints here! The highlight was the John dory with fig, so unusual but really delicious. They forgot to serve us desert but apart from that service was good as we were at the bar. The guy who was serving us seemed to have had a few drinks himself which was entertaining but don't think his manager shared our feelings! Probably overpriced for what it is though and don't know if I would return but we had fun and it was an experience we will remember fondly.

양이 많으면 조금씩 잘라서 무게대로 가격을 준다.
오징어가 너무 커서 머리쪽 반만 잘라달라니까 해줬음. 직원분들 완전 친절하고 해산물 전문가.
뭔가 손님 입장에서 메뉴를 골라줘서 좋다.
특히 정어리 구운 초밥 핵강추.JMT
영국 런던에 비하면 합리적인 가격이다.

Fresh seafood provided here with reseonable price. They weigh the seafood that you choose. The staff and the main chef Rodrigues is very knowledgeable and professional on Japanease cuisine and sea food. So impressed. I mark 150 out of 100.

This is without exaggeration the best food I have tasted in Lisbon if not in my entire life. We ordered many dishes so we tried a variety of things and I kid you not, when I tell you, each and every single dish was marvelous. Our three favourite things would have to be: sardine sushi, almond tempura shrimps and clams in buttery and garlicky sauce. The interior is a piece of art on it own and the waiters have all been really nice and accommodating. I'm already planning my next meal here, hoping it will be some time soon because this food will stay in my mind for a long time!

Fresh fish at its finest. You have a choice of about 15-20 types of fish and shell fish. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Sushi is very recommendable.

My family and I were pretty disappointed in this restaurant. The food was over priced, over cooked, and the servers weren't transparent about the pricing. We were given bread before receiving menus that said bread was charged per person (since it was brought out automatically we assumed it was complimentary). All the extras that came with our fish (potatoes, tomatoes, veggies) were also brought out without letting us know they were extra, and halfway through our meal they brought us even more extras. It was quite a surprise when we got the bill. There's much fresher, more affordable seafood around the city than at this place. Do not recommend.

Conceito bem conseguido no qual fazem uma visita guiada pelo "mercado" de peixaria, onde se encontra uma boa variedade de opções, contudo extra-menu (+€). Por outro lado a organização da carta é prática uma vez que oferece diferentes conceitos como os pratos de partilha, todos eles assentes numa conjugação de peixe com outros ingredientes que assentam muito bem. Os preços não são propriamente acessíveis, mas considerando o bom serviço, a qualidade dos pratos e o espaço, diria que são ajustáveis. Recomendo a salada de robalo e o tártaro de atum nos pratos de partilha. Como prato principal optei pelo polvo à lagareiro e não desiludio. A principal crítica prende-se com a música que estava um pouco alta, o que não viabiliza tanto um jantar a dois, mas sim um de convívio em grupo. Se me perguntarem se volto: talvez.

L'endroit est très beau et la qualité de la nourriture impressionnante. Le choix est énorme et tout est préparé de façon absolument délicieuse. La carte de vins est impeccable aussi. Il vaut mieux arriver tôt car le restaurant ne désemplit pas et bien que le service soit efficace il ralentit quand la salle est pleine. Si vous en avez l'occasion c'est ici que vous pourrez tester une façon moderne de manger le poisson au Portugal !!

É dificil explicar aqui mas durante o jantar vi coisas do tipo: entraram uns amigos do gerente e a empregada que senta clientes diz-lhe que tem ali 2 pessoas à espera há 30 minutos, e o gerente diz: por mim até podiam estar há 50, estes estão primeiro. Eu como cliente senti-me mal com várias situaçoes que ali assisti e só volto se não voltar a ver aquele senhor careca lá, não tem qualquer sentido de serviço e parece que está a gerir a portaria de um clube de strip, para além das asneiras, piropos brejeiros a clientes estrangeiras, enfim um desastre.

Locale accogliente, dove poter mangiare pesce fresco e sushi.
È presente un banco con almeno 15 tipologie di pesce da scegliere , che verranno grigliati al momento e serviti con verdure grigliate e patate arrosto.
Buonissima l’orata, di ottima qualità e il baccalà al forno (non presente nel bancone) servito su un letto di verdure scottate.

It was amazing! Our waitress, Louisa, was very knowledgeable and professional. She recommended excellent wine as well. The whole experience of choosing your own fresh fish/seafood which is then grilled by the chef and served with your choice of sides, was special. Our creme Brulee was to die for! Make your reservation and go eat there as fast as you can!

