Pior restaurante que experimentei. A cataplana sabia a peixe velho. É mais barato que os restaurantes do lado e percebe-se o porquê. Este é o melhor exemplo de que o barato sai caro.

Lugar ótimo e localização perfeita. Pedi uma massa e não estava lá essas coisas. O vinho que acompanhou ajudou a melhorar.

Der Fisch vom Grill war geschmacklich sehr gut aber die Beilage war ein Witz. Satt wird man nicht hier. Service ziemlich freundlich. Der weiße Hauswein war ziemlich gut.

I’ve seen the restaurant had a few bad reviews after we had already ordered our drinks. But thought we would still give it a try, and the restaurant was very busy ♂️ not a bad sign surely.
The drinks took around 10mins to be served and the food was around 15mins after that, and the food was gorgeous both out dishes tasted fresh (both sea food dishes) and our toddler had grill chicken breast which was lovely too.
The waiter was friendly and food was good what more could you want?

Took 40min to deliver our plate. The excuse was the codfish that takes a long time to prepare, but after we complained arrived 5min later. Surprisingly the codfish was cold. But overall you get what you pay for. The food was ok.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung.
Die Pizza ist zwar nicht spektakulär aber hat gut geschmeckt. Putenschnitzel mit Champion ist auch sehr gut, mit frischen Pommes und kleinem Salat. Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall.

Service hyper long... 45 minutes pour deux plats (saumon grillé et bifteck à la portugaise). Prix assez élevé (bouteille de 33cl d'eau à 1,10€). Les plats n'étaient cependant pas mauvais. Les seuls problèmes : l'attente et le prix.

In diesem Restaurant gab es Degenfisch, peixe espada. Ob er tiefgefroren war, kann ich nicht sagen. Aber immerhin hatten sie ihn, meinen Lieblingsfisch...
Inzwischen habe ich über Google in einer Veröffentlichung erfahren, dass der Grenzwert für Quecksilber bei diesem Fisch bei 6 % der Proben überschritten war. Für Kinder, Schwangere und Stillende nicht empfohlen.
Auch die Toiletten waren besser als das Alter des Gebäudes erwarten ließ...
Das Restaurant hat den Winter über geschlossen.

Nicht mal mittelprächtig. Pizza war belanglos - könnte eine Tiefkühlpizza gewesen sein, genau so fettig Und ein genauso "großartiger" Boden.
Zumindest war sichergestellt, dass der Thunfisch 100% tot war. So dunkelgrau, wie er war. Das war's auch schon. Pizza 7,80 und Fisch 12,00. Nie wieder.

Die Pizza war TK-Qualität, Nudeln kalt und Fisch hat auch geschmeckt wie aufgetaut - ganz bestimmt nicht frisch. Dazu wurde eines unserer Gerichte vergessen und ein falsches Getränk serviert. Die Bedienung war auch nicht sonderlich freundlich. Nein danke!

Quality of the food was very dissapoiting. Typical tourist trap... I don't think they even plan to satisfy you, as most of the people don't come back anyways. Waiters were nice, but this place shouldn't become one of your holiday memories as long as they don't improve their standards...

Przepyszny makaron z krewetkami. Wspaniale poprawiony, aromatyczny. Grillowany łosoś przyrządzony w idealny sposób. Desery bardzo smaczne (sernik z truskawkami i flan). Duży ruch w restauracji, obsługa bardzo przyjazna. Pyszna sangria. Gorąco polecam! :)

Une expérience des plus décevantes! Des plats au goût avarié nous ont été servis sans honte ni même un mot d'excuse du patron lui même lorsqu'on lui signale de manière polie car on reste des personnes civilisées contrairement à ce pseudo patron de restaurant. Aucun professionalisme de sa part, pire un manque de savoir-être et de savoir-faire, les seuls professionnels étant ses serveurs. Nous avons "chèrement payé" , au sens propre (payer des plats sans manger) et au sens figuré, ce que nous croyons au début être une bonne affaire car les prix étaient raisonnables et le cadre agréable.Quel dommage dans ce beau quartier historique d'avoir un restaurant aussi médiocre. Le service d'hygiène local devrait sérieusement s'y pencher.

