Un très bon restaurant dans le cœur de Lisbonne avec une décoration consacré à la pêche..très agréable,calme et chaleureux. les tarifs sont plutôt élevés pour l'idée que l'on se fait du Portugal, mais le poisson est de qualité donc à faire. Bravo !

Nice food. My favorite was the codfish butter served with a small drum of soft goat cheese. extraordinary. The scallops were wonderful. Service was fantastic.

We read about this restaurant in the New York Times. The 36 hours in lisbon article mentioned various plates to get. As such, we ordered the same food and found the food to be subpar at best. It was overpriced and pretty bland. In addition, they were not forthcoming about the price of grilled fish, which was priced per kg. To summarize, it was not good. There are MUCH better restaurants in Lisbon.

Incredible grilled fish, lovely ceviche, amazing service! Was great for kids And an all around great experience. It was expensive for Portugal, but worth it. Octopus carpaccio, bass ceviche, grilled wild sea bass were it favorites.

The freshness of the seafood can be easily tasted and enjoyed. The flavours of the food permeate the soul and leave unforgettable impressions. The staff is not only nice and polite, but anticipate every need and are extremely helpful. The deserts are perfectly balanced and exceptionally presented. The decorations remind us of tradition, but also of the current aesthetics.

O melhor "ceviche" que já comi. Comemos um de corvina e um de lavagante depois dividimos uma moqueca de camarão, que pra mim estava mais para bobó, mas que foi também excelente. A sobremesa foi uma torta de caramelo sublime. Só não dou 5 estrelas por causa do serviço. Apesar do pessoal simpático e sorridente, é apressado demais, mal estávamos se acomodando na mesa que a garçonete começou a nos explicar o menu, eu ainda estava de pé tirando minha jaqueta, 1 minuto mais tarde já queria anotar o pedido, não paravam de encher nossos copos de vinho apesar de não estarem vazios. Os petiscos antes da entrada estavam pela metade e já queriam retirar. Ao pedir conselho ao sommelier ele nos propos de cara um vinho de + ou - 45 euros, o que para Portugal é caríssimo, mesmo num restaurante gastronômico. Percebemos que na sala tinha um cara que devia ser o maître d’hôtel que botava a maior pressão no pessoal. A comida é excelente, mas na minha casa também é.....vou a restaurantes desse nível para ter uma experiencia mais completa.

Underwhelming and excessively priced. This place has an appealing menu of ceviches and different seafood items, but appears to be turning into something of a tourist trap since they were featured in The NY Times. Right away, they charged us a cover of 15.50 Euros (for bread, olives, etc) for three people, which is astronomical compared with the typical charge of 3 Euros or so. We ordered a seabass special and they replaced the fish with another, without informing us or adjusting the price. We liked a couple of things (the salmon ceviche, razor clams) but others were underwhelming or consisted of tough, poorly selected cuts of fish (tuna belly ceviche, seabass ceviche). Wine recommendation was good. Overall, there are better options and certainly better values for seafood in Lisbon.

Es un sitio de pescado en Campo de Ourique. Muy buena calidad pero los precios son muy elevados para los estándares de Lisboa. Probamos el pulpo y el tartar de atún, ambos excelentes. El servicio podría mejorar un poco aunque son educados. El local es bonito. Se puede repetir pero sin una aplicación de ofertas tipo el tenedor el precio se puede desmadrar fácilmente.

Tres bon restaurant de poissons et crustacés. Service sympathique. Juste 2 reproches, la lumière de la salle du haut en rentrant est un peu trop forte et les tables étant très rapprochées le niveau sonore monte très vite en décibels. JM Pactet.

Delicious food and friendly staff! A must go when you're in Lisboa and love to eat fish. We shared the carpaccio de polvo, marinated salmon with passion fruit, shrimps with garlic and marinated brass. You have to discover the salmon with passion fruit! Would definitely come back.

soup - good. tomato salad - nice. cod - perfect. rice with shellfish - good, little bit salty. we got our food after a while, and got our desert for free, thanks :-) waiter was very very nice and gave really good service. for some reason, host added bread for 2.5€ just before printing the bill. luckily we noticed and got that removed. also the entrees (8€ worth) at the beginning are unnecessary.

Lovely room. Great service. Food was not as good as expected. Razor clams seemed undercooked but perhaps that is the way they are eaten in Portugal. Tuna was good. Shrimp and squid rice could have been amazing but far too salty.

Wow. We had 3 different raw/marinated fish for appetizers. Our main dishes were grilled octopus and shrimp. One of the appetizers was tuna---it was completely tender/melt-in-the-mouth with a lively mango sauce. Even top restaurants (including sushi places) in large cities in the US rarely have tuna this good. I commented that it's nearly impossible to get shrimp better than what we had here. My SO pointed out that there was a 3-star (Michelin) in Spain that had better shrimp. That sums it up nicely. Octopus had a nice crust without being charred. The only dish that wasn't perfectly seasoned was a dish of vegetables. They kindly brought us a jar of salt to correct. Nice wine. Excellent service. This restaurant alone is a reason for a trip to Lisbon.

Looked for Portuguese fine dining, Peixaria da Esquina was on the top of my search list. I have read some reviews from previous customers, some of them mentioned the freshness and high quality of the food they provide, so I decided to go here for a try. One of the staffs friendly welcomed me at the entrance of the restaurant and told me that I had to wait around 40mins, which was ok. But actually I waited over 1 hour (the smell of the cooking and dishes were punching my mind and my stomach, I'm so hungry). The restaurant integrates its own kitchen and all table within a very small place, all cooking are finished in the middle of the room. The place makes me comfortable with its great atmosphere, clean and engaging. I ordered three dishes, fried cuttlefish with lemon, bulhao pato, and prawn and squid rice (1 person). The food was not valuable enough compared to other restaurants I have tasted in Lisbon, three dishes and 1 water for 65 EUR. The taste of the food doesn't meet my expectation, especially for bulhao pato and prawn rice. The taste of the bulhao pato is so weird due to its bitter flavour (I have eaten bulhao pato in Macau, it is perfect); the prawn rice is extremely salty, and the rice itself is too firm to chew ( actually they forgot my rice, and they cooked it in the light speed--the restaurant was about to be closed). Before I left the restaurant, it was almost at midnight, and I bring the rest of rice back to my place to cook for myself. Only two stars can be given to the experience in this restaurant. Recommendation: 1. If you don't like salty food, it is better to go to other places. 2. Make reservation before you go. 3. Don't go there in a late night.

Oferece um misto de petiscos ou pratos que não me parece muito claro, que até poderia ser simples se todos o staff esclarecesse. Ficamos por entradas e marinados, todos muito bem confeccionados. Para sobremesa toucinho do céu com morangos, muito original. Sentimos que o ambiente é disponibilidade para o cliente não acompanha a qualidade da cozinha, por isso o preço médio parece exagerado.

De la bière fraîche, des produits de la mer tout aussi frais (avec des poissons tout droit sortis des aquariums qui ornent le restaurant), une bonne maîtrise de la cuisine et un lieu plus que recommendable.
