As per the previous reviews, this is not a tourist trap! It's genuinely high class food at reasonable prices.
The dining area seems very private and romantic. The tables are well presented and the wine list is also excellent and varied!
I had the pork tenderloin as per the recommendations in other reviews and it was delicious and well presented.
My girlfriend had the fish of the day (hake) and was very impressed.
The service was impeccable and, although not the most important part of a dinner out, the men's toilets were the cleanest and bestpresented I've ever been in!
I can't recommend this restaurant enough, an absolute pleasure.

Bon restaurant, plats savoureux (bacalhau, mousse au chocolat et tarte au citron) Budget un peu au dessus des prix moyens pratiqués a Lisbonne mais cela vaut le coup. Bon accueil, service souriant d'un jeune serveur.

Saí com uma amiga de longa data em visita à Portugal e acertamos na escolha.
Saímos totalmente satisfeitos e esta será sempre minha primeira e única opção.
O atendimento foi espetacular, sempre simpáticos, a vontade de repetir a cada garfada, um balançar de sabores, uma confecção perfeita, numa sintonia mágica.
Foi fenomenal!
Recomendo com a garantia de que irão sair com a mesma ideia.

Comida fantástica, num espaço requintado, que convida certamente a uma visita na nossa Lisboa.
Além disso, o atendimento faz-nos sentir especiais e somos, logo à chegada, recebidas com um enorme sorriso.
Fui com uma amiga e ela escolheu o lombo de vaca com rockfort, enquanto eu escolhi o filete de peixe à Belle Meuniére (filete de peixe grelhado, molho de manteiga, limão, camarões, cogumelos e alcaparras, acompanhado com arroz). Acompanhámos com uma sangria tinta. Estava tudo divinal e irrepreensível!
E as sobremesas - ah, as sobremesas! - maravilhosas! Vale muito a pena.
Tudo de comer e chorar por mais.
Sem dúvida que este restaurante é uma pérola escondida da nossa cidade.

Nous avons passé un excellent réveillon du Nouvel An au Salsa Rosa Bistro. Le cadre est accueillant et sobre, et le personnel très attentif et aimable. La nourriture relativement traditionnelle est d'excellente qualité et très fraîche. L'un d'entre nous souffre d'allergie alimentaire et le cuisinier avait préparé une série de plats spéciaux pour nous. En partant nous avons même reçu notre bouteille de vin mousseux et les raisins secs (tradition du Nouvel An)! Une parfaite façon de terminer 2018. Un grand merci!

A wonderful little restaurant serving some great food. We had the pork chop and pork tenderloin and both were cooked perfectly. The cheese plate was also fantastic as was our dessert of chocolate cake and Caiprinha (!) Ice cream. What tops it off is the wonderful staff who were friendly and helpful. This is not a tourist trap. It is a thoughtful restaurant that's worth a visit, especially if you stay in the area.

We found this little gem of a restaurant on google search tonight, the food is amazing from start to finish I picked the pork tenderloin after reading a review and it was truly amazing so tender and tasty highly recommend it. The staff really make the place they are so friendly chatty and welcoming. Would highly recommend

Här blir du lycklig! En familjeägda restaurang som sätter ära i allt dom lägger på tallriken. Vi åt en fantastisk lax med kokosris och syltad annanas - du får mer om du vill! Deras kött är av bästa kvalitet så även oxfilén med balsamicosås. Desserten var en variant på Dulce du Lecce från Brasilien och den smälte i munnen. Vår kypare var väldigt vinkunnig och rekommendationerna var perfekta. En av våra bästa kvällar!
Det kan se anspråkslöst ut på utsidan, men väl inne kommer du förstå...

Carta curta e equilibrada a denotar profissionalismo.
Doses equilibradas exepto o bacalhau... Apesar de excelente e a lascar como convém, é manifestamente insuficiente. Excelentes as carnes e o salmão.

We only found this bistro by looking at Google Maps. The reviews were very good. We totally agree. Super friendly service, low key and relaxed. We liked the clean and fresh decor. The food was excellent. Without doubt the main course of pork tenderloin was one of the best plates of food I have eaten. Simple but perfectly cooked with perfect vegetables. Yes, the menu is short....for me that means the chef is giving himself/herself a chance to concentrate on the quality. The wine list could be more adventurous but we were happy with our choice. To top it all the prices are very good, the value is outstanding. My partner and I both highly recommend Salsa Rosa and wish them the prosperous future they deserve.

