a paisagem é bonita. Contudo achei caro para o servico e comida. A cerveja estava quente, a comida sem sal e o menu é limitado( 4 pratos principais )

O sítio é lindíssimo e a comida muito boa e os empregados simpáticos, mas existe muita falta de coordenação do serviço, muito demorado, falta de alguns pratos, não puseram couvert nem perguntaram se queríamos e não colocaram talheres para o prato principal.

We went to have drinks after nice evening in Almada. Service was slow, and nobody (crew) had intress to serve. I need to say they had busy night but we waited like ten minutes to have drinks. I don't recommend if you are going to just have some drinks.

Great place to have a excellent Mojito (around 10EUR)
Very nice view over the Tagus river and very friendly staff.
ℹYou can get to Cacilhas by a regular ferry service from the Cais do Sodré railway station (around 3EUR ticket) and Atira-te ao rio is should be the first stop to recharge your batteries.
Also, they have special boat services from Lisbon(around 15 EUR).

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in Portugal. It has a beautiful view, especially nice during the sun set. The service was very good. Our waiter was Miguel, who was perfect. We had the ‘vieiras’ as a starter, which were really good. And then the codfish and the tuna. The codfish was good but the tuna was amazing, the best I’ve ever had. As a dessert we ate tiramisu and it was also great!

Só dou mesmo uma estrela pela paisagem soberba do rio tejo, com a imagem de Lisboa na outra margem. De resto, o " Atira-te ao rio " dá vontade de atirar, literalmente, à água a gerência do restaurante. Os preços são escandalosos, verdaeiramente exorbitantes para a quantidade e qualidade das refeições. Não recomendo.

Went there twice, the first time was really great thanks to the amazing view and the fast and friendly service. We had the porc belly and the swordfish steak, and we enjoyed every bit of it!
The second time we came, food was still great and we really liked the frozen berries sangria, but we had to wait 15 mins for the menus and 1h for the food.. I guess it's the beginning of the summer rush!

Well prepared quality dishes, especially when you consider that locations like these tend to lower the bar in the kitchen. Service can be slow but staff is extremely nice and with a view like this you're not really in a hurry. Can be a bit expensive in terms of price/quantity.

La sorpresa de Lisboa! De entrada, desde que llegas a Cacilhas hasta que encuentras el restaurante, paseas por el borde del río sobre un muelle con viejos elementos de carga (ya oxidados por su abandono) y naves abandonadas (a punto de caer) adornadas con miles de colores de arte urbano, hasta en algún caso puedes adentrarte en alguno de esos edificios abandonados...tienen su encanto. El restaurante no puede estar en mejor ubicación ni tener las mejores vistas. La carta es variada y bastante buena. Fuimos un martes a mediodía y estaba abarrotado, así que conviene reservar con antelación, o como nosotros ir con mucha paciencia y disfrutar del entorno con una buena sangría blanca.

Twee x gegeten:
eerste keer was op een door de weekse , niet echt drukke dag. Echt heel lekker en goed bereid eten. Bediening was attent en goed.
Tweede keer was op een zondag, dus op een drukke dag. Bediening was niet geïnformeerd over de wijzigingen op de kaart en kwam 3x terug om te zeggen dat het gerecht uitverkocht was. Hetzelfde gebeurde met de wijnen. De enkele obers waren ook lomp, waarschijnlijk door de drukte.Eten was matig bereid, vis te lang gebakken, slecht gekruid. zowel voor als hoofdgerecht werden niet voor ieder tegelijk gebracht...er zat een kwartier tussen.
De rekening klopte ook niet. Er werden meer flessen wijn in rekening gebracht.
Kort samengevat: een prima restaurant op rustige dagen. Niet komen op drukke dagen.

We came here for my birthday meal and it was perfect. The view of the sun setting, the bridge, a small beach right on our tables end was fantastic. The place was lively and people all seemed to be enjoying their experience. The sangria here was probably the best I had in my time in Lisbon- it generous and had a lot of flavour. For starter we had the octopus salad and the fried chorizo and for main the pork loin and the shrimp linguine. All dishes were well received- we were so pleased! I highly recommend the shrimp linguine. The service was 5/5! Thank you so much to the swift, polite and fun service. Really an impressive address.

