A caminho de Fátima aqui fomos gentil e familiarmente acolhidos. A D. Paula e a Maria (a mascote) receberam-nos como a uma familia. Recepção, acolhimento, instalações e comida, tudo em ambiente familiar e muito bom. O sossego e o contacto com a pura natureza fizeram desta estadia uma maravilha. A não perder. Obrigado D. Paula. Hier lebt noch der wahre Camino! Echte freundliche Herzlichkeit. Angenehme Räume. Oase der Erholung für diejenigen, die das noch zu schätzen wissen! Die andern stört vielleicht das nächtliche Heulkonzert der von der Strasse in Obhut genommenen Hunde im Gehege. Mich und die anderen unserer Gruppe hat das eher amüsiert. Tolles Abendessen. Super Frühstück. Herzlicher Empfang und persönlicher Abschied. Kostenlose Zusatzleistung Wäsche waschen. Ach wenn doch alle Verbergen so wären!

The best albergue we had on a Portuguese Cammino. We came across it by accident and thankfully had a chance to be (first Croatian!) guests of Dona Paula.

I was with Paula the end of april 2018. I had a wonderful click with her. She is kind, has humor, is a great cook and her quinta is wonderfull stylish renovated. A beautiful garden, an amazing dormitory and o so quiet. Jou would like to stay there!

2 days pretty tough, feeling sick. At the right moment I decided to listen the signs of my body and to... stop. I am grateful that this stop for 2 days was in the perfect place, at Quinta da Burra in Porto de Muge. Almost instant connection with Paula, the owner, who practically open her own house to accommodate the pilgrims on their journey on Camino Portugues. It is really 'at home' the feeling in Quinta da Burra. Angels show in different ways, in different moments in our lives.

There are places, which make you smile from the first moment. This one - is of this kind without any doubt! Everything a pilgrim on the Camino may dream about: a bed, hot shower, a welcome drink (tea or freshly squeezed orange juice); laundry for free; dinner and breakfast. And a place itself with a very special warm athmosphere. Did I mention the hospitality and very kind smile of donna Paula? No doubts, the best place to stay on Camino!!! P.S. Looks like İ’m the first Russian to visit it :)

Stay here. Don't bother looking elsewhere. Dona Paula welcomed us with offers of tea, freshly squeezed orange juice from her own trees, offers to do our washing and a big smile & open heart. Our room, whilst simple had all we needed....a hot shower and a comfortable bed. We had a communal dinner a good breakfast and a sandwich to keep us going along the way. Paula has a heart of gold. Moments like these are what make the Camino a wonderful experience.

If you are anywhere near Porto de Muge, or if you are on the Camino Portugues, then you must stay here. It is run by a lovely woman called Paula who lives here with her 91 yo mother and husband. She is a retired architect who has spent the last 10 years renovating an old run down farmhouse. She has 3 private rooms, a dorm, and a small cottage. She will cook dinner and breakfast for you, pack you sandwiches for the next day, and wash your clothes for free. 20 eur per person, and I gave a small tip for the meals and washing. She is a kind, gentle, loving soul and it felt like such a special sanctuary for me along my Camino hike.

이곳은 순례자들을 위한 진정한 휴식처를 제공합니다. 여주인인 paula여사는 정말 친절한 분이죠. 이곳에 있는 강아지 마리아도 너무 귀여워요. 핀란드에서 온 pauli와 며칠간 같이 걷다가 헤어진 곳이 바로 여기입니다. 빠울리는 다리가 아파서 더이상 걸을 수 없었고 나는 일정상 산타렝까지 가야했기에 어쩔 수 없이 격한 포옹을 하고 난뒤 헤어졌죠. 잠시 들렀다 가려는데 주인 아주머니가 시원한 오렌지 주스를 주며 편안히 쉴 수 있게 해줬습니다. 순례자를 위한 따스한 마음이 느껴졌어요. 호날두의 고향인 마데이라 섬에서 태어났다고 하는데 우연히 시작한 이 숙박업이 재미있다고 하십니다. 항상 건강하시길!!

тихое место, очень душевная хозяйка , чем то мою бабушку напоминает, кормит пока хреново не станет))), ребята очень рекомендую место, вайфай есть, душ, туалет. домик без изысков, очень похоже на дом в деревне, типа что то агроусадьбы, завтрак по времени как скажешь, хороший, с собой дают бутики и фрукты, переночевать и пойти дальше отлично место

Bellissimo luogo accogliente e rilassante.

