Luis puts his heart and soul in his hotel and the experience he gives to his guests is just amazing! From the welcome through the entire stay to the good bye. There is so much beauty in this place and attention to details that creates such a unique guests experience and a feel good factor. Breakfast was outstanding and we couldn’t really ask for more. The whole experience much exceeded our expectations and we are so pleased with the hotel choice we made. I highly recommend staying here! I will definitely stay here again when back in the area. One of the best places I have ever stayed at!

I am now here in Vila Vitorino. It is SUPERB. Literally! You must have no doubt why all other rivewers from the world give 5 stars. Authentic 19th vila with an exceptional hospitality from the owner(maybe the owner) and welcome tea and local pastry! All of them are quality ones. If my flight back to the US was not close, I would stay here more nights.

Vila Vitorino provides high quality and care in everything they provide. The rooms are immaculate and ultra comfortable. The breakfast is indulgent, delicious and beautifully served. And last but not least, the staff is always anxious to help in every way possible. Highly recommending!

Its a very nice painstakingly-refurbished inn with lots of nice touches. Breakfast is excellent, the staff and host were wonderful. They kept giving us homemade treats.Its fairly remote from the center of Sintra, so theres not much to do within easy walking distance. The parking lot is really small - it requires a lot of maneuvering to get into or out of a spot. Theres a friendly cafe (not touristy) in easy walking distance - it had good Portuguese food. Note: even in September (when we went), Sintra is swarming with tourists and people trying to get you to do their tours. Some people like that. We didnt.

This is such a nice boutique hotel located just a bit outside of the craziness of Sintra. The house has been lovingly restored with every detail taken into consideration. It was located in easy distance to many major attractions in the area which made it very convenient. The breakfasts are incredible and the staff was very welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

Habitación cómoda, situación buena, aparcamiento propio para 4-5 coches, muy buen desayuno y magnífica atención. Le pondría un pequeño pero, al llegar nos encontramos a un perrillo en el sofá del saloncito de las zonas comunes tumbado en plan jefazo. Muy recomendable, un 9,5.

My husband and I stayed (2) nights here in May,2018. 5-star accommodations at a very reasonable price. The surrounding area, historical sites and beautiful drive made the trip even more special. The Owner/Host will make you feel right at home and his special attentions to detail (i.e. cuisine, decorating, luxury bedding, furnishing, etc. etc.) is so appreciated! Do not hesitate to book a stay here you will not regret it! We will stay here again on our next trip to Portugal. I’ve already told all my friends state side and travel agents about this fabulous place.Tips: Do give advanced notice of your estimated arrival time (gated house and you will need access to enter). The front door key can be a little tricky, I recommend trying it before you leave and ask for pointers if you have any issues unlocking the door.

Auf dem Weg von Lagos nach Lissabon mit Zwischenstopp in Sintra die perfekte Unterkunft. Es ist eine echte Villa, die nun von den Besitzern als eine Art Hotel genutzt wird. Dementsprechend ist auch das Flair sehr gemütlich und warm. Das Zimmer bzw. die Villa ist seht modern und neu, das Bett sehr komfortabel. Die Villa hat noch einen sehr gepflegten und malerischen Garten mit Pool und Möglichkeiten die Liegen zu nutzen. Die Besitzer haben uns persönlich begrüßt und zig mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob sie was für uns tun können, ebenso beim Frühstück. Es gab zudem noch gleich heimische Spezialitäten als Willkommensgruß (Süßgebäck und frische selbstgemachte Pastéis de Bacalhau, hoffentlich war es das :)) + Portvine persönlich vom Besitzer vorbei gebracht. Also eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, das keinen Hotelcharacter hat, sondern durch den Familienbetrieb sehr vertraut wirkt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich ist, die Besitzer sind zudem überaus freundlich sind und warmherzig. Das Frühstück hatte eine große Auswahl und war frisch zubereitet und im Preis enthalten. Einzig das Zimmer war etwas klein, wer aber viel Zeit verbringen möchte dort, kann auch das große Gemeinschaftszimmer mit Couch, TV usw. nutzen. Ich hätte eine weitere Nacht gebucht, wenn wir nicht weiter müssten.

