Revisited today after 2 years and it's still as good as i rembered. Food is phenomenal and stuff very friendly. The best indian restaurant i know.

This was a restaurant experience I wont soon forget! Me and my partner ate here or Sunday night and it had to be the best Indian Cuisine we have ever tasted! It didn't end there, the customer service was absolutely fantastic and I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone else I know that visits Lisbon. Will definitely be back before I fly out.

Lovely eclectic Nepalese styled restaurant. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Waiter was very helpful and friendly. Will certainly return when I get the chance. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

Amazing food, Amazing service. The staff go all out to make the experience a good one. I would suggest booking a table as there are limited seats, but this simply makes it that much more sought after. Lunch menu deals are also a steal.

What a surprise, this little gem in Anjos is the proper place to eat a good Nepalese meal. The food is unbelievable and you have a vast selection. The service was fantastic. There are not many tables, book before you come. I’ll be back fore sure.

This is a must visit in Lisbon. The food is amazing and the warmth of the host makes the experience just that much better.
The currys have complementary rice. The quality and quantity of rice is very good. The host made us feel extremely comfortable. His pleasant demeanor made our evening.

I have visited Leo over 50 times in the last two years. No restaurant is perfect for everyone, however. Leo has the primary elements of a reliable place to eat = clean, consistency, and clarity of service. A family business, the owners, Prakash and Shuresha. are ever present to ensure high quality. I like bold flavors and I never disappointed at Leo. For those who like spicy, Leo will be a great choice. For those who do not do spicy, just tell Shuresha and the staff will accommodate. It is not the Hard Rock Cafe...please support small, family owned, businesses in Lisbon..or anywhere. Cheers!

I had a fantastic time in this cozy little Indian restaurant. The food is authentic and really delicious. My favorite part was the 10 different types of goblets they had for each drink. The waiter was really friendly and attentive, the vibes were good, the food is relatively cheap.

We didn't expect this place to serve good food. However, it surprised us a lot. We arrived to Lisbon very late and we went to this restaurant to have dinner. The girls working there were very nice, welcoming and the food was very good!!!

Service was pleasant and attentive, but unfortunately the food is overpriced and bland.
Our table had thalis, which as a previous reviewer mentioned, are honestly tiny, nay mean. Each pot of curry is ramekin-sized!
As a British person I am spoiled with decent curry back home. I often find that curry in other countries are toned down to suit local preferences. Leo is yet another example of this.

Lecker war es. Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe aufgrund der guten Bewertungen dort und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Es wird eine eher milde, europäisierte indische Küche serviert, die sehr schmackhaft und aufgrund der eher geringen Schärfe auch für Kinder geeignet ist. Ohne dabei langweilig zu wirken. Dabei sind die Namen der Gerichte teilweise etwas verwirrend, lehnen sie sich doch an Länder aus aller Welt an. Am Ende war es jedoch indische Küche. Der Laden selbst ist sehr klein, trotzdem hat man uns auch mit 8 Leuten gut untergebracht, das auch noch Recht gemütlich. Preislich bleibt alles in einem sehr überschaubaren Rahmen, auch die Getränke sind sehr fair bepreist. Absolutes Highlight ist jedoch das sehr freundliche Servicepersonal, das uns am Ende noch die Reste einpackte und jedem eine kleine Flasche Wasser für den Weg mitgab. So fühlt man sich einfach wohl. Bedingungslose Empfehlung, wir kommen sicher noch mal wieder!

This lovely restaurant was just round the corner from our hotel and due to the previous reviews we decided to visit. The atmosphere was friendly and the staff we helpful and engaging. The food was fresh and cooked to order and we service was quick. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting and if staying closer to the centre of Lisbon it is worth the metro or tram ride, the 28 tram has a stop about 10 minutes away.

Realmente alucinante. Aunque fuimos en un día de mucho calor y no nos decidimos por el tandoor, elegimos curries que estaban riquísimos, con mención aparte para la exquisitez del de cordero. El Lasi de mango es adictivo. Muy amables en la atención. Nos dejamos aconsejar, y todo estaba buenísimo, y no era lo más caro. Para subir hay que subir una pendiente pronunciada, pero vale la pena. Fuera de la zona turística. Cuando vuelva a Lisboa, haré lo posible por volver

This restaurant is very great! The only downside is it is small. I ordered the mushroom soup which was excellent as well as the chicken chowmain. I couldn't finish the chowmain because the soup was very thick and filling but they gladly wrapped it up for me. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. We got free bread with sauces and they give you a really interesting mix at the end to freshen your breath. Quality food. People write that the prices are high but I think for Indian food it's reasonable. Also a very extensive menu. Highly recommend!

