O quarto é relativamente pequeno, particularmente porque temos uma bebé o que implicou adicionar um berço. E a piscina tb é reduzida. Mas tudo o resto correspondeu plenamente às nossas expectativas. As vistas envolventes tb são excelentes!

Muito bonito e bem localizado. Optimo jantar. O tratamento e atenção dos funcionários é 10 estrelas. Facilitaram-me saída tardia sem qualquer problema. Menos bem os blackouts que não vedam convenientemente em especial nos quartos para nascente.
O caminho é lindo mas arrepiante. Muito feliz pela escolha.

We loved our stay at Quinta de Casaldronho! The views from the rooms are absolutely stunning and the staff is really friendly. Breakfast was really nice and though we didnt partake in the dinner, the 3-course deal for €30 sounded delicious. We are definitely planning to stay again during our next trip to the Douro Valley.

We had a lovely 2 day stay. The hotel is surrounded by vineyards with amazing views of the Douro hills in all directions. The staff were all friendly and accommodated our American English just fine. We got excellent tips and a map with suggestions for a day touring the area and tasting local wines. The suggested lunch stop at nearby restaurant DOC was outstanding. As the hotel is part of an operating winery we enjoyed the tasting menu for dinner both nights paired with the winery's own wines, all of which were good and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return next time we visit.

Great views and comfy but way off the beaten track. Staff were very helpful. We arrived around 6pm however and we had not made a reservation to eat at the hotel. They were completely full and could not accommodate us. The drive in the dark to the hotel is quite tricky and after a long drive we did not want to venture out to look for food. There is nothing else close by as the hotel is isolated. The staff did manage to rustle something up for us.

All the rooms have a great view, and the hotel is nearby the town of Regua, but far enough that you can have a quiet time. Very nice place to stay and a great location of a vacation in the middle of your Portugal vacation.

The hotel is definitely not a 4 star, the rooms are tiny the overal hotel rate should be a 2 but the staff are very nice

It’s a winding road up to this property (about €14 one way to regua train station) but the vista is amazing and staff are sooooo nice. They are always ready to help. We also enjoyed dinner here and a walk up to see grapes hanging on trees, olives maturing on trees, etc. (in early October).

It in nowhere with no restaurants or food outlets. Unless you have a car or own transport, avoid this place. Staff and facilities are nice though.

a lot of ants in our room, bathroom fan broken, unable to lock our balcony door , hard to park our car, food is good but a little bit pricy... maybe salt and pepper on the tables because only one is not enough for the restaurant and please.. water and glasses for the breakfast!!! however personnel is very helpful and friendly

Hotel com potencial para ser muito melhor. A localização é fantástica, tem uma envolvente privilegiada. Limpo e organizado.
A sinaléctica fica aquém, uma pessoa chega de carro e não sabe onde é a entrada/ recepção do Hotel.
Os acabamentos de construção são fracos, as guardas de vidro da piscina abanam, as casas de banho tendo em conta que têm três anos não justificam ter as placas da parede do duche soltas. O caminho de acesso só tem espaço para ter um carro ( não tem largura para dois carros, ou seja não pode ter dois sentidos ).
Ideal para quem quer desligar da cidade e estar uns dias offline.

Pylône et fils électriques à l'extérieur brisent le superbe panorama. Nourriture au restaurant de l'hôtel très chère pour rien. Bon buffet petit déjeuner. Air climatisée ne fonctionnait pas très bien dans notre chambre. Service attentionné de tous les employés de l'hôtel. Chemin très difficile pour se rendre à l'hôtel et peu d'espace
pour se stationner. Petite chambre très propre.

