Wonderful food, I’d definitely recommend the roasted octopus! The prawns on bread was not what I was expected and was in fact a whole loaf of bread with a delicious buttery, herby, prawn filling.
Wonderful location off the high street meant a lovely calm atmosphere and as we went for late lunch it wasn’t too busy.
Would definitely recommend!

Das Essen war sehr gut, nur leider kam in einem Fall nicht das, was bestellt war... und aufgrund sprachlicher Barrieren war es nicht zufriedenstellend zu klären... geschmeckt hat das aber auch...

Very nice, small and cozy place! Fantastic service. The food was not so very special. I ate the risotto with prawns. Didn't taste that much. They sat as at a very bad place with alot of flies flying around in our faces. That was very annoying.

We ate in this place one evening and I have to say that the food is regular, the attitude instead is absolutely disappointing. First of all we didn’t book with TheFork obtaining the discount and I would consider this as the only way for entering in this place because if not the prices are crazy, we spent 40 euros for eating 3 plates that were very average. At our arrival at around 22.00 there were empty places that remained empty until when we left but they put us in a table that was almost in the bathroom. When we finished to eat they showed our bill on a tablet without anything official and they told us that we could have paid with only cash. Except that was just a case I had cash but most of the people like me many times goes around without cash but at the end I paid with notes. I realized only at the end why was that, in this way they avoid to make the receipt and doing so avoiding paying taxes. So eating in in this place not using TheFork at full price without the receipt is more than expensive, I advice against going here, there are dozens of cheaper and better places around that are better option. 40 euros for 3 plates in Lisbon is almost a tourist trap.

Horrible fuyez ce restaurant malgré son sigle TripAdvisor une horreur sans nom arrivée a 13.20 servi à 15h une attente agaçante...des gens derrière nous attendaient depuis 2h aucun plat ne sortaient de cuisine. 3 erreurs dans notre commande. Plat servi froid steack Frite sans Frites remplace par du riz trop cuit à 15h10 on est parti...on a pas mangé on a laissé..on est sûr que le steak sans goût s'était du congelé

직원분들이 영어도 엄청 잘 하시고 왕 친절했습니다. 후추스테이크랑 새우밥이랑 문어구이를 먹었는데 후추와 고수의 풍미가 담긴 훌륭한 요리였습니다. 특히 새우밥 존맛!!!! 서비스랑 음식은 정말 좋았는데 양이 조금 모자랐습니다. 시큼하고 시원한 그린와인도 추천받았서 잘 마셨습니다!

All the food we got was tasteless, and the waitress kept forgetting our orders - she forgot to bring the appetizers, then she brought only one cake instead of two... And they ran out of bread when we tried to order it - funny for a place called ‘Bread 4 You’.

the Great rating must be a fake!!!
the steak had many sinews - i couldn’t eat it! the plate was unfortunately not warmed up ... food was getting cold! Pepper sauce too thin!

진짜 로컬식당같아요 리스본 5일 머무면서 세번갔는데 현지인밖에 없었어요. 현지인 단체 이약해서 식사도 하더라구요. 한번도 예약은 안했구 주말 낮 1230이후 방문, 저녁 730~830 사이에 방문 했었어요. 피크타임 맞추면 엄청 기다려야 할 것 같기도 해요.
문어 샐러드는 새콤 오일리한 맛이구 식전에+와인이랑 먹기 좋아요! 퍼먹으라구 숟가락 줬는데 포크로 먹었어요 ㅋㅋ 올리브오일 듬뿍이에요.
스테이크는 3가지인가 5가지 후추 스테이크랑 머쉬룸 어쩌고 스테이크 먹었고 둘다 나쁘지 않았어요. 입안에서 살살 녹는 맛은
아닙니다 ㅋㅋ 기본 미듐레어로 나오는거같아요. 동네 가정식..? 같은 분위기라 혼자 오ㅏ서 먹기도 나뿌지ㅡ않은거같아요.
전 추천함니다 (3,40분 기다리고 멀리서
찾아올필요는 없어요!!̆̈)

