Das NH ist sehr zentral gelegen, alles ist u Fuss erreichbar. Die vorderen Zimmer mit View sind eher laut von der Strasse. Sonst sehr freundliches Personal und sauberes, angenehmes Zimmer.

Très bon week end passé dans ce NH vraiment très agréable.
La chambre est grande avec un lit geant.
Le petit déjeuner est parfait, du choix avec de bon produit.
Le bar est également très bien pour prendre un cocktail sur place.
L'espace Spa est également bien, petite piscine mais suffisant pour se détendre.
Massage possible sur place, ils sont très très biens.

Por el mes de octubre decidi venir a Oporto con mi esposa y al buscar hotel de seguida me aparecio el NH COLLECTION PORTO BATALHA, deje de buscar, ya que NH me ofrecia total garantia, ya conocia el de Florencia.
Decir que ha superado todas mis espectativas, sencillamente sensacional, primero por la atencion del personal: recepción, cafeteria etc y segundo el hotel, instalaciones, desayuno espectacular, centrico etc.
Lastima que no estuvimos muchas horas en el hotel, ya que saliamos para visitar la ciudad y volviamos tarde.

Un accueil très agréable , marqué par une fleur offerte .la situation de lhôtel permettant daccéder très facilement à tous les moyens de transport . Très bien insonorisé et dun très bon confort . Le personnel est au petit soin .nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cet hôtel 4 étoiles ✨.

Très agréable séjour. De l'accueil jusqu'au départ. Ensemble du personnel très agréable et sympathique. Je recommande cet hôtel. Attention à se garer dans les parkings indiqués, car la fourrière passe régulièrement ! Mais ça l'hôtel n'y peut rien.

손님이 호텔을 들어오든 나가든 자기들끼리 수다떨기 바쁜직원들. 단 한번도인사를 나눈적이 없음.
욕실 샤워부스 배수 관리가 제대로 안되어있음
포르토 지리를 몰라 센트로라는 이유로 예약했음도루강 인근호텔을 추천함

샤워부스 문이 제대로 닫히지 않아 물이 밖으로 튀는 건 용서할 수 있었다. 그런데 샤워부스 배수구가 막혀 물이 빠지지 않았다. 결국 샤워한 물이 욕실을 넘어 침실까지 흘러 넘쳤다. 욕실 앞에 벗어둔 옷이 다 젖었다. 세상에 말이 안되는 상황이다. 침실 옷장 문이 너무 뻑뻑해 잘 열리지 않는데 문손잡이는 코딱지 같은 단추만 하다. 옷장 문을 열다가 손가락 다칠 뻔 했다. 방도 단추처럼 매우 작다. 4성 호텔, NH 호텔을 예약했는데 이비스 호텔에 숙박한 느낌이다.

No, it looks more like a palace that used to be the home of a wealthy family of winemakers.
And before it was finally onverted into a hotel the building housed the city's General Post Office.
Today this unique historic building literally welcomes its guests with elegant accomodations, a fine-dining restaurant and a number of wellness options such as a fitness center, sauna and a state-of-the-art indoor pool.
During our stay we enjoyed an impressive view from our spacy guest room on the 4th floor from where we looked out on cosmopolitan Batalha Square with its numerous cafes and restaurants and on famous S. João National Theatre right accross the street.

This exclusive property has everything high-end guests might possibly expect: free WiFi in all areas, air condition, prim and proper private bathrooms with bathtub or shower, bidet, flat-screen satellite TV, a stylish restaurant and more. Nightlife and more traditional local dining places are just a short walk away from this outstanding NH Collection hotel.
After a relaxing sleep a more than bountiful buffet breakfast helped us start our days and in the evenings we enjoyed some drink while socializing at the lobby bar.
As a tour operator we consequently received a positive feedback from our U.S. patrons that stayed here after we and our travel agents recommended NH Porto Collection to them.
And believe it or not: None of them ever got lost so far after we equipped all self-driving guests with directions of our own composition from Porto Airport (like 12 mi. away) or from the freeway.
Both the entire management and every staff seemed to be very dedicated to their mission, they all deserve their guests’ loyalty for their daily performance.

