La lubina estaba muy buena( pero muy cara para el tamaño, 57€ para dos personas). los postres tambien estaban buenos.

Visited this restaurant twice and loved it both times. The fresh Sea bass cooked simply was the best. Good service , nice wine and reasonably priced.

These ratings and review taught me perspective and context. When you have traveled to countries with amazing fresh seafood, your expectations are higher. We have already been to some amazing Portuguese seafood and marisco restaurants at average pricing of €8-13 per entree. Naturally when you buy this restaurant’s house special platter at €75 per plate, you expect amazing and fresh. I would give both the paella and the grilled marisco platter a pass. Grilled platter was over priced for the number of things we got in the platter. Paella was a huge miss. Over salty, slathered in too much butter. What a waste that the tiger shrimp and smallish lobster on it was over cooked and so salty on top of the rice. For a €200 Meal - for 3 adults and 2 kids below 10, we would have our money’s Worth elsewhere. Only saving grace is food service.

I brought clients to O Pescador 3 times in May 2019 (3 people, 14 people and 10 people).
The staff is very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable.
Every suggested wine and menu item was perfect!
Each night we were welcomed by the owner Maria Jose and then spoiled by the fabulous recommendations from our spectacular server Joāo.
Thank you to all the fabulous O Pescador staff for the wonderful experience and memories!

Comida deliciosa e menu de preços bastante amplos para servir quem quer investir e quem não quer. A quinta estrela não vai só pelo calor que faz no lugar, mesmo q se esteja na esplanada coberta. Mas se pra você isso não é um problema, delicie-se!

Από το 1964 μας ενημερώνει η σχετική ταμπέλα στην ψαροταβέρνα, υπάρχει ο "ψαράς" στο Κασκαις. Όμορφο ταβερνάκι,καθαρό, με εξυπηρετικό προσωπικο και σίγουρα καλό φαγητό. Οι τιμές φυσιολογικές προς λίγο τσιμπημένες, αλλά σε μια τοποθεσία σαν αυτή και με τον υπάρχοντα τουρισμό, όλα καλά.Τουλαχιστον δεν μας είπαν να φάμε σαρδέλες αρχές Μαΐου, ενώ αυτές απ'οτι μαθαμε ξεκινούν από Ιούλιο. Άρα στη Λισαβόνα όλοι έτρωγαν κατεψυγμένες!!!

Some of the food on the menu is pretty expensive, we ordered the cheaper dishes and they were fine but nothing special for the price. I think this restaurant would be worth going to if you wanted to spend loads of money!

Ce restaurant propose beaucoup de choix de poissons et fruits de mer. Nous avons testé la morue et la pieuvre grillée, les deux plats étaient très bons, cuisson parfaite. Ces deux plats traditionnels étaient servis avec des pommes de terre rôties, œuf dur, ail, et bien évidemment arrosés d'huile d'olive ;) (donc peu adaptés si vous voulez quelque-chose de léger...).
Les desserts sont sympathiques, la dame blanche consistait en une boule de glace vanille noyée dans le chocolat chaud.

El servicio fue acorde con la calidad de la comida. Una cena para 2 ronda los 50€ (dependiendo que pidas). El pescado/marisco es muy fresco y sabroso. Lo recomendamos.

Buen sitio para comer.
Pedimos parrillada de marisco que estaba muy buena, productos de calidad. Para los niños también tiene cosas.

Good food with well done simple flavours. I enjoyed the lobster soup. The grilled octopus and shrimp was alright, a little overcooked for my liking maybe. But the roastee Bacalhau was good. The portions are big, prices are on the high side but fair considering the location. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

Según lo ves piensas mal sobre este sitio, pero luego no es así.
El aspecto inicial puede parecer un restaurante para cazar extranjeros, pero se trata de un restaurante en el que podrás disfrutar de los típicos platos portugueses.
Muy recomendable el bacalao y la carne está bastante buena, además de que las raciones son grandes.