평점높아서 갔는데 직원분들 영어도 잘하시고 가게 분위기도 좋았어요. 유명한 후추스테이크 맛있고요 미디움으로 시켰는데 미듐레어도 ㄱㅊ할듯 많이 익혀나오는편. 리조또는 스파이스 치킨 소시지 이런거 써있길래 시켰는데 ??어디가 스파이시??? 그래도 맛은 있었음 크림리조또였어요. 저 소세지 막 불 파이야 하길래 싱기해서 시켜봤눈뎅 핵 짜써요 일주일치 권장섭취 낱트륨 조거 하프싸이즈면 먹을수 있다고 생각했습니다. 해외에선 쏘세지 시킬때 한번 더 띵킹해 볼 필요가 있는거 같아요^^!!! 친절하고 좋았슴다

O desapontamento total. Nenhum dos pratos satisfez, o bacalhau à lagareiro é um desastre sem sabor, o risoto não é bem risotto, é algo parecido, as gambas com paprika de entrada são caras e vulgares, as sobremesas sem destaque e a lista de vinhos tem preços absurdos em vinhos de 3 euros no supermercado. Enfim, tratar-se de um espaço para enganar turistas. O serviço é cordial, competente e muito simpático. O espaço é bonito e acolhedor.

Excellent food, wine and service. I had the bacalhau and my wife went with the octopus that many reviews mention. Both are highly recommended. The Volte Face dry white made for a very nice pairing.

문어구이요리랑 후추소스 스테이크 먹었습니다. 문어는 매우 부드럽고 맛있었구요 스테이크도 맛있었어요. 스테이크 굽기를 선택할 수 있었는지는 모르겠지만 미디움 웰던상태로 나오더라구요. 나쁘지 않았어요. Douro 라는 이름이 들어간 화이트와인 마셨는데 진짜 맛있었어요. 웨이터도 친절하고 음식 맛도 좋아서 만족스러웠습니다.

We had a very enjoyable evening. Great food (all the reviews saying to try the octopus, are spot on, it was amazing!) fresh and tasty sangria, and knowledgeable staff, that are confident enough in their dishes, that they know when to tell you "no, you shouldn't substitute this dish, it'll ruin it". The only issue was when the electricity went (wasn't their fault, it went in half of the streets in the area) it added to the cosy vibe, and they just lit a bunch of candles! The reason I scored 4 stars, was because the place is called bread 4 you, so we were expecting a mind blowing bread basket with our starter. Instead we recived a selection of tasty, but slightly stale bead. Only disappointment of the evening.
Would definitely eat here again. If you're going after 8 make sure you have a reservation!

Restaurant assez petit mais très convivial, plats très bons, le poulpe et le risotto aux crevettes étaient excellents, apéritifs entrée plats pour 2 et 1 dessert pour 65€. Assez convenable pour un repas du soir. A recommander

Semplicemente meraviglioso. Piccolo posto caldo e accogliente con personale gentilissimo che sa come offrire un servizio di qualità e coccolare il cliente. Pasto delizioso e prezzo super competitivo (abbiamo usufruito dell'offerta di the fork e prenotato il nostro tavolo tramite l'app).
Da ammirare lo staff che sa conversare in diverse lingue con i suoi clienti e che sa cosa proporre e consigliare.
Con un antipasto misto (formaggi e salumi) due secondi piatti con contorni (completi e buonissimi) e due portate di dessert questo locale mi ha affascinato e catturato. Stra consigliato per chi cerca un piccolo ristorante che offre qualità unità a un servizio degno di nota.

Abbiamo preso polpo con riso e sformato con baccala e patate. Entrambi dovevano essere dominati dal sapore del mare, ma il sapore di mare si sentiva molto lontano... A Lisbona si mangia bene a prezzi contenuti, questo posto non e all altezza.

We were here on new years eve for dinner, and it was great. We had a great new years eve 4 course meal, inluding all drinks (water, sparkling wine, wine, coffee), and carla, the owner gave us a very warm welcome.
We only can recommend this little restaurant!