Lo bueno de este hotel es que está muy bien situado y el desayuno está bien. Cafetera Nespresso en la habitación.
Lo malo ponía que tenía spa pero al preguntar me dijeron que solo tenían servicio de masajes, piscina y gimnasio.
La habitación era interior y daba a una especie de patio.
La limpieza deja bastante que desear para un hotel de 4 estrellas, había pelos en la ducha y en el bidé.
Esperaba más para un hotel de más de 100€

This hotel is big and clean and has great service. It is centrally located in a beautiful plaza with another hotel, theater, cafes, and shops. It is within walking distance to a lot of sites including the river and the cathedral. The rooms are very modern but comfortable. There is breakfast every morning an the options are countless! There is also a restaurant in the lobby if you want to stay in, bu there are a lot of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. They but out free drinks and candies in the lobby daily as well. The front desk staff was super nice and helpful! If I am ever in Porto again, this is where I will stay!!!

The staff was gracious, informative, and willing to help in any way possible. The room was clean, well appointed, and the bed was excellent. I will definitely recommend this to others. Also, the location was close to things, but not in the hype of the tourist district, and that was very nice.

A localização é um dos pontos fortes do Hotel !! Os quartos são super limpos , acolhedores é confortáveis !! Passamos a noite de réveillon no hotel, porém os valores cobrados para o jantar não correspondeu ao proporcionado !! Bem caro !!
Julgo que um dos pontos para melhoria foi a internet, ficamos sem internet praticamente 2 dias que fizeram muita falta e no final estavam cobrando !! Resolvido e não cobraram !!
Em síntese geral, recomendo com as melhoria dos problemas citados acima !!

É a segunda vez que fico no hotel. Cada dia melhor. Equipe muito bem treinada, drinks espetaculares feitos pelo barman Pedro. Pensa no que é se sentir em casa, a equipe do café da manhã é perfeita, super atenta e caprichosa. Os mimos do hotel são deliciosos desde de o espumante gelado na chegada a arrumação do quarto. Ein Mittelklasse Hotel in guter Lage, das ich in diesem Jahr zweimal besucht habe. Das Personal ist bemüht, stets freundlich, aber distanziert. Die Zimmer sind behaglich eingerichtet, haben ein schönes Badezimmer und auch das Housekeeping hält alles top in Schuss. Allerdings bin ich mit der Kommunikation nicht zufrieden. Monate vor der geplanten Anreise erbat ich per Mail gegen Aufpreis einen Early-Check-In. Leider wurde meine Anfrage nur oberflächlich beantwortet und am Ankunftstag mußte ich dann doch noch 4 Stunden warten, bis ein Zimmer frei ist. Das Personal ist bemüht, mehr aber auch nicht. Dies zeigt sich auch in den Restaurants, besonders beim Frühstück.

La ubicación fantástica, el edificio precioso al lado de la vía principal de Oporto y del café Majestic. La habitación un poco pequeña es el único inconveniente. Todo muy limpio. El personal muy atento tuvimos un problema con el aire de la habitación y lo solucionaron rápido.

Hotel muy bien situado. Habitaciones magníficas. Muy buena atención por parte del personal, grandes profesionales y muy amables. Tiene un spa muy agradable aunque algo pequeño. No tiene párking pero hay un convenio con uno cercano y el personal del hotel se encarga de llevar el coche. Es la tercera vez que nos alojamos aquí y repetiremos.

The room was a bit small for the price I would say. Not impressed with the breakfast, I have been to other NH hotels with much bigger variety. My room was really noisy in the night, take your earplugs with you. Very friendly staff and good location for sightseeing.

If you are in Oporto, you HAVE to stay here. The rooms are top-notch and always clean and very comfy. The staff is just the best you could ever find at a hotel, so accommodating. Sara from Guest relations, Evandro checked us in and it was just a perfect welcome. Pedro and Fabiana from the bar are two great people, very nice talk while you enjoy your drink. Thanks all for a great short stay! You are the best!

