Juste magnifique!
Mes parents vivent non loin de Lisbonne et nous en avons testé des restaurants...
ici, du début à la fin, de l’accueil au café en passant par l’entrée, le plat, les desserts (4 pour trois car trooooo bons!!!!) et le vin!!!!! C’était magique!
Deux messieurs adorables et qui plus est parlent français!!! Prix qui vaut totalement ce que l’on a dans l’assiette!
Surtout ne changez rien! restez comme vous êtes!

È il ristorante dove ho mangiato meglio rispetto agli altri ristoranti di Lisbona. I piatti sono curati e molto ben presentati. Il locale è piccolo ma dispone anche di una piccola distesa all'aperto. È consigliato prenotare. Il personale è molto cordiale e discreto. Nota molto positiva è costituita dai servizi sanitari. Consigliatissimo. Chiuso la domenica sera.

A ne pas manquer sur Lisbonne. Certainement une des meilleurs adresses à des prix stupéfiants vu la qualité des plats. Comptez 15 à 17 euros le plat. Le Poulpe rôti... Amazing!

Amazing food, romantic ambiance, and reasonable prices. Easily could cost twice as much in the US for this quality of food. Highly recommended. Tried the kale soup, stuffed pepper with cod, octopus, and lamb chops. Everything was top notch.

Delicious authentic local food in a cosy environment. The staff were very friendly and keen to ensure we had everything we needed. The wine was local, delicious and very reasonably priced. Plenty of fish on the menu, and all of the ones we chose were amazing! Top marks.

Minha experiência foi incrível. De entrada pedimos cogumelos recheados que estavam deliciosos. De prato principal saboreei um bacalhau às natas, com uma apresentação impecável. A sobremesa também foi surpreendente. Recomendo muito!

Comida muy rica, bien presentada y abundante (con un plato comen dos). El restaurante está muy bien localizado en Barrio Alto. No le doy 5 estrellas por la atención de los camareros que fue muy regular.
El pulpo y el bacalao son excelentes.

Very good restaurant and excellent service! Very small so if you plan on eating early (they open at 1930) make a reservation, otherwise you may have to come back around 2100-2200 and hope for a table.

BEST OCTOPUS EVER! I could never give better compliments. I’ve read some reviews complaining about the availability and this is indeed the case, you should book in advance because it gets full very fast. I booked my table 2 days in advance. DELICIOUS food and shared kitchen with the restaurant aside (O Faia) where you would pay more than double for the same meal. Don’t think twice, BOOK and GO!!!! + very friendly staff! (I’ve been here 3 times and the octopus is always fabulous)

Same problem with solo travelers. These people had the whole restaurant EMPTY and the server told me that they were full and there was no room for me. And it was 10:30pm. What kind of service is this? Not a very welcoming one for sure. Probably this won't hurt their "reputation", but I really really really hope that they fall downhill on their steep street. Thanks for nothing.

Posto piccolino e intimo in una delle stradine del Bairro Alto. La cucina è creativa, i piatti molto buoni e i prezzi ottimi. Servizio attento e cordiale. Ci sono pochi tavoli, consiglio di prenotare, ma non sbagliate con il Faia, il locale proprio di fianco, stessa proprietà dove fanno cena con spettacolo di fado e i prezzi sono decisamente più alti

Tipico ristorante portoghese ma. Con gusti più raffinati. Ma soprattutto con prezzi accessibili. Abbiamo ordinato in 2 un piatto di insalata di sgombro marinato all'olio di oliva, avocado e arancia OTTIMO; salmone con patate e spinaci DELIZIOSO; una tartare di salmone PRELIBATO ed un dolce alle mele con gelato alla cannella DA LECCARSI I BAFFI. Per il modico prezzo di 48,30 centesimi compreso vino e acqua.
È tra i ristoranti del Portogallo con servizio più veloce. E la mise and place migliore Che abbia ricevuto.

Went here 10 minutes after they opened and they were “completely full” despite open tables. I’m a solo traveler and normally never have any issues, but this was downright rude. Wouldn’t even give a wait time. I walked 20 minutes here because of the good reviews, but can’t even get to try it

Repetiría sin duda. Buena comida, mas caro que el tipico restaurante de lisboa pero merece la pena con creces, todo delicioso.
Atención delicada. Restaurante pequeño y acogedor.
La raya, el pulpo y el bacalao son unos platos fabulosos.
Postres delicados y ricos.
Gran variedad de bebidas.
Tienen terraza fuera y en invierno pone calefactores.
Calle peatonal y muy concurrida, un pelín ruidosa.

For our final meal of our holiday, we chose this tiny restaurant. Actually, the good, authentic ones are usually tiny. Started with garlic prawns. And shared a very tasty dried salted cod Faia style, baked in mayo, mashed potato and onion sauce. They surprised us with a shrimp hidden in the cod. Finally, the thinly sliced, grilled black pork loin was surprisingly juicy yet crispy on the edges. A fitting end to our Portugal holiday.