A cozy little cafe hidden down a back street away from the main shopping street. The service here was slightly better than most and Speaking English was fine here. We had ordered 2 mains and about 3 appetizers, which set us back about €50 which is very pricey for the quality of food.
The steak was fairly overdone borderline towards medium well instead of the recommended medium rare. It also comes pre topped with a mustard seed dressing on it.
The mushroom risotto was very underwhelming. It was served late and yet the rice was undercooked and still fairly flavorless. It wasn’t creamy nor was it rich in fragrance.
In summary, I would recommend this place to someone looking for a quick bite to go, however if you’re looking for something that is worth a short de tour for a bite, this is not the place for you.

Little gem of a restaurant hidden away in what seems like a backstreet. We didn't have a reservation but the staff tried very hard to accommodate our eating hours so we could have an hour of quick dining. Octopus and lightly seared tuna were top-notch!

We order 2 dishes: Bacalhau (Cod fish) and Steak à Portuguesa. The bacalhau was tasty but really dry and hard. Looked like it was re-warmed. The steak wasn't good either.
Overall not a good experience. Didn't worth the money. Go to somewhere else...

Pick this place due to the good review but was disappointed with the fish. The salmon was very good but the vegetables were super salty. One of the waiter was ok the other didn’t smile and seem a little grumpy. She just basically drop the plate on my table.

Ho prenotato per due in questo locale, trovato tramite TripAdvisor. La serata ha superato le mie aspettative. Il locale è accogliente e ben arredato, intimo ma allo stesso tempo informale. Abbiamo ordinato una serie di stuzzichini, un antipasto e poi un secondo di pesce. Le pietanze erano davvero ottime e particolari, rispecchiavano la cultura culinaria del luogo e stuzzicavano il palato. Il personale è stato sempre gentile e attento a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. Sono rimasta davvero soddisfatta anche del rapporto qualità/prezzo. Locale davvero consigliato.

We had a lovely dinner. The little one had nice Penne Pomodoro, and we had the salmon and the bacalhau à Brás. The bacalhau was very good. In relation to other restaurants in Baixa is this a very good one!

In the alleys of the city center, beautiful cozy place with distinctive decor and unique lighting. The food was very good, in particular the Portuguese steak. The service was but kinda slow although the restaurant was almost empty.

Nice little bistro away from the crowds, and nobody on the street trying to drag you inside. There's no outside seating, but the place is very well done and comfortable.
The steak was a little tough (cut too thinly),but otherwise the for was nice (my girlfriend had the cod with egg and potatoes, which was superb).

Locale piccolo ma intimo a due passi dalle piazze principali. Servizio semplice ma personale molto gentile e preparato. Piatti davvero buoni: consigliatissimo il baccalà. Prezzi nella media ma prenotando tramite Tripadvisor o The Fork vi fanno uno sconto. In estate ci sono anche dei tavoli all'aperto.

Capitate per caso nel dehor di questo bistró nel centro di Lisbona.
Abbiamo mangiato gamberi saltati alla paprika, un crumble alle mele buonissimo e fresco (non scontato negli altri locali di Lisbona).
Il personale molto gentile e disponibile, ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo!

Accoglienza stupenda da parte della simpaticissima Sara e del resto dello staff. Ottimo antipasto di gamberi saltati alla paprika, eccellenti anche i piatti principale (polpo alla Lagareiro e burger di salmone). Rapporto qualità prezzo molto interessante.

Local agradable y personal atento. Precios algo elevados en relación a la calidad de la comida, quizá por estar tan céntrico. Es un restaurante que no está mal, pero quizá tan alta puntuación cree falsas expectativas.
La comida a mediodía nos salió por 53,60€ por una tabla de quesos, un plato de pulpo, un plato de pollo, un postre, dos copas de vino y una botella de agua. En nuestro caso la comida no estaba mala pero se pasaron en los tiempos de cocción.
Pedimos dos platos: pulpo y pechugas de pollo con queso y hierbas. El final de los tentáculos del pulpo que pedimos estaba seco y duro y las pechugas de pollo, algo secas también. El postre, crumble de manzana, estaba bueno y el vino también.