I like the lobster soup. Fish soup is not recommended if you are Chinese stomach. And the lobsters in paella is a bit dry, either does the rice.

Ordered the grilled sea bass off the lunch menu. The fish was prepared well enough but after the waiter filleted it there was hardly any fish left. It was served with two tiny patatas and three pieces of carrot. The portion of my wife's dish was similarly small and disappointing. We left hungry after one course deciding to get a big desert somewhere else.

Food was stunning, the local sea bass baked in salt was so good. The local octopus was good too. Lost one star for the workmen drilling close by which impacted the atmosphere but not really the fault of the restaurant

Very good restaurant with a nice vibe and professional service. We had lunch there - swordfish Portuguese style with amazing home made potato chips and dorada with small potatoes. For dessert: grilled pineapple with coconut sauce and apple pie - both delicious. A bottle of dry white wine from Northern Portugal made the day:)

Bei der Kinderportion Fischfilet mit Kartoffeln hört der Spaß dann auf. Nicht einmal ein Iglo Fischfilet mit 3 Minikartoffeln und das war es!
Lebensmitteleinsatz von Max. 2 Euro und dann für zwei kleine fertige panierte Fischfilet und 3 Mini Kartoffeln 12 Euro zu verlangen ist nicht in Ordnung.
Allgemein ist die Anrichtung der Portionen nicht angemessen!
Der gelobte Schwertfisch sind zwei hauchdünne Scheibchen/(Steaks)mit Kartoffelchips. Geschmacklich gut aber 18 Euro? Naja!
Tigerprawns für 25 Euro blank auf dem Teller.
1 Stück halbiert....mit ein bisschen Deko...

Muy buen bacalao y gran pulpo a la brasa. No es de lo más caro y los camareros son agradables. Cuidado a la hora de dejarse aconsejar por el vino. Mejor elegirlo personalmente para evitar sorpresas.

O Pescador is Portuguese traditional restaurant. It has cosy interior with a lot of pictures and items related to see and fishing on it's walls. This is a good place to try a local dishes. Fish is fresh, you can see what you will eat in a fridge near the entry.
Service is nice and pleasant.
We tried Portuguese style Sword fish and Octopus which were very good. Sward fish was stewed with a white wine sauce which was very tasty.

Première promenade à Cascais... Évidemment les prix ne sont pas les mêmes que dans le reste du Portugal, et ce restaurant est lui-même au dessus du lot mais le personnel est très compétent et efficace et la nourriture est excellente.
Nous avons pris une dorade de 800 g à 2. Avec l'entrée, le café, le dessert... 83 euros au total. On peut se faire plaisir de temps en temps.

Entramos para comer sardinha. Não tinha. O garçom diz que não pode pescar fora de época pq caçam o barco. Na porta consta no cardápio com informação que somente em época. Ora, se não é época não deve constar do cardápio e além do mais duvido que eles sirvam sempre sardinhas frescas! Comi em outro restaurante sardinha e estava ótima.

Péssimo atendimento, entendo que seja sabado, a verdade é que havia mesas vazias... e eram 15h00, vários funcionários a trabalhar... inaceitável 20 minutos para tentar fazer o pedido. Não houve a mínima preocupação, após várias tentativas de alerta, Cascais tem mais opções, assim se perdem clientes regulares.

Don’t know if this is a local thing, but no one asks you how you like the food or if everything is okay. Considering prices and location, I would have thought the service would be better and perhaps more attentive. If I order whole a bottle of water and the waiter sets it aside for him to pour, I’d expect him to notice I finished my drink. The restaurant was not busy when we went there.
Food was alright, octopus perhaps little bit overdone. My companion got only half of the order correctly - but realised after he was halfway through it, it wasn’t exactly what he ordered. But then again no one asked you if your food is okay. When I tasted his meal - it tasted a bit bland. There’s still room for improvement.