Accessible, but a steep walk back from the waterfront. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Reception friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and modern with good facilities. My only criticism is that they lack character. Service was always efficient and friendly.

High standards are to be found in this hotel. Rooms are not specially big but they don't feel cramped. It's well isolated from the street noise although inner walls are a bit thin. The buffet breakfast is really good with a significant variety of sweet, salty, healthy choices.

Das NH Collection in Porto ist in der Stadtmitte sehr gut gelegen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und das Frühstück ist hervorragend. Einzig der SPA Bereich ist ein wenig enttäuschend. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Pool und eine 2-Personen-Sauna. Sonst ist es absolut empfehlenswert.

Hotel acogedor con un equipo fantástico. Muy bien ubicado para recorrer Oporto a pie, ya que está el la misma plaza De Batalha, así que todo pilla a mano. Las habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Al baño le faltaba algún arreglo (en la ducha), pero también muy amplio y cómodo. El desayuno, como en todos los Nh, espectacular!!! Tienen tronas para niños

Un personnel aux petits soins; une chambre très bien insonorisée, très propre, avec tout le confort attendu ( bonne literie, peignoir, sèche cheveux, produit de douche, lait corporel, crème pour les mains...); un petit déjeuner en buffet avec des produits très classiques mais aussi des produits locaux, de quoi sauter le repas du midi. Cet hôtel est très bien situé : à deux pas de la gare Sao Bento, tramway, métro, bus, situé dans le centre ville. La piscine est petite mais suffisante. La petite cabine de hammam était HS pendant mon séjour. Je n'ai pas testé la cabine de sauna ni les soins.

Muy buen trato y bien situado. Nosotros aprovechamos una oferta y nos salió por 330€ 2 noches con desayuno para 2 pax. Difícil de aparcar pero ellos te ayudan. Nos perdimos la 1ª vez para llegar en coche, pues hay que hacer un giro por vías de tranvía para llegar a la puerta con coche.

Très bel hôtel. Personnel sympa et disponible. Un très joli spa si vous devez faire un massage je vous recommande Ana elle est adorable et très douée un vrai moment de détente. La piscine du spa est très bien. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très diversifié et excellent. Et les chambres ultra confortables et bien insonorisees. On avais l'impression d'être seuls dans l'hôtel tellement c'était calme ! De plus il est très bien situé.

Hotel increible, habitaciones modernas y limpias. Situacion inmejorable, casi en el centro de la ciudad. Viajabamos con un bebe y el trato excelente, detalles para mi hijo en el desayuno, en la habitacion, el personal de sala un trato muy cercano y agradable, ha destacar el trato de Sara con nuestro bebe, parece un hotel de 5 estrellas. Repetiriamos sin duda alguna.

Overall a very nice stay. As I have seen in other reviews, the room was smaller than I expected based on pictures and information received from the Hotels.com booking site. Breakfast was good. Walking distance to many sites - although with the steep hills, some may want to choose a different location in Porto.

Hotel sensacional. O único ponto negativo é a falta de preparo de alguns membros da recepção, pois, fizemos uma reserva de um quarto premium, e, fomos colocadas em um quarto inferior. Excellent service from staff clearly enjoying and hapoy in their work. Nothing too much trouble. Keen to assist at breakfast...no waiting for coffee made to order which they then brought to your table. Tables cleared promptly and regular additional items brought round for you to try...a great idea. Overall excellent value for money for such a high standard of hotel.

Hotel estupendo, con gran atención, pero con despistes serios, solicitamos una habitación exterior y nos colocaron en un piso primero con unas máquinas pegadas a la ventana. Dónde era imposible abrir la ventana. En el interior la habitación estupenda con un Muy buen desayuno. Una apreciación me olvidé en la habitación 117 un cargado de apple y ni siquiera se han puesto en contacto para comunicármelo. Los llamaré a ver si sigue allí y no se dieron cuenta. Por lo demás muy buena ubicación. O sea muy bien pero con matices. Por eso se queda en bien.