Wir wurden vom sehr freundlichen Kellner zu Beginn sehr gut beraten welche Suppen man essen könne (Fisch- und Gemüsesuppe) und welche eher weniger (Gaspacho). Im Anschluss bestellte ich ein bife portuguese, welches auch sehr gut gelungen ist und mein Sonderwunsch über das Steak keinen Schinken zu legen wurde bestens berücksichtigt und stattdessen ein Spiegelei drüber gelegt. TOP!!!
Preislich gegenüber den anderen Restaurants in der Altstadt definitiv im Vorteil und die Tische nicht so eng aneinander gereiht, was doch etwas Diskretion ermöglicht, wie unten im Bild zu sehen.

I had the Chicken Piri Piri and my wife had the grilled mackerel, if you realize these meals cost about the same as a big Mac menu... It's a fantastic deal, the food was not spectacular but just a solid meal drinks had a fair price as well... If you are in for some nice food and don't want to break the bank I'd advice going here. Oh and the waiting time was fine, I think it took them 25 minute to get the food to our table.

Disaster. First I found hair in tuna. The waiter exchanged the dish for a new one, but the meat stank, at 100% it was old. My boyfriend's cod was totally tasteless. A restaurant that does not respect people, you do not care what you give because a naive tourist will not come back anyway. Tragedy. Stop poisoning people !!!

Wir haben hier 2 X sehr gut gegessen.Calamaris und Tunfischsteak dazu gab es Salat, Kartoffeln und Pommes. Es schmeckte frisch und sah auch frisch aus. Der Sangria war lecker und der Weisswein gut und kalt. Die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam, schnell und sehr nett. Das einzige was wirklich genervt hat sind die Musikanten. Kaum war der Erste fertig kam der Nächste.

Large portions good food. Not the friendliest or fast but they are very busy running around. So for a fair price and big meal it's a good spot. We had the piri piri chicken and Portuguese steak. You get 1/2 a chicken!

I wish I had read reviews of this place before visiting. The wife and I decided on this place after walking around Lagos for a bit and it had some vegetarian options. It was busy when we went and had to wait 20 mins for a table which I understand. I ordered a steak, rare which came medium. the wife asked for rice and vegetables which was overcooked and was inedible. I would not go there again.

Muy mal. Fuimos mi pareja y yo a cenar y nos sentamos en una mesa de 4 porque no quedaban más disponibles. Un camarero nos levantó de muy malos modales diciéndonos que no podíamos ocupar una mesa para cuatro comensales, nos lo podría haber dicho con otras formas.

ACHTUNG SEHR SCHLECHT
Noch nie in meinem Leben war ich so schlecht essen. Der Tunfisch auf der sowieso schon sehr trockenen Pizza war derart trocken das man ihn mit zwei Fingern zerbröseln konnte.
Es wurde außerdem ein anderes essen serviert als bestellt wurde, aber auf der Rechnung befand sich dann wiederum das was ursprünglich bestellt wurde.

Péssimo atendimento na mesa. Entrada de ameijoas (12€ acho) nas quais só 70% estavam vazias (valeu o molho estava muito bom) reclamei ao patrao e chutou para canto dizendo que só podiam estar caidas no molho...! Pedimos 2 doses de tamboril (recomendação do dia) para 4 porque o empregado garantiu que so dava para dois...bom dava para 8 e pagamos +27€ para deitar comida fora. O tamboril estava sem gosto nenhum...Ou seja eramos 4 + 1 criança e pagamos 100€ ! Sem sobremesas, nem café. Visita a 09/08/18. Não volto lá.

Service vraiment trop long. Nous avons attendu 1h avant d'être servie. Les serveurs n'étaient pas très agréable et il faut leur courir après pour avoir de l'eau, une cuillère, ou autre. Le poisson Mérou était cependant bon. Mais vraiment trop d'attente ! À éviter si vous ne voulez pas attendre...

Es el típico restaurante para turistas muy bien situado, pero con la comida de una calidad justita. Nos lo imaginábamos cuabdo nos sentamos pero lo peor fue el servicio. A pesar de que los dos camareros eran diligentes y simpáticos no daban abasto y la comida tardó más de 40 minutos en llegar.

Vorsicht Touristenfalle! Der Fisch war trocken, das Schweineschnitzel entpuppte sich als Kalbsschnitzel - was eigentlich zur Aufwertung führen müsste - die Qualität der restlichen Speisen lässt das aber nicht zu.
1 Stern bleibt übrig, weil zumindest das kühle Bier geschmeckt hat.

