I really enjoyed my stay just before the covid outbreak. The room was smart and very clean, if tight for space, with an excellent shower. Location great and staff friendly and helpful. Decent value as well for a capital city. Only thing not to my liking was breakfast...good choice and quality but I'd rather have this included in the price, even if means paying more, rather than paying for every single item which then adds up to a price that you would never pay in the UK. Still you can always go out, plenty of local choice, and it would not put me off returning. In fact I'd like to.

Esquina Cosmopolitan Lodge is exceptional, with an outstanding team of staff. We felt more than just guests. It was like being with friends who made every day memorable and special. Delicious!!! restaurant food. Best hotel bed ever. Glorious views over Lisbon from our room. Whether in reception, kitchen, bar or room care, every member of staff made our stay a wonderful and unique experience.

Très bien situé, ma chambre un peu petite, pas de bar, mais très bien insonorisée, très propre, personnel très sympathique, pas de buffet petit déjeuner, mais une carte ou plusieurs choix sont possibles, personnel très avenant, et bonne musique d'ambiance !

This hotel was well located. The staff was superb. We cannot say enough about how helpful they were. The room was small and clean. A mobile phone was provided that allowed 30 minutes a day of free international service--a first for any hotel in which we have ever stayed. The one thing that stops us from giving the place a 5 star review is that it is next to a restaurant where young people gather on Friday and Saturday nights. Most rooms, including ours, fronted on the street and the noise from the kids was a problem for us when we tried to go to sleep around 10 PM. By 11, when the restaurant closed, it was quiet. So if you are early to bed, ask for a room that does not face the street.

The View of the Sao Jorge Castle was amazing from my window., walked there. Everything was within walking distance Elevator Lift, the 3 beautiful churches, St. Maria, St. Antonio, and the Sao Patriarcal Cathedral church museum, Also walked to St. Domingo And the Rossio Square, everyone was very helpful.

Buena ubicación, limpieza excelente, cama y almohadas muy cómodas. Hotel con instalaciones nuevas , la ducha exquisita. Lo único que podría mejorar , sería el perchero que se encuentra en la entrada de la habitación ya que, es medio peligroso golpearse con eso en la noche.

There was no designated room for luggage but we still made it work. Now to why you SHOULD definitely book this place, Pros: -Free phone! You're provided with a free smartphone during your stay that has apps, maps, recommendations, and so much more. This phone came in SO handy so many times, especially using maps while in the city and catching public transport. We also ordered airport transfer through the phone. -Location! It doesn't get any more central than this! You're 5 minutes walking away from anything, and right across the street is the highest rated Bifanas shop in Lisbon "As bifanas do Afonso". -Staff was very friendly and helpful. -When we arrived we were told the elevator is under repairs for a full week and we received 1 free breakfast voucher per person. We were staying on the 2nd floor. Book this place if you're on the fence - you will love it!

The room is a tad small, simple and minimalist. The service is good from a week before your arrival to the checking in. One week before arrival, the hotel will send you a message asking for your estimated arrival time so they can prepare your room upon your arrival even if it is before check in hour.They can also arrange pick up from the airport if you desire or to celebrate your special occasion. The staff is friendly and helpful. Location is good as it is within walking distance from most attractions. Lots of good eateries nearby. Rossio train and subway stations are less than 10 mins walk away. Complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries in the room. There is a bar/restaurant on site. However no free breakfast.

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff are very welcoming and responsive. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is easy to get to from the airport, and the one way trip is only 1.5 euro.

I loved this hotel. Everyone was so helpful. Claudia at the the desk helped us plan our trip, booked some tickets for us online. Sara served us a lovely breakfast and when the orange juice was not the best (orange season) she brought my daughter another type of juice. The handle on our roll aboard broke right as we were scrambling for the airport and someone jumped in to help before we even asked. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. If you arrive after 9 PM the public elevator that takes you from the street below up to the motel is closed and it’s a bit of a walk around. But getting there from the airport on public transportation is otherwise easy. If delayed the last trains as at 1AM. There is a grocery store right across the street and a place to get a yummy Bifana (beef Sandwich) is right there too. We loved this place and Lisbon

Biggest asset - stunning views over the city !!! Its a boutique hotel with great vibe, modern trendy design in an existing historic building in an older part of the city - very close to everywhere you want to be in the city. It has a bar with great music selection, a small restaurant and exterior patio. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Id stay there again in a heartbeat. I just loved it!

Ottimo punto di partenza per le visite in centro Storico. Bell 'edificio di inizio 900 ristrutturato in stile contemporaneo-minimalista. Ottimo cortile interno. Buona la colazione a menu (no buffet) Buon ristorantino (parziale ,piccolo menu monotono). Camere in generale piccole.Buona insonorizzazione. Buon letto e materasso. No minibar Arredamento scarno ,senza armadio, senza cassetti ,con mobiletti in lamiera verniciata. A disposizione un tablet per uso anche esterno. Personale giovane,amichevole e molto collaborativo.

La ubicación del establecimiento muy buena y sobretodo el trato de todo el personal, que ha sido EXCELENTE ¡¡

The hotel is in a great location. The staff is absolutely amazing. Is a very nice touch, the hotel even offers small snacks in the room for free. Not a mini bar no extra charge just because its a great place to stay. Im looking forward to my next visit.