Um dos melhores sítios em que já me hospedei. Já no início fomos bem recebidos pelas funcionárias, a casa está em ótimo estado de conservação, os quartos são amplos e confortáveis (Em especial o 1° quarto), o pequeno almoço é todo produzido pela cozinha da casa e o Vitorino é um excelente anfitrião, muito educado e prestativo, nos deu boas dicas de sítios para conhecer em Sintra. Só tenho elogios a fazer deste sítio e de sua equipa. Super recomendo! E obrigado Vitorino

My all too brief stay here was perfect... The owner upgraded the room without a charge, without even asking if we wanted an upgrade... and the included breakfast was delicious... felt like i was visiting friends, the place was THAT cozy!

Staff & owner lovely people, kept checking with us throughout our Oct / Nov 14 night stay.When the weather changed for the worse the staff warmed our room ready for our return in the evenings. Breakfast, again personal - great coffee! and cakes.I would recommend this Hotel, for the quality, friendly service and its close location to many of the places, beaches you must visit while in SintraVery small recommendation - to have tea and coffee making facilities in each rooms

My husband and I stayed at Vila Vitorino for 3 nights. It is one of the most luxurious properties I’ve seen. Decadence doesn’t even begin to describe the decor and ambiance. Luis and Daniel are so charming, they make you feel like you are at home and part of the family. Breakfast and dinner was phenomenal, Luis is a true gastronomical genuis. We would give 10 stars if we could. We will definitely be back!

The Villa is spectacular in its renovated state. The rooms are comfortable and modern with nice amenities. MR. Vitorino was a wonderful and gracious host. You feel like royalty staying in his home and the breakfast that is all done in house is the most wonderful experience of the whole stay. Bravo to Villa Vitorino and it’s staff!!

Fresh pastries when we arrived in our room, phenomenal breakfast in the morning, the most comfortable bed, large room, and the best tea Ive ever had. Also, plenty of room for parking. Better than staying in Sintra and the town is lovely. Thank you for your hospitality!

Stunning well decorated vila in the middle of sintra park, close to the village and hidden away from tourists. Only downside is the area around the property has extremely narrow roads with cars speeding around. The vila itself is so great, breakfast is tasty.

We spent a night at the Vila Vitorino in August this year and we had an amazing time. Mr Vitorino was very nice and welcoming. We highly recommend the vila if you wanna have a nice time in a cosy place. Nice location.

We felt absolutely welcome for our entire stay, you really do feel like you're at home (that is if your home is a beautiful 19th century building). There were so many nice touches the whole way through, the room was so well presented and comfortable with the largest room of any hotel I've ever stayed at. The breakfast was superb and I must say the home made pastel de nata went down a treat! Mr Vitorino really does put himself into your stay, and you get the feeling he genuinely cares about every guest. This was hands and away the best hotel we've stayed at. You'd be silly not to visit.

Très compliqué pour y pénétrer . Ce qui est un problème je vous l'assure . Maison mal placée en bordure de route . Par contre dès que vous êtes à l'intérieur c'est magnifique , vous êtes bien reçu l'intérieur de la vila est très bien décorée avec goût , les chambres sont magnifiques . On y dort bien sans bruit malgré la circulation extérieure . Le petit déjeuner était grandiose . Il y avait de tout en quantité et servi avec le sourire. Lieu a recommander .Prix justifié.

Le propriétaire et le personnel sont très gentils. La décoration est de très bon goût. Rien à dire sur la propreté autant dans la chambre que dans les parties communes. Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

We came here for vacation and it was probably the best hotel of the entire vacation. Our room was amazing and the owner was very nice. You feel very safe because of the fence that goes around the entire property. The parking lot is gated and you are given a remote upon your arrival to open it. The breakfast in the morning is amazing. I can’t remember the names of half the foods there’s so much. There’s even a dog there that comes with the owner that’s really friendly and small. It has a pool but we went when it was cold so we weren’t able to go in it. The only gripe that I would have with the entire experience is that the parking lot is very hard to navigate if there is more than one car in it. Definitely going to be a major challenge if you have any sort of SUV or long sedan. It’s a short drive to the town of Sintra.