일단 불친절하고 (호객할 생각은 있지만 접객할 생각은 없습니다) 컵에서 물+생선 비린내가 납니다. 물을 시키면 사이즈를 묻지도 따지지도 않고 겁나 큰 병을 주는데 잔을 아무리 바꿔도 냄새가 나서 병나발을 물어야합니다. (요청사항은 겁나 싫어함)
음식은 너무 짜고 심지어 다른 식당에서 적어준 '소금 조금만 넣어주세요' 현지어를 보여주면서 요청했는데 얼굴에 짜증이 가득입니다. 원래 그런거 알지만 부탁한다 했고 궁시렁 거리면서 만든 음식은 소금이었습니다.
별 4점이상 간건데 후회막심에 체한 것 같습니다.

Recommended as the place to go in Cascais. It was OK but much cheaper and just as tasty alternatives elsewhere. Bacalhau is overrated and not just here. Fish always taste best when fresh! Sorry Portugal!

1.6kg Crab! Absolutely madness! This is an instutitional restaurant in Cascais. The service is 5 star and food delicious. Many celebrities in the past few decades have been eating here.

En fin fiskrestaurang längs en av gågatorna i Cascais. Ypperlig fisk och service, perfekt som lunchställe för att svalka sig i skuggan med ett glas vin och lite delikatesser. Personalen var vaken, kunnig och uppassande.
Vi delade en stor fisk på 12 pers. Barnen kunde välja på fisk/ris, hamburgare eller ett par andra rätter.

È il ristorante preferito dai vip. Dal Re Vittorio Emanuele a Galliani. Cibo ricercato, vini importanti, servizio impeccabile . Non è per tutte le tasche, ma O Pescator vale bene una messa.

Das war schon ziemlich Klasse, was da an Fisch geliefert wurde. Insbesondere der "Schwertfisch nach portugiesischer Art" war ein echter Genuss. Zuvorkommende Bedienung in gehobener Atmosphäre (und Preisen).

El lugar es recomendable, con una relación calidad precio bastante buena. Aunque el pulpo estaba un poco correoso, no es algo que recomendase. Se veía que los pescados eran frescos. El servicio fue amable y bastante agradable. Esta cerca del puerto pero no tiene vistas al mismo.

Underwhelming seafood and rushed service from a disinterested waiter, for these prices there must be better options. I had the spicy ginger shrimp which actually had very little flavor. Would have only given two stars but the wife had one of the two fishes of the day and enjoyed it.

Sehr gutes Essen: wir hatten Schwertfisch und Tintenfisch mit Shrimps. Man sollte hier deutlich vor 19:00 Uhr sein, oder vorher reserviert haben. Noch am Abend wurde frischer Fisch angeliefert. Wichtig: dieses Restaurant hat auch am Montag geöffnet. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Touristen-Zentrum und ist deshalb sehr ruhig. Sehr aufmerksames und zuvorkommendes Personal.

De très bonne entrées et plats (Accras de morue, Saumon, Sole). Cependant la sole n'était pas assez cuite à notre goût. Dommage.
Petits points positifs sympathiques : Les poissons frais sont en exposition en vitrines réfrigérées et les menus sont dispo en Anglais, Français, et bien d'autres langues.

Went to this restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend last night. Service was attentive and polite, but food really average. I ordered a seafood paella and with lobster and prawn. The seafood was very dry and super salty, particularly the lobster! The rice was dry and also overwhelmed with salt. I used to think it's very hard to go wrong with seafood as long as they are fresh, but this restaurant absolutely refreshed my knowledge. We paid 85 euros for something dry and salty, would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, at least stay away from their paella... They also tried to charge us something we didn't order, so watch out for your bill!

Nice seafood. I had fish soup (3,50€) and grilled Octopus (13,50€ - other standard mains are around 20€). Both nice, the Octopus could've been a bit more firm to the bite for my tast. Service was spot on.
