Divino Sospiro

Cozinha confeccionada com cuidado e atenção. Paella de arroz negro realmente de primeira qualidade com camarões e choco cozinhados com qualidade ímpar. Salada de ovas, muito boa também. O mesmo não se pode dizer para as entradas, pão com tomate e presunto e croquetes. Preço, infelizmente, demasiado caro. Para esse preço tudo deveria ter alta qualidade, e assim não é. Empregados, atenciosos.

After not being able to dine on our first attempt due to the waitlist, we came back the second night and were seated rather quickly. We had high expectations due to great reviews, but the overall experience was rather disappointing mainly for the time it took to be served. It took more than an hour for a waiter to acknowledge us by taking our order. We spent half our time waiting for the food rather enjoying the ambience. For a restaurant that receives high praise, this restaurant didn’t live up the hype. More focus should be placed on the customer so that every customer feels attended to equally.

La paella più buona che io abbia mai mangiato, così buona che in due abbiamo mangiato una porzione per 5/6 persone. Inoltre, nonostante sia open kitchen, non si sente nessun cattivo odore di frittura o altro.

O único ponto negativo é a dimensão do espaço que obriga a uma espera longa . Depois de estar sentado é só desfrutar dum excelente cardápio . Muitíssimo bom .

Wonderful food wonderful petiscos. Went here on a hunch. Was not dissapointed. the food was so good we had to go back again. especially the tuna tartare patata bravas tempura squid and the chocolate mousse and strawberry dessert with port cream was out standing. You can not reserve a table so to avoid the long queue aim to be there before 18.30. Enjoy :-)

Eat, drink, repeat... and yes, it is worth waiting outside for (with a drink in hand) or coming early! Tapisco is no longer a secret, but still great. Excellent service for locals and visitors alike — unless they don’t get it. Some of the signature dishes take a while to cook, but that’s part of the experience.

Not very tasty.. too expensive for what they serve, and no flexibility what so ever. I wanted little green pepers that they serve with a non-vegeterian dish.. on the side, i said i would pay for that (i mentioned i cant eat the meat) - but they refused. The olives (small starter) was fine. The rest was OK to not really tasty.

No more! Fake restaurant! Podprumerne jidlo. Nechapeme oznaceni Michelin primo na vstupu do restaurace. Matouci a pouze lakadlo pro turisty! Drzost! Zneuzivani oznaceni Michelin, ktere nepatri teto restauraci, ale kuchari v jinych podnicich! Nejvetsi omyl v Lisabonu. Predrazena kantyna s jidlem na podprumerne urovni, bez zajimave chute a napadu! I zacatecnik si uvari doma lepe!

We would usually would never queue to get in a resturant, but with a no booking policy for dinner here, it is the only option. And with a super efficient cocktail/bar server, it was a pleasure. Drinks are served through a hatch onto the street and add to a clubby feel while waiting for a table. Once in and seated, the food comes as it is ready, again usually a pet hate of mine, but seems to work here. Food and service were excellent, best we had in Lisbon, which is saying something as pretty much all a good standard. Definitely worth the queue!

Nous sommes arrivé un lundi à 13h30 nous avons pu trouver une place pour 2 facilement. Service de qualité. Je recommande vivement les papatas bravas (attentions il y a de la sauce piquante mais vous pouvez demander à la mettre a part). Agréablement surprise par ce restaurant.

O @tapisco.pt, confesso, é um daqueles lugares que me parecem suspeitos, como se estivesse prestes a virar uma franquia padronizada em qualquer canto do mundo. É moderninho, fica no Príncipe Real e traz a boa e velha gema , ícone moderno da gastronomia instagramica 'fica bem na foto.' no topo do prato. Furar a gema e envolve-la no bacalhau é algo que simplesmente poderia ter sido feito na cozinha, mas nós humanos parecemos nos regorgizar com tal gesto e fazer a mistureba. Talvez um prazer infantil relativo a época em que nos era permitido brincar com a comida usando as mãos. O fato é que o Bacalhau a Brás do Tapisco é muito bom. Depois da remexida ele vira aquele confort food que tanto se fala por aí. Já ouvi muito dizer que em Lisboa você entra em qualquer tasca e come um bom bacalhau a Brás. Não é bem assim, já comi alguns requentados por ai, prato que chegou a mesa em menos de 2 minutos do pedido. No fim fiquei feliz por aguardar 15 minutos no Tapisco. Desta vez veio quentinho. Prova de que o moderno, mesmo em Lisboa, pode não ser assim tão mal assim.

