Artur runs the best bar in praia da Rocha. It's been here from 1973 for a reason. Very friendly service, genuine guy , if you stay local this will become your local!!

Local onde podemos estar a saborear a nossa bebida enquanto conversamos. Funcionários simpáticos e a "mascote" foi a delícia dos mais pequenos, a arara.

They cruelly keep a parrot with clipped wings.
They own a parrot which is found on the terrace, with people walking past and taking pictures and touching it. The animal seems to only walk from side to side on the ledge of the fence and not be able to fly. It is immensely cruel to deprive a bird of its freedom to fly and to subject it to stress such as loud music and people. This animal does not belong there and it would put me off from ever entering such a primitive place.

Love bacchus bar,it's run in the old Algarvean way which means service is slow but so friendly you can't resist,full of character but not for young ones.

A really great place to go for food and drink, Artur is a fantastic host and the staff are excellent, i would probably rate it as my favorite Bar in Praia Da Rocha