Très bel endroit pour contempler le coucher du soleil ! Les plats sont délicieux et très joliement présentés. Le personnel est aux petits soins : une petite couverture pour cette soirée encore un peu fraîche d'avril. Pensez à réserver !

We had the best food and experience! Lisbon is pricey and this restaurant offers dining by the shore and the sunset experience as a plus. Blankets were provided as it gets really chilly before dark.

There is 2 restaurants neighbours to eachother, Ponto Final and Atira-te ao Rio, bot are unmistakably in a place where the sunset made even a Lisbon born and raised jaw drop in awe, as the orange to increasingly red light lays from under the San Francisco twin bridge over the calm Tagus waters turning it into a white mirror, while you sit just by the water.
Straightforward on food and service, although Ponto Final has a slightly better location just 2 step closer inside the water, a little more in the edge, Atira-te so Rio has a better menu offer, much better service, cheaper pricetag and somehow less water spot making it also more relaxing.

Great place to eat in Lisbon. Just take the ferry to Almada and you can enjoy the views and have a marvelous lunch. We love everything, the ambient, the atmosphere, the views and for sure the food. Is better to book a table on weekends.

Marvellous place. There are outside tables by the sea. The seafood dishes are amazing. Simple food but very well made.

If you want to enjoy a water side and its sound with a fatastic view of the bridge, go there. You sit just beside of little beach. Order a jar of Sangria and chill. They don't have wide variety of food and portions are small.

Unfassbar schöner Platz direkt am Tejo mit Traumblick auf Lissabon, die Hängebrücke und die Santos Cristo Statue. Köstliche, frisch zubereitet Fischgerichte und sehr freundliches Personal. Reservierung empfohlen.

Das Restaurant ist super schön gelegen. Es gibt einen tollen Blick über den Tejo nach Lissabon. Leider war die Speisekarte nicht so reichhaltig wie erhofft. Das Essen war gut, aber nicht überragend. Wir aßen Vorspeise, Linguini, bife à portuguesa und Kabeljau. Das Essen war o.k, aber wir hatten uns von diesem Fischrestaurant in dieser Preiskategorie eine größere Varietät erhofft. Die Kellner waren etwas seltsam. Beide Sprachen auch spanisch und Englisch, jedoch hatten wir bei einem das Gefühl, dass wir nicht willkommen waren, während der andere sehr, sehr freundlich war.

Meine Vorspeise kam leider nicht so an wie es seien sollte als ich die kellner angesprochen habe meinten sie nur das Eigelb wäre so klein gemacht worden, dass man es drüber streuen kann. Ja klar... nach dem sie 5 Minuten untereinander diskutiert haben ist die Aussage alles andere als glaubwürdig. Nicht zu empfehlen essen sieht gut aus der Geschmack bleibt auf der strecke leider.

Had a great meal with 4 friends. I had the salmon which was moist and flavorful. The beets added a richness to the quinoa and the accompanying vegetables were great as well. The homemade lemonade was delicious and complimented everything without being too sweet. There was a great view of Lisbon and the prices were standard despite the first class food and presentation.

A evitar! Fomos ao Atira-te ao Rio depois de vermos no Google que o restaurante está aberto ininterruptamente até às 22:30! Chegámos às 15h e o funcionário disse que não nos podia servir (2 pax) uma vez que a cozinha fecha às 16h e o cozinheiro já se tinha queixado do volume de trabalho. Bem... isto está errado em todos os sentidos.

Simply superb. The food was as good as anything London has to offer and the staff were wonderfully attentive without being obvious. This restaurant is a must and don’t be afraid of the walk there along the riverside! Just keep going, you’ll think you’ve gone wrong but you haven’t - it’s dark and narrow but totally worth the effort. Their own house wine is excellent too!

Stunning views, good food better service.
Probably there is not better venue in Lisbon to enjoy your lunch or afternoon coffee by the river. The low temperatures couldn't stop us from choosing an outside table and enjoy the local products while watching the city and the bridge under the sunset's light.
Before you order you will be welcomed with some olives, bread and olive oil (this will be add to your bill later on so kindly refuse it if you don't like it). We had some octopus salad, highly recommended, salmon ceviche and prawns. All delicious!
We hesitate about the drinks and the waiter offered us a quick taste of national wines and sparklings. They also serve Portuguese Gin called Cobalto wich is very nice but a little bit expensive compared with the rest of the items in the menu.
By the way: there is only a pedestrian access to this spot so you will have to be able to walk a short distance to reach this charming restaurant.