We loved this place! It was my partners birthday and the staff went over and above to make him feel special. The place was really clean and the bed was comfy. The location is quite good, not too far from a metro or the central areas of town, Reallly close to the elevator that brings you to the castle. We had a room that overlooked the back of the hotel as opposed to the street and it was a really exceptional view, we could even see the Jesus statue. All this at a great price. 10/10 would recommend!

If I have friends or family going to Lisbon I’m going to wholeheartedly recommended Esqina Cosmopolitan. First, the hotel was extremely easy to get to from the airport via the metro. It’s centrally located in the Alfama neighborhood which is a great launching off point for sights, sounds and eating in Lisbon, as well as centrally located to the train stations that took us to Porto and Sintra. We were greeted warmly every time we entered and left the building, and any questions we had were answered with a smile by anyone we asked. We visited the city during a few days of volatile weather and we were given umbrellas whenever we left the hotel to walk in the rain, which was a great touch! Finally, the room had everything we needed - a comfortable bed, multiple outlets for charging devices, and it was as clean as could be. With the combination of the hospitality, the comfort experienced during our stay and the central location, we would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone traveling to Lisbon!

Decisamente perfetto: camera ampia e colorata, luminosa con il sole al tramonto, terrazzo da cui si vede tutta Lisbona, personale gentilissimo e colazione a la carte eccellente. Si accede all hotel (quindi a rua Maddalena) tramite un ascensore gratuito che è aperto fino alle 21. Prezzi abbastanza alti ma mi pare lo siano in generale a Lisbona

Das Hotel ist super schön eingerichtet, das Personal ist immer freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit mit allem gewesen. Wir konnten das Zimmer schon vor dem ursprünglichen check-in beziehen, da wir mit unserem Flieger schon morgens in Lissabon ankamen. Außerdem erhielten wir ein kostenlos Zimmerupgrade. Das Zimmer hatte einen schönen Balkon und da das Hotel auf dem höchsten Punkt der Gegend liegt, konnten wir einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf die Dächer Lissabons genießen. Wir haben uns hier wirklich wohl gefühlt und wurden sehr herzlich vom Personal behandelt. Wirklich ein tolles, modernes Hotel, welches wir definitiv wieder besuchen werden :)

Excellent emplacement, Hôtel neuf, chambres grandes et propres, personnels accueillants, souriants et disponibles. bon rapport qualité/prix, excepté pour le petit déjeuner proposé à 22€/personne ce qui pour ce type d'établissement, nous semble hors de prix. Pas de panique, vous sortez de l’hôtel, vous faites 50 mètres à droite et vous allez déjeuner à Fábrica Lisboa, ou vous seront proposé d'excellents petits déjeuner très complets (attention parfois de l'attente, car le lieu est très prisé) pour moins de 10€/personne.

When I feel like I’m Lucy opening the windows in A Room with a View when she arrives at her lodgings in Florence, I know I’m in a great hotel. Service from staff was impeccable and they went out of their way to help with any questions. It is well located close to the castle and center of old Lisbon. I would recommend it unreservedly.

Fantastic. Staying at the Esqina Cosmopolitan Lodge added so much to our first time visit to Lisbon. Excellent location - close to the city centre and all Lisbons major attractions. Modern, urban-chic interior design; room small but perfectly adequately equipped.Food from the small kitchen limited but excellent quality. But the real star quality is the staff - the company ethic is to be friendly, helpful and, above all, to share their local knowledge - where to go, what to do and, even more important, what not to do to avoid getting ripped off. We got to know several of the staff well during our four days and were really sorry to leave them. But we will be back.

Quer lugar central em Lisboa. É este. Conceito moderno de hotelaria. Funcionando há 3 meses, com equipe jovem e encantadora. A sensação é que você está em sua casa de tão bem recebidos que fomos. A vista do quarto é maravilhosa. Via o elevador panorâmico e toda a parte baixa. Andávamos a pé pelos pontos turísticos de tão perto que está localizado.

Brand new rooms, great set of amenities, great stuff! I’ve had a room on 5th too floor, super nice view to the city. I’ve had a chance to try dinner and breakfast in gastropub. Ceviche is fantastic, tomatoes with peach gives a very refreshing twist in taste. Location is central, enjoyable walk to most of the key attractions. Hotel is providing free to use mobile phone with maps, city information, which is convenient during the long city walks! Complements to hotel team for kindness and willingness to help! Great value for money overall.

This hotel was modern with modern funky furniure. Bed extremely comfortable. They had a defenite theme of being ecofriendly, sustainable and reducing carbon footprint. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great views over Lisbon from our room. Location is excelleny as you are only a few minutes from the main tourist square.Lift was small was the only dowside.

If you're looking for a premium boutique experience with quality service look no further. This place is absolutely amazing. They will make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are all basically brand new and everything was absolutely spotless. I had the most beautiful view of the city with a balcony where I spent the afternoons watching the sunsets. The bed was so comfortable and there were so many cute little touches in the room. After a long day exploring the city I loved coming back to my room to unwind. The hotel bar is also a great way to unwind for snacks and a drink. A special mention to Tiago who was attentive, friendly and great to chat with! I'm definitely coming back to Esqina Cosmopolitan the next time I'm in Lisbon.