Horrible service and inedible food. Pizzas on hard frozen bases and a fish skewer that smelt so much people on the next table got the horrible whiff of putrid fish. Not so much as an apology. A real dump of a place to bd avoided at all costs.

Vorspeisen und Wein soweit okay.
Brot vom Bäcker und Wein bzw. Oliven aus dem Handel sind ja auch keine Herausforderung. Der Tintenfisch war ein Fahrradschlauch und total verbrannt. Ging zurück. Der Fleischspieß als Ersatz Stroh trocken, wäre normalerweise auch zurück gegangen. Das Ersatz Steak einfach ohne zu fragen durch gegart. War aber geschmacklich o.k.. Alle Speisen ungewürzt. Sorry, nie wieder.

Tard et ayant nous nous arrêtons dans ce restaurant qui nous paraissait touristique mais plus ou moins ok.
Après un accueil froid nous demandons si les calamars frit sont bons. Réponse : ils sont congelés et non vidés!!!
Après avoir commandé 2 poissons et un steak saignant, il arrive bien cuit... le serveur s’énerve car il y avait des choses sur la table et ne pouvait pas déposer les plats. On lui répond en français et la il s’énerve sur nous et nous répète que ici on est au Portugal et on parle portugais.
Renvoi de la viande trop cuite, et retour d’une autre toujours trop cuite.
A la fin du repas nous demandons le nom du serveur et a voir son patron. Il nous répond qui s’appelle MIGUEL et que le patron est à l’intérieur.
Nous allons parler au patron et il appelle son employé, qui lui répond qu’il n’a pas le temps.
Après discussion il revient vers nous et nous répète à maintes reprises que ici on parle portugais, de manière très agressive devant son patron et le restaurant tout entier.
En sortant le patron nous a dit que ce n’était pas la première fois ...
Nous avons été traité comme des chiens par MIGUEL. Le patron étant gêné de la situation nous a fait un hésite commercial.
Dommage qu’on ne peut pas mettre 0.

Le service est très long , les plats à la limite du mangeable ( crames ou sans saveurs) , mes calamars étaient brûlés , amers ... ou la plaque du restaurant pas nettoyée depuis des années...pâtes au légumes de type boite de conserve... et pour couronner le tout , addition surgonflee, avec Une bière en supplément que je n'avais pas demandée , la totale :))
Le cuistot , qui se présente au comptoir , visage dégoulinant de sueur , de grosses auréoles jaunes sous les bras , le t-shirt blanc noirci de graisse noir et marron .. il 'c'est cure les deux oreilles avec ses 2 gros doit sales , avec ses mains au ongles noirs ,il a déposé une pizza dans une assiette , la sueur de visage tombais dessus .... A vomir !!!
nous avons fait tous les deux une intoxication alimentaire , vomissements pdt deux jours
plus des boutons sur le visage le lendemain , le gag , mais pas drôle du tout !!!

Lo mires por donde lo mires, un AUTENTICO DESASTRE. El servicio, de pena; antipáticos a más no poder. No se puede consentir lo que tardaron en traer la comida. Durante media hora estuvimos alimentándonos de aceitunas, que fue lo único que traían cuando las pedías. Y en cuanto a la CALIDAD, LO PEOR que hemos podido tomar en un restaurante. Desde luego, para NO VOLVER JAMAS.

Absolute Touristenfalle. Ich weiss ja nicht, was an einer Pizza so schwierig ist aber frisch war sie auf jeden Fall nicht. Jede die Tiefkühlpizza ist besser. Die Pommes waren essbar aber nichts was uns serviert wurde war wirklich lecker, sogar der Salat war trostlos. Der einzige Grund, dass ich 2 Sterne gebe, ist die recht freundliche Bedienung und die Aussenheizung.

The worst calamari we have ever had!
They were not cleaned and burned and we felt sick afterwards.
I vomited all night and the next morning due to food poisoning at this very bad restaurant.

NO VAYÁIS. Pedimos una cataplana para dos personas de rape y marisco que no estaba mal. No nos sentó nada bien, dolor de estómago y mas tarde vómitos. No volveremos a comer una cataplana en nuestra vida y menos en este sitio. Debimos haber leído las opiniones antes.