Gorgeous view to Lisbon from the other side of the river. Perfect spot to have lunch on a summer day and spend the afternoon, or for a drink before dinner to watch the sun set. Food is average, staff is too much in a hurry sometimes but ok. But the view pays off all the minor unpleasant details. Take the ferry from Cais do Sodré from Lisbon and it will take you 3 minutes to cross the river Tagus.

Wonderful find on the waterfront in Almada! The food is fantastic as is the service and location. Casual dining on the patio is a terrific experience. The food is very creative serving local fresh dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Headline review: 5 stars for the setting, views and experience. 3 stars for the food.
This restaurant is in one of the loveliest locations you could hope to visit. Right on the water of the River Tagus overlooking Lisbon and the huge 25 April suspension bridge. Furthermore the sun conveniently sets over the bridge so getting there an hour before sunset is amazing as you watch the sun go down.
Sadly, the food does not live up to the setting and, although generous in portion size, is not that sophisticated. My daughters had a huge prawn starter (shrimp on the menu) which was very tasty but expensive at 15 euros. My fried cuttlefish was not nearly as nice. Great rubbery chunks of cuttlefish, albeit in a light batter, with a strange prawn cocktail-like pinkish sauce.
Mains were ok. A nice cod and prawn dish (in the same tasty sauce as the prawn starter) a tuna tataki dish let down by some of the tuna having blood damage in the flesh and a loin of pork dish with mushy mash where the pork was possibly a little under done.
Service was ok and we had a lovely bottle of vinho verde.
I feel bad being harsh about this amazing place but there is another restaurant next door “Ponto Final” with the same views which I will try next time I visit.
To get there you take a cheap ferry from the ferry port next to the Cais do Sodre train station and then a lovely 10 minute walk alongside the river. However coming back in the dark there are little or no lights so either take a torch or charge up your mobile phone battery to use its light as the return journey could be quite perilous in the dark.

So a vista vale 5 estrelas. A carta não é mt variada mas a opção escolhida (barriga de leitão) estava divinal. O atendimento é simpático. Preços mt inflacionados especialmente nos vinhos. Mas pela experiência de ver o sol a pôr se com Lisboa ao fundo numa agradável noite de verão, vale a pena.

The gem in our holiday. Not only does the Atira-te have simply stunning views of Lisbon and the best beach vibe this side of the Atlantic but also an incredible choice of food and wine. Highly worth the charming ferry journey over and we recommend the linguine nero ! A short walk along the water from the ferry terminal but it only adds to the atmosphere of discovery .

Super schöne Sicht auf Lissabon, vorallem bei Sonnenuntergang! Natürlich ist das Restaurant auch dementsprechend beliebt, weshalb man am besten vorher reserviert (Wartezeiten können lang sein). Das Essen ist qualitativ hochwertig weshalb die Preise bestimmt gerechtfertigt sind. Die Preise für die Drinks sind allerdings eher semi. Und der Service is leider echt mies. Info für alle Touris, das Brot und die Vorspeisen die einem vor dem Essen hingestellt werden sind nicht kostenfrei.
War ein netter Abend wurde aber nicht wieder kommen.

Tramonto impagabile dietro il ponte 25 Aprile. Si raggiunge con una breve passeggiata in piano dall'attracco del traghetto (15 minuti) con murales molto decorativi che coprono il degrado dei capannoni abbandonati. Stupisce che un posto così non sia sfruttato turisticamente!
Alla fine della passeggiata c'è un altro bar ristorante, ma questo ha uno spazio lounge anche solo per bere una birra di fronte al fiume. Non abbiamo mangiato, ma i prezzi dei drink sono decisamente abbordabili!

The location is great, but wish we’d gone round the corner to the next restaurant (the one with yellow chairs) as the food was disappointing here. Both the cuttlefish starter and belly pork were really tough and hard to eat. The flavours were good however. There were also a lot of flies.

Espectacular!!!! Llevo años repitiendo, y ya ha pasado por varios responsables. La comida siempre ha estado muy buena, y del sitio que decir.... incomparable e inmejorable. Las vistas al atardecer no tienen precio.
Por poner un pero....Hay que tener costunbres del norte de Europa, si reservas (que hay que reservar) te dan hora de cena para las 19:00 horas....muy temprano para estas costumbres nuestras, pero merece la pena.