Really nice atmosphere and staff. I highly suggest the octopus. Had an appetizer, 2 entrees, a glass of wine each and desert all for 65€ which I was a great deal for the level of food and service. Call ahead for a reservation around dinner time for sure!

Go here if you want to experience the real Portuguese food with a touch of modernity. The restaurant is really tiny, so reservation is always strongly recommended.
From the appetizers till the dessert you can never go wrong.
Try the “Piquillo” peppers stuffed with cod, saffron sauce and balsamic cream.
Then continue with Dried salted cod fish seared in olive oil, with tomato, fava beans and pork belly stew, sautéed spinach and corn bread crumble.
To finish with a spectacular dessert, “Farófias” – meringue boiled in milk with vanilla custard and caramelized walnuts.
As a drink pair a Portuguese wine and you cannot go wrong.
Strongly recommended and advised.

Ottimo polpo e vino di qualità. Locale piccolino se lo visitate d’inverno ma molto grazioso all’interno. Dolci non eccezionali ma nel complesso una buona cena. Situato ai piedi dell’alfama. Personalmente ho trovato di meglio agli stessi prezzi nelle vicinanze.

SPETTACOLARE! Ristorante come piace a me. Intimo e raccolto. Piatti curati e buonissimi. Il miglior polipo che abbiamo mai mangiato. Tenerissimo. Baccalà eccezionale. Zuppa di pesce molto delicata. Un particolare ringraziamento a Pedro per la simpatia, cortesia e i consigli.
Un posto dove tornerei più volte.

Consigliatissimo !! Ho cenato benissimo in questo ristorante. Conto un bel po' al di sopra della media portoghese ma ho trovato tutte le portate scelte buonissime!! Tranne forse un po' il dolce, una meringa sciolta in un latte, ma forse per i miei gusti è stata una scelta mia sbagliata!!

Шикарный уютный ресторан, на маленькой улице. Абсолютно не туристическое место, полностью забронирован. нам повезло был столик. Мы заказали рыбный суп, осьминога и салат с креветками. Что сказать, такого мы еще никогда не ели. Это полный гастро экстаз. Главное не перепутайте дверь с соседним рестораном, там цены в два раза выше )))

Amazing last meal in Portugal. We sampled from all around the menu, and EVERYTHING was fresh and superb. Everyone around us was commenting on how excellent their food was. This place is tiny— make a reservation, or simply stop in, if there’s a wait, put your name on the (short) list, and step across the street to one of several bars and have a drink. The service was excellent, the ambiance was good, and the bill was NOT overpriced at all. We would never be able to get a meal this great in the states for so little. I WILL be back. Just wonderful.

Perfect place for a late dinner!
Menu includes all traditional portugese dishes with a chef’s twist, everything is superdelicious and portions of food and drinks are really generous. Price’s are average for a city center. Service is great.
We’ve been here 2 times during our stay in Lisbon and haven’t got any negative experience. Highly reccomend!

I found this place based on google map rankings and after shortlisting and vising the place I manage to get a table (mind - Saturday night many places can be fully booked and you might need to wait for a long time to get a spare table - I managed to sit down in less than 45 mins!)... however, if you are prepared to wait, I could bet you will be fully repaid by an excellent food experience! Any plate, from the starter to the final port wine was excellent. The customer service was flawless and very professional. I really warmly recommend this place, I wish I could put a sixth star on it!

Elegant place that stands out from the tourist places around. Ambiance is cozy with Jazzy music and relieving from the noisy nearabouts outside. Food is tasty, portions are really large enough, prices affordable, and nice staff. You might need to make a reservation or take a walk around before there is room after they write down your name on the list. I recommend

Went here for a special occasion with my partner as it was recommended to us. I was however extremely disappointed. We ordered bread and truffle butter to start but it was unlike any truffle butter I had ever had, a bland white paste with no smell/taste of truffle. I then had the cod main with spinach and beans. The cod was overcooked (chewy) and was riddled with bones. This was sat on a bed of what appeared to be a full bag of tastless spinach. There was also meant to be a pork belly and bean stew however there appeared to be no pork at all. Said to the waiter about this and he said he would speak to the chef but I don't think he did. Giving two stars instead of one as my partner enjoyed her meal. Overratted and expensive for what it was.

Nous y sommes allés hier soir. Nous avons trouvé ça bon malgré le fait d'avoir du attendre une table 30 minutes. Nous reservons pour ce soir. Pas de table avant 10h30. Ni pour les soirs suivants. Nous reservons donc pour 10h30. Quand nous arrivons, nous attendons et on ne trouve rien de mieux que de nous dresser une table devant la porte, dans le passage. Même pas l'un en face de l'autre alors que d'autres tables sont dispos. Hallucinant. Nous sommes partis. Il est à noter que ce restaurant est relativement cher comparé aux restaurants alentours de même qualité. Service zéro.

