The owner is very friendly and talkative. The venue is really nice inside with a very deep pool. In the evenings it gets cold however they provide blankets. The food stops ay 9pm. I had a large beer and the Sangria tasted very nice.

We are lucky enough to be staying across the road from this amazing place. The staff are lovely, so accommodating. The food is gorgeous and really reasonably priced. The pool looks great although we've not been in yet. The crazy golf at the back is fantastic. We're going back later (for the 3rd time in 2 days) to watch the football

Disclaimer: We only visited Scooby's in the evening for food and drinks.
Scooby's definitely caters for the British ex-pat and isn't shy about it. The food is ok and is exactly what you would expect from the menu. Portions are generous which is great. Drinks are the usual from a pool and sports bar. During the evenings when we visited in late October it was just (what I am assuming is) the owner and a waitress and anymore than 4 tables seemed to be a bit of a stress due to the small kitchen, fine if you are happy to wait. Play pool or mini golf while you wait, I guess! Go early if you want a table with a TV for any sports, it fills up quickly. Overall, good if you're looking for a pub away from UK but don't expect a slice of Portugal.

Great family run pool and eatery. Food is lovely and staff very friendly. The place is super clean and is used by mainly families. (No stags allowed). There is a small crazy golf and a few aviaries with small birds. Would definitely go again.

fantastic place for families. lovely staff. Colin taxi driver fab. lovely food and drinks good prices as well. grandson loved the pool had to drag him out when it was time to go bk to hotel. will be no next yr x

Customer service is excellent and food was lovely. Great place to go if you've arrived early to your holiday or are going home late. The pool is great for kids - although very deep - with a slide and beds around for sunbathing. There is also a park and 15 hole crazy golf course. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be going back again.

Caters heavily for British tourists. Great English breakfast, burgers & proper chips. 15 hole crazy golf, kiddies play park, aviary. Free sunbeds for customers. Free pick up & return from your apartment.

We needed food and drink fast and this was the nearest place to where we we're staying. Great for families and those in need of a quick, tasty, sensibly priced bite to eat. The service was warm and convivial - great hoasts. Recommended.

Had a ball at Scoobys pool bar. Very family friendly and plenty to keep the kids happy! Scooby and his staff where brillant! Place was very clean and the food was lovely! Will defo be back next year.

Scoobys owner is so passionate about families and couples having a great experience. It has an extensive British style breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Food excellent. There is a deep swimming pool with free loungers, kids play area, mini golf, pool table etc etc.

Nice place, good pool area for the kids. Friendly staff, a little pricey with a heavily UK themed menu and vibe, but well worth a visit with kids, they will love it. Lots of things to do, park area, mini golf, pool and parents can enjoy a drink or two, show most of the UK football also if you don't want to miss a match.

Well equipped, bar food a little pricey for what it is, provides shuttle services and luggage storage for people flying in and out.
A little too 'British' for my liking and way too little numbers of sun loungers.
Mini golf at 3 euros a head is fair and they have a wide selection of animals/birds for the kids to look at.
Not bad but just too much of a british persons place to go. As a brit I prefer to be away from that atmosphere when visiting other countries.

Perfect for familys and very helpfull and friendly staff ! Kids are well looked after with a safe and closed in area for kids to play in sandpits , swings and slides , food is perfect also !

Food is ok. Quite rigid on set dishes. So my son and wife couldn't eat anything because of allergies.
So for instance they charge you full price for a breakfast. But my wife and son could only have the beans but would not change price. Silly really as there was 16 of us and we would have gone every day. The place is strange but nice. It has a pool and various animals. Just not very amicable staff.

A brilliant place to go. We went there as had to leave villa several hours before our flight. The suitcase storage was free, the breakfast and lunch were both fantastic, live sports (which was brilliant for the rugby semi finals), amazing facilities (my niece loved it all from the swings and sand pit to the pool to the mini golf to the turtle spa) and the two ladies working there were incredible, couldn't of done any more to ensure we were happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Wonderful place, plenty to do and could easily spend the day there. Returned after finding it over 7 years ago and they have done so much to the place. Even though it is a bit of a drive from where we are staying we will be returning and having a meal there

Great place for the kids and to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Nice pool and crazy golf, the wraps are decent too! Could do with a few more sunbeds but doesnt look like they have the space. Staff and owner a good laugh and friendly. Would recommend

Ein toller Ort zur Überbrückung der Wartezeit und mehr...! Wir mussten aufgrund anreisender Folgegäste schon morgens aus unserem Ferienhaus auschecken, hatten aber erst Abends unseren Rückflug. Was tun? Zum Glück wurden wir durch Google und Tripadviser auf scooby‘s Bar aufmerksam und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir hatten uns ein paar Tage vorher telefonisch informiert und wurden vom Chef darauf hingewiesen, dass es Samstags sehr voll wird - wir sind also seiner Empfehlung gefolgt und direkt morgens um 9:30 per Uber angekommen. Das war auch gut so, denn ab 10:30 wurde es voller und voller und die guten Plätze weniger ;-). Wir wurden bei unseren Ankunft total herzlich vom englischen Chef begrüsst und unser Gepäck in einem entsprechenden Raum untergebracht. Anschließend verbrachten wir mit unseren Kindern einen total entspannten Tag am Pool. Den ganzen Tag wurden wir von den sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern umsorgt und zu zivilen Preisen mit Speisen und Getränken versorgt. Es gab sogar eine nette Bedienung die ein wenig Deutsch konnte, wir sind mit englisch aber gut zurecht gekommen. Was uns auch sehr gefallen hat war, dass alles sehr ordentlich und sauber war. Sobald leere Becher oder Gläser rumstanden, wurden diese weggeräumt, wenn um den Pool herum Wasserpfützen entstanden und evtl. Rutschgefahr bestand kam jemand und wischte das Wasser auf.
Wir bedanken uns für den tollen Tag und haben uns bei Scooby wirklich total wohl gefühlt!

