Comida muito boa!!! Staff muito simpático e prestativo. Local limpo e arejado!!!!
Mesmo em frente ao Miradouro de Santa Luzia para poder usufruir de uma bela vista depois de uma boa mesa!!!

Bardzo smaczne jedzenie i piwo. Lokal ciekawie położony, trochę z dala od ścisłego centrum, aczkolwiek znajdziecie go na trasie słynnego klimatycznego tramwaju. Profesjonalna obsługa!
Stylowe miejsce, mające swój klimat.
Na pewno warto odwiedzić będąc w Lizbonie.

We went to Foral twice while in Lisbon. It's so authentic and local. It was the best meal we had in Alfama, and their wine was spectacular. Our server Jose Antonio was attentive and precise. If you're in Lisbon be sure to stop in.

Dopo aver preso lo storico 28,( il bus per intenderci) ci siamo fermati sul più bel miradouro, vista spettacolare ed un quartiere molto caratteristico.Al tramonto si siamo fermati in questo grazioso ristorante.Abbiamo mangiato dell'ottimo baccalà, buon vino, ottimo dolce ed un simpatico cameriere di origine italiana. Ci siamo tornati anche la sera successiva, utilizzando sempre il solito 28. Attenzione gli stuzzichini a inizio pasto non sono gratuiti, li portano in tutti i ristoranti ma si pagano .

Lieux à la décoration portugaise assez sympa, mais nous avons trouvé les prix un peu excessif par rapport à la qualité : plats bons mais vraiment sans plus, je pense qu’on peut trouver mieux sur Lisbonne.

A lot of the time when a restaurant calls itself "authentic" it can be a questionable experience, but Farol proved me wrong. We came in early at around 7:30 and found seating for 4 with no problem, but later the restaurant was full. Every dish (octopus, steak and cod fish) was liked my myself and my family. We were also reccomended a bottle of wine to everyone's liking. The staff was friendly, attentive and quick. For desert we had the souffle and the creme brulee, again both of which proved very satisfying without being too much.

A refeição começou logo bem com o couvert, por duas razões. Era óptimo! Manteiga artesanal simples e com saber a alho, azeite bom para molhar o pão quentinho e torrado e umas azeitonas. Além disso fizeram um trocadilho interessante em que chamaram o couvert de "o q'houver" na ementa.
Comi um polvo que estava simplesmente divinal! Rigo e crocante por fora e bem cozido por dentro.
No final comi umas bolinhas de melão com vinho do Porto.
Achei o ambiente acolhedor e o atendimento bom. Um bocado demasiado caro para o meu bolso mas o preço compensa a qualidade dos pratos.

Good place to stop for dinner. You should know that the bread in the begging is not complementary ;) the salad was tasty, wine was great. The service was fast and the staff is friendly. If you already got hungry on the beautiful miradouros nearby, this is your go-to place. One other watch out, the tram 28 going by is blocking all the light every few minutes, that can be districting for some :)

Dans un lieu calme et charmant, vous êtes accueilli et servi par un personnel courtois et souriant. Quant la cuisine... Salade de poulpe, cataplana pour deux et un succulent vin blanc. Une invitation au retour dans ce restaurant authentique. Je recommande chaudement.

Bel localino, mangiato molto bene piatti della tradizione rivisitati in chiave attuale. Personale sorridente e simpatico. Unico neo ci han fatto pagare il couvert: pane, olive schiacciate, olio e paté non richiesto; per contro ci siamo fatti offrire il liquore alla ciliegia: ginjnha! Noi abbiamo speso €. 32 /cad. In 6 abbiamo bevuto n. 2 bottiglie di vino che han fatto salire il prezzo, comunque locale consigliato.

We had dinner here after being advised by our hotel. The place is small and characteristic. The staff is gentle, fast and very kind. We had the best food of the entire Lisbon. My octopus was amazing, my husband’s baccalà was tasty and so different. I highly recommend to come and eat here.

It was realy bad. I ordered octopus that was totaly chewy... I had the fish soup... no fish. I had the cod fish that was too salty. The shrimps were nice. For desert I had the pine aple with madera wine that was just ok. When sitted I got some bread butter and olives that I did not ordered but was charged for that .... well .... I will not recomand this place.

Sehr freundlicher Service, aber Essen eine reinste Katastrophe. Die Vorspeise war so.... der Hunger treibs rein und der Hauptgang ohh mein Gott.... Was ist das meine Frau hatte ein Risotto was eher eine Reissuppe war glaube die wissen nur wie Risotto geschrieben wird mehr aber auch nicht, es war überhaupt sehr schlecht gewürzt. Ich hatte was mit Schweinefleisch, Kartoffeln und Miesmuscheln was MIR auch vom Kellner empfohlen wurden ist, sag nur wie kann ein Gericht so schlecht sein keine ahnung was der Koch sich dabei gedacht hat oder wie es aussah und geschmeckt hat eher eine Kreation von der Küchehilfe. Ich weiß nicht wie die auf so viele Sterne kommen, bin selber geschockt. Bin selber Küchenchef und schreibe normalerweise nie so schlecht aber das war echt nicht gut sorry. Ich empfehle es nur wenn man kurz vom verhungern ist.