Una vista preciosa, comiendo al lado del río, pero nada más. Servicio lento, lento, hasta el punto de tener que levantarte para que te den las cosas. Pasa un camarero y le pides algo, te dice que sí, pero es que no, pasa otro camarero le pides lo mismo y claro te dice que sí, pero vuelve a ser que no y así toda la comida, terminas antes si vas a buscarlo. Al señor de la mesa contigua le tiraron el café casi encima y la comida no es nada especial, bueno sí es algo cara. No lo recomiendo en absoluto y es una pena.

En cause des serveurs qui soufflent, tirent une tete de 3 pieds de long, ne vous prennent pas en considération (alors qu'ils savent que vous attendez que l'on inscrive votre nom sur une liste puisqu'ils ne prennent pas de reservation au téléphone).

Amazing tapas to share accompanied by a beautiful seaside view of the sunset. The three of us ordered the bread plate, balsamic cabbage, tuna tataki, miso swordfish, and cod ceviche. All were very fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Also got 1L of sparkling water and white sangria (a bit sweet for my taste, but still great).
Our server was very friendly and fun. Great place to enjoy a view of Lisbon across the water during sunset. Gets chilly after dark, so bring a layer!

Over-priced, overrated, house wine of poor quality but expensive - my head is spinning right now. It's a tourist trap but a Portuguese local recommended it even though we specified a place for Portuguese people where you can enjoy nice fish. Don't belive the positive reviews - Portugal has great food and there are much better places than this where you eat very well at a reasonable price.

Atira-te ao Rio was hands down one of the best restaurants I tried on my two week trip to Portugal. This cozy seafood restaurant mixes modern flare with traditional dishes and boasts the most spectacular view of Lisbon. When we arrived, the restaurant was full so we took a seat out on the terrace with a couple of cozy blankets provided by our server. It was a happy accident because we got the best seats in the house! I would definitely recommend sitting outside, enjoying a glass of wine and taking in the unparalleled view. You wouldn’t go wrong with any of the menu items, but we especially enjoyed the octopus salad and mushroom risotto with scallops. Cheers!

Glad we decided to come here instead of the other spot. The staff was super friendly and the prices were reasonable. We ordered four appetizers to try different foods being offered; highly recommend the shrimp in garlic, the tuna and my favorite was the octopus salad. Great seating option along the little beach with a view of Lisbon. Pretty chill vibe and they have WiFi. I would return.

10/15 min walk from the ferry terminal along the old disused factory buildings but you are rewarded with a fab place.
Prices very reasonable given the stunning location and we only had drinks, but food is also served.

The food and the atmosphere is amazing. We were there as a group and had a lovely shared dinner whilst watching the sunset. It was getting kind of chilly later on and we received balnkets to keep us warm.
The staff was kind and willing, but maybe a bit shorthanded, which let to long waits to place an order and no-one really bothered to check up on us during the time we were there. However, the food and the scenery truly made up for this. Must-Trys: The salad with octopus and the deepfried cuttlefish!

Llegar hasta aquí es toda una aventura. Primero hay que cruzar el estuario en ferry desde el muelle de Cais do Sodré a Cacilhas (las tarjetas de transporte Viva Viagem son válidas para este trayecto) y luego hay que caminar casi un km. por la orilla del río hacia el puente 25 de Abril, entre almacenes abandonados llenos de grafiti y algún pescador sentado en una sillita plegable. De pronto llegas a una pequeña cala con playa, a los pies del Elevador Boca do Vento y ya estás en el restaurante más marinero de Lisboa. ¿Merece la pena tanto esfuerzo? ¡PUES SÍ!

Be sure to make reservations for the evenings. Nearly all of the dishes we had were delicious and well presented. The staff executed well and there were all friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is at a nice place and the food is good. Most of the waiters were friendly but not organized at all. We had a total of four waiters that served us and all of them were really hectic. The chairs outside were cold and really uncomfortable and they had a total of 4 blankets for all customers. And going back the dark road with it's big and dangerous holes in it to the ferry isn't something nice to remember. This actually could be a perfect spot, but it definitely needs some structure and investments.