Very disappointing food experience. My wife ordered the octopus with potato and spinach. The octopus had been frozen and reheated, and actually made her vomit later. I ordered the "rack" of lamb which was actually just 3 lamb chops. Even with 30 percent off using a TripAdvisor coupon, I think the place was expensive for the portion sizes. We had gotten used to massive portion sizes at lower prices elsewhere. But at any price, I wouldn't eat there again.

Nice little restaurant with intimate decor and friendly staff. My steak was pretty forgettable — looked better than it tasted and was quite tough — but I’m confident they do other things well. Wine was really good and overall I enjoyed the restaurant’s ambiance.

Ive never had portuguish style roasted codfish somewhere other than here so obviously i cant tell if what i got was athentic or not but it tasted so good. Soft and juicy. You dont need to make a trip to visit but if youre nearby check this place out.

A great Portuguese place – not too simple but also not too fancy – that makes a killer Açorda de Camarão housed in a loaf of bread. It's right up there with some of my favourite açordas in Lisbon. The prawn starter also shouldn't be missed!

잔 와인을 시켰는데 5분의 4를 따라주는 혜자스러운 담당서버에게 감동하여 카드로 계산하고 현금으로 팁을 좀 주었습니다.
음식은 roasted cod fish 대구 스테이크가 기깔나게 맛이 있습니다. 짤까봐 걱정했는데 전혀! 생선요리가 비려서 잘 못먹는 아내가 한접시 뚝딱했습니다.
Shirimp with Bread도 주문했는데 새우도 많이들고 간도 적당해서 좋았습니다. 막판에는 조금 물렸구요.
아 옥토푸스 샐러드도 스타터로 너무 좋았습니다^^ 새콤새콤 입맛돋우는데 최고!
음식이 맛있다보니 디저트도 궁금해서 디저트까지 시켜먹고 (치즈케이크+에스프레소) 서비스로 준 진자 한잔 마시고 기분좋게 나왔습니다.
리스본에서 제일 좋았던 식사입니다.

문어 샐러드, 문어 구이와 감바스 파스타를 주문했습니다. 그러나 실제로는 문어 구이 대신 문어밥을 받았는데요, 제가 웨이터에게 항의하니 매니저가 와서는 웨이터는 두 번이나 주문을 확인했기 때문에 웨이터가 실수한 건 없고, 문어 구이를 먹고 싶으면 새로 돈을 내라고 하더군요. 제 생각에는 웨이터가 영어를 제대로 못 알아듣는 것 같습니다. 제가 음식이 잘못 나온 것을 보고 주문 내역(the list of what we've ordered)을 보여달라고 하니 웨이터가 list?라고 하며 메뉴판을 가져다 줬거든요;; 주문할 때 저는 분명 grilled octopus 라고 했는데 웨이터는 octopus만 듣고 문어밥으로 체크한 것 같아요. 웨이터가 사과도 안 하고 음식도 새로 갖다주지 않아서 그냥 울며 겨자먹기로 먹었습니다. 두 번이나 컴플레인 걸어도 식당 측의 태도는 변하지 않았어서요. 맛은 나쁘진 않았지만 인근의 다른 식당에 비하면 그렇게 엄청 맛있는 것도 아니고 서비스도 별로여서 추천드리지 않습니다. 차라리 다른 곳에 가시길 바라요..

I ordered the Bife a la Portuguesa and nearly died...of happiness! It's the best dish I've had in a long, long time and want to come back again without blinking. Try this dish!! It is espectacular.
I also sampled the rissotto and gambas and was pretty amazing as well.