I had some trouble during my first night that was mentioned in a review, what i like about the hotel management is their prompt response to my issues and how fast they attended and corrected all observation. Plus i had a good experience with one staff member who helped a lot. Its a bit difficult to fin the hotel entrance by car. But the hitel located in the centre of everything

After the below feedback I was contacted by Ms. Sara Oliveira, who thankfully approached me and asked about the concerns I had, immediately all concerns (except the location :)) were sorted out. I also posted a picture of the nice gesture received. Having seen all such attention and professionalism, and to be honest and transparent i decided to amend my feedback and updated the star rating. Thank you Sara.
The location of the hotel is good, but it's a nightmare to find the entrance. The amenities are limited, there is only one bottle of water in the room while we are two people and when I asked for extra they wanted to charge me 5 euros per bottle. The staf in the reception were very cold and sort of aggressive at the beginning, the porter who helped me made up my first impression great his name was Recardo the one and only member of staff during my first impression that was supporting and helping and smiling and helped beyond his tasks . The AC in the room is noisy

Ich hatte einen recht angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Altstadt von Porto, unweit von Shoppingmöglichkeiten und dem Bahnhof Sao Bento.
Das Hotel hat fünf Etagen, sowie ein Untergeschoss, in dem dich der Spa und einige Konferenzräume befinden.
Check-In verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert plaziert. Das Zimmer ist zeitgemäß und recht modern eingerichtet, es gibt alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man in einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwartet.
Der 24h-Gym ist sehr klein, aber dadurch, dass dieser recht selten genutzt wird, in Ordnung.
Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Es ist alles sehr nett angerichtet, an verschiedenen Stationen.
Insgesamt eine gute Wahl, kann dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Nice hotel recently refurbished so everything feels new. Location is extremely central and walking distance to some of the best parts if Porto. Reception staff could be more helpful, check in was a little rushed with no info about hotel facilities. Pool and spa area is ok but a little small. Jacuzzi wasn't working and sauna didn't work the second day which is disappointing.

We had a great stay! Beautiful building but even more lovely we’re the staff. Accommodating and friendly. Room is perfect size, clean and quiet. The curtains were also great blackout. No view to speak of if in a rear focused room which was fine with us. Location is fantastic. Near the shopping district, short walk down the hill to some great restaurants and also to the Luis Bridge top level for a great view.

A 30 euro trip from the airport and centrally located. Quick efficient check in, room very nice but could not describe as opulent. Very good friendly bartender Bruno who mixed a great mojito and was a mine of information about the town.Small problem about room not made up but immediately dealt with by duty manager who offered complimentary drink while we waited in lo.unge.

The Hotel is very comfortable, offers all ameneties you can think of and has a very good sevice. Rooms are cleaned daily. The location is very advantageous due to the stop of the popular tram 22 right in front of it as well because of some neat cafes which are around. A bank with cash-machine is also very close. But: One thing that I didnt like at all was the noise coming from the contruction site next door, beginning weekdays 8.30 am.