Gezellig restaurant met sharing dishes. Lekkere verse zaken voor correcte prijzen, iets hoger dan gemiddeld in Lissabon, maar de kwaliteit is ook hoger. Kroketten met Iberico ham zijn niet aan te raden, alle andere zaken die we geproefd hebben waren top!

Fuimos motivados por las críticas tan buenas, pero nuestra experiencia no lo fue. Lo mejor: el lugar es muy "cool", nos recibieron correctamente, nos contaron el concepto del restaurante y los camareros muy agradables explicaban cada plato q trajeron. Lo peor: precio desorbitado y comida nada fuera de lo normal. 70€ para 2 personas por 3 tapas, 2 copas de vino y un vermut. Copas de vino blanco bastante vulgar de 4,5€ a 6,5€ la copa. Tapas de 15€ a 30€... Y muy corrientes. No las pedimos pero tenían tapas de patatas fritas con dos huevos fritos encima y una loncha de jamón serrano... A 20 y tantos euros. Precio de tapas de cocina de autor para unas tapas muy corrientes (algunas de bar de carretera). Esperamos 40 minutos para entrar pero nos avisaron de antemano de ello. Tienen una barra fuera para tomar bebidas mientras esperas. No repetiríamos.

Me ha gustado mucho. El personal de sala es muy amable y formado profesionalmente, nos asistieron con la carta, conocen los vinos y platos, y nos ayudaron con temas de alergias. El local es cómodo y de buen gusto, la verdad es que la pasamos muy bien. Las raciones son generosas y buenos precios. Entre 3 comiendo a reventar, postre y botella de vino, 30€por barba. Buena elección para el local y visitante, quizás para el público español es algo que vería en España. #recomendar

We had a great experience at Tapisco. On our first visit we only tries the street-front bar, which is a great idea to have. The do very nice cocktails and have a selection of gin&tonics too. Next dey we went back to have a dinner and Tapesco didn't disappoint. The space is small so either arrive early or be prepared to wait at the bar.

Service was great and food was even better! Grabbed a drink at the bar window to sip outside while we waited for a table. Only waited maybe 15 minutes for two seats at the bar at 9pm on a Sunday night. We were right by the food service area and got to watch all the dishes go out to tables. The chocolate mousse for dessert was one of the best things I've eaten!

리스본의 타파스 레스토랑. 미슐랭 플레이트를 받은곳입니다. 인테리어가 아주 예쁘고 직원들도 친절합니다. 자리는 테이블석과 바로 구분되어 있고 바에 앉으면 쉐프가 요리하는 모습을 구경할 수 있습니다. 가격도 그리 비싸지 않은편입니다. 늦게가면 기다릴수 있으니 예약을 하거나 일찍 방문하는 것을 추천합니다.

This is one of the most amazing places I have ever been too. The food here is outstanding and the ambiance is lovely. They don’t have many tables to offer, walk-in to this place is quite difficult. A reservation is highly recommended. Talking about the food here, I don’t know where do I start from, its unbelievable. The steak here was cooked to perfection, medium rare is what was ordered & its the best that I have ever had. Octopus, Tuna, Salmon, Prawns, etc were a few other dishes amongst the few ordered & they all were so different and delicious. Chocolate moose was one of the ordered dessert and that too was outstanding. I would definitely be visiting this place the next I visit Lisbon. Highly recommended.

Simply amazing service and food, came across this gem while looking for somewhere to eat. Everything was tasty from the tomato bread to the creme brulee. When we left the queue was out the door service was fast and staff had their finger on the pulse at all times. Definitely worth a visit you won't be disappointed. I suggest you get there before 7:30 to save on waiting time.

