The hotel dominates a vineyard town below which offers gorgeous views of the fields close by and hills beyond. The wet evening didnt allow us to linger outdoors after check in, but the dry morning did after breakfast. The hotel appointments are well chosen and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Bar is fairly priced. Dinner has only a one fixed menu option, so take your own along or drive into town.

Stay here! This place is so incredibly beautiful . I honestly cannot believe how inexpensive it is, in the USA it would be $400+ a night! It is located in the Douro Wine Valley, in the small town of Provesende. I am so glad that I stayed a little off the beaten path vs a large town that has tourist buses in it. As for the property it is absolutely stunning, vineyards, flowers, beautiful patio and gorgeous pool. The town is a short 5 minute walk and they have a nice small town square with a church, funky cafe bar etc... The rooms are comfortable and very clean, I stayed in Room #2 which is perfect for a single or small couple, I believe it is the smallest room, others are bigger. The breakfast included is delicious, homemade bread, pastries, juice, fruit, meat etc... Dinner is offered each night to guests, I ate there twice $20 Euros for 3 course meal and a glass of wine from a neighboring vineyard was $4. The food was outstanding. The chef is very personable and loves to cook. The first night was my favorite, salad with homemade cod pastry cheese cake, fresh grilled local fish with Portuguese style vegetables and wild rice with nuts, served with olives and bread to start. The food was so good, definitely eat there! The staff was very kind to me! Please do not research another place, this is the best! Oh and free parking too.

The view from the front deck reminded us of Tuscany. The meals we had were excellent. The rooms are basic but why would you do more than use it to sleep.

Endroit serein et magnifique. Le personnel est très sympathique et à disposition. Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit à l’hôtel, c’est notre seul regret.

Malgré un restaurant qui ouvre jusqu’à 21h, on nous a refusé à 20h lors de notre arrivée à l’hôtel. On nous a dit de faire 20 minutes de route pour aller manger à un autre restaurant et tous les restaurants indiqués étaient fermés. L’hôtel a quand même rouvert sa cuisine pour nous servir à 21h soit, 1 heure après notre précédente arrivée. C’est inadmissible. Les rideaux ne sont pas occultants ce qui fait que nous étions réveillés à 6h30 le matin avec le soleil. D’autre part, nous entendions tous les bruits dans le restaurant de la chambre et également les bruits des autres résidents dans leur chambre. Très compliqué pour dormir. Les toilettes de la réception ne fonctionnaient pas également.

This place is a little hidden gem! The scenery and view is breathtaking. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here, they made our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

A Duoro völgye csodálatos hely. Ez a szállás egész Portuláliai kirándulunk alatt a legjobb volt. Kedves a személyzet, isteni a stake, választékos a reggeli. A szoba tiszta, ízléses és modern. A falu nagyon hangulatos, van egy kis kocsma a faluban ahol 50 centért boroztunk, vendégszeretőek az emberek.

기차역과는 멀지만, 택시를 타고 이곳까지 오면서 볼 수 있는 경치는 도우루밸리 중 최강급임. 사진을 못찍은게 아쉬울 정도로, 왠만한 와이너리나 투어는 비교할 수 없는 수준급의 경치를 보면서 올 수 있음. 숙소 시설도 굉장히 깔끔하고 여유롭게 휴양을 즐기기에 적합함.

La vue est spectaculaire avec la piscine qui plombe au dessus du Douro . Les propriétaires sont super accueillants et ultra aidants . Cet endroit est mémorable .

Hervorragende Lage und eine kleine Auswahl an sehr guten Weinen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Küche hat leider spürbar nachgelassen, oder aber sie hatte bei unserem dritten Besuch einen ungewöhnlich schlechten Tag. Die Zimmer bedürfen kleinerer Schönheitsreparaturen und die Zimmermappen müssen dringend auf den aktuellen Stand gebracht werden.

Lendroit est neuf, propre et la vue sur les montagnes est à faire rêver. Personnel est sympathique. Déjeuner bien correct. Fruits frais. Ce fut un endroit coup de cœur. Jai adoré. Je recommande très fortement.

Fantastic view and place. Very good service and nice rooms, but breakfast is not good. Instant coffee, no eggs and only one cheese and one sort of meatslices of industrial lidl quality. Most of the stuff is from lidl and not local. Such a fantastic place need a better food. 5Euro more per night for better food would be better.

Superbe établissement perdu au milieu des vignes. Tout était parfait, laccueil, la chambre, le paysage. Possibilité de diner sur place. Repas simple mais très bon. Excellent petit dejeuner. Très calme. Pour sy rendre, il faut vraiment le vouloir, mais une fois sur place, on nest pas déçu . On est enchanté par tout. Une très belle adresse !

This was my 5th stay here and we had taken our friends with us this time. They also love it. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the rooms are not large, but are large enough and very well equipped, with lovely bathrooms. We ate here both nights of our stay and the food was very good, and there was also a good choice at breakfast. The views from the property are stunning, and it is in a very peaceful position, which makes for a very relaxing break.

We loved our stay here. In near Pinhao, but the nearest town is small and quiet...which is just what we wanted. The staff was very friendly, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. The only thing we’d change when we go back is to book the suite.
