Pizza com massa pouco crocante!

Certainement la pire pizza de ma vie. Même les pizzas surgelées de supermarché sont meilleure. Ils ont même réussit l'exploit de servir une pizza soit disant "cuite au feu de bois" molle... Les garnitures sont clairement du surgelées.
C'est un piège à touriste que je ne recommanderais même pas à mon pire ennemi.

highly recommend this place. The food, the wine, the capuccino were amazing. The staff extremely polite, thoughtful and friendly. If you want Italian in Lisnon, this is the restaurant to choose.

Came in for a pre-dinner drink. Good and friendly service in a place that seems generic albeit nice. They really surprised me with a good selection of light punk music in Portuguese which you wouldn’t expect in a place like this.

Great food, big portions and extremely nice personal. They are very tourist and foreigner friendly. Our host spoke a little Dutch and tried some words. One of the best experiences ever in traveling. The price is also very fair.

El lugar es lindo. Tienen un horno a leña.
La comida rica. La pizza muy buena, masa super fina.
La atención no fue de lo mejor, creo que el mesero que nos atendió no estaba en un buen día. Los demás se veían mas atentos y amables.

Un dimanche pluvieux à Lisbonne, comme une envie de vraie pizza AVPN avant l'escalade... Eh bien direction la Mercantina. L'accueil est frais mais tout à fait courtois, on ne touche pas aux gressins posés sur la table (il est clairement marqué sur la carte qu'ils seraient facturés) et on commande une Margherita DOP (margherita de buffala donc). Résultat: pâte excellente, cuisson un trop peu poussée sur les trottoirs pour une pizza napolitaine, la mozza est agréablement lactée, la tomate légèrement acidulée comme on l'aime. On se régale. Les prix correspondant à la qualité des produits, on s'en sort pour 13,50 la pizza. Pas forcément "bon marché", pas ridicule non plus. Pas le meilleur plan de la ville, mais ça tient ses promesses

Really amazed whit this restaurant's quality! Here I had the best ravioli so far. They have a great selection of dishes and not just the tipical pizza and pasta. Pay attention to the list, there are dishes that are made at the moment (like the pasta itself) so I advise you to go for those ones because they're fresher and probably tastier. Try the limonade! Best I ever tasted! The staff is quite good and so the environment. Totally recommended.

Great place to eat Italian food. It's awesome for pizza. The pizza is great with amazing dough and fresh tasty ingredients. The pesto and parsley sauce are amazing. The olive oil is not the best. For beverages I tried Italian wine, which was smooth and got along well with pizza. Overall is €€€ bit is worth to try.

The ravioli was really good. The pizza was good. Though the price you pay isn't justifiable. The mozzarella that is claimed to be fine buffalo it probably was but not a very special di Buffala. The taste wasn't as special as a di Buffala de campagna is. I lived in Campagna almost a year eating pizza di Buffala very often. The price you pay here therefore isn't justifiable

El restaurante es bonito. Hemos pedido para cenar rissotto e hongos y pizza de salami. Han tardado un poco, pero lo normal si no están los platos precocinados.
El rissotto estaba muy bueno, incluso el aroma que desprendía. La pizza es de masa muy fina y tal y como indicaba en la carta y nos ha confirmado el camarero (Muy agradable pese a la dificultad del idioma) picaba ligeramente.
El precio muy bueno.

Já tinha visitado várias vezes o espaço no chiado, era mais frequente ir à mercantina em Alvalade. Já tive experiências menos agradáveis no espaço do chiado, algumas pela comida, a maioria pelo atendimento (daí ter deixado de ir ao espaço dp chiado)...hoje fomos atendidas pela Nina (fiz questão de perguntar o nome), uma simpatia, boa profissional, sempre muito atenta. A sangria tinta é óptima, comida boa, embora nada de surpreendente (prato do dia, não é habitual nem consta na carta) mas o atendimento fez toda a diferença. 4 estrelas por isso...que espero que se mantenha.

Pizzas de massa fina, salpicadas de queimaduras (carbonizadas) das faúlhas do carvão, com recheio banal. Eramos 4 pessoas e todas as 4 pizzas vieram assim. Olhei à volta e acho que é o "estilo da casa". Na minha fui retalhando e rejeitando a massa queimada (quase todo o rebordo e parte da face debaixo (para isso, dobrei-a, tipo calzone).
Não provei nem as pastas nem os risotos mas, para pizza, não recomendo.
Pessoal é simpático.

it looks like a nice place and definitely it is, but the space is limited (tables are very close so you find yourself following the conversations of your neighbors). Pizzas are so so, other dishes are flavourless as well. Honestly, their portions are big enough. Their service is slow, but the bar works well.

Pizzas would of been decent if they hadn't been burnt. Refused to serve tap water, only plastic water in single use bottles, not very environmentally friendly. Single servings of bread sticks in plastic wrappings were a nasty surprise to see how much we were charged afterwards. Desserts looked pretentious, although were reported to be nice by those who weren't in a bad mood by that point in the meal and keen just to get out of the place!

NO RECOMENDABLE. No se merecen el distintivo de “Vera pizza napolitana”. Masa cruda, pizza fría y con pocos ingredientes. Precio demasiado alto. Local muy bonito pero no saben cocinar pizza. Hasta los típicos grissini (que te los cobran) estaban rotos. No entiendo como pueden tener 4 locales funcionando en Lisboa

Degustei um saboroso risoto con funghi misti e rosmarino e meu marido um excelente spaghetti com gamberetti. Fomos muito bem atendidos por CAMILA, que bem detalhou os pratos e as sobremesas. Ambiente agradável e bastante frequentado, tanto por grupos de jovens, como por casais. Lugar a ser revisitado muitas vezes.