Excellent although a typically Portuguese restaurant full of delicious fish plates .. I took my chances and opted for the stuffed chicken OMG, best chicken breast ever! We also had the fish soup and it was just PERFECT!

Fine food in a fine place.
The restaurant is cozy and very well decorated; the walls with the characteristics Portuguese tiles are really nice to see and make the atmosphere.
The waiters were welcoming and attentioned.
Food was delicate and fresh. Less salty than average Portoguese kitchen. Recommend for couples as the place seems designed to be romantic.

Excellent fresh seafood in our Cataplana, lightly flavoured soup is such a delight after too much salty food in Spain. Service is great, sangria came in a jug.

We ate Cataplana with a half bottle of the white wine. We couldn't order more because the Cataplana here should be ordered for 2 people. Except that, we liked the food very much especially because the taste was less salty than ordinary Portuguese food.Good service, nice food. Recommended!

Great traditionnal food, good service, good wine! Crowd was half tourists half locals so you get a good feel of the Lisboa dinning experience. Plus, you get a nice view of the city if you simply cross the street after dinner.

Erg vriendelijke bediening en het eten was prima. Ik wilde mijn rundvlees rood, wat meestal mislukt, maar hier waren ze wel heel dichtbij. Het vlees was zo mals als ik nog nooit op het Iberisch schiereiland gehad heb, super! Het was carnaval, dus ik was blij dat ze open waren. Het hotel (Convento do Salvador) had het me aanbevolen en dat was ik blij mee. Aanrader!

Amazing salted Cod. The restaurant is so lovely as well. Just watch out for the bread, they put it on the table and it seems as if it is complimentary but it actually costs 4€. Not the greatest vegetarian options but good desert.

My girlfriend and I went here last night and were disappointed. I ordered the grilled cod, but it was dry and way overdone. The whole dish was swimming in a pool of olive oil.
My girlfriend ordered the steak which was less than an inch thick and also way over cooked.
To top the evening off, the bread they bring to the table at the beginning of the meal was not complementary, which we were not aware of until the check arrived.

After five years is still a great place where to have a lunch or dinner with some Portuguese dishes. The dishes are not too much elaborated yet very simple but really good with distinct flavours of the raw materials. Strongly recommended and advised that you book a table to avoid any disappointment.

다른거 안시키고 이것랑 음료만 추가로 주문했다.
처음엔 음.. 이게 2인분인가 헀는데 밥이랑 감자를 주는데
먹어도 새우랑 조개가 참많다 일단 맛있다! 해물밥이랑 또 다른 맛

Great family restaurant. Everything was tasty, from the shrimp, to the mussels, pork, and potatoes. As is the custom in Portugal, they offer bread/butter/olives at the beginning of the meal -- you can choose to pay for them, or not. We gladly paid. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

We just left this restaurant few hours ago. It was our worst gastronomic experience in Lisbon.
We ordered “Lombo de bacalhau à Lagareiro” it is a
grilled salty cod fillet with small potatoes baked in their jackets, olive oil flavored with garlic.
The codfish came to our table not grilled but burned, tasteless and tons of garlic. Definitely we will not return .

Отличный португальский ресторан с традициями и очень вкусной едой, приятным и внимательным персоналом, но при этом ненавязчивым. Очень понравилось, что официант предложил закуски, а не стал их сразу ставить на стол, как это часто делается в других кафе. Мы отказались. Когда он увидел, что мы долго выбираем блюдо, подошёл и посоветовал, что нам лучше заказать. Это был рис с морепродуктами по типу ризотто и мясо с ракушками и картофелем в потрясающем соусе (алентежанское блюдо, но я не помню название). Еда была великолепной! Что ещё важно для меня - туалеты были чистыми! Расположение отличное, рядом со смотровой площадкой. Персонал и обслуживание великолепные. Цены адекватные за большие порции: 2 блюда, бутылка вина и кофе за 50 евро. С удовольствием вернулась бы.

Gemütliches Restaurant mit guter Eenheimischer Küche
Wir sind ohne Reservierung ins Restaurant und bekamen eine kleinen und gemütlichen Tisch. Die Speisekarte auf portugiesisch und englisch ist gut sortiert. Alle Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und gut abgeschmeckt.