Atendimento horrível, liguei para marcar um jantar no dia 2 de dezembro para o dia 31 de dezembro, não tinham preço fixo e disseram que dentro de dois dias iam dar uma resposta, passado uma semana liguei novamente para saber o preço do jantar e confirmar a reserva , pessoa que me atendeu não é nada profissional, em vez de explicar situação como deve ser e pedir desculpas por tempo de espera não , disse que não aceitam reservas. E não podiam avisar logo quando eu liguei pela primeira vez ???????????????? Tinha que esperar uma semana de chamada para ser mal tratada ??? não aconselho este sítio horrível, há restaurantes muito melhores no rossio com os empregados simpáticos ao contrário de aquela mal educada .Eu escrevi o meu comentário em português por isso gostaria ter resposta na mesma língua, obrigada

We tried this place during our tour to Lisbon. We came with great expectation going by the reviews. We tried the vegetarian and non vegetarian thali. The vegetable curry served in both meals was cold and tasted stale. We even conveyed the same to the staff.
The basmati (Jeera) rice and lentil soup tasted great and were the saving grace for the night. Chicken curry was very bland.
Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Small place with delicious food.
Everything is prepared and served with dedication and simpathy with always a smile. The food is really tasty, there is only one person serving so it might take a bit but it is worthy. The prices are not cheap but the experience is positive and good. I recommend it.

We have tried Indian all around the world, and this place definitely stood out. The staff working were really lovely and attentive, but never overbearing. It was a really lovely experience in terms of taste and service. Though it was a Nepali Indian restaurant the taste was absolutely delicious and mouth watering. Spicy the way we want or you can say the Indian food should be. We had there dim sum and thali. Which was great with mango Lassi and of course Indian Beer. Loved the place and people. Thanks

went out here for dinner with my sister tonight and we had an amazing experience. the food is super well priced for the amounts that you get!
one of our spring rolls was a little burned and the chef made us a new one, though we didn't even ask for it, it didn't really bother us but he wanted to, so kind!
at the end we both got a free bottle of water & one girl was running the entire place BY HERSELF the whole night, thumbs up for her.
5 stars without any doubt, we highly recommend this place.

What an amazing place. This is a very small restaurant but the service and quality of food is some of the best I have had. My wife is not a curry lover but when we go to Hong Kong we always eat at the Nepalese mess, the food at Leo is better. For the quality of food you would expect to pay much more.

Tiny place service really tasty Indian food but very expensive. Probably the most expensive Indian food we had during our month long stay in Portugal. During our visits to lisbon we choose Leo as per the recommendations by our friend. It was great the best meal we ever had and a warm hospitality by our great Host Prakash. I didn't know how Leo know my birth date , he switched off the light which had made everyone surpriseed, and came to our table with small cake with birthday song on the background.

Went two weeks ago after reading good reviews.but we were very disappointed.very small place. Very intrusive with your next table. We had veg food only. Veg thali was a joke, very pricey. Two curries served were just one tablespoon each, literally one teaspoon of yogurt and one of pickle. Thought that was little for an hungry adult.
Overall,cramped,pricey n mediocre. Will never go again.

The food at Leo is amazing! We ordered the vegetable Momo and a curry to share! The service was brilliant, and the food came out very quickly. The only issue I had with the restaurant was that I found it a little dirty and our tablecloth was sticky. Other than that we had a pleasant evening and ate delicious food!

1 "mushroom" soup (5.9€)
1 cheese naan (3.95€)
The soups : both tasteless coloured water, the packaging was terrible and it's a true miracle it doesn't split during delivery
The cheese naan : 4 small layers (1€ each!) of tasteless "crepes" (where was the cheese?)
We felt scammed. Never order there!
Lisbon is full of great, cheap, respectable venues.

Pleasant meal, ruined experience.
First time Google review. First time to Lisbon. Frequent world traveler and lover of food. Decided on this place for 2 reasons:
1. It had good ratings.
2. It was one of the few places open on Sunday night.
3. We like Indian food.
We loved the food, the environment was Indian traditional and the service met our expectations.
We ordered 2 apps and 2 main dishes and some Naan. We tasted everything (the Chicken soup is the best I've ever had) but didn't finish every piece of meat and vegetables on the large dishes we were served.
When our server collected our dishes he pleasantly asked us if we had enjoyed the meal (implying that we didn't because the dishes were not completely consumed). We explained that we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the experience and simply didn't have the ability to consume all of the dishes (which is true).
After we had paid our bill, we remained at the table for about 3 minutes to finish our wine, when the server (assumed owner) approached us at our table and said "Um..you are lying. We just received this negative online review." And then proceeded to hand me his phone and show me the review. We were confused and explained it was not us. He again accused us and said he knew it was us two more times. Shocked and appalled, we gathered our things and left.
Completely ruined our night.
The post was clearly someone else who had had dined there.
I would have gladly recommended this place prior to being falsely chastised.