Wspaniałe potrawy z owoców morza i ryb. Jedliśmy tu sushi, smażoną ośmiornicę z pieczonymi ziemniakami, dorsza i pyszne małże z rybnego marketu. Można też tu wypić bardzo dobre wina. Obsługa jest bardzo pomocna i uprzejma. Na wieczór stoliki są wyłącznie na rezerwację, ale można przyjść zarezerwować, pochodzić i wrócić. My czekaliśmy ok 1,5h na stolik. Naprawdę warto tu przyjść. Średnio posiłek dla dwóch osób kosztował nas 55€.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Zu Mittag kann es im Oktober sehr voll werden, am Abend ist es ruhiger. Ich habe die meisten Vorspeisen getestet. Sie waren alle sehr schmackhaft. Tuna Sashimi with Wasabi Parfait- ein Traum!
Und das Personal ist zwar sehr gestresst, aber dennoch um Freundlichkeit bemüht.

Nous sommes passés réserver une table hier soir à 19h pour 20h.. personne ne nous a demandé de numéro de téléphone... à notre arrivée, une personne antipathique et qui visiblement n’a jamais appris à sourire nous a expliqué que notre table avait été donnée car nous avions 5 minutes de retard nous proposans d’attendre 2h pour une nouvelle... à l’avenir ne prenez plus de réservations ou faites le correctement...

일단 요즘 힙한 곳인 거 같아요. 예약 안 하고 갔는데 겨우 두 자리 구해줘서 들어갔어요. 직원들도 너무 친절하고 해산물 바로 바로 요리해줘요. 저녁을 먹어서 간단히 시켜먹었는데 다 맛있었어요. 튀김이 의외로 맛있었고. 디저트 정말 최고였어요.
I think this is a hip place these days. I didn't make a reservation but I only got two seats. The staff are very friendly and cook the seafood right away. I ate it after dinner and it was all delicious. Tempura was unexpectedly delicious. Dessert was the best.

Estuvimos la semana pasada cenando 6 personas. Una hora esperando que nos sirvieran. Entre varias cosas pedimos lenguado y pulpo. Y cual es nuestra sorpresa que viene el pulpo encima del lenguado. No vino ninguno de los encargados a disculparse. Nos volvieron a poner otro pulpo y era congelado, el lenguado seco. En fin, un sitio carisimo y para nada volver a repetir. NO LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE.

I can't say I would go back. My salmon was a lot raw than what I usually have enjoyed. The sides were okay, I was not impressed. All the same taste to my palette. And for a main course it was too pricey and not a lot. I would suggest a starter. But there are a lot more options out there!

Você tem a opção da escolha do peixe, que estão expostos no balcão ou aquário, os pratos são feitos por “ Chef“ especialista em frutos do mar, conclusão pelos temperos, paladares montagem dos pratos sempre bem servidos e fartos ( atende à duas pessoas ). Neste restaurante você encontra o “ camarão tigre “ e outras iguarias mediterrânea. Um restaurante que merece “ Estrelas Michelin”.
Um ótimo ambiente para grupos, família ou casal.

A sea-foodie heaven! Wonderfully sea-fresh, delicious, with a fish market-like variety of seafood. A very knowledgeable team offer friendly advice and guide you through the many options. Our favorite was the whole fish prepared half Japanese half Portuguese (and we got a Peruvian tiradito bonus!) Excellent service and a wonderful, vibrant ambiance. Pricey but worth it. If you love seafood, there is no better place in Lisboa!

You have two options: select your fish from the "fishmonger's" or one dish from the menu. The menu is short and the options don't make a lot of sense. Maybe the fishmonger option is better, but I don't think I will come back. I also think that it is expensive for what you get. In my opinion, there are better options in the area. Nice staff.

Das Essen war einfach ungenießbar. Teilweise war der „roasted Codfish“ roh, das Gemüse undefinierbar, zäh und voller Knoblauch. Wir haben für dieses ungenießbare Essen, das wir zu mehr als der Hälfte zurückgehen ließen, auch noch 22 Euro pro Portion bezahlen müssen.