Preislich in Ordnung, Speisen aber weder etwas Besonderes noch schön angerichtet. Die Vorspeisen waren grauenhaft (Fischsuppe mit 2 Stückchen Fisch und sonst Gemüsebrühe mit Nudeln! Und das Brot mit Aufstrich aus mini-Plastikpäckchen), die Hauptspeisen waren in Ordnung. Die gegrillten Sardinen waren lecker, kamen leider nur mit 2 Kartoffeln und es gab keine Sauce. Salat bestand aus 2 Salatblättern und Zwiebeln. Steak an sich auch ok, Pommes aber aus der Tiefkühltruhe und Salat ebenso traurig. Schokoladenmousse lecker, aber auch ohne jegliche liebevolle Dekoration, was ich persönlich schätzen würde. Grundsätzlich also nicht der komplette Reinfall aber wir kommen auch nicht wieder.

Unfassbar schlecht.. ich habe noch nie ein so trockenes Thunfischsteak gegessen. Der Fisch erinnerte eher an ein graues, durchgebratenes Minutensteak. Die Beilagen (zwei Kartöffelchen und matschiges, ungewürztes TK-Gemüse) waren ebenfalls schlecht. Aber der Weißwein war sehr gut, daher gibt es einen Stern.
Das Restaurant ist jedoch - sofern man etwas leckeres essen möchte - nicht zu empfehlen.

In the beginning we were helped by a skinny guy who was very thoughtful. Afterwards his colleague "fat" guy was very annoying. It was like he didn't liked his job. His service was awfully bad. I had to wait for over 20 min for a simple burger. Afterwards when the bill had to be paid my girlfriend asked the fat guy that she wanted to pay the check. He did not respond to her just an awkward silence. The skinny guy did listened to her and helped her. This was the worst lunch I had in Portugal I don't recomend sitting there because this fat guy totally ruined the experience.

Estuvimos esperando nuestro turno y cuando ya nos iba a tocar, pasó a una familia que acababa de llegar e iba detrás de nosotros. Eran 4 personas, igual que nosotros. Cuando le reclamamos nos dijo que le deberíamos haber dicho antes que nos daba igual fuera que dentro y le dijimos que él ni nos había preguntado y a la familia que pasó, se lo ofreció él delante nuestra, ellos tampoco le habían dicho nada. Cuando le reclamamos nos dijo que la discusión se había acabado y que seríamos los próximos en pasar de muy malos modos. Obviamente nos fuimos de allí.

Hemos tardado 1 hora en recibir la bebida y al pedir la comida hemos tenido que esperar 1 h y media, para que nos trajeran unos calamares a la andaliza quemados y un pollo empanada que parecia la duela de un zapato.
No recomiendo este restaurante a nadie los camareros no se enteran de nada.

If you like frozen food and questionable hygiene this is the place for you. We've all heard of "melt in the mouth," and though usually associated with puddings and pastries, O Charco has really pushed the boat out and found a way to make prawns and fish literally dissolve in the mouth - imagine emptying the vaccum cleaner and plating up its contents.
Be sure sure to sample the Cockels whilst you're at it; with the texture of rubber but none of the power to erase the mistake you have made choosing to eat at this restaurant.

Très mauvais restaurant, à éviter. Service très long, oublié certains plats, trompé sur certains plats. Le serveur a retourné la faute sur nous au lieu de se rendre compte de son erreur et trouver une solution. Très mauvais service. Hatten als Vorspeise Brot und Oliven, wobei das Brot sehr trocken war. Das Weißbier war das klarste was ich je bekam und schmeckt daher auch nicht gut. Die bestellte Pizza hatte einen sehr weichen Boden. Mein Cordon Bleu war nur eine Hälfte, es wurde durchgeschnitten und ein anderer bekam wohl den Rest. Der frische Zitronensaft war am Ende nur ein aufgeführter Zitronentee von Lipton.
Alles in allem war der Besuch der schlechteste der gesamten Zeit und sein Geld nicht wert. Andere Restaurants auf der Meile sind mit Abstand besser.

Le serveur a fait une erreur de commande, nous propose un plat qu'on a pas commandée et nous annonce 30min d'attente supplémentaire pour notre plat.