Hadn't planned on staying here (on Camino, Sept 2018), but ended up doing so and it was brilliant; the host, the dogs, the food, the garden, dorm & bed. Perfection.

The house of the owner who has been revealed the house. she got a really good heart and a smiling face. She was overwhelming from arriving until we leave. (She has an evil tale with big angel wings ) such a good place to stay and we had such good food for dinner. Obligada❤️ plus the dogs are really cute and nice one!!

This is one of my most memorable places on the Camino Portuguese in October 2019. It was an honour to meet Paula - a wonderful host and chef! The food was delicious. The chocolate mousse was a highlight! The facilities are very comfortable. I am planning to volunteer this year in March!

My brother and I did the Camino Portuguese this summer, Paula´s Place is really good for rest, and spend quality time with all the other pilgrims. Enjoy meeting you Paula! Saludos desde México. The chocolate mousse is delicious!!

Nem todos os anjos tem asas. A pessoa nao precisa falar Portugues para se comunicar com a Sra. Paula, pois ela fala a linguagem do amor. Eu cheguei na Quinda da Burra com dores e faminto, e a dona Paula com muito carinho fez uma merenda para mim. Ela e uma pessoa incrivel, um super heroi, que diante de tantas dificuldades na vida pessoal, ela te recebe com os bracos abertos, sempre fazendo o melhor dela. Poucas vezes na vida alguem encontra uma pessoa como Dona Paula. Faca perguntas para ela, escute a historia dela. Ela tem dois assistentes, a Maria e o Tico. A janta foi excellente, uma sopa nutritiva, e um empadao muito bom. A Dona Paula me fez me senti como familia propria, a unica parte que nao gostei foi ir embora, mas irei retornar um dia! Lugar muito simples, mas acolhedor.

Excelente local para pernoitar ou passar mais de um dia, em pleno Caminho Central Portugues. Uma quinta com historia e a proprietaria faz o possivel e o impossivel para agradar os peregrinos. A ceia e o desdejum sao excelentes tambem. Um lugar para voltar.

Stopped here last year whilst doing the Camino Portuguese. I think this place was the highlight of our Pilgrimage The Quinta is being carefully restored by Paula and her family. It was a honour to meet such a lovely, warm- hearted soul and stay in her bit of paradise.

A very nice welcoming Alberge. We were greeted with rosemary hint water and homemade bread. Rooms are onsuite, though you have to share with one other and prices are reasonable and include dinner with wine. 20€ all in.

Quinta de Burra is a beautifully renovated farm property run by an amazing woman Paola!! You are welcomed with open arms with such friendship kindness and "mothering"!!! Yes to re-iterate. There are no mosquitos! Quinta de Burra was the best place I stayed on the whole of the Camino Portuges. It is really worth making sure it is priority and a destination to recharge your batteries. Paula was the best host. The accommodation not only spotless, but beautiful. Paula's cooking was pretty fab too. Lucy

(First of all, there were NO MOSQUITOES! Just when you come in the room, there is a device which gets rid of them when you turn it on! Everything is very clean! My and my friend came to Paulas place exhausted and were greeted with kindness, compassion and generousity during the whole stay. I don't think our trip would have been so special if we had not stayed here, it was healing and inspiring, the tree, the atmosphere it was absolutely magical. Paula, thank you for all that you give, we keep you in our hearts forever and hope to return again one day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Don't go anywhere else!! Paula's place was the best experience I've had in a long time! She greets you with open arms, heart and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Her place is an Oasis. Her place is clean and she makes everyone dinner that is fantastic!!! I honestly didn't want to leave her place!!!

Es un lugar excelente para peregrinos para descansar con un trato muy acogedor. Uno de los mejores alojamientos que me he encontrado en el camino de Santiago.

Great, admirable host but during summer I visited, there’re so many mosquitoes and flies in and out that need to be improved for food sanitation served to guests. There’re places to enjoy sun and peace for pilgrims. Wifi condition is not good. Window net needs to be fixed, which is worn and broken.

I strongly recommand to stay here if you are hard to walk 30km to Santarem. Owner of Quinta Da Burra, Paola, she is warm-hearted and respectful person who I've ever met during camino. With enough facilities, delicious dinner, and her kindness to visitors made me fully satisfied. Good memory with.

The best Pilgrim albergue in the Camino. It's just amazing. Paula, the owner, is an angel. Her kindness is limitless, the food is delicious, and the place is clean and tidy.