Not good value for money (an average bream costs €100 for example).
Food is good, but the price is super expensive for Lisbon and the taste is not ‘wow’.
You can get the same taste and good fish in more traditional places in Bairro Alto (if you want to stay in the center) or further from the center for an even more affordable price (without compromising quality or taste).
The staff was ok, not especially nice, but very competent, proficient and with good recommendations.
Wouldn’t come back or recommend though... ♀️
P.S. - No toilet paper in the bathroom for a €60/pax restaurant?

Food was very, very expensive for what you got. I think a scallop or two was $10 Euros. I had some sort of tuna tartar/sashimi on a bun. In the first place it was very salty. Then I became very ill. If you still think it's worth a try, watch the chefs prepare the food: most if not all comes from vacu-packaged containers - forget fresh - and the preparation will remind you of McDonald's. Their 'unusual preparations' include items such as an octopus tentacle in a hot dog bun... there are a few gimmicks like this on the menu ...

Starter of the giant gambas (one of my favourite shellfish) was simply grilled and delicious
Getting the mixed sashimi was good, but honestly not the best choice
The sushi roll on the other hand was excellent
One thing I would change, they need some spicy sushi rolls as well, some nice chilli or spice would be great, but that did not take away from a great meal

During our trip to Portugal we visited Lisbon and stayed close to this restaurant.
This place was chosen according to reviews and did not regret it.
Of the shortcomings, there were a lot of visitors, but the staff was quick and could handle everyone.
Fresh oysters, king prawns in a wonderful garlic sauce!

Tolles Konzept und fangfrischer Fisch. Ich hatte Sushi(eines der besten die ich je hatte, mit tollen, auch mal anderen Fischen). Meine Freundin hatte Wolfsbarsch. Sie fand ihn etwas versalzen, ich fand ihr perfekt...aber weil sie die Chefin ist hat sie entschieden, dass es nur 4 Sterne gibt...ich hätte 5 gegeben. This restaurant disappoints me badly. First of all there’s a bread and spread already on the table that they won’t tell you that’s an extra charged. Of course they will show you their fish market that’s so expensive before ordering from the real menu.
We ordered sautéed shrimp from garlic and steak sandwich with no presentation at all. I would say it was not appetizing.
Not worth the amount we paid for.

후......별 하나도 아깝다. 3가지 해산물 플래터랑 문어요리 시켰는데. 해산물 플래터는 sea snail이 없다고 새우로 대체해줬는데 세가지가 다 새우로 나와서 인간새우되는줄 알았네요. 문어도 맛있다고 못느꼈어요. 오질라게 비싸고 친절하지도 않고. 누가 맛있다고 그랫나.

Another 2 years since we came here and the quality and service is even better. What can I say? The service was extraordinarily, the fish so fresh! Even the sides (vegetables) were beautifully cooked and as fresh as the fish.
This time we are with family.
Starters were Clams, Cuttlefish and Sea Bass and Seaweed salad. They were perfect with the whole Rock Cod, Grouper and Snapper . A true feast for 7.
Truly a memorable night.

After we got the Portuguese wine we were asked to come with the waitress to have a look at the "fish market". Here we could pick out every fish, oyster, scallop etc. we wanted. You can also pick from the menu if you want. Amazing concept and lovely staff!!

Demasiado caro para tener sillas duras de madera sin cojines, y mesas sin manteles. Sólo tienen un baño ( unisex), evidentemente insuficiente para el tamaño del local. El agua a 7 euros, más cara que la cerveza! Los pescados, bien, pero con una relación calidad/precio que no invita a volver.

Unbelievable fresh seafood and sushi. Pure cuisine, wonderful staff. Make a reservation, they will fill up quickly and you will miss out. Our house host recommended this place and was our favorite meal of the trip to Portugal.

Have to try this when in Lisbon. The selection of fresh seafood is what we tried. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Seafood cooked simple. We got the large prawns and it was yum. Thanks to the cab driver from south africa for the recommendation!

O sea me é um excelente local para quem gosta de peixe, não é de todo tradicional e rústico mas consegue oferecer pratos deliciosos. Para quem gosta pode ainda explorar o sushi. Experimentei o polvo e fiquei rendido o prato muito bem confecionado e composto. A carta de vinhos é bastante vasta porém a grande maioria dos vinhos é de gama alta ou um pouco mais caros do que o habitual, o que acaba por fazer target a clientes não locais. O preço médio por pessoa situa-se nos 25/30 euros. Vale a pena a visita.

Watch: they don’t honor reservations. Apart from that it is a must go in Lisbon. Live fish you pick to be cooked. Exquisite sushis with local fishes and different combinations like I never saw before. Try the eel with foie gras and the sardine sushi. Happy ambiance and waiters.