Le rapport qualité/prix de cet hôtel est franchement décevant. L’endroit serait acceptable pour un hôtel milieu de gamme, mais pas pour un hôtel haut de gamme. Les photos de l’établissement sont très jolies mais tout est du tape-à-l’œil. Les murs sont tachés, il y avait des fissures dans les murs de notre chambre, plusieurs vitres de la rambarde autour de la piscine sont brisées et l’air conditionné de notre chambre fonctionnait mal. La nourriture du restaurant était acceptable, mais sans plus. Le vin maison était très cher (18 € la bouteille) et il n’était pas très bon. C’est décevant lorsqu’il s’agit d’un voyage dans une région vinicole. La carte des vins ne comprenait que 5 choix disponibles sur une vingtaine. Lors de notre voyage dans la vallée de Douro, nous avons fait plusieurs Quinta et celui-ci était le moins bon. Malgré tout, l’endroit est propre, le personnel est sympathique et l’hôtel est stylé.

L'hôtel est très bien tenu, les chambre sont assez spacieuse. L'hôtel est décoré avec un style moderne et épuré et dispose d'un tres bon restaurant. Le seul point négatif pourrait être les dimensions de la piscine qui sont un peu petite, mais la vue panoramique sur la vallée du douro depuis la piscine et les chambres de l'hôtel compense amplement ce petit point négatif.

The hotel is located on the top of a hill with a privelege view to the Douro Valley. The hotel has a nice pool for relaxing, also with amazing scenic views. The rooms are small, but confortable. The staff is nice and efficient.

Nice hotel tucked up in the hills surrounding Peso da Régua. Extremely quiet and peaceful. The drive to the hotel is extremely scenic, but be prepared for some steep and narrow roads. We didn’t eat at the restaurant and so can’t comment on dinner, but the buffet breakfast in the morning was fine and the cheese / meat platter in the bar was very tasty. A taxi ride into town is approximately 10 euros. Room was comfortable with a nice balcony. Better pillows would be nice touch.

We absolutely loved this wine hotel. The staff was incredible they really personalized their service to cater us on our honeymoon, it was much better than anything we have experienced in Portugal. The hotel is modern and beautiful you have a breathtaking view of the Douro valley from almost every angle of your room, the pool, and reception. The room was spacious and well equipped as a bonus you get a big sliding window door to enjoy the view and clean air the region has to offer. The restaurant served quality delicious food for a reasonable price. All in all this place is must if you want to fully experience Douro valley. Thank you to all the staff. You are all fantastic!!!

El hotel necesita mantenimiento, esta un sitio de difícil acceso, consultar antes de contratar, el personal es agradable pero pocas facilidades en cuanto a intolerancias alimenticias. Buffet escaso. Los colchones son de muelles, no son cómodos y la limpieza algo escasa. Es un hotel nuevo y es una pena que no se le cuide, así como ya he dicho el acceso al hotel y el sitio donde esta.

Very friendly and helpful service and beautiful location. Breakfast as well as other smaller details in the execution of the hotel could use some improvement (e.g very loud AC, poorly locking room doors, room layout - open bathroom right at hallway entrance etc.) Overall a satisfactory experience and a good location from which to explore Douro.

Gran Hotel, pero muy dejado, el enclave espectacular, pero se nota que no está bien cuidado, detalles que marcan la diferencia, estuvimos hace una semana, la piscina, preciosa pero nos llevamos una sorpresa al subir y encontrarnos toda la zona de tumbonas y sombrilla en muy mal estado, la habitación es pequeña, la cisterna estaba rota y el aire acondicionado hacia un ruido que era imposible dormir, menos mal que no hizo mucho calor, el día que llegamos cenamos en el restaurante y tengo que decir que muy bien tanto la comida como el servicio, pero al día siguiente en el desayuno, todo manga por hombro, la chica encargada de la sala del desayuno, sin uniforme, con unas mayas como si fuera al gimnasio, el desayuno muy descuidado, zumo aguado, cafetera en mal estado, y mucha bollería industrial, la sensación final fue que se les está escapando de las manos, si no ponen remedio en pocos meses empezará a ser un hotel mediocre.

This is a very special property! The staff is amazing and you get an amazing view and feel of the Duoro Valley! It’s very cozy and beautiful!I would try to arrive during the daylight as the drive is a bit tough - when maps tells you to turn at Quinta Blanca, don’t. You want the next driveway. Also if you can, try to book ahead for a tour of the winery. We’ve heard it’s special but we missed it.We can’t say enough good things about the fabulous staff, gorgeous views and great food and wine!Bravo to Marlen, Raul and Pedro!!