We (2 Australian couples) stopped at this restaurant by mistake as the one we wanted to eat at was full - thank goodness for that. What we savoured were the most delicious morsels of food - the tomato bread, the potatoes, the croquettes, just some of the amazing food we devoured. The chocolate nero mousse was out of the world! Do yourself a gastronomic favour when you’re in Lisbon and eat here - you’ll kick yourself if you don’t! Ps: the staff were oh so friendly and the service was spot on.

Só bom e apetitoso... Restaurant de tapas ibériques. Les prix sont élevés mais la qualité et le service sont là pour les justifier. Les plats sont fins, il ne faut pas s'attendre à n'en prendre qu'un (ce sont des tapas). J'ai beaucoup apprécié le fait d'être devant les cuisiniers, c'est un vrai spectacle en plus d'être appétissant ! Je recommande les places au niveau du comptoir (moins prisées que les places en salle et beaucoup plus intéressantes).

Não chegámos à parte do aperitivo. O rapaz que estava a atender no 'bar à janela' fez o favor de nos ignorar 3 vezes e quando finalmente nos ouviu, pedimos a carta de vinhos (garrafa e não copo) teve uma atitude de desconsideração e arrogância. Esta atitude conseguiu ser mais visível quando decidimos ir embora e que retirassem o nome da lista de espera. Lamentávelmente é um serviço que tenho vindo a receber com mais frequência na zona centro de Lisboa, não quero atribuir qualquer tipo de responsabilidade ao facto de ser portuguesa, se é que me faço entender. A quem de dever, que leia este comentário, quando os turistas forem para as suas casas, eu continuo a ser uma portuguesa a viver e consumir em Portugal.

Un lugar donde la gastronomía lisboeta y española se dan la mano. Las bombas buenísimas, la sepia frita con mayonesa de cilantro-lima, crujientes y en su punto, y el atun a la brasa con emulsión de piñones muy muy bueno. La mousse de turrón buena pero podría saber más a turrón, o por lo menos lo que los alicantinos entienden por éste dulce. Una experiencia que merece la pena. La espera es larga horas puntas, pero te puedes dar un paseo o tomarte algo en su ventana.

Well, it’s CRAZY good!! If you are in Lisbon and want to experience something extraordinary - this is the place. We discovered Tapisco last year, so this year, we made a really quick stop in Lisbon (4 hours) on our way back home to Sweden ONLY to eat dinner there! We could just fly back from Faro (where we stayed this year) but I was craving the Tuna loin they make at Tapisco. Never tasted anything more delicious in my entire life. The stuff is really really friendly and funny! Will be back next summer again!!!

Tapisco è un piccolo e lungo ristorante su praca do principe real, ci siamo finite per caso di sabato sera e abbiamo ammazzato l'attesa con un cocktail favoloso: el principe...sublime fresco e gustosissimo! It’ll probably take some time to wait in line for it, but don’t be discouraged. Have a cocktail/drink at the window. The food is worth the wait. The two main chefs are have spent time in Barcelona, and have brought the best of tapas to Lisbon. Definitely try the bachalau fish, be it fresh with tomatoes or mixed with eggs. The gambas (prawns) are great with bread, soaking up the garlic and the olive oil. I’d start with a glass of cava, with the bread with tomatoes and jamon. The fish roe salad is refreshing and different, though I can’t think of anything that one would complain about.

We were one of the couples that stood outside the door thinking that there was another entrance because it was so close to a table. GO THROUGH THE BOLD RED DOOR. My wife and I took up spots at the bar. The servers were very attentive and helped as we struggled through trying to speak Portuguese (even though everyone spoke English, we chose to struggle). All of the food was amazing. The highlight of the meal was the Duck Breast. Highly recommend. The wine pairing was also very good, and we went out and tried to find a bottle to take home. There was a decent amount of food for two people (we had four dishes plus dessert) for about 80 euro. Very enjoyable. Would definitely go again. Update: we made a 2nd trip before leaving the city to return home. Just as good the 2nd time around.

