Essen nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. Die Pizza war viel zu klein (in Deutschland wäre das höchstens eine Kinderpizza gewesen!), und für diese Größe wirklich überteuert! Einmal und nie wieder in dieses Restaurant.

One star is generous, this place is disgusting. My family researched this restaurant on both trip adviser and google reviews and decided it would be a good choice to dine here with their 4.3 star rating (on google). WRONG. The sangria was a brown colour and full of melons which in my opinion doesn’t belong in sangria however, the taste was off to me, it was just gross. We had ordered 4 dishes which included a variety of pastas, and veal. The pasta dishes were so over cooked when you tried to stab it with ur fork it broke apart, the pasta was so clumpy and gloopy from the overuse of flour in the sauce. The lasagna was green? And was mush. The veal being worst of all was rancid it tasted like it was cooked in the microwave for 10 minutes and the fries were even inedible. I’m shocked as to how to this place has a 4.3 star rating when the food is TERRIBLE. I’m assuming they pay for their reviews as there is just no way. Don’t believe the reviews, save yourself the money AND DO NOT EAT HERE.

Awesome place with great and kind staff. We had a feeling that we are in some family visit. Food was brilliant, homemade desserts, definitely worth to visit.

Voor wie houdt van diepvries schotels..... niets meer en niets minder. Enkel de bediening van de job studenten is ok.... zoek niet op de kaart , ga verder als je van lekker eten houd....be warned

Massas, pizzas, crepes, carne, peixe, pão, vinhos, cervejas, água, sumos e refrigerantes.
Sobremesas deliciosas, doces equilibrados, servidas em prato ou taça com grande requinte.
Aguardente, whisky, moscatel, vinho do porto.

What a place to dine in. Great atmosphere and ambience, delicious food and above all the best people who serve with love. We tried Garlic Bread, Baked Mushrooms, Tagliatelle Spagetti, Vegetarian Pizza and a Prawn Main Course. Every dish was a winner. Highlight was the Pizza and the Prawn Dish. In every bite we could taste home cooking.
Vila de Italia is Tye best bite of Italy in Portugal.
Can’t recommend enough. We will visit again.

Mau atendimento. Após 45 min de espera por uma mesa, quando começaram as mesas a ficar vagas ninguém teve a atenção de as ir limpar para permitir que as pessoas que estavam à espera pudessem se sentar. Ficamos ali à espera até que nos fomos embora, sem jantar...muito mau.

The food is amazing and service is great however, the top 00's soundtrack and the metal chairs as well as every table already set, makes one feel like you have to hurry and that expectations is set for 100+ people while we might be early but alone and having to blow the dust out of the glasses doesn't set confidence high.
Again, the food and service is amazing, but updated decor & music would go along way.
And don't set up the tables, it reminds everyone of the 90's, 30 years ago. Especially if you want to keep it casual and cosy.

I came to this restaurant one time per year in the last 10 years and it's always great. I eat always bread with garlic and lasagna with Lambrusco. For the desert choose what ever you like.

This is such an amazingly friendly place. The best customer service I can recall for a very long time. The food was beautiful. It was well presented, well cooked, and a taste that hit the button. I had such a great evening here and will be back next time I'm in Portugal.

Super teuer, sooo lecker ist es leider auch nicht. Der schinken schmeckt bei den Nudeln nicht gut, eher abgestanden und super günstig. Die Pizza war zu wenig belegt also recht trocken.

We came here for dinner with no reservation and were sat down at a table no problem. All the staff were very friendly, funny as well. The food was delicious but the customer service is really what made our experience even more enjoyable. You can tell that the staff really enjoy what they do and strive to make the customers happy. We asked our waiter to take a picture of us, which he did, and also snuck in one of a coworker :)

Lovely Italian restaurant. We had read reviews from our apartments be smart and in those reviews they mentioned this Italian. Thought we'd give it a try and they weren't wrong. Beautiful little place, polite, friendly & well dressed staff. Everything was lovely and clean. Food was amazing. 7 of us ate here and we were all very satisfied. I will 100% return here next time we go to portugal!

Boa comida, bom atendimento, espaço muito agradável. A principal sala de refeições é muito bonita, com um excelente ambiente, quer para um jantar romântico, quer para uma refeição familiar. As pizzas são confeccionadas num espaço à vista dos clientes. É possível encomendar comida para fora. Os preços são médio-altos, os espectáveis num restaurante com esta qualidade. É aconselhável reservar, pois as filas são habituais.

Un cadre très joli, une carte variée, les pizzas étaient très bonnes, les verres de vin généreux, peu d'attente par rapport aux restos ou nous avons mangé cette plusieurs fois cette semaine et ou nous avons attendu souvent 1h : là 20mn d'attente, c'était une très bonne surprise ! Notre serveur à été attentif aux besoins spécifiques de notre fille intolérante au gluten (pas facile dans une pizzeria!) Et tout ça dans une langue qui n'était pas celle d'origine du serveur ni la notre, en résumé un restaurant ou tout fonctionne comme sur des rails, bravo

An amazing place with a magnific terrace. Being open after 03h00 PM is a must in Algarve. The waiters were very pleasant and the pizzas and salad very good too. Portions are not too big but fair enough for the price.