Ce restaurant est parfait si l'on recherche une cuisine indienne de qualité, bien épicée. Les temps d'attente entre les plats sont un peu longs mais les serveurs nous font souvent patienter en offrant des apéritifs.

Restaurante muito humilde que serve com imensa simpatia e honestidade no atendimento. Pratos com boa apresentação e bem servidos: os olhos e estômago ficaram satisfeitos. Recomendo o pão "naan natural" com um dos pratos com diferentes sabores para experimentar e uma lassi de manga a acompanhar, para quem gosta deste tipo de comidas ou para quem quer experimentar sabores diferentes.

Un lugar excepcional, donde la comida es deliciosa, cierto es que los platos no son muy grandes pero si de calidad, el servicio fue muy bueno con un camarero muy atento y amable, se equivocaron en una comanda y rectificaron en el momento y nos obsequiaron con dos refrescos, merece la pena ir a comer ayi.

Very good plates, inexpensive. The street is in a local neighborhood, not touristic. If you like spicy and like Indian food, a must-go. But hard to find tables (its a small place).

A happy place to spend if you enjoy Indian and Nepalese foods. Not often you see a restaurant full of happy & cheerful faces. A sure sign of satisfaction. Excellent fast & friendly service with reasonable prices.

We had a wonderful experience. Went to this place because of unusually good reviews and it doesn't disappoint. We were greeted by a big smile of the owner and immediately felt a good vibe of the place. The service was exceptional, kind and knowledgeable. Leo, the owner serving us, was very helpful navigating the exotic to us Indian cuisine pointing out gluten free and vegan dishes. We were nicely surprised! And yes, the food was fresh, authentic, delicious and beautifully served. Great value! Much love and success for your business.

Super bon restaurant. Cuisine nepalaise indienne et asiatique. Très bon copieux et pas cher. Service très agréable et qui nous conseille. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant. Nous étions à l'hôtel non loin et y avons déjeuner un soir. Parlent anglais et portugais.

Small and cosy. I would recommend to book in advance. The staff is super helpful and the food is great. Try the samosa and the momo, such great tastes.

A small, but cosy place, the waiters were very welcoming and made sure we felt satisfied. The food was a fantastic mix of oriental dishes, each complementing the next one. They even took care of my wife's dietary restrictions and made milk free soup for her.

Wonderful little restaurant. Easily accessible (about 5 mins walk from Anjos metro station). We were served by a smiling couple Prakash and Pushpa. This place serves some really delicious food and warm hospitality. Being vegetarians we had vegetable momos, the vegetarian thali and naan. All of it was extremely delicious. Definitely recommend

Leo is the best Restaurant ever. Not your usual neighborhood place, but fine selection with a wonderful menu. We simply let the waiter guide us through our options and each of us had fabulous food and appetizers. You cannot go wrong. Best in Lisbon by far and probably one of best in the entire country.

Really a hidden jems for reataurant in lisbon. the space is small but the interior was really heart touching. it looks clean and well managed. we were welcomed with smile with a papadem as a welcome starter. Being a vegetarian I had tried lots of restaurants who served a vegetarian cuisine. In Leo I found lots of truly a vegetarian dishes. Lots of choices to follow try a chilly planner and Leo special vegetable curry following a mango lassi. Highly recommend

Truely a best restaurants in Lisbon. Well cooked food with fresh ingredients carryed by a lovely server. The interior looks mind blowing with light background music. The only difficulty is to get an parking space. Highly Recommend if you are in Portugal

Delightful little Nepalese Restaurant about half a mile from the Holiday Inn. Waitress was very friendly and showed great hospitality. Cozy, small inside, with authentic feel to the surroundings. Food was wonderful. Tempted to go back before the end of our holiday!

Möts av en oerhört trevlig servitör som hjälper oss hela kvällen. Ger oss tips & varnar när något jag vill beställa inte alls är gott enligt han själv. Restaurangen känts genuin & äkta. De kan sin indiska mat & levererar. Ligger lite avsides i Lissabon men värt omvägen.

A place to visit in Lisbon
Really an amazing place to eat. Little Restaurant in the downtown ( 5 minute walk by metro through green line Anjos) or by taxi to have a nice dinner. Be aware of green sauce... Rest Everything you will fine an amazing food with heart touching service.