What a great place, particularly when enjoyed as a large group. The food was great and the view truly incredible. We were fortunate to have one of the most stunning sunsets I have ever seen as our backdrop, which made it feel quite magical. Service can be a bit chaotic, but very personal, which only added to the experience. A wonderful place to have a long lazy dinner with friends - thankfully, the last ferry back over to Lisbon was 1:20 in the morning!

The food was ok, but over salted in my view which somewhat ruined a very good dish. Get the ferry from Lisbon, tickets cheap and runs regular. Worth going for the sunset.

A vista é incrível, o atendimento foi bom mas infelizmente o principal, a comida, não estava nada boa. Duas pessoas ao mesmo tempo dizerem, - parece congelado - não é comum. Ainda perguntamos para o atendente que nos afirmou que tinha sido feito mesmo na hora. Os camarões não tinham sabor, a massa sem gosto, a porção tamanho gourmet não melhora, e com preço relativamente salgado, não foi bom. Valeu a imperial e a vista. Volto lá outro dia mas sem data prevista.

Buenas vistas, especialmente de noche. La carta no es muy extensa. El bacalao excelente.
Sólo había un aseo para hombres y mujeres, tuve que esperar más de 15 minutos para entrar.
El servicio de camareros atento y amable.

Essen war gut
Service das aller letzte.
Waren 3,5 Stunden da mit 4 Personen. Von 6 Gerichten auf der Karte gab es 3 nicht.
Nach über eine Stunde warten kam das erste Essen. Für eine Person die dann alleine aß. 1,5 Stunden später bekam dann auch der letzte sein Gericht.
Milchkaffee gab es nicht weil die Milch aus war.
Das einzige was toll war, war die Aussicht.

Restaurante situado en Almada , con unas vistas impresionantes hacia Lisboa. Carta sencilla pero los platos que probé ricos . Tardan un poco en servir pero merece la pena igualmente. Es necesario reservar . Se puede ir en coche hasta el mirador boca do vento , en la zona de arriba y bajar en ascensor , luego caminas 400 metros por el paseo y ya lo encuentras sin problema.

Vue sur le pont, le Rio, le couché de soleil.
D habitude il fait frais le soir dans ce coin mais nous avons eu de la chance, cette soirée était chaude, et les plats étaient très bons. Serveur très gentil.

The only thing that makes this restaurant special is his location. The food is not bad, but comes in small portions for the price you pay and takes too long to come. After an hour and half we just had one of the entries we picked out of three, and the main course came after 2 hours of waiting.
Also that was made a reservation at nine , and they didn't have the table ready, making us to wait for about 30 minutes, plus we asked a table inside , and got a table outside, but not the biggest problem besides the fact that is of shore.

Um restaurante do qual eu tinha imensas referências boas, so me deixou a desejar. O chefe de sala foi a pessoa mais arrogante a servir-nos naquela noite. Desde ironia a flagrante rudeza, deste funcionário tivemos de tudo. O restaurante para mim merece uma estrela. É aquilo que se considera uma verdadeira "tourist trap". Uma pena. A segunda estrela atribuo-a à funcionária Carolina que nos serviu a noite toda e soube lidar com os percalços como uma verdadeira profissional.

If you've ever looked for that one perfect spot where you can have a wonderful evening with your loved ones while enjoying great food, a breathtaking view, and excellent service: That's the place! (Trust me, I've traveled a lot).
The composition makes this place unique, because they have it all:
The view is magnificent, you see the sunset like nowhere else in Lisbon.
Food: Perfect! We (party of 7) tried almost every dish they offer and they are all so tasty, fresh made, right on the spot. Portions are reasonably sized.
Service: Honestly, the best I ever had in my life. They take care of your company at carefully judged intervals. Not too often, not too little. If you have a desire, you just catch their eye and they will happily assist you, even with special wishes like changing an order, turning down the music a little or organising a cigarette for you. The waiters make sure they understand what you're about. Of course they all speak very fluent English.
Costs? Well, absolutely fair. If you're used to high-end Lisbon restaurant prices this one will be on the average to lower side.
Reservations strongly recommended.

Wonderful location and food.
Situated by the brink of the river, this restaurant has a homely feel due to the friendly staff. It is also the perfect place to catch the sunset in Lisbon (usually around 9pm during the summer).
As for the food, I shared starters with all my friends. They were reasonably priced and tasted good.