Stay away from this place!
First of all we had to wait more than one hour for our dishes, which is huge given the fact that the restaurant was less than a quarter full and we were there in low season!
We ordered the dishes that they recommended us, the cod fish and the clams (wich were supposed to be the best dishes that they serve). It turned out that they were pretty bad, more exactly the vegetables were tasteless (most likely from frozen bag and just boiled) and the clams were not cleaned and cooked properly(you felt the sand between your teeth).

Not great at all. We ordered two pizza´s and after 40 minutes they came with the pizza but it was the wrong pizza so they needed to make a new one. Then after one hour they came with a new one, AGAIN the same one as last, so it was wrong again. Then after one hour and fifteen minutes they finally got the pizza. It was greasy, but tasted ok. Would not go here. Service was bad too, they did not say a single word to us except after one hour saying "couple of minutes now", so as other reviews says, I would have used my money somewhere else

Das Essen ist echt unterirdisch !!! Das Schnitzel war echt zum kotzen. Pommes von Lidl. Fleisch war unter aller sau und das Knoblauchbrot hatte seine besten Tage vor 4 Tage. I ordered Swordfish which was just to my taste. Friend had pork which was a bit tough but overall the meal was very nice. Very good portion size, served quickly.
Also the table layout means you're not squashed in to the people on the next table. Which is greatly preferred.

Péssimo atendimento. Não estando ninguém à espera e como estávamos com um bebé no carrinho com menos de dois anos, prioritário, vimos uma mesa e não vendo qualquer funcionário sentamo-nos. De repente, surge um funcionário a correr e diz -nos com péssimos modos: "os senhores vão-se levantar e esperam à porta que a mesa ainda não está levantada". Escusado será dizer que não voltamos lá mais. Fizemos chegar essa informação ao funcionário e respondeu que não tinha problema.

Just had the most awful meal here. Waiter took order, then disappeared off site. Husband saw him walking along the st back to the restaurant, ran in and collected our now cold pizzas. We'd waited 40 mins. No apologies nothing. Awful service, pretty disgusting food. Avoid!!

We have been coming to this restaurant for around 10 years now, but we're very disappointed this year. The customer service has definitely gone down and my son's spaghetti Bolognese was mainly spaghetti and very little Bolognese. All other dishes were much smaller than previously and more than a third of the plate was chips. Disappointing overs.

Das Service-Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut beraten.
Die Vorspeisen und Fisch-Gerichte waren zur vollsten Zufriedenheit: Scampi-Cocktail, Caspacchio, gegrillter Octopus, Seezunge, Seeteufel. Vor Allem war der Fisch sehr frisch.
Ansonsten, bzgl. anderer Bewertungen: Portugal ist nicht gerade bekannt für Schnitzel oder Lasagne. Daher erwarte ich auch nicht, dass diese hier vor Ort total frisch und lecker zubereitet werden.
Wer hier etwas typisch Portugiesisches bestellt, wird auch nicht enttäuscht.

Simplesmente péssimo!!! Arroz sem qualquer tempero e seco... batata frita sem sabor e... Pré-fritas! Mas da pior qualidade existente! Folhas de alface queimadas e bife da vazia mesmo muito pequeno... frango assado seco, o qual se via claramente que tinha sido feito há muito mais tempo... basicamente passámos fome, e o que comemos tinha uma qualidade péssima! Quanto ao molho de limão, existe uma diferença entre molho de limão e molho que leva limão! Nem sei dizer se o molho era doce ou se simplesmente não tinha sal, para além de ser muito espesso! Uma experiência a não repetir!!

The meal we did in this space was extremely unpleasant because of poor confection of food.
The dish "Monkfish Rice" was unseasoned, extremely spicy, rice was very overcooked and without salt being unpalatable. Furthermore prawns used were not suitable for consumption.
The people who accompanied me asked "Steak", all of which complained that the "Steak" had no salt and the sauce was already thick.
In conclusion, the experience was terrible and the "Monkfish Rice" It was the worst I've ever tasted.
Not recommend to anyone.

Buen restaurante. La comida estaba buena, tenía variedad, céntrico y no es caro. La cataplana estaba muy buena. La camarera que nos atendió muy amable y atenta. Recomendable

Waren heute hier. Die seezunge trocken und alt und grau kein weises fischfleisch. Kartoffeln hart broccoli hart und ohne farbe. Brot alt. Nein danke
