Home from home, Butch and Leslie are a lovely friendly couple. We stop here every night for a drink and you can watch sports. Fantastic view of the sea too.

Tucked away, friendly staff and welcoming of large groups. Serves breakfast/snacks, reasonably priced drinks (inc. familiar UK drinks). There's covered areas outside and sport is shown on screens inside and 1x out.

Been here a few times now.had a roast dinner here yesterday which was very good .book in advance is recommended . great view from the sun terrace . nothing to much trouble the owner is very helpful and friendly true yorkshire man. Great to watch sports. Free WiFi . Only 1 niggle when your sat on the sun terrace there's constant loud music from the surfing machine across the road but that's nothing to do with the red lion .

Great Bar very friendly staffi haven't eaten there but people seem very happy with the food it's only every day food well priced as far as I know as I said it's a very friendly pub in a nice area overlooking the busy strip

Hubby & I went there as wanted a Sunday roast. We visited and had to book a table for later. Owners very helpful & friendly. I had the beef & Hubby had mixed Sunday roast, lamb, chicken, beef & pork, which accompanied with roast potatoes, mash, Yorkshire pudding, 3 different vegetables & lots of gravy. It was excellent, struggled to eat it all. Would highly recommend if visiting this area and good value for the money.

The owners are the best about very friendly and kind. A good old laugh. There's plenty of sports shown on tv and drinks are great price. If you want great home cooked meals that your used to back home. Here is the best in albuferia. An amazing Sunday dinner. It's a must go if albuferia

Very good British meals, manager lots of fun and very friendly. Best place for gluten free food, which is always hard to find every time we go abroad. Children age 11 and 16 also enjoyed it and always asking to go back. Would recommend this place. Brian, Emma,Sam and Charlie. Billinge, Wigan.

Fantastic Christmas dinner done by Lesley and Family. Great atmosphere, made our 1st Christmas in Portugal a memorable one! Would highly recommend the red lion bar.

Love this pub the food here is excellent especially Lesley's Sunday roast. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices. Ask Butch about his concoctions and try them some are quite nice.

Great place for hen do! Reserved area with great food, cocktails, games and even a home made cake thrown in!

Great bar great food....weve just had sunday lunch it was excellent highly recomended....the wine was also of good quality...brill service....pls try it.

A nice place to have a nice meal or have a beer with friends. Not so far away from the beach and easy to find the place without a map. Traditional british meals at affordable prices.

Admit it, you always choose a "local" on holiday. This was ours. John Smith's on draught, two sky sports channels on at the same time and the tastiest breakfast around. Decent prices and some right seaviews outside. Loved it.
