Very small restaurant hidden away from the main streets. The food was absolutely lovely and very good value. We were even offered to taste an extra dish. Best Indian food I've had in Europe outside the UK.

Comida muito boa, saborosa em bom tamanho de porção. Um dos melhores restaurantes indianos (Goa) que já fui, e possivelmente o melhor de Lisboa. Ótimo atendimento.

Our group had an amazing dinner here tonight! Inside was cozy. At the suggestion of another diner we ordered the Naan bread with garlic and cheese! YUM! We ordered several dishes- butter chicken, lentils, saag panneer and another chicken dish at the servers recommendation, we forgot the name! For a starter, we orders chicken and veggies samosas. ALL EXCELLENT! Very reasonably priced, excellent service and a clean environment! Thanks for a great dinner

Awesome restaurant. If you like Indian food this is the place for you. It is not expensive, the people are very friendly and the service is high quality. The food itself is delicious and there is a guarantee that you won't leave hungry. Absolutely recommend it!

De menukaart kon wel een sopje gebruiken maar we aten hier prima. Vriendelijke eigenaar serveerde hier prima curry's.
De garlic naan was dikker dan gebruikelijk en behoorlijk vet.
Eén van de curry's was echter weer een verrassing.

Ja tinha visitado este restaurante, a comida continua deliciosa e o ambiente esta mais acolhedor. Desta vez comemos as chamussas que sao umas das minhas preferidas, onion bhaji que eram bem saborosos. O Biryani nao desiludiu. Iremos voltar com certeza.

The food is very very good - only serves indian food. Try chicken tika masala, butter chicken or chicken karay - these are my favourite. They have a lot of vegetarian options.

Felt like home here and would recommend to everybody who likes Indian cuisine. Besides that they prepare everything reasonably spicy so you do not have to cry after each dish:-), even vindaloo will not kill your tongue. Owner and his family ( since 1984) deserve our big thanks.

Cheguei a este restaurante sem grande antecipação, pois encontrava-se completamente vazio ao almoço de fim-de-semana. Pedimos frango tandoori e frango korma e surpreenderam pela positiva, pois estavam ambos muito bons. O frango korma no entanto precisava desesperadamente de sal para passar de bom a delicioso. Para sobremesa pedimos bebinca e também estava muito boa.
Retirei duas estrelas pois ao contrário da maior parte de restaurantes indianos que tenho frequentado este cobra pela entrada que eles próprios colocam na mesa (muito à moda dos restaurantes portugueses). O problema não é só cobrar, é quanto cobram, 1,20€ por papadum queimado e 2€!! pelos molhos que estavam super grossos. Para além disto estes preços não estão no menu. E não há menu de bebidas ou pelo menos não nos foi indicado menu algum e assim tivemos de pedir “às cegas” e pagar aquilo que bem entenderam.
A comida é boa, mas a honestidade podia ser melhor.

The food was below average, even though some of the things are available at reasonable costs. The owner tricked me (won't go into the details here) and asked me to pay more in a very rude way at the end for some things he served on his own (i.e., which I never ordered). Highly Disappointed!

Very bad servicing, there was this Hitler looking guy that ran away any time we tried to make a request.We were put just in front of the exit door for service convinience but the room was empty.Medium quality food.

One of the best curries in lisbon! Definitely love this place. The owner is super kind and although the price is cheap the food is really good. I definitely recommend this place- best curry around the town.

Great find! Don’t expect a polished fancy place, but look forward to delicious, authentic food and a friendly owner. Tucked away in a quiet street we had a great lunch at a reasonable price. The owner even made us indian chai tea at the end of the meal.

Very much welcoming owner.
At first, I thought, I will be laughed by the members of our party, but then, food was amazingly delicious and freshly prepared.
Party of nine adults and two infants, everyone in the group enjoyed the food. One of the member in our party had celiac allergy, but not a issue for this owner, he made a special dish for the person.
All of us in the group said, “so far, definitely the best food we have had while visiting Portugal”.
The bill was very reasonable, when chatting to the owner, I mentioned that we travelling back to Algarve, he said, “ please drive carefully and reach safely”, then gave me two free bottle of water and two expresso coffee so that both the drivers are alert.
I will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent Indian (authentic) food and a nice host. I wouldn‘t recommend it for a high-end date but its a warm and nice atmosphere and perfect place to have a nice dinner. Prices are rather moderate.

Restaurante muito pacato e bastante escondido. No entanto tem uma das melhores comidas indianas que encontrei em Lisboa. O atendimento é simpático. Visto que se trata de um restaurante familiar acabamos por ser atendidos com um pouco mais de atenção. Todas as recomendações feitas foram excelentes. Recomendo vivamente.

Super bon, la nourriture est incroyable, le monde parle très bien en anglais. C'est une superbe famille qui travaille dans ce restaurant. Je conseille à tout le monde qui voyage mais fait attention! ce restaurant risque de déclassé vos restaurant indien préféré!

Decent Indian restaurant tucked away in a narrow street. Okayish to good food. Finding a parking here will be difficult. We found it slightly expensive compared to other Indian restaurants in town. Courteous staff.

Best Curry I have had anywhere! Do not miss this hidden gem if you like a curry. Fantastic flavours, all cooked fresh with plenty of fresh authentic spices. Not the bland rubbish you get in the UK.

Good Indian food at reasonable price. The service was quick and the staff was really friendly. The taste ofcourse is not authentic Indian but still pretty good. Also has a buffet option.

Quaint little place, in a quaint lane, we found through Google right behind our Hotel (FONTECRUZ). Infact, the front desk staff was surprised that we even knew something like that restaurant even exist. Though he knew the place well, but did not think many tourists would know about it and go there, as it was not right in the market area...
But according for us it was very near from wgere we were staying. The food was very very tasty. The owner was himself there, and was a very quiet person. Interacted only with the staff, a lady, who was very nice.

Decorated with Indian style. Nice atmosphere. The food is great with traditional Indian taste. The manager is welcoming. Staff are attentive and helpful. Prices are affordable.

Ein echter Insider. Sehr leckeres Essen. Preise moderat und ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Das Ambiente etwas abenteuerlich, aber davon sollte man sich nicht abhalten lassen. Können wir nur weiter empfehlen.
