Quarto limpo, arejado, confortável e com um banheiro excelente.
O restaurante do hotel que fica na beira do Rio Douro tem pratos deliciosos e os funcionários são muito atenciosos.

Amazing hotel. We booked for night and wished we stayed here the entire trip! It was so clean, staff were extremely friendly, the views were amazing and the room was fabulous. So spacious and clean. The pool was an added bonus even if it was freezing but such a peaceful hotel! We will be going back next year for at least 4 nights and we cannot wait. The breakfast wasn’t the best but was ok. That’s the only thing that we didn’t like everything else was so good!

Modern stylish boutique hotel. Nice pool with infinity view of Douro Valley. Standard rooms on small side and a good 10 min steep walk to town so not good for anyone with mobility issues

11 rooms, 8 are very good, with a great view to Doro valley, large rooms, tea or coffee, nice bathroom.
But 3 rooms in the same floor, are exact the opposite!!!! Small , view to a concreat wall, very bad design! It is very problematic to stay there. Please pay attention what room you get! If it is 1,10,11 just do not go !
parking is not a topic.free everywhere. Fair breakfast.

Atendimento muito simpático .
Pena ter escolhido um hotel com jacuzzi e este estar encerrado. Inicialmente tb a TV estava avariada. Preço elevado para os serviços disponíveis.

Prenez une vue sur le Douro, ça en vaut la peine. Les chambres sont petites mais au goût du jour et propres. La piscine est incroyable après une journée à marcher et découvrir les environs. Je le suggère à tous. Malheureusement, le restaurant était fermé pour le souper mais le petit déjeuner inclus était parfait.

Stunning! Wonderful location overlooking some of the most magical views we have ever seen. However, and make no mistake about it, what makes this hotel really special, are the fabulous staff. A relatively easy downhill walk of about 20 minutes to the town centre, easy taxi ride back - don't attempt the walk back!

Klein hotel (11 kamers) op een heuvel aan de Douro in Pinhao. Meeste kamers met balkon en prachtig uitzicht op de Douro! Heerlijk zwembad met gelijk prachtig uitzicht.

The staff were delightful and very helpful, were able to guide us about the train to Pocinho and the best Quintas to visit. The restaurant connected to the hotel but down in the village was also very good. The only quibble concerns the parking - while it is underground and quite sufficient, on arrival there is no place to park to register and learn about the parking. Signs or a notice would be useful.

Very good spot to spend a few days with a wonderful view over Douro river! Very cosy and friendly staff. Unfortunately there is not the possibility to have dinner there which would be a very good addition due to the lack of places to eat in Pinhão

Além do preço ser muito caro pela qualidade do quarto, no dia em que ficamos hospedados o alarme de monóxido de carbono disparou, causado por um entupimento na lareira da recepção. Nosso quarto e o hotel.inteiro estava com cheiro de fumaça. Tivemos que dormir com a porta aberta da varanda em pleno.inverno.

Beautiful view of the valley from our room. Friendly service. Weird thing about the room is a glass panel in the shower between the shower and the bedroom. In other words, there is no privacy when showering. Whoever is sitting on the bed can look right into the shower. One of the primary reasons I was looking forward to this hotel was use of the indoor hot tub (we visited in Nov) and it was broken. I know these things happen, but it was super disappointing. If visiting in the summer the outdoor pool looked lovely. The breakfast was decent but no hot food, just mostly breads, meats and cheeses, yogurt and fruit. No restaurant for evening meals. Ok location though, you can walk to the main street, down steep road/alley. Overall a nice property.

Receptionists were very helpful with reservations for dinner and information on local tours and shopping. Bed was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows. Our room had a terrace in the back, not a river view, which was disappointing, as the description on Expedia was that every room had a view, which is why I booked this hotel. Staff explained theyve reported discrepancy to Expedia several times but the wording has not been changed. Would stay here again, though, if I can get a room with a view!

Mit dem Zug von Porto nach Pinhao ... Das Wetter war in Porto noch bescheiden ... hier angekommen wurden unsere Gebete vom Wettergott erhört , perfektes Sonnenwetter.
Zuerst eine einstündige Bootstour, dann waren wir Essen ... Und dann auf zu Hotel ... und ich sag es gleich ... zu Fuß machbar ... aber schon beschwerlich ... endlich angekommen haben wir unser Zimmer bezogen ... sauberes Bad ... SUPER bequemes Doppelbett ... und eine schöne Terrasse ... Der Ausblick war .... semigut .... leider war kein Zimmer mit Tal / Flussblick mehr verfügbar. War uns aber egal ... Port- Rotwein und uns hatten wir, das war genug für einen schönen Abend.
Am nächsten Morgen hatten wir ein super Frühstück auf Wunsch mit Spiegel- Rührei .... Reichhaltigem Frühstücksbuffet, bei dem Kaffee aus der Kanne gebe ich meinen Vorrednern Recht ... der war ... NOCH gut ... Aber auch hier gab es auf Wunsch einen frischen Kaffee .... Im ganzen gesehen ... NIX ZU MECKERN.