If you like fried calamari, the fried cuttlefish at Tapisco are better than your best calamari. Perfect fry job, golden brown outside and tender cuttlefish. The pan con tomate they did a great job with. Tuna tartare was influenced by Mexico more than Spain I think. Plenty of wines by the glass as well. Service was brisk and efficient. Solid place for lunch

Très bon restaurant portugais au cadre et concept originaux. La cuisine, faite devant vous si vous êtes installé au comptoir, est d'excellente facture. Le vin servi y est de qualité. Les prix un peu plus cher que la moyenne de Lisbonne mais ça vaut vraiment le coup. Attention, pas mal de monde et peu de places, mieux vaut réserver si c'est possible, sinon une petite attente sera peut être nécessaire.

I am a mid 50’s woman, tech professional from the Bay Area (San Francisco, CA) well traveled with a discerning palate. I have had many meals around the world including Lisbon. I came to Tapisco for the first time with my boyfriend (local Lisbonite professionally trained in the hotel / kitchen / service arts) to cap off a several week visit. My boyfriend summed it up best when he said the problem is when chefs become celebrities and the customer is not a celebrated guest - the front of the house function MIA. This restaurant lacks guest service leadership. The place was practically empty upon our arrival at 12:30. We loved the red touches and simple sophisticated vibe of the place. The tiles on the back wall and the gilded slicer on display were beautiful. THE FOOD - The food itself was delish. Best octopus salad I have ever had! The smoked paprika really came through! The sweet pea chorizo pot was savory but didn’t wow me. The souplike format was unexpected and felt like it deserved a bowl vs a plate. The chorizo felt overcooked. The peas were perfectly al dente. NO FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGEMENT - We were told we could sit anywhere. Sounds wonderful on the surface but it soon became clear there was no dining room plan or strategy for how to intelligently orchestrate the seating of guests. Early into our meal, a group of 6 loud talking women were seated right next to us despite 4-5 empty tables at least one table away from us. Suddenly our romantic lunch became a mental filtering competition with a group of people who were obviously lacking in social savvy, i.e. kept their coats on, ate with large backpacks or purses on their laps, taking pictures of everything and waved at the staff to get their attention IMO, it is the restaurant’s responsibility to have the maturity to delicately manage a lower decibel. If you do it artfully enough, they may hardly notice they are being kindly redirected. I’m not blaming the restaurant for the rude guests but I am blaming the restaurant for not realizing the piss poor choice of patron placement and not attending to this group. Leave formality at the door” the restaurant boasts - fine but manners still count!!!! RUSHED THE MEAL - Kept trying to remove things from our table prematurely from the covers through the end - the whole service was rushed! I was seriously tempted to walk out! From the start we said yes to the cover of olives and bread. With about 3 olives and 2 out of 10 pieces of bread eaten we were asked if they could be removed. We were asked SEVERAL TIMES if we would like to return our olives and bread. Our main course came out before we were halfway through the first. We were prodded several times sand finally gave in as our server simply brought out our big metal pot and uncovered it and stood over our table as WE re-plated our first course onto our individual plates. HOVERING - OMG!! The antithesis of attuned attention. It was as if they were being incentivized by # of Trips to the Table! Master the Art of Eye contact consciousness please! GROOMING - Our waitress Had a worn out tattered manicure - hello! You are serving food with your hands! Manicure not necessary. polished presentation, very! WINE SERVICE - While I was not expecting a Sommelier, I would expect our server To have the skill to adeptly open a bottle of wine. Please use a proper foil cutter not a knife! Don’t leave a Raggy sharp edge. Sloppy / young / untrained ‍ ? SERVING UTENSILS - we ordered a sweet pea pot which is a thin brothy type of dish, our main dish meant to be shared and the "serving spoon" was a tea spoon! Serving a portion needed about 15 spoonfuls PLATING - a broth pot dish is difficult to eat on a plate. It deserves at least a low bowl. The whole plate size doesn’t work for the menu on the size of a 2-top table. If you’re doing tapas, plan dish-ware real estate accordingly. Ovals! Or smaller everything.

