Beleza Natural, Acomodações e Hospitalidade

Positive: Great (though remote) location, brilliant for walking in Faia Brava and on the long distance Coa Valley trail. Very nice facilities, great pool. They are preparing a beautiful short walking trail to a nearby viewing point (I saw a golden eagle above the village, and you can hear nightingales and red-necked night jars from within the village!). The staff tell me they are building a restaurant / indoor communal area which I'm sure will enhance things further. Charming old village. A few dogs around to bark occasionally, depending which bit of complex you're in, but that seems standard in Portugal! Good luck to this enterprising project.. Negative: Currently it's 20km or so to a restaurant, but they are changing this. When they complete their restaurant it will have a great view and be a perfect place to relax. I will come back!.

Positiva: La ubicación ideal para desconectar ya q no hay nada, ni tiendas, ni bares solo naturaleza.. Negativa: Todo es extraordinario, la única pega es q para el hostel, solo tienes la habitación con las literas, le falta una zona de estar a cubierto y una zona de cocina..

Positive: If you want to stay in real Portugal village , but with comfort - this is the place. Only few people live in the village, so no shops or restaurants. In the morning you could see real rural life. We will come back!.

This is a truly magical place with Fantastically restored site. The hostel is spectacular and any visitors to Portugal should not miss this hidden gem

Ajunda fundamental no desenvolvimento de cidadelhe

Positiva: Estuvimos en el apartamento para tres personas, era amplio y acogedor, estaba muy bien decorado. Nos cambiaron las toallas y limpiaron el apartamento al siguiente dia. Todo muy nuevo. Contratamos los desayunos, y los disfrutamos por la cantidad y calidad de los productos que casi todos eran caseros y de la zona. El personal fue muy amable. Todas las instalaciones, piscina, barbacoa, horno de pizzas, ... eran muy completas, ademas de ofrecer otras actividades, que por falta de tiempo no pudimos realizar..

Para quem procura o sossego e a Natureza é sem dúvida um local a escolher. Bom serviço, todo o staff e moradores muito hospitaleiros

Dentro deste conceito de alojamento, é muito bom! Instalações com boas condições, enquadramento da aldeia, disponibilidade dos anfitriões.

Excelente para passar muitos dias no mais absoluto descanso

Positive: The hosts were very friendly and helpful!!! We didn't realise there was a swimming pool, which was so exciting as it was 38 degrees when we were there. The village has to be seen to be believed, stunning and I'm sure very much in the up once the restoration is complete. It was very romantic and with so much history - everything is made of solid granite. They just opened a new museum there for the pallium made in 1707- see Jose saramago, journey to Portugal.. Negative: At the moment there are no shops / bars in the village so you need to bring everything with you. It's quite a drive from the nearby town so this takes some planning, however the roads are fine and the area is beautiful to drive though. There is a fridge and a microwave that you can use at the property. Google maps tried to send us to Pinhel, but the property is in Cidadelhe so watch out for this..

Fantástico lugar para desconectar y disfrutar de la naturaleza

Positive: Cidadelhe is a pictoresque stone village with beautiful surrounding landscape. The family that runs the hotel is the perfect host, always making sure we're comfortable and have everything we need. Large and pleasant swimming pool. Very quiet. Price/quality difficult to beat in Portugal. Very complete breakfast served at budget price. The hosts have a sound knowledge of the region and can advice on best visits and trackings. We're a Portuguese-Dutch family of five; the children specially enjoyed the one-week stay. Spotting wild horses nearby, all the hours spent at the pool and the kindness of these hosts will be remembered. Obrigado!. Negative: The interior decoration of the rooms could have more elements of the region and sort of landscape. It could be a hotel/hostel room anywhere in any small town and not an accommodation that reflects its surroundings..

Lindo e perfecto para relax

Positivo: A aldeia de Cidadelhe e o seu alojamento foi uma fantástica descoberta! Inesperada e, por isso, mais saborosa! Aldeia pitoresca, com gente simpática, casas acolhedoras, sabores tradicionais e paisagens arrebatadoras! A juntar a isto tudo a adrenalina do todo o terreno e a descoberta de grifos, falcões, cavalos garranos e até uma pequena joaninha... na infância tão comum e agora tão rara! Sem dúvida... a repetir!.

Positivo: Alojamento impecavelmente limpo, quartos espaçosos e muito confortaveis. Os donos são muito simpáticos e atenciosos. O pequeno almoço, por 4€, é excelente, com locais, e as senhoras que o servem, e que confeccionam alguns dos produtos, são também muito simpáticas. A aldeia é muito bonita e ideal para quem gosta da natureza e da tranquilidade do campo. Adoramos, recomendamos e queremos voltar.. Negativo: Nada a referir..

Atendimento excelente flexibilidade no check in, tivemos necessidade de chegar mais tarde e não houve qualquer problema. O conceito é fantástico, cada quarto é uma casa. Tudo excelente. Vou recomendar e pretendo voltar.

