Não conheço o hotel, mas sim o restaurante que fica no hotel, um local muito bem conseguido, com um serviço simpático, comemos um caldo de couves que estava muito agradável, de seguida uma truta com amêndoas laminadas e umas febras com migas, sem deslumbrar, mas conseguiu satisfazer-nos o apetite.

Lovely rural Hotel. Breakfast was really good.
Dinner too. Service 5*. Staff so nice and helpful. You can park in the square.
We had a huge triple room with comfy beds.
Would stay again.
Be sure to make time to visit the Castle on the top of the Hill and quaint little village.
You can take the car right to the top. We just missed a Medieval Fair in October by a day, such a shame!

Immer wieder schön.... der Kellner sagte mur um 20:00 draussen sitzen is nicht. Völlig unverständlich. Es waren 29 Grad. Zum Glück gibt es umliegend andere nette Gastronomen die kapieren warum man das Land besucht. Schade... 3x zu Gast aber nie wieder.

Awesome rooms, and service. Really diverse food options ( breakfast and other meals ). Really comfortable beds and extraordinary hygiene. ( inside the castle walls )
Staff is really nice and friendly.
Several room options, but you might need to sacrifice room view for an extra bed, as those rooms are bigger, but have a lesser panoramic view.
Rooms are quiet and you won't hear much ( or any) noise from the outside
Bathrooms are super clean and spacious. ( be mindful of the type of room you picked, as bathroom sizes might vary )
Has a safe and mini-fridge.
Good hanging out areas, with open patio, right near the restaurant.
Dinning hours start from 19:30.
Some rooms might not have Wi-Fi, which can be problematic, but those who do, enjoy a good connection speed.
Restaurant prices are a bit higher than surrounding options. ( apart from menu for children, the cheapest option is around 10€ ).
Bedroom prices are very reasonable, considering the comfort and services available. Well within the price range for this location / area.
Overall, an amazing place to spend a few days and relax after a day of visiting the amazing surroundings. Great option for family holidays or romantic get aways.

We had in mind to try one of our favourites Portuguese dishes "Porco à Alentejana" while we were visiting Alentejo region (Marvão Village) and we can tell that was just the best "Porco à Alentejana" we have ate so far!!! And we have already tried in a couple of Portugueses restaurants, and this was just delicious! The main dish was good, the service was friendly and helpful and the place it's cozy and inviting. We totally recommend it!

Surpreendente. Chegamos sem esperar muito de um hotel 3 estrelas numa cidade tão pequenina, mas fomos bem recebidos desde a chegada. As instalações são simpáticas, limpas e os mínimos detalhes são pensados para agradar ao cliente. Não reservamos o jantar no hotel, pois queríamos conhecer algum lugar diferente dentro da cidade murada, mas por ser domingo à noite, não havia opções perto e de forma muito afável nos foi dito que para hóspedes sempre haverá uma mesa. O jantar foi simplesmente incrível! Comida excelente, atendimento eficiente, cortes e rápido. Todos muito educados e simpáticos. Super recomendado!

Excellent location if you want to visit the old fortress. Friendly and helpful staff, the room is a bit on the .small size but comfortable. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Muito bom. Super limpo, funcionários 5 estrelas. Sítio ideal para descansar. Pequeno almoço muito bom e variado. Se não fosse por algumas áreas mais reduzidas, o que é normal num hotel situado numa zona histórica, podia fácilmente ser classificado com 4 estrelas. Recomendo vivamente.

This is a charming hotel. It was so clean you could eat off the floor. Everything about it was considered in detail. The breakfast was lovely, as were all the staff. It’s situated in the most exquisite part of Portugal; you have to pinch yourself to believe it’s beauty.

Ficamos uma noite neste hotel em viagem de regresso de férias em Espanha.
O Hotel é uma preciosidade em todos os aspectos: Os quartos têm o necessário, com conforto e modernidade, excelente bom gosto e funcionalidade; A recepção é perfeita, na medida certa; A sala de restaurante/pequeno almoço é muito bem conseguida; o pequeno almoço é de super qualidade e diversidade; o estacionamento fácil e gratuito; a atenção em todos os detalhes de decoração é imbatível; a limpeza irrepreensível.
Depois de uns dias pelo Norte de Espanha, este hotel foi o melhor do passeio.

I am usually very positive about hotels and try to write positive reviews but here I am afraid the experience was just awful. We arrived at the hotel and found out that the room we booked was gone. We called 1 hour before to book it, but ok, it can happen. The owner then offered us a more expensive room and agreed upon request to be discount it by 5 euros if we pay cash, which we agreed. We checked the room and figured out that the double bed was quite small so we asked if we could see a twin bed room. We hesitated 1 minute between the two, enough for the owner to kick us out of his hotel. Just rude behavior. This guy should change job honestly, he is arrogant and rude. Shame on him. Irrespectful behavior.

Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Le cadre est agréable l'accueil parfait et le bacalho à bras délicieux.Assez classe sans que les prix soient élevés. Très bon rapport Q/P. Dommage il n'y a pas de terrasse pour manger dehors, mais c'est compensé par un patio inestimable pendant les grosses chaleurs.

Hotel pequeño atendido muy bien por sus dueños. Ubicación excelente dentro de una ciudad medieval amurallada. Buena cocina. No ir con camioneta. Hay que pasar por puertas de la muralla bastante angostas.

Quarto bastante espaçoso e confortável, donos e funcionários simpáticos e profissionais, pequeno almoço ao nível de muitos hotéis com mais estrelas, restaurante com boa variedade e qualidade (embora um pouco caro). Se regressar ao Marvão, tenciono ficar aqui hospedada novamente.

Hotel con una ubicación ideal para disfrutar de la villa de Marvão, trato excelente, y muy limpio por lo general. El recibimiento con limonada casera de 10 y la ducha con alcachofa gigante es de lo mejor para un viajero agotado. El desayuno la mar de completo así como de buena calidad... Volvería sin duda!

Zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Speisenangebot im eigenen Restaurant befriedigend, der Service ist aufmerksam.

We hebben gisteren, 28-09-2016, in het restaurant gegeten. Het was de eerste, maar tevens ook de laatste keer. We moesten tot drie keer toe opnieuw water bestellen. De groentesoep was matig. De Kingfish bestond vooral uit graat en toen we hier een opmerking over maakten, reageerde de ober geïrriteerd.
We kozen dit restaurant, omdat op het raam vermeld stond dat het door Michelin wordt aanbevolen. Verbazingwekkend. Een slechte ervaring!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Reception from management was great. Restaurant food was very good and the waiter was very attentive and helpful. WiFi reception was very good - no dropouts. Room and hotel was very clean and shower was excellent compared to other places we have stayed. Overall a very nice place to stay.

We had a good stay; the manager was v helpful with an onward booking. the room though was a little cold; it only really warmed up early in the morning. The double bed was a bit small for the two of us. Although not the finest dining the meals were adequate.

The first hotel you find when you enter through the city wall. Easy parking. Just lovely in all possible ways. Everything is clean and in prefect condition. The room was great, the lobby, relaxing areas etc. Good wifi and good breakfast. Cannot find anything to complain about.