We went here twice on our holidays, the first night the waiter serving us was saying jokes they were a bit strange but presumed it was meant in food jest. We returned for lunch and the same waiter was the rudest waiter I have ever came across, us being in the restaurant was as if we were putting him out. He was beyond rude, he even told a member of my party that the chef would not like that he sent back his food, as it was not as it was ordered. We heard this happen by another waiter to another table the night before when the man said his pizza wasn't cooked and asked if it could be put back in for a few minutes. I would avoid here because of the service not the food.

The Best restuarant in the area. Always friendly and the food is excellent. They have a reasonable amout of choices on the menu. The pizza's are made in real oven and the pastas are creamy. Really love this place and always come back when we are in Algarve.

Slow service!! We were sitting on the terrace with no menus for about 20 mins before anyone came near us! A lady came on shift who was very friendly & efficient but the food was slow coming, nice food but wouldn’t go back due to service.

Fab evening! This restaurant is well worth a walk up the hill if you are staying down by the beach. It was very busy but well organised with plenty of staff so service was good. Food and atmosphere was great, we had a great evening and thoroughly recommend.

The restaurant at our own hotel was quite pricey, so my boyfriend and I decided to try out a different restaurant nearby every evening. Vila de Italia had good Italian food at good prices (10-12€ for a pasta dish), and the service was fast, but the food wasn't the most authentic - it seemed like my boyfriend's carbonara contained cream. Nonetheless, I would go here again and would definitely recommend the restaurant to others.

The food was tasty and the service was fast and friendly (including kid friendly). My only complaint was that the house red wine was pretty terrible. In a wine producing country like Portugal it wouldn't eat into profits much to have a decent standard red.

Nos tocó esperar para que nos dieran mesa, ya que estaba lleno tenia muy buena pinta desde fuera y decidimos probar mala elección. Después de esperar como unos 20minutos nos dieron mesa y en ese momento empezó lo malo. Nos sentaron y tardaron como 10minutos o más en traer las cartas y ya nos tomaron nota de la bebida después de otros 10minutos nos tomaron nota de la comida (la carta esta en inglés, alemán, francés y portugués) decidimos pedir un cree de espinacas para compartir y una pisa y una lasaña, como casi a los 20 minutos de pedir nos llega el entrante un crees sorpresa era de camarones(gambas) no dijimos nada de que no era xq llevamos 20 minutos espera do el entrante, no estabamal de sabor para no ser lo que no pedimos, pero para nuestra sorpresa 30 minutos después de terminar nos el crees traen un segundo faltaba otro (me pareció de coña traen un solo plato de una mesa de dos personas) yo ya no aguante más pedí la ojalá de reclamaciones que no me dieron, y les dije que me dieran la cuenta la meter insistió que comiera la lasaña que la sirvieron después de 5minitos de traer la pieza hice el esfuerzo y la lasaña no merecía la espera la pasta estaba pasada el relleno era de esos que venden como helados para lasaña con un tomate frito malisima y la pizza la masa estaba cruda) no lo recomiendo para nada el servício estaba muy mal organizado nos atendieron 4 camareros en el proceso de lo que se llamaría intento de cena, eso sí como me queje y pedí la hoja de reclamaciones no nos cobraron pero no me dieron la hoja de reclamaciones. Si queréis probar suerte rascar. Pero yo no vuelvo ni de coña.

It was a busy evening, but we managed to get seated within 20 mins. However, we were sat in a corner and regularly forgotten. Food was okay but it was so dark we could hardly see it. We had to chase up the waiters several times for menus, starters and deserts.

Visited the restaurant as a part of a family group of 16. Waiter came almost instantly and wanted our order, without any time to look at the menu. When we looked at the menu she just stood at the end of the table, and stressed us. But we ordered our drinks, and eventually the food. 3 of us never got our drinks, but it still got on the bill.
So the food came, and let me just say this. There is nothing Italian about the food. I ordered a veal with port wine sauce. I got a bland, and almost cooked piece of meat, with a disgusting gravy like mush on top. The taste was almost non existing. The fries (no other option for the potatoes of course) were undercooked. As garnish tomatoes, reddish, cucumber and carrot.
The waiters were very crude, and dropped the plates on the table, as well as when they cleared the table. Had to ask for a knife and fork when the food came. Never once did they wonder if we needed anything.
My daughter then ordered an ice cream. Asked for pistachio, and what did she get? Mint.
All in all, this place was truly not worth a visit. Have a really hard time understanding the rating this place have.

Soup was so-so, but the pasta ala Chef... Lucky i put a lot of parmegiano or it wouldn't have any taste at all.
Waiters are nice, though...