Lamentável a forma abusiva a que ficam sujeitas as trabalhadoras do departamento de housekeeping devido a uma pseudo sub governanta que mais não é que uma simples supervisora mas que tem o aval da governanta geral para submeter as funcionárias às humilhações e ao abuso de poder que ela entende.
Portugal viveu num período de ditadura até 1974, ganhando - depois disso - todas as formas de liberdade, sendo a liberdade de expressão a mais valiosa. O poder de argumentação é essencial para termos a nossa voz escutada pelos outros, pois todas as opiniões contam. Como foi um período negro na nossa história, a ditadura, não queremos ter um retrocesso nas nossas vidas mas infelizmente isso acontece no nosso dia a dia , neste caso, no nosso local de trabalho. Aquando duma argumentação forte feita por uma ou outra funcionária, a soberania dessas pseudo-salazaristas em forma de governantas de pensamentos e ideias limitadas, entram em ação... prejudicando pessoas que, mesmo doentes, sempre foram profissionais no seu local de trabalho. Estiveram lá sempre que alguém não quis estar presente, com desculpas esfarrapadas ou mesmo sem qualquer desculpa, sobrecarregando com trabalho acrescido as que sempre se apresentaram ao serviço. Talvez a culpa seja mesmo uma mea culpa, ou seja, o poder que está acima "destes ratos" ou peixe miúdo, as mais altas patentes do hotel NH Collection Batalha. Fecham os olhos ao que está "por baixo", ao que consideram "insignificante" mas que são uma peça fundamental no funcionamento deste hotel. O importante mesmo é receber os altos ordenados ao final do mês e estar numa cadeirinha, todo o dia, sentados a ver as horas passar e com tanto responsabilidade a passar ao lado. Triste utilizar este método para que alguém me "ouça", mas mais triste ainda é ninguém nos ouvir e equipas sucessivas serem desmembradas aos poucos por alguém que não sabe como gerir o poder que tem. Um ditador dita as leis... um líder, orienta!

Para Quem visita o Hotel é realmente muito agradável. Já o mesmo não se pode dizer para quem lá trabalha. Em alguns departamentos, nomeadamente no housekeeping as pessoas que vão lá fazer o seu melhor desempenho, quando não fazem parte dos quadros do hotel, são facilmente descartáveis sem o mínimo de respeito e consideração por parte da gerência. É uma vergonha que em pleno século XXI ainda exista tanta falta de respeito por quem faz o seu melhor trabalho. É mesmo muita falta de carácter.

Awesome location, as always NH doesn’t disappoint, great rooms, lovely beds for a nice sleep and good rest after touring around during the day.
The only reason for taking away a star, on both checkin and checkout the staff seemed very rushed. On the contrary we also stayed at the Jardim NH in Porto and the staff were super friendly and chatty.

This hotel is clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable. Outside the hotel is a beautiful square in the heart of Porto. Just a reminder GPS usually fails in the old narrow streets of Europe. Check out Google earth for a good understanding of the area.

The receptionists at this hotel are a shame the customers ask the taxis to go to the airport, they call the friends taxis to give them the commission and with that they get there with the taxi already 7 and 8 euros and the trip is for 30/35 euros.

Escogimos este hotel porque decía y publicitaba que tenía spa y pisicina cubierta. Tarde descubrimos que muchos otros viajetos denunciaban que nunca va a parte de que el baño turco y la sauna son de uno. La piscina oscura es más bien un charco y avisamos que bajabamos (está en el menos 1) y no nos advirtieron que no iba...nos metemos en el agua (fría) ningún chorro va. Si no vendieran que es spa etc no hubiera sido tanto desengaño pero no hubieramos pagado calidad precio
A favor, el desyuno buenísimo. Pero decepción total porque por más de 200 euros la noche, no vale la pena para nada. Por 80 sí (pero si coges esas tarifas he leido que las vistas de la habitación son a un patio de luces...). Nuestra habitación eso sí estaba muy bien ubicada y con un balconcito mini pero bien.

The hotel is convenient for all local bus tour trips, there is a stop close to the hotel. The hotel is a short walk from the beautiful train station and historical town (be warned it is uphill coming back!) and from the funicular railway from the amazing harbour.

We’d love to stay here but we didn’t as we were in Porto for just one night on a very quick visit! We came to NH for help to print out colored document so we can able to travel back to US! It was Sunday night and all public places were closed and the only color printers were in the major hotels! Help we got was immediate, absolute and unconditional! Very conveniently located hotel near all the main attractions of Porto. The rooms are huge, very modern, extremely comfortable, and furnished with a coffee machine, tea, and a mini bar and safe. The washroom was luxurious and a real pleasure. Do opt for the breakfast plan, because their breakfasts are OUT OF THIS WORLD. So, so good... Everything was perfect but for the fact that the staff took a very long time to understand why the phone in my room wasn't working--I was the one who ended up diagnosing the issue (they just needed to change a cable). That was annoying. But they were very apologetic and the rest of the stay was a dream. There's a small pool and exercise room downstairs and a spa as well. Lovely hotel.