오후 6시에 방문했고,첫테이블이었어요.문어구이15.5 와인은 추천받아 3.5 입니다. 문어구이가 짜지도 않고 고수도 장식용 몇가닥이라 전혀문제 없었어요. 직원분이 너무 친절해서 20유로 내고 잔돈 안받았어요.포르투갈 첫 문어요리였는데 완전 추천합니다. 로컬식당 느낌 으로 자그마한 곳이니 너무 늦지않게 꼭 들려보세요

저녁7시쯤 방문했고 첫테이블이였어요 현금 카드결제 되고 작은 가게입니다 직원도 친절하고 음식도 굿. 새우리조또, 문어구이, 새우파스타, 스타터에있는 새우와 빵 메뉴 시키거 물2, 오렌지주스, 와인한잔해서 66유로. 소금 적게래달라고했고 모두 다 추천할 메뉴였어요. 특히 매우연한 문어구이와 스타터 메뉴에있는 새우+빵(수란이 올려져있음) 여기 단점은 화장실 변기커버가 없다는 점.

I would rate this place 4,5 stars, hence that rating doesn’t exist I went for 5. They lost 0,5 stars in my opinion at the quality of the steak, as Portugal kinda sets a quality standard for beef, this one was not from the top bracket. The cheese and salami platter was good, the risotto was nice and the serving was fairly decent. I recommend this place for the warm atmosphere, good selection of wines and central location.

Risotto with sausage was hearty and delicious. Server recommended a fine bottle of wine which was thoroughly enjoyed. Appetizer of cheeses and meats was terrific. Want to go back someday soon.

Awesome- we typically try to stay away from main tourist areas. However we were hungry and i needed to sit down.
While there was no one at the restaurant, we decide to go in based on reviews. Glad we did; service was attentive. Food was delicious, we had the shrimp and garlic and the octopus salad- so yummy. I also ordered the Portuguese steak which was good. Overall, happy to have dined here for lunch on our last day. The young lady asked about how I like my wine; and recommended based on feedback. Did not disappoint.

Food was good. The tuna steak was something different but it was nice ( would have loved it if it wasnt cooked all the way through and just seared ) loved the mash with tomatoes too. The Portugese steak was Yums too. Portions were huge. They dont serve tap water so bring your own or order a bottle of water. Most restaurants done serve you tap water and even if they do often you seem to get judged for it. Ordered a beer instead, same price and more flavour :) All restaurants in Portugal charge for bread , cheese and dips , its not cheap. Somehow they don't seem to happy when you decline their bread and cheese in Europe. Keto diets wont be a thing here.

I should have seen trip advisor’s review before going to this horrible place. 4 weeks ago another customer said the manager was “pig”. Waitresses are so nice so I wish I could give them a better review but the manager was TERRIBLE! We asked for a simple green salad minus the salmon (which was part of the original salad) and the waitress said they can do it but the manager came back later since supposedly there was a confusion. Waitress understood and spoke English well but manager (with broken English) had to confirm it all again. Until then, it was understandable but he was so annoyed afterward somehow. As if he was offended that we didn’t want salmon in a salad! In addition, we asked for ketchup and salt... he gave a nasty look and ignored us after bringing us ketchup we had to walk up to waitress to bring a check. I would not recommend this place in no circumstances.

음식은 사진과 같이 주문했고, 콜라와 물 작은병을 시켰습니다. 문어요리는 시금치와 찐감자가 같이 나왔고 간은 적당했습니다. 세가지 후추소스 스테이크는 고기가 약간 잘 썰리지 않는 느낌이었지만 비계가 적은 부위라 그런것 같았습니다. 맛은 후추소스가 독특해서 새로운 맛이라 괜찮았습니다.
한 가지 조금 마음을 불편하게 했던 것은 잔돈이 5유로 정도가 나왔는데, 50센트짜리로 주었던 것입니다. 어떤 의미인지 정확하게 알지는 못하지만 불편한 기분이 들었기 때문에 별점을 적게 주려고 합니다. 개인적인 상식선에서는 잘 이해되지 않은 부분인데 이게 통상적인 것인지는 잘 모르겠네요. 불친절하다고는 못 느꼈는데 참고해서 방문하시면 좋겠습니다. 이 나라 매너에 어긋나는 것을 하지는 않았는데,,, 설마 디저트를 먹지 않아서 일까요?ㅅㅂ...