Indubbiamente il miglior ristorante di pietanze portoghesi in cui ho mangiato a Lisbona. Si trova nel quartiere di Barrio Alto. Ottimi gli antipasti ( ne basta uno per due persone), il baccalà con la panna e il polpo arrosto che si scioglie in bocca. Pane e crostini sono serviti in un cestino ( prezzo 2,50 euro). Considerata l'abbondanza delle portate, è possibile mangiare in due ( come abbiamo fatto io e mio marito) un buon piatto di due pietanze, accompagnate da ottimi contorni compresi nel prezzo. Ottimi anche i dolci. Io consiglio la meringata. Prezzi nella media. La qualità è ben ripagata da qualche euro in più pagato rispetto ad altri ristoranti in cui non si mangia così bene. Cortese ed ineccepibile il sevizio. Ci sono tavolini anche all'aperto. Occorre prenotare almeno la mattina per la cena perché si tratta di un locale non molto grande. Graziosa la location. Un dieci e lode meritato.

Ho prenotato un tavolo per le 22.00 sono arrivata in ritardo di 20 minuti. il cameriere/titolare aveva ceduto il tavolo ad altri. la puzza sotto il naso. la scortesia per i clienti la dice lunga. in Italia non ho mai visto tanta scortesia. in questo locale non ci vengo più. voto ZERO perché manca la cultura dell'accoglienza. il titolare deve fare un corso di buone maniere. ne trarrebbe grande beneficio anche il locale.

Tried to walk in without reservation and ended up making one for an hour later. When we returned there was no available tables because some customers were taking their sweet time. They apologized and brought us out two very nice glasses of wine. After about 15 minutes of waiting they apologized further and set up a new table outside. The meals were beyond outstanding as was the service. Extremely happy we chose them for our night in Lisbon.

Cenamos dos noche, la primera lo encontramos por casualidad y la verdad que fue un auténtico acierto, la primera noche pedimos pimientos rellenos de bacalao, mi pareja se pidió pulpo a la brasa y yo bacalao a la faia, estaba buenísimo, el pulpo súper tierno y el bacalao buenísimo, los platos lo llenan bastante, salimos tan satisfechos que la misma noche reservamos para el día siguiente. Muy muy recomendable comida muy muy buena y muy buen servicio.

Looks nice and the staff were kind but what they gave me wasn't what I had ordered. And what they brought me wasn't amazing. My girlfriend had the eegplant vegetarian dish and I didn't enjoy it very much either. I would expect more from such a place.

Fantastic seafood in this restaurant at a great price and very well located in the city too. The portion sizes are large! I got a full octopus with potatoes and spinach for €18. You just wouldn't normally get anywhere near a full one so would have happily paid same price for a third of that size. Nice staff too

Sitio imprescindible en el Barrio Alto; probamos los champis rellenos de queso... buenísimos y de segundo bacalao con nata gratinado...espectacular. El sitio es monísimo, la atención inmejorable. Para repetir.

Les plats sont délicieux, on est sur de la grande cuisine, service excellent, les prix sont un peu plus élevés que la moyenne à Lisbonne mais au vu de la qualité et de la préparation des aliments cela est justifié.

Nice little restautant, excellent food and wine, kind service. I recommend it from the bottom of my heart. We had first course, second course and dessert. All three were very good: Seafood, meat, sweet eggs and - here you can get excellent vegetarian food!

Ottima esperienza, ristorante con pochissimi posti ma il cui proprietario é bravissimo a trovare soluzioni. Come da altre recensioni confermo che il polipo é sublime e va assolutamente provato. Non viene servito qualche pezzo di polpo ma un polpo intero a porzione (una porzione basta per due persone). Discreto assortimento di vini e ottima sangria. Per finire vale la pena di provare la gingia. Ottima soluzione.

Com certeza o melhor restaurante do bairro alto... Mas chegue cedo, ou reserve, pois tem poucas mesas e aos finais de semana quase impossível jantar aqui.

Phenomenal experience here at Versículo d’O Faia. It is a fine dining experience at a very reasonable price (average price per plate approximately 15 € ). The environment was intimate but not crowded, the food was superb, but the service really set this place above and beyond everything we have had in Lisbon.
Highly recommended. It’s worth a visit!

Petit restaurant (16 couverts) de spécialités portugaises. L'endroit est calme (jazzy) et la cuisine goûteuse et copieuse. Le service est impeccable. Parfait pour un dîner en amoureux.

Tout petit restaurant dans le petites rues animées entre chiado et bairo alto. Le gerant/serveur est très gentil. La cuisine délicieuse, plats copieux.