Service was a bit slow at the beginning, but great in general as the servers picked up quickly and were quite attentive. We had 3 dishes and unfortunately they didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The squid ink paella was too salty and while the rice was cooked right, there was too much stock left, which made the rice too moist. The clams and the pan con tomato with iberico ham were good, but nothing surprising or exciting really.

Boa noite Adoro este espaço, o conceito e a qualidade da comida . Mas hoje foi a pior experiência neste espaço. Entendo perfeitamente que não queiram fechar a porta entre períodos,mas os clientes que entram durante esse tempo não querem ter de jantar com a mesa do lado aínda com os restos expostos do grupo anterior, não temos que se nós a chamar a atenção dos colaboradores. Após a chamada de atenção para este facto, pediram desculpa de imadiato e procederam á limpeza e preparação da mesma para outros clientes. Valeu a humildade e a rápida disponibilidade para resolverem a questão. Vou voltar, pois adoro o espaço. Uma vez não são vezes e obrigado.

Ho avuto l'occasione di pranzare qui con tre amici. Cucina a vista, locale abbastanza rumoroso e dopo un po' inizia a dare fastidio. Personale gentile ma meglio armarsi di un po' di pazienza perché c'è da aspettare. Esperienza complessivamente positiva, il riso era un po' stracotto ma non il polipo che invece era morbido e cotto al punto giusto.

Overall it was an ok experience. My friend and I came here for a late snack and wine after a really long day of work. The food was tasty and well-prepared and the short wine list was well-curated and the wines were all served at the right temperature. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. The reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars (or consider going back) is because they made us wait 20 minutes outside while they cleaned two seats at the bar for us to sit down. When we arrived around 22h00 the restaurant was 70% full and the majority of the clients were finishing up. There were two empty seats at the bar and we asked if we could sit down. The answer was “No, You must wait outside”. The hostesses gave us drink menus and sent us out the door. Either this is a sales strategy to get people to consume more drinks outside at the window (which we did because we were both thirsty and hungry) or its complete disorganization and lack of respect for the clients. We continued to ask the bartender at the window if our two seats were ready with the hopes that she’d remind her colleagues that they needed to be cleaned. But that didn’t work....until 20 minutes later. In all fairness, I must say that once we were seated, everything worked perfectly. (We had: a typical cod dish, tuna tartare, large potatoe and beef “croquette”, four glasses of wine, olives, bread, water, one coffee for 80€) Good luck!

We walked by this restaurant randomly on one of our walks exploring Lisbon. It looked cute from outside and after looking at Yelp reviews we decided to give it a try. Luckily we didn’t have to wait. It was around 2 pm. Service was great. I liked the interior. Food was good. The only disappointment was the cappuccino I ordered. Outside of cappuccino, everything was great.

After being seated it took us over 20 minutes just to order a glass of wine which is a little too long in my opinion. We really enjoyed our food and the experience in its self was enjoyable. Staff were apologetic about the wait time but i felt as though they were run off there feet.

맛있어요! 직원들도 친절했어요 :) 동양인이 들어갔을때 불친절하거나 인종차별이 느껴진 음식점이나 마트(pingo doce 메트로에 있는곳^^ㅗ)는 다신 안가게 되는데요. 이곳은 재방문 의사 있습니다 :D 음식의 맛도 중요하지만 역시 인종차별이 없는 서비스가 그 음식점의 가치를 높여주는것 같아요. 오리스테이크와 유명한 대구요리, 디저트는 레몬소르베, 전채요리로 고기고로케 먹었는데 가장 추천하는건 가장 유명한 대구요리입니다. 전채요리도 맛있었어요. 대구요리에 김치가 사이드 메뉴로 추가되면 정말 200% 환상적인 메뉴가 될 것 같아요! 위 메뉴대로 전채-메인-디저트까지 2인 54유로 나왔어요. 리스본에서 처음이자 마지막으로 만족한 곳입니다.