Sehr fein und lecker! Direkt in der Innenstadt aber trotzdem nicht so touristisch (ohne diese standardisierten Menükarten!) . Das Essen war traditionell aber modern serviert. Wir haben Antipasti mit Käse, Bachalau und Steak gegessen und es war alles gut aromatisiert und hat sehr fein geschmeckt. Die Sangria war frisch gemacht und hat prima geschmeckt. Nur zu empfehlen.

문어밥 시켜먹었는데 고수 향이 너무 심하고 짜고 무슨맛인지 모르겠어요. 현지인 맛집이라고 써있어서 갔는데 주변에 세테이블 있었는데 다 관광객이었어요. 결제는 현금으로만 돼요. 문어밥 하나 먹어서 13.5유로가 나왔는데 20.5유로를 줬더니 자긴 동전 안받는다고 20유로만 가져가더니 50센트는 10센트짜리로 5개 줬어요. 기분도 안좋고 밥도 맛없고 좋지 않은 경험이었습니다.

Locale rustico ma anche raffinato. Molto bello esteticamente. È un mix tra la tipica "bottega da vicolo portoghese" e un ristorante. Una ventina di posti. Si consiglia la prenotazione. Prenotando con "the fork" si può ottenere uno sconto. Il cibo è molto buono. I gusti sono ben marcati. L'aglio è abbondante, ma risulta comunque buono. Le porzioni sono medie, ovvero è consigliabile mangiare un piatto intero e dividerne un secondo. I prezzi sono intermedi, ovvero con 23€ si hanno: birra, primo, 1/2 secondo e acqua.

구글맵으로 예약하고 갔는데 9시가 넘어도 손님이 가득가득 많았어요. 장소가 조금 협소했다는 단점이 있었지만 서버들도 매우 친절했고 음식도 맛있었습니다. 여행 첫날부터 이 레스토랑을 알았다면 최소 2번 이상도 갈 수 있었을텐데 마지막 저녁식사 때 방문해서 너무 아쉬웠어요.
식사는 문어샐러드, 후추소스 스테이크, 새우리조또를 먹었는데 고수는 빼달라고 하고 소금도 좀 덜 넣어달라고 했어요. 그럼에도 살짝 짰지만... 다른 식당에 비하면 아주 우수한 맛이었습니다! 와인도 꽤 괜찮은 편이었어요.
다시 리스본에 방문한다면 꼭 다시 가보고 싶습니다!!!

Très déçus de ce restaurant. Nous y sommes allés car les commentaires que nous avions lus et les photos vues nous on donné l’envie d’aller le tester.
Nous avons été extrêmement surpris mais pas dans le bon sens ! Le plat de riz au poulpes un véritable scandale , du soit disant poulpe dans l’assiette ressemblant plus à du calamar décongelé très caoutchouteux, les morceaux tellement petits qu’il fallait les chercher... La moindre des choses aurait été de nous dire au moment de la commande que ça n’était pas du poisson frais et que les morceaux étaient petits.
En comparaison aux nombreux restaurants que nous avons fait durant notre séjour dans lequel nous avons mangé du vrai poulpe frais,celui ci est vraiment pas recommandable.
Pareil pour le steak de thon, tranche très fine et petite, rien de sensationnel.
Être à Lisbonne au « pays du poisson » et manger du poisson certainement surgelé est un scandale.
Dommage que nous n’ayons n’ai pas pris de photos tellement nous avons été insatisfaits, les photos que nous avons pu voir dans d’autres avis nous paraissent dépassées ou alors le chef a changé entre temps.
Nous sommes partis après le plat sans prendre la peine de prendre le dessert de peur d’avoir encore une mauvaise surprise.
Je ne recommande pas du tout cet endroit.

Los platos estaban muy bien cocinados, a destacar el pulpo que además de sabroso tenía una textura muy tierna, difícil de encontrar en este producto. Respecto a la calidad de la comida y la estética del local quedamos muy satisfechos, pero lo que realmente nos decepcionó fue el trato del personal que nos atendió, haciendo que la experiencia en general fuese incómoda y de poco agrado. En conclusión,si buscáis un sitio menos turístico para comer en el centro de Lisboa es totalmente recomendable, pero personalmente no repetiríamos por el pésimo trato recibido.