Óptimo hotel para descansar e aproveitar os vinhos da Quinta de Casaldronho e de outros produtores parceiros ou da zona. A comida é muito boa, os quartos são modernos e confortáveis.
Os funcionários são os mais simpáticos e atenciosos que já conheci.
Comida muito boa e um óptimo pequeno-almoço também.
O único senão é a área de piscina, que podia ser um pouco maior, mas ninguém estava em cima de ninguém, estivemos maravilhosamente - e a desfrutar o serviço de bar na piscina.

We stayed there for just one night. The scenery is wonderful. Though it is not the luxury type of hotel but it is clean and cozy. The only thing is the bathroom use glass door and it is transparent so it is not convenient if you travel with friends or parents with a teenage daughter.

This is a cute family run hotel beautifully renovated on stunning land. A very charming staff working for them and very modern renovated rooms should be enough to warrant 5 stars but I must share that Vitor and Leonor went above and beyond what was needed to make our stay memorable. My mother and I had booked a restaurant on a neighboring property and promptly headed out in our rental vehicle to make the reservation time, we blindly followed the GPS and wound up getting stuck down a road not meant for vehicles and was impossible to turn the car around. We called the hotel and Vitor not only was kind enough to pacify our nerves, he picked us up, took us back to the hotel and opened the kitchen for us so we could eat, the next morning he arranged his staff to tow the car out of trouble on his tractor and even insisted on seeing the town mayor to put up signage to prevent this happening in the future. Above and Beyond! My mum then realized half way back to Lisbon that she left her passport in the room safe and without hesitation victor sent a DHL with the passport back to my house. We were nightmare clients to have, and Vitor proved that the world is still of good humans, we will not hesitate to recommend this place enough to all our friends and family in Portugal. This place was beautiful. Smaller hotel so it was never crowded. The pool was awesome with a great view! A little out of the way for those who like to be right in town. Raul and Marlene and the others staff went above and beyond. They were so amazing and helpful.

Good location with a view well above the river. It is modern and in good condition. Quiet at night. The wine from this Quinta is very good. The staff was very informative and helpful. Only problem was a lingering drain smell in the room, opened the window or turned on the air conditioner and it was fine. The dinner was very good, breakfast was a bit cold for the eggs and meat, coffee wasn’t so good. I would still recommend it to someone.

Beautiful settings and service. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the food. Dinner was ok - breakfast was the same every morning for 3 mornings. For a ‘wine hotel’ they had 2 white and 2 red to choose from which was very disappointing given the region they are in.

Não sei se foi só comigo, mas o serviço foi bem desleixado nos dois dias que fiquei lá. Em um dos dias, uma bagunça foi deixada nos corredores durante o dia todo: toalhas sujas, berço com bagunça, taças sujas apoiadas nos radiadores... um hotel que se julga de alto nível não pode ter essas falhas de serviço.

Service & staff were great. We had dinner at their restaurant one night and the food was good but not amazing, so in my opinion it was a bit over priced for what they offered. Overall it's a great place and I would recommend it!

Das erste Hotel auf unserer Reise durch Nordportugal. Wir waren erst überzeugt es würde als Nummer 1 der Reise gelten, haben aber danach noch in 2 Hotels übernachtet die etwas günstiger und gleich gut bzw in einem Fall viel besser waren. Dennoch:Alles in allem ein wirklich schönes Hotel, vor allem die Lage ist einfach traumhaft! Nur wenige Minuten von der Hauptstraße aber mitten im Weinberg mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Leider zeigt das recht junge Hotel schon ein paar Gebrauchserscheinungen die es für diesen Preis und die Sternebewertung nicht aufzeigen darf. (zB abgeschlagener Lack am Einstieg zur Dusche). Ich würde hier wieder bleiben wenn ich in der Gegend bin und finde 100€ inkl. Frühstück auch angemessen.Das Personal hat uns wunderbare Restaurantempfehlungen für den Abend gegeben udn wir haben im Castas e Pratos das beste Essen der ganzen Reise zu uns genommen.