Food was great but service was appalling. Server knocked over our wine and spilled it, didn't apologize or replace it. Server tried to pick up our plates and was clearly struggling, when we tried to help, they responded with "I got it I got it (multiple times)" in an annoyed to e.
We ordered scallops, which didn't go well with the mango sauce, the sauce ruined the flavour. Clams were great though, a decent surprise!

We made a reservation and made everything easier and faster in the sitting situation. When we arrived they showed us the fresh fish they had and made certain recommendation. If you go I would suggest ordering a fresh fish not they different dishes they have well they are specialized in grilled fish. Besides the fish we ordered sushi and I wouldn't recommend this type of plate here. The overall experience was good but it is quite expensive and very loudy.

In terms of food, tuna tataki with wasabi sorbet was excellent and tartare (fish of the day) was amazing too. My least favourite was 'mussels and squid black rice' coz rice was slightly overcooked. Since we visited busy night of the week ( Friday night), very crowded and felt like joining the table next to each other, because of this reason, for me definitely not the best dining vibe. Price was quite reasonable. Service was okay. Overall, if you are a seafood lover, you would enjoy, but I would recommend to visit less busy days or night than Fridays or Saturdays in order to feel more vibe.

It's a good idea to reserve a table as it gets very busy.
It's not cheap but the food quality is good, excellent service (even sitting at the bar (which has plenty of room).
If you want somewhere a little more upmarket to eat at this is the place to go..

I did a reservation to get at table and and not to be a number on a waiting list.
For the lady on the entrance: people waiting with reservation are getting angry if you forward later arriving larger groups to optimize your sales.

Food was delicious and very filling. Loved picking our fish! We chose a big red snapper - which, when cooked, was served beautifully and was delicious.
The staff were very lovely - friendly and super helpful. But be prepared to part with your cash! Or maybe that was us, quaffing champagne and scrumptious oysters? Highly recommended!

Dazu kommt noch eine unglaublich nette Crew, der man anmerkt, dass ihnen ihre Arbeit dort auch bei größtem Stress richtig Spaß macht. Restaurante no Chiado, com um menu virado para o peixe (no balcão, escolhido na hora) ou tb marisco. Este é o restaurante que deu origem ao "prego de peixe", e à cadeia de restaurantes "prego da peixaria". Por isso, carta de pratos principais é reduzida, sem grandes opçoes, embora bem confeccionados. Tem opção de sushi e algumas peças de fusão são muito boas (niguiri de bacalhau). As sangrias são muito boas, melhores que a maioria, e tem boa carta de vinhos. Em geral o preço é elevado (por ex. 2 peças de niguiri vale quase 10 euro).

There are places much better than this one in this amazing city. The fish itself is ok, as it is in many other restaurants in Lisbon. We tried a few japanese options here and the way the rice was cooked was rather average. The fresh seafood is what saved it. Also don't expect anything like wasabi or ginger.
The service, atmosphere, interior, even the smell and the other things that make major impression, are worse than you expect them to be in a place with such ratings, recommendations and price range.

We visited the location on the time out market. Amazing! I have celiac disease so I require gluten free food, not just ingredient but contamination as well. I used Google translate to explain, but they quickly understood and we could proceed in English. I ordered the scallops with mango and they all agreed they could make it safely for me. Even 10 minutes later when my husband ordered it (we needed to get the correct card), they remembered me and happily made my order. Not only was it delicious, but I did not get sick.

Very authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi although the staff says they are not Japanese restaurant. Very fresh and delicious seafood and totally helped fixing our crave for Asian food. It would be even better if sake is served. In general this is a lovely place and we will try to come back.
PS. It does get busy at night so better book before you go.

Yummy codfish, tiger prawns and scallops! I forgot to order the sardine nigiri since sardine is what Portugal is known for and it was a bit of a Japanese fused restaurant! Oysters were lusciously delicious!
Service was swell. Long wait during peak hours, but it's worth it!