Positiv: Wenn man die Unterkunft in der Nebensaison (und unter der Woche) bucht, muss man damit rechnen, dass man nur wenige (oder keine) Nachbarn hat. Andererseits hat man dadurch auch die Chance auf freundlichen Kontakt zur benachbarten Bewohnerin. Wir hatten auch das Glück, dass wir als die einzigen Gäste für diese zwei Nächtee ein Upgrade bekamen und statt des kleinen Einzimmerhäuschens die Casa da Tartaruga mit Küche gegenüber des Schwimmbades. Zwei Nächte= ein Tag waren leider zu kurz : Wir sind auf eigene Faust hinunter an den Rio Côa und hatten uns nicht um eine Führung zu den Felsmalereien gekümmert. Zeichnungen haben wir dadurch nicht entdeckt, dafür hatten wir das Glück, dass sich ein Fischotter im Fluss sehen ließ :-). Einen Eisvogel , Blaumerlen und andere Vögel gab es ebenfalls. Das vielfältige Frühstück wurde uns von der sehr netten Angestellten liebevoll im Gemeinschaftsraum bereitet und ließ für uns keine Wünsche offen. Unbedingt den hausgemachten quietschgrünen süßen Kuchen probieren! Am Abend wurde uns zum Trost für die geschlossene Dorfbar zwei Bierchen ausgegeben. (Man hätte auch Wein , Honig, Käse oder Knabbereien bekommen/erwerben können) Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass diese Bar im Oberdorf nicht unbedingt zur Verfügung steht. In der Saison und an Wochenenden ist dies sicher anders. Dann dürfte aber auch einiges an Leben an der großzügigen Grill"station" im Schwimmbadgelände sein. Fazit: Ich komme sehr gerne wieder-diese karge Landschaft mit ihren Granitfelsen, Olivenbäumen und Geiern , sowie die Lage hat etwas Besonderes. Noch schöner ist es sicher im Frühling- aber ob ich dann in den Pool gehe...?. Negativ: Eher konstruktive Kritik: Es müsste klar sein, ob und wann die Bar im Oberdorf offen hat. Evtl Hinweise, wann die Kirche geöffnet ist, wären super. Dass es kein Restaurant in der Nähe gibt, war uns klar..

Positiva: Son casitas pequeñas individuales. Nosotras estuvimos en la casita para dos de cama de matrimonio y es muy muy bonita y muy cómoda. Es un pueblo de piedra precioso muy muy tranquilo. Sin duda, repetiremos. Respecto al personal, hablamos más con la mujer que lo lleva y es muy agradable. Nos aconsejó sobre la zona e incluso nos prestó un sacacorchos jajaja. Inmejorable. Gracias!. Negativa: Nada podría haber ido mejor..

Local acolhedor, longe da civilização. Também por essa razão fica a 30min de restaurantes e cafés. Dificu ligeiramente ultrapassada devido à oferta de um ótimo pequeno almoço no alojamento

Um turismo rural ao nível de um bom hotel. Tudo é Bom, desde os empregados prestáveis e simpáticos. O alojamento é feito em casinhas típicas da zona, mas completamente renovadas e equipadas. Tem piscina e jacuzzi no exterior. Recomendo e pretendo voltar.

Positif: Emplacement isolé dans un site naturel magnifique Village en vieille pierre avec tout le confort nécessaire Piscine avec vue imprenable Équipement pour bbq Personnel souriant et chaleureux.

Positif: +++ le calme, le bal des oiseaux au dessus de la piscine, les levers et couchers de soleil, la gentillesse des habitants du village malgré notre non-maîtrise du portugais +++ L'accès à la cuisine d'été à côté de la piscine + le frigo dans le logement : un confort très appréciable +++ La gentillesse de toutes les personnes qui gèrent ce lieu On recommande la découverte de la réserve de Faia avec Nelson.. Négatif: rien.

Positief: Zeer leuk concept van oude dorpshuisjes die werden vernieuwd tot zeer comfortabele kamers/ studio's. Ook de gemeenschappelijke bbq zone en zwembad zijn tof. Het ontbijt is super. Ook het dorp zelf is uniek gelegen in/boven de coa vallei. De ganse regio was een zeer aangename verrassing voor ons, met de rivier Coa als summum. Een echte natuurparel met erbovenop unieke unesco-erfgoed tekeningen uit de oudheid op de rotsen. Ideaal voor wandelaars en natuurliefhebbers..

Excelente local para disfrutar de uma estadia tranquila. Pequena aldeia sossegada, muito arranjadinha e limpa, com todas as condições para passar uns dias em família junto da natureza. Os quartos são bastante acolhedores e confortáveis e o pequeno almoço bastante variado e caseirinho. Local a repetir, sem dúvida!

Positive: Colazione ottima e varia. Camera moderna con tutti i comfort. Paesaggio fantastico. Un po' complicato da raggiungere ma ne vale la pena. Vi consigloo di comprarvi da mangiare perché il ristorante più vicino è a 21 km!.

Maravilloso lugar, super tranquilo y la gente del pueblo muy acogedora.

Positive: Villaggio ristrutturato in maniera preziosa con recupero delle vecchie case in un luogo fuori dal mondo. Colazione ottima .i ristoranti sono lontani da questo antico villaggio Quindi è meglio organizzarsi se si vuole cenare senza spostarsi. Negazione: Nulla.

Paz e sossego descanso absoluto