What an amazing dinner! First, I’d like to say that most of the bad reviews this place has here are due to the fact that people are not familiar with Portuguese dining. Bread, cheese, olives, etc. are not free. The waiter will offer it to you and if you accept it, you pay. If you politely decline, you will not be charged. This is the same for all Portuguese restaurants, in general. This is not the fault of the restaurant and should not tarnish their reviews.
Secondly, what a great menu! My fiancé and had the bread, olive oil, butter, and olives starter, which was great! Ours came with two different types of bread. We also had the pork with clams and potatoes as well as the chicken stuffed with chorizo which came with spinach and potatoes. We also ordered a side of rice and a pitcher of Sangria (red). For dessert, we had the rice pudding. As someone of Portuguese descent, the food is traditional with a bit of a modern twist! Well-seasoned, cooked well, and good sized portions.
Service was quick and they have a friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend and am considering going again before we leave to go home!!

Excellent Portuguese menu, we had fish chowder followed shrimp risotto, shrimp starter followed by grouper. Each was perfect of its type. Wine and water all good. Be aware that wine is only by the half or full bottle, not by the glass.
Service was excellent and quick even though the restaurant was totally full.

It was a great experience! They were so kind and considerate. Especially for taking away, they even included butter and olive for wine snack! What a nice guys! And it's super close to the Miradouro!! Dayum!

Assolutamente da provare! Ambiente carino. Abbiamo mangiato polpo arrostito su verdure e dei gamberi veramente buoni, bevuto un rosé in bottiglia molto buono. Due dolci e un bicchiere di porto. Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Personale gentilissimo. Facilissimo da raggiungere con il tram 28.

The food was excellent (especially the octopus and the risotto) but beware of the "O qu' houver." If you don't speak Portuguese, they will bring it to your table without asking (as if it's a free starter) and then charge you for it. It wasn't expensive but I don't appreciate being charged for something I didn't order. I also don't appreciate the clear discrimination of tourists. When confronted, the waiter did remove this from the bill but when we asked why he asked the table next to us if they wanted this starter and not us, his response was "they speak Portuguese." A bit of shady business but again, the food was good.

Very tasty local restaurant, genuine some how. we were a family (2 adults/2kids). we went for Clams & Mussels as a starter and then Steak/eggs french fries with a nice garlic sauce for the kids. just lovely and perfect size portion. Really good codfish dish, but upfront bread was dry and not really tasty. Moreover, I had to pay for it even that I have not ordered it. From Germany I am used to free bread upfront. 25€ for codfish, dry, not wanted bread and water.

Godna polecenia knajpa z prawdziwą kuchnią portugalską. Obiad dla 2 osób , z winem, przystawkami i zupami to koszt 35 euro. Wcale nie mało, ale w Centrum taniej nie będzie, a tu było super smacznie.

Comida tipicamente portuguesa virada para os turistas com um toque de classe a um preço acessível, o espaço é acolhedor e os empregados sao bastante simpáticos simpáticos. Fomos jantar a um sábado e éramos os únicos portugueses, claramente é um sitio super popular com os turistas.
As entradas eram deveras pequenas para o preço praticado mas tudo muito saboroso.

Great atmosphere and main course of cartaplarsa de Carne a Farol was simply delicious. Its a dish for 2 with a steaming pot of prawns and pork and clams in a tasty broth made with lardons, chorizo and coriander. Would have been a five but the deserts of creme brulee Portuguese style and a Portuguese soufflé were OK, but perhaps our expectations were too high

I had a great dinner here! Cozy restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices! We had the bread/olive oil/olives, mussels, grouper, and pork with clams, pineapple in Madeira wine and rice pudding, all of which were fantastic! We were lucky enough to get in without a reservation, but I would highly recommend making one ahead of time especially since they take online reservations through the Fork. Our meal came to 60 euros (with 1/2 bottle of wine and 2 whiskey’s). It felt like a steal for the quality of the food!

This was recommended by Trip Advisor, we made early reservations via The Fork. The food was delicious and very friendly staff, traditional Portuguese cuisine. We had cod, squid, prawns, steak and two bottles of wine. Just $180, very good value for the quality of food and service IMO. My Portuguese friend joined and was impressed - I’d recommend you try!

We found this restaurant by chance and were lucky enough to get a table without having a reservation. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the ambiance was cozy and not too loud even though the place was packed. My husband had the chicken stuffed with sausage and I had the salt cod over roasted potatoes. The presentation was elegant and the flavors were excellent. In addition, we enjoyed the warm, fresh bread served with butter or spicy olive oil and the herbed olives, and we had a nice bottle of white wine and split a dessert. The meal was only 47 euros total, what a great value! Our best meal so far in Lisbon, we highly recommend it.