We were waiting as line before restaurant open at 18:45.
When restraint opened, The reception (women) made us wait for reservation costumers first.It’s natural.
While we were waiting , I was trying to take a rest in the chair.
But she commanded me not to use these chair, even 90% of chair was vacant at that time.
She refused to explain about it.
I had no choice but to wait standing in the restaurant.
15mn later , reception said to us(me , wife ,chaild who is 3years old)
She said
[It’s fully booked, you need to leave.]
I thought I would like to know before start waiting in restaurant. But I didn’t want to blame her.
so I asked her.
[we are leaving soon, like 30mn. could we use any seat?]
My child was crying for starving.
She said
[No, I said to you it’s fully booked. There is no available seat here.]
Finally, we call Uber to take other restaurant.
At the moment, I could see the group who were line behind us enter the restaurant and sat down seat in the very back.
(※I knew them coz we were talking while waiting, and I knew they had no reservation)
I came back to restaurant to ask her what’s going on?
She said to me
[you didn’t ask me if there is available seat in the very back. ]
I said
[I asked anyplace, please give us the seat ]
She said without any apology.
[do you understand? The place was full already for the group.]
Then I realized she didn’t want us to come in the restaurant.
I didn’t realize why we were bullied by her.
Because of our race. We are Asian.
It’s definitely racial discrimination.
This restaurant hired the racist as receptionist.
In any case , we felt very very very sad.
I love Lisbon, I do love Portuguese.
I don’t want to believe there is such a person in there.
But this restaurant made us so sad.

I came in with modest hopes, but left extremely impressed. Every dish we ordered--from sushi to the Portuguese meat sandwich--was just the right combination of solid and special. The atmosphere feels more new-world cosmopolitan than old-town Lisboa, which actually makes it a surprisingly fun change of pace.

What a wonderful discovery! This trendy Portuguese/Japanese style seafood place gives a high end experience, amazing food and great vibes. Every dish was splendid, wine was great and service was superb.
After having such great experience we also went to "Meat me", a meat focused restaurant created by the same people which also was a spectacular exp. Highly recommend.

Choose your fresh fish from the fish market.
Pay by weight.
Have it cooked for you.
Or
Enjoy freshly prepared sushi that melts in your mouth.
Only detraction was the noise. The music did not fit the atmosphere at all. It is supposed to be a fish and d.j. rock idea. Quiet frankly the music spoilt the uniqueness of the experience.
Perhaps they aim for a younger (-40) target group.

A popular seafood restaurant in town recommended by many guide books. Staff got quite a bit of attitude, but that’s ok if the food is good. Unfortunately for my Japanese standard for raw fish quality, it’s just standard. The way how fish is cut for sashimi is shocking and amateur-ish. I guess they can keep European customers happy but not if you are Asian or Japanese knowing what sashimi and sushi is really like in Japan. So long review short - there’s nothing to write home about, not certainly worthwhile to put up with a long wait and unpleasant staff.

They have a regional fish market and they take the time to explain the different dishes/fishes. The fish and starters were extraordinary. I didn't like the sides that much. But they were still ok. The service was really good.

This is the best contemporary seafood restaurant that I have ever tried ! Make sure you ask the wild catch of the day to make the fresh sashimi super meaty in the mouth and the feeling is amazing ! Highly recommend!

Buena calidad y el lugar es perfecto si quieres ver y disfrutar de otro tipo de comida tradicional. Hay que reservar y aún así te hacen esperar bastante . La meter es un poco seca , que no creo que sea necesario . El servicio es bueno ,pero deberían de especificar cuando vas a la zona de la pescadería que se vieran bien los precios de los pescados . Tuvimos una gran sorpresa cuando nos trajeron la cuenta . Los precios están medio borrosos . El lugar es muy agradable y señorial . Calidad precio me parece excesivo . Mirar bien los precios antes de pedir y preguntar para estar seguros ,que luego te sacan una etiqueta que se ve perfectamente y con otro precio . O esa fue mi experiencia

Excellent service, attentive and gave us great recommendations. The food was made to perfection, not just the fish and shellfish, but the accompanying vegetables too. Good selection of wine to boot. It is not cheap by any means, but considering the freshness and quality of the products it is not overpriced. I will definitely go again.

This Expensive popular spot was recommended to us as the local premier seafood restaurant in the area. Coming in, you’re given the option of picking your own fresh fish or seafood which they then grill and serve. Fish chosen this way is pretty overpriced though. You can also pick from a menu which we did. Good dishes with a lot of sushi selections. Notable dishes we had were seared scallops and octopus, both very good. I ordered the sea bass off the menu and it was just OK. Sea Me clearly models itself as a high end restaurant. While it might be worth a visit, it feels a bit overpriced and pretentious.