Ristorante molto curato e moderno, si può prenotare tramite the fork ricevendo uno sconto sul totale da pagare. Abbiamo ordinato due piatti di carne con contorno di patate, un dolce, un caffè, due birre e un acqua per un totale di 44€. Servizio ottimo e personale cordiale. Tutti piatto erano molto buoni. Consiglio di prenotare prima di andare perché il locale non è molto grande. Tempi di attesa nella norma, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Tried the steak with the potatoes - the steak was a bit over cooked but the potatoes were fantastic. The sangria was great and so were the staff. My only complaint was, ironically, the bread. It was really dry and chewy, and the accompanying spreads were completely tasteless.

Weird place with awful service and low-quality food. We ordered a chicken plain breast, but we got chicken breast stuffed with sausages etc. We asked to change the dish and they just cut exactly this meat and fried with oil and garlic to reduce the smell of stuff which was inside.
I wouldn't recommend this place also because of strange smell, that is inside the restaurant.
I'am absolutely disliked this place and will never come back.

Poor service and small skimpy portions. Very overrated! Our rude waitress had such attitude she was trying to tell us what we should order from the menu. We knew what we wanted but she was insisting we should choose we she wants, crazy!!!!! Also when we asked her to chill the wine she made up some story that she couldn't and that this is not possible in Portugal. The portions are very small that I needed a burger afterwards. Not impressed!!

Excellent little bistro. So pleased we found it tucked away in a quiet street. The host and staff are warm, welcoming and helpful. The food is magnificent. My husband had the roast octopus and rated it one of the best meals he has ever had. We thoroughly recommend this charming, delicious restaurant.

Local pequeño aunque muy agradable y con ambiente muy romántico para cenas en pareja. De precio es un poco más barato que bares y restaurantes que hay por la zona si quieres probar la comida típica. Gente muy amable y servicial. Saben español. Sin duda volveremos!!!

Sehr gemütlicher Ort für feines Essen. Etwas versteckt und abgelegen in einer Nebenstrasse. Es lohnt sich aber sehr, da das Essen in Relation zum Preis-Leistungsverhältnis wirklich super ist.

Dopo qualche giorno gironzolando in giro per Lisbona cercando un ristorante all'altezza delle aspettative di un italiano medio ci imbattiamo (con qualche aiutino) in questo carinissimo bistro. Il menù incorniciato e molto lumionoso all esterno del locale ci invita ad entrare insieme al sorriso del cameriere che ci viene incontro! Locale piccolo ma che merita davvero una visita. Molto tradizionale e tutt'altro che turistico. Menù accattivante con una vasta scelta e traduzione (importante). Abbiamo optato per due secondi di carne: un filetto di pollo in crosta con riso flambè e bistecca in crema di funghi con patate. E che dire ..come se non bastasse ci sorprendono con i dolci; vere e proprie opere d'arte! Mousse di mascarpone con frutti di bosco e wafer e crème brule! Il personale davvero gentile e alla mano,abbiamo subito prenotato per la sera seguente. Consiglio vivamente per superare la fame da vacanza all'estero!

Una sera portoghese nella' anima.....
La prima sera a lisbona abbiamo provato questo ristorantino.... Una vera 'chicca' tra tutti i locali turistici.... Troppo finti e poco portoghesi... Cena con sapori veri... Piatti abbondanti nella media... I dolci super!!!! L accoglienza è il servizio sono la ciliegina sulla torta... I ragazzi meritano tutti i complimenti del caso.... Da provare senza dubbi!!!

Very nice place also if it's a little space, great hospitality from the manager. Food is very good, very good white wine with gewurtraminer grapes. Not expensive. The pity was for the menú because inside of it I found a piece of something to eat stuck In there.