Food was great. The service was literally terrible. They clearly prioritize locals, but the service was absolutely terrible. Be ready to be upset you are spending money there but the food will for sure be worth it. Also double check your bill as many of the locals will tell you they add on bread and olives to non-Portuguese speakers. They did it to us, but we caught them.

Best food I've ever had! Guys, this is literally the best food in Lisbon (at least Lisbon). Everything we had was AMAZING! We ordered duck breast, grilled shrimp with rice, paella and tuna tartar. It was all soооооо good I could't believe it! We waited outside with drinks almost an hour but it's totally worth it!!! Cocktails and wine are perfect! Very nice barmen and good service. I highly recommend this place!!!!!

Great cocktails - I’ll give it that. Then it all went downhill. Arrived at around 8 pm, put our names down for a table / seats for 2, and ordered drinks to have whilst waiting. We weren’t given a waiting time which really is quid pro quo for such restaurants that take no reservations, which was honestly fine. What was NOT fine - at 9 pm i saw that there were 3 empty tables in the restaurant, so I asked the waitress how many names were ahead of us on the waiting list. She said we were the second on the list. I asked, “oh okay, there are 3 empty tables, please could we be seated?” She said she will, please wait. Fast forward 20 minutes later, and the tables were still empty. I am not sure why we couldn’t have been seated earlier, even just to have our drinks - we had ordered our second round so it’s not as if we weren’t paying. Were we kept standing outside just to create “vibe”? Anyway after more than 90 minutes of standing outside in full view of the waitress, we were finally seated. Ordered some form of croquettes, tuna ceviche and octopus salad and garlic prawns. Garlic prawns never came. First three items painfully average - tuna soggy in the way that frozen and thawed fish is - not what I’d consider appropriate for ceviche. Octopus salty and devoid of flavour (apart from salty.) All in all food that is definitely not worth a 90 minute wait. There are tonnes of better places to eat in Lisbon. The people queuing outside the restaurant are kept there for a reason. Do not trust the vibe.

Great, informed service; loved sitting at the bar and chatting with the chef. The croquettes are among the best we tried in Lisbon, the cod was perfectly cooked, and the broth used in the Acorda de Gambas added a depth of flavor to the dish that blew me away. We happened to wander in at the right time when the wait was short...lucky us. Knowing what I know now, we would have been happy to wait quite a bit longer.

One of the better restaurants in Lisbon. We ate at Alma, the parent restaurant to Tapisco and found both to be quite good. Tapisco is focused on Spanish / Portuguese fusion and serves really solid vermouth cocktails. Highly recommend it, and if you go at 7:00 pm you can walk right in even on Saturday night. This place will blow up, so get in while it's still relatively under the radar.

The fried cuttlefish appetizer was delicious. I am not sure if I have tried cuttlefish before but the consistency was very much like a calamari that was lightly breaded. It came with a cilantro lime aioli type of sauce for dipping. SO good. The mousse de almendra was also delicious. I would perhaps skip on the prawns as they were pretty oily.

Great experience. We decided to sit at the bar; it’s very comfortable and doesn’t feel crowded. We got to see the team of cooks prep all the meals in an insanely well equipped dream-kitchen. Everything came out great with simple and effective presentation. Waiter was very professional. As expected, washrooms were flawless and well appointed. We will most probably go back!

We visited Tapisco on our last day for a quick meal before we had to catch our flight, and it was just perfect. We mentioned to the staff we were in a hurry, and they made sure our dishes came out fast. We had the octopus salad, the deep fried squid, croquettes and the prawns - they were all just divine. We sat at the bar too, which was a treat, because we got to see the chef's prep all the food. Highly recommend! Great food, great service and great atmosphere!

