Precioso lugar y grandes vinos

Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l’hotel, recommandé par le routard. La déception est à la hauteur de la beauté du cadre. Une nourriture insipide, de mauvaise qualité (peu de sauces sont faites maison visiblement), harmonie des saveurs inexistantes voire douteuse (panacotta aux champignons). Les desserts ne sont pas frais, de sorte que le moelleux ou le croustillant, selon le choix, a disparu. Les vins, pourtant la spécialité de la région, sont servis trop jeunes, trop frais ou trop aérés. Un véritable scandale au regard des prix (près de 110€/pers).

A visita é inesquecível, o atendimento, o local são incríveis. O restaurante é muito bem organizado, o Chef local faz pratos deliciosos. Amei verdadeiramente a visita!

Heel mooie locatie! Vriendelijke ontvangst en zeer mooie kamers! Ook zeer fijn eten, het ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en het avondeten is fantastisch! Een menu 's avonds is ongeveer 46 euro. Ook een zalig zwembad met de perfecte temperatuur om even af te koelen. Naast het zwembad staan er een paar ligbedden om even uit te rusten. Rond het domein kun je ook een paar wandelingen maken die variëren tussen 1 km en 6 km. Het uitzicht is fenomenaal! De weg ernaar toe is goed aangeduid met pijlen. Je kan ook de wijngaarden bezoeken en wijnflessen/porto kopen en proeven.

Disappointing, and overpriced. One of the "better" wine flights costs 39 Euro, but the wine is 55 Euro, 18 Euro and 14 Euro. Not worth it. Skip this winery and go to some of the better ones in the region.

Fantasic experience! Enjoyed with our 3 kids of a calm and beautiful place. Kids love it, service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

Quem possa, venha passar um dia neste lugar lindo, tranquilo e muito interessante. A visita guiada é muito boa, os quartos são ótimos, o serviço fantástico e a comida... Divina!!!

Beautiful view and very impressive visit, very knowledgeable guide. Don't miss the beautiful view and the very good restaurant. Try to ask for an aged vintage port, which they will open with the much needed tradition. If possible, ask yo get back from there by a boat, on the Douro river

Luxe et expérience inoubliable

Nice setting, as with most area wineries. I found the tasting expensive, it's like tastings are their main revenue/goal, not selling bottles to take away. The flights were also set, so tasting three different levels of the same varietal would require 3 flights. The upside is that I didn't feel any obligation to buy anything that I didn't absolutely love; which I didn't.

Kugar paradisiaco, staff fantástico

Rustic Luxury overlooking the Douro Valley! In this case, by “rustic” I mean comfortable, relaxing, un-stuffy, and quiet. White tablecloth service at every meal is pretty (Portuguese ceramics), not pretentious. The people here are very welcoming, the service, food, and wine are excellent. You can choose to add one of several wine pairings to lunch or dinner. Delicious breakfast served with outstanding attention to details: the scrambled eggs are not cooked until the first guest come in to breakfast, and there is a choice of making your own espresso or getting ready-made coffee. Rooms are very comfortable (and our “twin” beds were more like full size), quiet, and beautiful. A nice touch in our bathroom (terrace level) was a slate floor in the bathroom – non-skid and not as cold as marble. There is a living room where guests can relax, read, and even have snacks, as well as the delicious Quinta Nova wine. The covered terrace, complete with chairs and tables, overlooks the valley, and there is a spa and pool. Parking is on-site. We would have loved to stay longer.

Absolutely awesome. Great staff. Good food and the wines were excellent. In addition the views of the valley and river were breathtaking.

Great experience, we stayed for one night and had a wine tour and dinner. Great service and friendly staff, food and wine superb. Room comfortable, spacious and clean, great views of the river Duoro and the landsscape.

Based on the pricing my expectations for the quinta were high. We were lucky to see the wine cellars during the harvest but the info provided during the tour was minimalistic. We chose the slightly upgraded wine tasting, sadly the wines did not impress and stayed on the high acidic side. The lunch at the restaurant was nice, however for the price tag of 75€ per person for a 3 course meal with 3 wines I expected more - and not the 4€ for 0.75 water bottle price tag - definitely much much lower value for money than in some other quintas nearby (Carvalho, Portal, de la Rosa). It is nice, but it just doesn’t reach the price tag unfortunately.