Best restaurant I've been to in Lisbon. It was very cozy and romantic in my opinion. We started off with some bread and olives of course and vegetable soup. We decided to get seafood which was a great choice as the grilled calamari was scrumptious and the octopus soft and delightful. We paired it with a white wine. For dessert we had créme de leite which was pretty much créme brulée. Delicious. We enjoyed ourselves very much as the food was wonderful, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was top.

We found this place when we were seriously hungry and we really enjoyed our dinner here! We had shrimp soup, octopus salad and grilled squid with steamed veggies snd everything was delicious. The olives were also great and we had some nicely chilled white wine. The waiter was nice and the restaurant has a pleasant portuguese vibe. They have a really good menu, it was quite difficult to choose something, because we just wanted to order everything.

Food was Ok, octopus was really delicious and well cooked. The place is cosy but styled (portugese tiles on walls etc). The only thing that bothered us was the way they serve water - in plastic bottles, just as from the shop, and soft drinks - in cans... so this spoils the overall experience quite badly when you have 1.5l plastic bottle on your table :)

Cuisine très décevante et très quelconque.
La morue est trop salée, les ingrédients utilisés de qualité trop moyenne. Les gambas n'ont pas de goût , les pommes de terre non plus.
Des plats joli à l'oeil mais la qualité gustative n'est pas au rendez-vous.
L'accueil, lui est parfait. Le personnel est gentil et attentif.

Friendly staff, nice wine! But the main dish wasn't special at all. Shrimps and pork were dry, clamps and chorizo okay. Overall not worth the 27 euros for 2 persons. On the other hand, the desserts were good!

Nice, cozy inside with friendly server. Foods are very healthy, full of flavours of fresh matural ingredients, yet fascinating. Price is little bit high; 3 of us had one seafood dish(for 2 people), one fried pork with clams, two souffles, and 3 beers and the price was 56 euros. Highly recommend this place. Don't hesitate!!!

Found this restaurant whilst taking a late walk from our accommodation in Alfama. A really nice restaurant with great portugeuse food and good service. We had a good evening here. Really nice ambiance inside. Recommended.

Nice environment, very clean and friendly staff. On the pricey side, by Lisbon's standard, but I guess that nice ambience comes with a price.
We ordered the pork with clams. The taste ion the sauce is very good, however I find the pork a little too dry and worse, the clams have sand...
The mushroom asparagus is heavenly, have 'wok hei'. Very nice indeed.
I don't mind coming back another time, but will try other dishes.

I always ended up in Faro and Albufeira, never Lisbon, and was really disappointed when I couldn't find Carne de Porco à Alentejana anywhere in Lisbon, until I found this gem very close to my house. Could've been better if clams were more lavishly used, but still very satisfying overall.

Wir waren im Farol de Santa Luzia zum Abendessen und haben es nicht bereut.
Zu zweit haben wir das Cataplana Peixe Farol bestellt ein Fischeintopf mit Muscheln, Fisch, Garnelen, Tomaten und Paprika in einer leckeren würzigen Soße/Suppe.
Es war ein Gedicht. Dazu kamen als Beilage Reis sowie gebackene Kartoffelwürfel. Das Essen schmeckte frisch, leicht und von der Menge her war es mehr als genug für uns beide.
Sehr gerne werden wir bei einem weiteren Besuch in Lissabon nochmal hierhin gehen.

Great food. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Restaurant has a relaxed vibe which we enjoyed - we don't like places that are too fancy. Food portions were large. We ordered the clams, chicken breast and a fish dish. I would recommend to people in the alfama area.

Soubemos desse restaurante por meio dos aplicativos Google/Trip. É necessário ter atenção quanto ao horário de funcionamento e, se possível, ao horário de pico fornecido pelo Google (restaurante enche muito rápido).
Funcionário atencioso, comida de qualidade e com menu em inglês.
O entorno do restaurante é bem movimentado e com a linha de bonde 28E passa na porta do restaurante (ponto quase em frente).
Obs: o arroz doce merece destaque

Very good restaurant with nice atmosphere. Even suitable for children because of the good food. They serve the best traditional food made in a modern way. I have never had such a perfect made bacalao, and the dessert reminds me about my grandma, but with a more sofisticated touch. All five of us were very satisfied when we left the place. Recomended indeed!

Fui durante muito tempo cliente assídua deste espaço. Mudaram de gerência e deixei de ir tanto . Os preços também mudaram um pouco e agora creio que são mais turísticos . O pessoal é uma simpatia e a comida em geral boa . Adoro a sopa de tomate com ovo ! Talvez o que mais gosto destas local ....

A comida é óptima, tradicional portuguesa vem muito bem confeccionada. O espaço é muito giro entre o tipico e moderno, acompanhado por musica ambiente bem escolhida. O atendimento é "porreiro" com os empregados a fazerem nos sentir parte da casa!
