Brilliant Italian restaurant. We visit at least once when we have our week's holiday in Albufura.
Fabulous service and excellent food. The Tourist menu offers really good value for money.
Recommended!!

Persoonlijk vond ik het een gezellige "tent" met zeer gastvrij personeel. Er was ook sprake van live-muziek, die af en toe helaas te hard stond waardoor de gesprekken met elkaar minder soepel verliepen

In voorseizoen niet vroeg gaan eten. Weinig personeel, dus lang wachten. Heb het idee dat er wat meer uit "de vriezer" wordt voorgeschoteld wordt dan in het seizoen. Heb er beter gegeten.

Os pratos principais sem nada a apontar. As sobremesas são pecaminosas! Têm um aspecto delicioso e um toque bem contemporâneo na apresentação.
O pessoal é educado e simpático, bom atendimento.

Restaurante muito bom e sincero! Como está quase sempre cheio de turistas é difícil de arranjar mesa. No entanto não tem preços altos como a maioria dos restaurantes do Algarve!

What a great place to eat. Best Bolognese pizza I have ever had. My wife had the lasagne which she loved. We may be coming back next and if we do this is the first place we will heading for. Top marks for the staff also.

We ate there 4 people today. None of the orders was good - they were eatable but not more than that. Air condition was too cold. Overall, one of the worst restaurants we ever ate in.s

Fabulous food but front of house was poor. Took 15 mins after sitting down to take any drink order. Then after finishing our drinks they stood empty for 30 mins. Staff were not attending, know one asked "how's your meal" at the end waiter asked do you want a dessert? What is there for dessert? He went off and after 10 mins waiting we asked for the bill, paid and left.
As I said, food was very good.
Poor front of house.
And I should add last year we came twice and really loved it. What a difference in a year.

Beautiful place food excellent lovely and pleasant staff also do a great tourist menu which is very good value and choices including a glass of wine back twice that week highly recommended this place and they are lovely with children

Já lá tinha almoçado no ano passado e tinha gostado, mas hoje trouxeram um copo de vinho branco quente e como alternativa sugeriram água, porque não tinham vinho mais fresco. A pizza do meu marido tinha vegetais que não tinham sido lavados, mostrámos aos empregados o pedaço de lama seca que estava no prato e ainda assim cobraram a pizza.

Me and my boyfriend have been almost every day for dinner during our holiday to Albufeira.
We loved the restaurant so much, the atmosphere is amazing, I felt relaxed and welcomed every time. The food is fresh and tasty. Amazing prices as well!
The waitresses have been so friendly and professional! We will definitely come back for our next holiday!

Wir sind zweimal zu Paulus gegangen und waren beide Male sehr zufrieden. Sehr feine Pasta und Pizza. Wir haben glaube ich keine 15 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet. Preise sind auch sehr gut. Nur zu empfehlen.

We ordered 6 pizzas and lasagna for take-away. The staff looked very unorganized and the waiting time was 30 minutes. The pizzas where acceptable but not as nice as expected by looking at how busy the restaurant was, and the name of the restaurant; Paulus PIZZARIA.

Absolutely loved the food here, we ended up going twice in the time we were there. The staff are lovely and attentive, the food didn't take too long and it was absolutely delicious. The desserts are very luscious so I'd be more inclined to share one than to try and eat one myself. The sangria here was also quite nice, we tried two different types, the berry one and the rose one. They also have gluten free pasta available which is great if you have a coeliac in your group like we did. They said that the pasta was the nicest they've had. And they have other gluten free dishes too. They can tailor dishes to make them gluten free too. The ravioli was the nicest dish I had here and I tried some of the veal too which melted in your mouth.

Went to this place on our last night on holiday and it did not disappoint. Food was great and the staff were very helpful and understood English very well so we had no problem with finding out what food had nuts in.

This place is class..every meal we have had has been superb. We were there last night and again tonight and will be there tomorrow night again pls God..had the Paulus rib eye steak special...was fab...makes my mouth water just thinking about it!!..They have got everything right with this restaurant...from the meals to the beautiful decor and the reasonable prices..can't wait for tomorrow night!!

Excelente local para refeição sozinho ou acompanhado. Bom ambiente, boa decoração e empregados 5*, sempre com uma simpatia extrema. Boa qualidade nos pratos e sobremesas. Para apreciadores de som ambiente, normalmente teem sempre música ao vivo que eu classifico de com qualidade. Para quem se desloca a Albufeira e procurar um restaurante Italiano, recomendo o Paulus.

Very disappointed with the lack of hospitality we received from the waitress from the minute we walked through the door. She did not greet myself and my partner at all which we said ok maybe shes busy and let it go. I had ordered a steak, which is not cheap btw and the chips came out raw. I had called the waitress to ask for chips that were cooked and yet again very poor customer service. She did not acknowledge or apologise for my uncooked food. I was left waiting nearly 10 mins for my 'cooked' chips when my meal was going cold. I asked for the manager and even then she had an attitude. The manager was very apologetic and asked us would we come back tomorrow, and also told us we did not have to pay for the unfinished meal that we left. Myself and my partner would never eat here again!!

What a fun experience! The food was good, and the tourist menu provided a multitude of choices. The wine that came with the tourist menu was so-so, but the Sangria was wonderful. The 11.50 tourist menu made our evening affordable as well.

Pros: Touristic Menu option (starter, choice of any pasta or pizza, salad, and drink) was certainly delicious and more than enough for one extremely hungry appetite. For less than 12€, it was a bargain.
Cons : Took me to call the attention of 4 waiters and the host for anyone to come take my order. Of course, by that time, they had already started to serve other customers who had come in before me.
The host was also more concerned about flirting with the female customers than paying attention to the others. I noticed other customers getting complimentary shots when they were paying the bill. Initially I reckon because I was alone (and or the only non white in the restaurant), I wasn't deemed a suitable candidate for the complimentary shot. But then I saw some other solo diners getting the freebie.

Amazing food, had pizza takeaway one day then canaloni the following day. Great place for families plus kids. We went on a Friday night and they had live music on which was great. Deserts are to die for :)

Hier kun je lekker Italiaans eten. De pizza's zijn vers gemaakt en smakelijk. Maar op het menu staan meer lekkere opties. Soms is er levende muziek in het voorste deel van het restaurant.