Great family relaxing place. All staff so welcoming. Owner took his time to talk to all that entered his buisness such a down to earth guy.
Charlotte and sara were great hosts who looked after us. What a way to end your holiday, or even to start your holiday. This man has thought of everything for a great experience. Would highly recommend this place for anybody with family.
Also would visit again even in the middle of the week.

Excellent facility for families. We spent our last day on holiday there as we had a late flight. Really friendly staff helped to carry and store our luggage. Lots of things for kids to do; playground, sand pit, mini golf, board games. Great variety of food and snacks, and all reasonably priced. We spent 5 hours here, ate lunch (4 people), had drinks including 2 cocktails, icecream sundaes, and snacks/drinks for kids throughout the afternoon for approx €60. Lovely pool and loungers available. Can't fault it, was a great way to spend our last day.

Was unbearably hot, when we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on it caused an electrical fault and the TV stopped working... After two pre 2000 Disney films we decided to wait in the airport instead... For 8 hours... On my birthday

This place is a MUST. Beginning, middle or end of holiday! Staff are brilliant, food was top notch! We visited on the last day of our holiday due to being kicked out by 10am and stayed at Scooby's all day free of charge with a nice deep pool! Definitely recommend for anyone! Don't bring your own food or drink.. simples :)

Very friendly service. Went here on a quiet Saturday night in early June. There were a few people about, but it wasn't busy. Food was very good, plenty of distractions for the kids, with a play area, crazy golf and a small aviary.

Very nice breakfast and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The coffee is nice although a little weak. The beers are really big. Also offers cheap mini golf experience and a free pool to all customers.

Great bar and friendly staff. Food was also very good and a reasonable price. Their pizzas and garlic bread with cheese has to be tried. They also deliver food locally and will even pick you up from your villa or hotel and drop you back again for free.

We visited scoobys 3 times when we was in portugal. The staff are so so lovely and child friendly. Id say scoobys made our holiday fab.
English speaking so felt very comfortable there.
They supply you with comfy cushions and soft blankets if you feel chilly.
Lovely food each time. Great choice of kids meals. Must try the hot chocolate:) very yummy...... Kids loved every part of it there. Has a tv and has great choice of kids films on. We watched 'toy story', 'frozen and even football.
Highly recommend this place.......

This Well Established Pool Bar offers Excellent Facilities Great Food & Drinks all at reasonable prices. A free drop and Collection service for Local Apartments & Villas is offered subject subject to availability. The Sun beds are also free. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Really nice place in a friendly and relaxed setting with breakfast being served till midday, pool,crazy golf,play area for the kids.Beer,cocktails,soft drinks, Football on in the bar and some great music from the 70s and 80s. And to top it off friendly staff and a free shuttle if you're within 3.5 km.

One of the best eateries in southern Portugal! My fiance and I were in town, and between jet-lag and being accustomed to late night eateries in the US, found ourselves looking for food later in the night. I found Scooby's on Google and we gave it a shot. When we walked in we read the sign that they had stopped serving food for the night. As we were leaving, Scooby pulled up and told us to come on in and he would help us out. (I still wouldn't recommend showing up after they stop serving food and asking for it.) While it was not necessary at all - he went above and beyond to make us feel like we were the most important people in the world. 5 stars really isn't enough! We can't wait until we are in Portugal again to visit Scooby's!

Excellent service, food, atmosphere and staff, Happy hours on cocktails, food is simple but good, sweets are excellent but at €5 euros they are pricey. Simon will pick you up in the mini bus and even store your luggage when you depart if needed.

Great place, good is great and reasonably priced, as are the drinks, happy hour til 7pm! Kids loved the pool, the sandpit, the swings, seeing the ducks (they're in a fenced area not the swimming pool!).
Nice touches include films showing inside, so you could keep the kids out the sun for a bit! If the kids don't want to get out the sun, there's complimentary sun cream in exchange for a donation for a local animal charity.

Fantastic family friendly venue. Good food, good entertainment. Happy hour throughout the day on cocktails, they offer a free shuttle service within 3km of the bar.

I do not usually go to the same place twice on holidays, but man, this place is amazing! Shame we discovered it so late. The food is absolutely delicious, cocktails are perfect, with fresh fruit... there is a place to chill and play pool and minigolf, swim and they also have a great area for kids to play in with swings and a sandpit (there is also a big TV with cartoons playing). On top of it all, the staff is great and the owner is an absolute darling - very honest and a great laugh. The prices are honest and there are a lot of offers to choose from. I definitely recommend the place. Thanks a lot for the adventure - the Saint tab!

I've been going here for 5 years in a row now and always enjoyed coming here, staff are very friendly and also quite funny too. They are happy to have a normal conversation with you too, on quieter days so you can also become friends with the staff!

A nice place to hang out as an alternative to your hotel or villa. Decent sized pool, play area for under 8's and a small crazy golf course. Friendly attentive staff and plenty of tables and beds to chill out. Ideal place to camp out if you arrived early and can't get into your villa yet.

Scoobys for Breakfast
very slow service even though there was only two other couples in the place
waited aprox 30 mins after order taken, waitress even said it will be a while
as there's another table before you.
She brought us a tea to drink but this was well finished before the Breakfast arrived.
Paid 1 Euro each extra for a very thin slice of black pudding and a single Mushroom.
Very average Breakfast considering the price.

Loved it so friendly gr8 breakfast to start the day owner is very nice man so helpful his waiting staff r really polite and there is a jacuzzi a swimming pool loads of things to do including sunbathing golf gr8 place to be .