Very charming, quiet and beautiful hotel. The location is perfect 3 min distance from Pinhao downtown where activities and se real restaurants can be found. The Staff from the Hotel is 5 stars, friendly and always available to assist.The infinity pool is also fantastic with great panoramic views over the Douro river. Breakfast is very good, good quality and variety. We definitely recommend this hotel for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Douro and Pinhao area.

Nous avons juste tester le restaurant qui offre une vue exceptionnelle sur le fleuve Douro et les collines ! Le service est accueillant agreable et en anglais ! Nous avons gouter la planche apéritif de la région et les cotelettes d'agneaux grillées. Très bons avec des prix raisonnables pour la vue. Les verres de vin sont généreux!

das hotel an sich ist schön, aber die hellen teppiche sind schon scmutzig; auf dem balkon könnte ein sonnenschirm stehen, man konnte ihn wegen der hitze nicht benutzen; am schlimmsten war jedoch der swimmingpool: der absolut nicht sauber schade denn der bereich war schöndie lage des hotels war top

Hotel was nice and modern with fantastic rooms overlooking the river. The room does get a little hot with the afternoon sun but nothing that can't be solved by sitting out on the balcony to enjoy the views! Fair warning that it's a steep climb up from Pinhao train station so it's advisable to get a taxi if you have heavy luggage.

The hotel is nicely located above Pinhao. The staff is helpful and generous. The hotel is clean and gives a very good impression. The breakfast is good. The only problem is the low comfort of the mattress and pillows; they should be replaced with bedding of higher quality.

The hotel is on the hill in Pinhao, giving it a spectacular view over the Douro River and valley. However, its not right in the town centre so youll have to drive down or walk down to the shops and restaurants. There arent any shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. We were there in winter (Dec) so it was low season and the restaurant was only open for breakfast. There was no one at the breakfast room so we couldnt order eggs, or ask for more coffee that had run out.

Modernes und gepflegtes Hotel. Empfehlenswert! Liegt auf einer Anhöhe. Ortskern zu Fuß nur über steile Straßen erreichbar. Mit Auto kein Problem.

THE HARVEST RESTAURANT
This hotel advertises its Harvest Restaurant widely, in the town of Pinao with several signposts pointing out of town, up the hill where the hotel is situated. In the hotel reception area, there were 10 copies of a leaflet extolling the cuisine.
Having already booked in, and around lunchtime after a long drive, we then found that the restaurant was CLOSED, and had been for some months. It is only open for breakfast!
No apology. Just "go to our restaurant in the town" - a good walk back down a steep hill. We felt misled, and hard done by.
Well, they did give us a small discount, but this did not make up for the irritation. You do get breakfast, with bottled orange juice, and they will give you fresh coffee - if you ask for it.
The hotel is clean, and modern, not to everyone's taste in this historic region.

We found it to a beautiful hotel very peaceful
They gave us a small bottle of port which had on the patio

Overall this was a pleasant stay in a clean modern hotel, with good views over Pinhao. The food in the restaurant was not good value for money and was served on cold plates. The staff were messing about and running to/from kitchen laughing & making a lot of noise. The rest of the time the restaurant was silent and the tables for two too close together. An improvement in the ambience of the restaurant is much needed. Walking back to hotel at night is not recommended. Take a taxi at 5-6Euros from outside station.

Hotelm situated overlooking the Douro river.Steep hill down to Pinhao which is 10 minutes down and 20 minutes back. Definitely 3 star, limited staff and poor quality restaurant. Swimming pool green with algae and very poor spa facility. In rooms with shower the shower and toilet are only screened from the bedroom with a clear glass panel so little or no privacy. Very overpriced.

You can walk up to the hotel from the station but it is quite a climb, quick ten minutes down though. Restaurants and bars in town are great value. Food in hotel was of a very high quality and plenty of it but more expensive than local although compared well to English prices. Balcony was large but would recommned a river view as we had a room at the back which faced a very high stone wall (not very attractive). Welcoming bottle of port was lovely. Staff helpful and sorted early breakfast so we could catch 8.17 train back to Porto.

Kleines, sehr gestyltes Hotel mit gepflegter Anlage. Normale Zimmer sehr klein, wir haben deshalb in die Suite gewechselt. Personal nicht sehr hilfsbereit. Service im Restaurant schlecht und Essen nicht den Erwartungen entsprechend.

The Hotel is lovely, ideal spot overlooking the vineyards. Breakfast was ample and tasty. The air conditioning in the room we had did not work so it was pretty hot and the toilet in the second room was leaking. If you like Port this is the place to stay but they dont serve wine in the hotel, which i thought was a little odd. Be careful with the car park as the ramp is severe and our hire car grounded both in and out. All this said its a beautiful hotel.

We loved our stay here! Being 'flashpackers', we treated ourselves to one night here whilst staying in Porto, for a bit of R and R. The hotel is a very short taxi uphill from the train station (worth taxing, not hiking,) and is lovely! We were welcomed with an early check-in, a lovely room, complete with a view of the Douro and a complimentary bottle of LBW Port. The Pool is spectacular and we had a lovely afternoon, lounging in and around it before sampling the LBV on our balcony and enjoying a yummy meal in the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again, our only complaint is that we wished we had stayed longer!