All the tables were reserved but as we were there by 6 they managed to squeeze the 2 of us in. Food was delicious - only thing was I kind of expected with tapas for the dishes to arrive together - but they arrived one by one, so you eat one, it's taken away, another arrives and so on. I walked past Tapisco when deciding where to grab a lunch, and it looked enticing. I like to eat a good lunch so sat down in the beautiful restaurant to eat to my heart’s content. The décor was a mix between old-world charm and modern dining. I was impressed. I had plenty of time, so put together a meal that I could be proud of. For starters, I chose the tomato bread with Jamón Ibérico de Bellota as this is one of my favourites. It was exquisite and complemented the Marinated Olives I had chosen alongside. Then it came to the mains. I had a feeling they were all going to be good. The Tuna Tartar with avocado and wasabi "eggs" was delightful and showed off the skills of a master chef. Seafood is so hard to get right so I was delighted when the Cuttlefish Tempura with coriander and lime mayonnaise came and was cooked to perfection. Staying on the seafood theme, I went for the Salted Cod "à Brás" with confit egg yolk and it was the best salted cod I have tasted in my life. I also ordered the Iberian Pork Presa and the Grilled Vegetables with salsa Romesco and they were in perfect harmony with all of the other dishes in my selection. I still had room for dessert, so opted for the Portuguese almond cake with mandarin sorbet, which seemed to be the choice of most in the restaurant. It tasted divine and, along with excellent service, topped the night off. I recommend Tapisco to anyone.

Estupidamente caro, para o que se comeu e bebeu. Claramente, mais uma ratoeira para turistas. Para não voltar nem recomendar. 92,00€ para duas pessoas petiscarem? Uma garrafa de vinho "Pó de Poeira" 2015 preço normal nas garrafeiras 15,00 €, custou 44,00? Um pouco exagerado?!

Very nice place, listed in a Michelin guide 2018. Better to reserve a table in advance since it gets full very quickly, especially for dinner. The food is very good, simple dishes but with it's own unique touch. We had scrambled eggs, tuna loin and iberian pork presa.

Das Restaurante Tapisco liegt nahe des Jardim do Príncipe Real (unbedingt wegen des Baums gleich am Eingang hingehen, der ein grünes Dach über den Bänken bildet) ist ein sehr cooles Restaurant mit wunderbarem lokalen Fisch. Leider ist es schwierig einen Platz zu bekommen, deshalb unbedingt reservieren. Das mögliche warten wird durch hervorragende Cocktails wie zum Beispiel dem dort legendären Pisco Sour verkürzt.

If you like cocktails absolutely order the Principe cocktail. One of the best cocktails I've ever had. Overall excellent food. Order the octopus salad as well as the clams. Bacalhau was very good too....perfectly cooked though as to my tastes a bit salty but when eaten with accompanying potatoes another masterpiece. One of the best meals we've had in Portugal so far!

Great food and service. We turned up at around 8pm and only had to wait 30 mins where they take your name down and call you back on your phone when there is a table free. Came back again two days later around the same time and got seated straight away.

Great staff and overall good food (some of the dishes could be a bit improved). We arrived soon on a Thursday evening and were able to get a table for 10 without reservation, but a bit after that tables were a scarce resource.

Ambiente agradável, serviço razoável. O tártaro de atum com abacate era normal, sendo peixe algo duro. Os legumes grelhados eram frescos e muito bons. O Bacalhau à Brás estava bom. O que pode melhorar: o atum e o pão que não está à altura do Chefe, proponho que sirvam o pão da Gleba (padaria em Alcântara). Experimentem... Mc Miranda Cândido

En cuanto al espacio, me gusta.... buen diseño, concepto de cocina abierta al público q come en la barra y luego salón banco corrido , buenos materiales de construcción . La atención muy buena y educadisima, de lis picos sitios con carta en Español, lo cual gusta aunque se hablen otras lenguas. La comida muy buena a base de buenas tapas Lo recomiendo

Delicious food - interesting interpretation of traditional cuisine. Good cocktails and very nice service ( good looking people too). Too bad you can't make a reservation. Be prepared for a waiting line. Better for small groups or two people because the restaurant is not very big.

It didn't quite meet my expectations. The place is very nice, they put a lot of effort into the decoration. Staff was also very friendly but food definitely needs to be improved. Most of the food we were served was fried and quite simple for the price. Dessert looked good though!