The creme brule is a must try and the sushis are all great. Always try the chef favourite, i ordered a sushi roll i forgot the name but it was great. The advice that the servers gave was great. They surprisingly remembered the orders and do not write it down like a typical restaurant which is surprising

Écht heerlijk gegeten! Vooraf het Portugese kaasplateau! LEKKER ! Daarna voor mij kip gorgonzolasaus en voor mijn man steak met gekarameliseerde uien. Super, super lekker! Beide zo zacht! Toprestaurant! Michelinster waardig. Personeel is heel attent en servicegericht. Aanrader!

Il posto è piccolo, una decina tavoli(da tener presente in alta stagione), e il menù non ha tantissima scelta, in compenso la qualità è molto buona e il personale è cortese e presente nella giusta misura... I prezzi sono magari un po' alti ma adeguati alla qualità e quantità dei piatti... Consigliato.

Stumbled across this cool little place while wandering around on first day in city. We left impressed, the food was excellent, we had porkloin and salmon, and the service was excellent, when they noticed one of the pork loons was not up to par they immediately replaced it. Friendly and timely all around. Salmon cooked to perfection. Lovely chocolate mousse for dessert.

We were fortunate to be staying down the road from this place and we were so impressed, we booked straight away for a second dinner. The staff were polite and attentive. They spoke very good English too. The first night I got the Pork tenderloin with peanut butter, almonds, lemon and bread crumble and sautéed grilled vegetables. Wow, I was in love. The combination of ingredients sound interesting and they work together so well. Presentation of food was top notch. For desert, I had the Petit gâteau with homemade lemon and sugarcane spirit ice cream and again, it was perfection.
On the second visit, I had the Salmon fillet with creamy coconut rice, spicy pineapple chutney, smoked olive oil and black sesame seeds. Again, the flavours worked so well together. For desert, the Lemon and chocolate tart which was beautiful to eat.
Make sure you book before going as it is quite a small venue and packs out quite quickly.

Lohnt auch zu warten, aber Reservierung empfohlen. Sehr angenehmer Service.
Küche ist sensationell. Portugiesische Gerichte modern interpretiert. Der beste Kabeljau meines Lebens und auch der Schwertfisch ein Gedicht.

My mom and I stumbled onto this lovely little restaurant last night. They were at capacity but we were able to get a table after a short wait. We loved the sheep’s cheese and pumpkin chutney, pork tenderloin and salmon fillet followed by dessert (the house pudding and petit ganache with sugarcane lime spirit ice cream— great palate cleanser!). The staff were so warm and friendly, made for a great first night in Lisbon.

O atendimento desse lugar é excelente. Fazia muito tempo que não era tão bem atendido. A comida era diferente do tradicional e muito boa. Tanto as entradas como os pratos. Recomendo muito a visita para conhecer mais dos pratos. Tem opções de vários tipos de carnes e peixes.

Die Speisekarte ist zwar überschaubar, trotzdem sollte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei sein. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Portionen schienen am Anfang etwas klein, das dürfte aber an den großen Tellern liegen , denn Satt wurden wir alle. Mann sollte mit 15- 20€ pro Hauptgericht rechnen. Das essen ist den Preis aber alle mal wert.

Nice place but our mains took 1.5 hours to arrive. The beef was quite good but the veal was quite chewy. No compensation was offered for the excessive wait.

Un grand bravo au chef, qui cuisine des plats superbes et bourrés de (bonnes) saveurs.
Vous ajoutez un serveur charmant, attentif et efficace, et une salle sobre mais bien décorée, et mon tout est une adresse à ne pas manquer à Lisbonne, même si rlke est un peu éloignée du centre (a 10mn de Metro avec la ligne bleue).
Ce soir, Entree variée, filet de porc, et espadon furent de purs plaisirs !

This little restaurant is soon moving around the corner to larger premises- it is very small and becoming increasingly popular. We arrived a little late after a concert but it was no problem. Andre and Larissa looked after us really well and were very welcoming. The starters we had were delicious- local cheese with pumpkin chutney and Portuguese sausage on a bed at caramelized onions , which were rather too sweet for my personal taste. I opted for the veal which was one of the best pieces of meat I had eaten for years - very succulent, tender and tasty and my husband had the beef tenderloin - also delicious. No room for dessert- what a pity! Wines served by the glass if required. Inexpensive too. Will definitely return on our next trip to Lisbon.

Stumbled into this little bistro by chance...turns out the foods not too shabby, even tho my wife did say that her main was a bit salty and my wife is never wrong apparently.....ever
Overall it was pretty nice but I think they need to add a salad or vegetable side dish to the menu as everything is really rich and meaty.
I'd recommend it for couples, its quite romantic.