Unglaublich gut, Überraschung des Tages. Carbonara war selbst gemacht und kein convinience food Präparat (nicht mehr selbstverständlich heutzutage) und das Apple Crumble zum Schluss war fantastisch. Komme diesen Urlaub sicher nochmal hierher! ;)

Amazing Italian restaurant. I arrived with a large group over ten. We were seated and our orders taken in less than 10 mins. The cocktails were amazing, large and alcoholic. We ordered sharing starters and they were delicious Bruschetta. When our pizzas arrived they were magnificent. Stone baked oven cooked, delicious fresh ingredients. No one member of the party had any complaints. It worked out very reasonable about 25 a head. This is one reasturant out of three located around Lisbon. Enjoy.

You have to pay for the Grissini (bread sticks) which are on every table!! We did not Know this - in my oppinion outrageous.
Everything on the Ceasar Salad was way too dry (chicken as well).
The pizza had a great dough. But nevertheless the covering was cold - so that the whole pizza was getting cold real quick - and it was too much covering on top. Beverages were ok. Service could be better!

This is yet another restaurant that is of very high quality and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Food is great, service is quick, the prices are somewhat on the high side but are compensated by the value you receive.
The owner of the restaurant was present when we visited and he went around the tables asking if we are satisfied and if we have any comments. He was not doing it as a must do but rather someone who is really caring for the people and really honest.
I have visited this place twice as the food was really good. The pictures will give you an idea why it is definitely worth eating there.

I like San Pelegrino the most at this restaurant. Pizza is the worst I have ever tried! They burned it from the bottom, so when you eat it you feel bitter taste. Mozzarella cheese is not melted enough, prosciutto is not real prosciutto, just ham from closes supermarket (I asked the waitress before ordering to clarify which ‘prosciutto’ they use). Fungi are dry, but still uncooked. The price for this was 11€

Fomos jantar no dia dos namorados e valeu a pena. O espaço estava muito romântico, à luz das velas e muito acolhedor.
O atendimento foi muito simpático e da comida então, nem se fala! 5*****
Pedimos um risotto de farinheira que estava espetacular, talvez o melhor que já comi e também um risotto de Lambrusco que surpreendeu pela positiva.
Para beber, uma sangria branca, que achei um pouco doce demais mas poderá ser apenas o meu gosto.
Recomendo muito este espaço! Parabéns!

Atendentes pouco perdidos, porém um brasileiro salvou a noite com seu ótimo atendimento, o risoto de polvo poderia ser menos apimentado dando mais sabor, demoram muito para atenderem os pedidos....
Na segunda vez que fomos, foram um pouco mais atenciosos e rápidos nos pedidos então acredito que estavam na noite anterior, muito enrolados devido a semana de final de ano .
A comida é boa bem feita, porém sempre tem uma pessoa na equipe que não está de acordo e acaba atrapalhando todo um trabalho ...

I'm from north east England and am used to massive amounts of Italian restaurant experiences, inNewcastle upon Tyne. Normally the same old same, but I have been here twice in 3 days and was very impressed by the diverse and delicious menu
Theirs a little story to be told here too. I thought initially the owner was a bit arrogant when first entering the place, with his, 'your English and your foods not good '(my grandad ran the best fish and chip shop in Middlesbrough in my books) and food inventiveness in England is massive, but still times change Top marks to you Mr Mercantina owner, waiters and great cooks all round and bloody good value, got here late and was still served really quickly And had no problem asking for my pizza to be 'not charred'.

Unfortunately completely overwhelmed.... Normally my standards arent that high but at this time i have to write some words:
wrong food, wrong drinks, very long waiting times, wrong bill, the burger was less than english (my girlfriend ordered well done) and the pizza was not well baked.
Maybe they had a bad day but at this day it was a desaster. We observed other tables and they struggled with the same problems.
There is potential for a nice restaurant but the should start to use it.

Bedienung - 5 Sterne (Guter und aufmerksamer Service)
Preis - 3 Sterne
Geschmack - 3 Sterne
Lokalität - 3 Sterne (sehr eng, wenn man an einen zwei Tisch gesetzt wird, wo die Bedienung die ganze Zeit drumherum rennt)
Fazit: kann man machen, muss man aber nicht - Pizza würde ich meiden!

A comida é muito bem confecionada, a qualidade dos produtos é de altíssima qualidade, destaco a pizza Dalla Terra, soberba, e o Spaghetti al Nero, para sobremesa, Abacaxi al Limoncello, uma verdadeira delícia, com um sabor único, também destaco a deliciosa sangria com frutos vermelhos. O espaço do restaurante é muito agradável, e com a cozinha à vista, os empregados são atenciosos e muito simpáticos. Gostei muito, aconselho vivamente! Welcoming, multilingual staff, and good food too. Not the best pizza you have ever tasted (but then, only one will be) but definitely a good bang for your buck. Nice atmosphere as well. In Portugal they like their base quite burnt, so make sure you tell them not to blacken the bottom so much or else all you will taste is Charr. The ingredients are of high quality but I am not convinced by their execution. I had to return my first batch of pizza. Also their basil plant is too mature, this means basil leaves have a high content of oils which makes it very very bitter and inedible. They should at least check to pick the younger leaves out or change plant. I know this because I used to grow a lot of herbs. The service was very good though. Average €12.50 for a pizza that's not really at high standard is my conclusion.