Non abbiamo soggiornato, siamo stati qui per una visita guidata dell'azienda con degustazione dei vini seguito da un pranzo nel ristorante. Prenotare è fortemente consigliato. L'azienda è stupenda e la vista sul duoro è spettacolare. La visita è in lingua inglese, racconta la storia dell'azienda e il modo di lavorazione e produzione del vino. Per la degustazione ci sono diverse possibilità, da 20 a 90€ in base ai vini scelti. È stata una esperienza interessante e suggestiva. A seguire abbiamo pranzato all'aperto nel ristorante dell'azienda. È possibile scegliere fra un menù di tre o cinque portate, tra antipasto, secondo e dessert. Superfluo dire che la cucina è ottima, raffinata e ricercata. Consigliato per rilassarsi e mangiare e bere raffinato.

Posto bellissimo ma inaccessibile sia per i prezzi del cibo che del personale inospitale e davvero poco accogliente

Boa qualidade como sempre. Pena o barulho dos clientes, mas vale o sacrifício. Recomendo.

Vistas incríveis, espaço bonito e extremamente bem arranjado, restaurante de altíssima qualidade e de cozinha de autor. Altamente recomendável, experiência inesquecível!

La quinta se encuentra en un lugar privilegiado en el valle del Douro, su producción de vinos es extraordinaria. Disfrutar de la gastronomía de la zona en el restaurante es una gran experiencia.

Be sure to book a tour as far in advance as possible, especially during the summer. The wines are very good and even if you don't get on a tour you can still sit and look out over the beautiful vistas onto the Douro valley while tasting some of the wines. Just fyi, it's a *very* long drive to get here....

Eten was zeer goed . Hebben een nachtje moeten doorbrengen in een kamer met een kapotte airco (vreselijk veel lawaai en geen oog dichtgedaan ) pas de volgende nacht een andere kamer gekregen en voor de rest alleen een sorry ...

Foi sob uns tórridos 40° que visitei a Quinta, a adega, a capela e, por fim a loja. De notar, que o 'guia' foi formidável nas explicações, nas estórias, na clareza da informação! As provas são caras e a visita não lhe fica atrás.... Não obstante, optei pela prova reserva e um Quinta Nova grande reserva que não decepcionou. Todos os espaços por onde passei estão muito cuidados. A paisagem é inspiradora. E deslumbrante.

Un lugar expectacular con una comida deliciosa

Se pensam que já viram tudo, não o creiam porque este lugar é o paraíso que qualquer um de nós imagina como verdadeiro paraíso. Situado numa encosta do Douro, Trás-os-Montes, com o rio Douro a dividir majestoso as duas margens. A paisagem magnífica, o lugar é de cortar a respiração de tão belo! É uma quinta de 1788, com uma capelinha lindíssima! Tem uma parte da casa com os quartos todos mobilados com mobília antiga. As camas são muito confortáveis. Ao sair do quarto estamos logo num enorme alpendre com sofás e mesas onde, à noite ,podemos usufruir de um céu repleto de estrelas, do ventinho suave a acariciar a nossa pele e respirar o perfume a terra a vinha e alfazema ,tudo isto enquanto tomamos um chá com uma louça lindíssima. Dentro da casa existem salas maravilhosamente decoradas. Umas podem ser sala de convívio com jogos, outras sala de leitura com livros de uma qualidade invejável. Ainda há uma sala com televisão. É como se estivéssemos em casa, a nossa luxuosa casa de campo. Por todo o lado podemos observar pequenos apontamentos de objetos reciclados com uma criatividade e bom gosto fora do comum. Está quinta produz vinhos de mesa. Ao jantar e ao almoço podemos degustar os vários vinhos com um jantar gourmet na sala de refeições e lá fora uma degustação com tábua de enchidos e queijos. Este lugar não é nada económico mas o preço justo para todo o luxo que nos é presenteado durante a nossa estadia. Aconselho vivamente este lugar!

É muito caro, as refeições são demasiado gourmet, de noite não tem nenhum entretenimento, cheia de mosquitos, não tem loja dentro ne perto, pois é do pior.

Excelente espaco para ferias no campo com vista para o Douro.