Super kind and friendly people inside.
Restaurant is opened druing siesta, where other are closed which is cool.
Food was so good (steak and chicken breast), that we decided to stay for dessert and it was delicious.
We had 30% discount by making reservation with trip advisor and it was well respected.
Paid less then 30€ because od that for food, drinks, dessert, coffe (2 poeple).
After we finished and paid, we had great small talk with a guy working there and he suggested few places to visit, how to get there by train etc. - super cool from him, we are really glad.

Buena comida a un precio moderado, un poco más cara que otros locales de la zona. Pequeño local en una céntrica zona pero un poco alejado del barullo de la calle Augusta. Pescado muy rico. Merce la pena para cenar con un buen vino.

Incredible value for money! I definitely recommend the octopus, it was just perfection in a plate!

The welcoming and service is very good, but the food was not that good, I really do not understand how reviews are giving 5 stars to something that is less than normal. The plate I ordered was shrimp in bread and was filled with garlic. The 2 stars are only for the friendliness of the staff and not the food

Great prices. Drinks a starter and a main for 20€ each was a great deal. Our cheese board was amazing. Unfortunately our mains were just so so. Service was a bit too casual for our liking, too.

Great restaurant. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff extremely friendly. We had traditional Portuguese cheese board for starters, and shrimp and clams in fettuccine pasta and octopus with garlic olive oil with potatoes. The octopus was amazing, delicate and cooked to perfection. The pasta was also great. Both dishes were very filling. They also have great selection if wines. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting.

Après avoir réservé sur le site la fourchette à l'avance, on ne peut même pas occuper une table sur la terrasse alors que nous sommes deux...
Venus ici après avoir lu les commentaires, je m'attendais à des assiettes copieuses... Mon copain n'était pas rassasié alors que nous avions payé 30€ à deux. Plus cher que beaucoup de restaurants autour qui sont tout aussi bons.
Bref, après les serveurs sont sympathiques. Placé au centre-ville on ne peut même pas payer par carte bancaire dans ce restau alors que nous sommes en 2017...
Restau pas fait pour les gros mangeurs même si on sent que les produits sont frais !

Siamo stati consigliati dalla nostra guida e possiamo dire di essere stati molto contenti del nostro pranzo.
Locale piccolo e familiare con arredamento misto, con un rapporto qualità prezzo molto elevata. I piatti da noi provati sono il Bacalhau à bras, Bife à Portoguesa, Polvo a Lagareiro, tutti ottimi e abbondanti. Servizio molto cordiale e attento. Una piccola sorpresa finale: un bicchierino di cioccolato pieno di Ginjinia!!! Lo consigliamo vivamente.

I had a great meal here. The feta cheese salad was fresh, the salmon was cooked beautifully, and the pork tenderloin was wonderful. Nice street seating in the middle of old Lisbon. The staff were great too. I recommend giving this place a try.

Chose this nice little restaurant based on other reviews. I ordered pork wrapped in bacon and my wife chose the salt cod in the bread bowl. After we chose mains we picked the shrimp starter. This caused a slight glitch as their ordering system sent our mains order to the kitchen already. The waiter raced to the kitchen to stop them. Shrimp starter was tasty. On the mains the kitchen sent out a shrimp bread bowl instead of the salt cod. Even though she wanted to try the salt cod we chose the to keep the shrimp one instead of wasting it and waiting for a replacement. We were charged the lower priced one. Lastly we received complimentary ginjinha in chocolate cups. Server and assistant were very friendly and professional.

This was a great restaurant for lunch, just off one of the main shopping streets. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the food was great! Mushroom risotto got 2 rave reviews and the house speciality of hollowed out loaf of bread made into a seafood sauce was delicious. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Love this place! Cozy and nice ambience, with really Friendly staff. I really enjoyed my white wine pasta with prawns! They were Super generous with the prawns, unlike many other restaurants! Would come back here to eat the same dish :)

Petit restaurant dans l'hypercentre de Lisbonne, excellente cuisine et prix raisonnables y compris le verre de vin à partir de 2 euros. Nous y sommes retourné une 2ème fois lors de notre séjour de 4 jours, ce qui est rare pour nous... Arriver tôt ou réserver (le jour même hors saison) car même hors saison il était complet.