Cozy and very creative boutique hotel with a post office theme due to perhaps its past as a building of such. Charming lobby with an old portal integrated into the check-in areas. Clean and nicely decorated rooms with nice ammenities and minibar selection. Bathroom is equally nice with everything you could need. The rooms are a little small though but once you figure out how to position the luggage in the foyer, it's a breeze getting around. I had a corner suite so there were 2 rooftop windows.
I got to use the fitness center but unfortunately not the pool. The gym is very very small with 2 treadmills, 2 tvs, and a bench that was broken then. The bareness was in stark contrast to the rest of the hotel so it there was something they could do, it would be there.
Otherwise a great experience. The breakfast buffet is not to be missed. The variety and quality... And quantity is great. Friendly, very welcoming and hospitable staff left me with a very pleasant first and lasting impression of Porto.

Sehr schönes gepflegtes Hotel. Ideal gelegen für Ausflüge und Erkundungen. Direkt vor dem Haus hält die NostalgieStraßenbahn. Eine Fahrt damit ist fast Pflicht.
Die Zimmer sind gross, geräumig und haben sehr schönen Blick auf die Stadt. Das Frühstück und Restaurant sind sehr gut. Auch ist das gesamte Hotel sehr Kinderfreundlich. Fazit: empfehlenswert und wir kommen gern wieder!

Excelent relació qualitat-preu per l'habitació. L'esmorzar és car (18'90 euros) en comparació amb els preus de "pastelerias" de la ciutat. Situació perfecta, prop de la rua santa Catarina, del funicular que va al cais da Ribeira, de l'estació de sao Bento i de la praça da Libertade. Habitació àmplia, llit còmode, cambra de bany amb tots els complements, sabatilles molt còmodes. Personal molt amable.

Fantastic smaller hotel centrally located in a former wine merchant palace. Well appointed rooms and excellent views out over the square. I you've booked a family room ask for room 402: huge wrap-around balcony with beautiful sunsets. Tomb silent after 11 - though count on seagulls waking you by 5 if youre a light sleeper.
Welcoming and helpful staff and free port on arrival. Very good hotel.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten, war der sehr freundliche Empfang, die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und der sanitären Anlagen im allgemeinen Teil des Hotels. Ebenso gab uns die Sicherheit (Badgesystem im Lift und im Treppenaufgang) ein gutes Gefühl, dass keine ungebetenen Gäste sich im Zimmerbereich aufhalten konnten. Das Frühstück liess auch keine Wünsche offen! Ich werde wieder NH berücksichtigen.

A diferencia de los de España (al menos el de Santiago y Barcelona), este es una maravilla. Servicio de 10+. Las habitaciones no suelen ser muy grandes, pero era bastante bonita y moderna. El desayuno muy completo y la ubicación inmejorable.

Die Überschrift sagt es bereits. Selten ein freundlicheres und hilfbereiteres Hotelpersonal erlebt wie im Porto Batalha. Einige 5 Sterne Hotels sollten sich ein Beispiel an diesem nehmen. Zudem ist das Hotel und die Zimmer top ausgestattet + die Lage ist für einen Portobesuch perfekt. Danke für alles!

Reservé este hotel para pasar un fin de semana por las recomendaciones en TripAdvisor y porque , para su calidad (4 estrellas y el aval de la gama Collection de NH) me resultaba similar en precios a otros hoteles de la ciudad en esas fechas (unos 80 euros por noche sin desayuno). La verdad que he estado en muchos hoteles de 4 estrellas, especialmente en España pero también en otros países, y debo decir que, en este caso, deberían tener 4 estrellas y media, especialmente, por la atención recibida del personal del hotel. A la llegada al mismo, sobre la hora de comer, al hacer el Chek-in nos regalaron dos vales para disfrutar de una copa de vino de Oporto en el bar del hotel durante la estancia (además de una flor para mi pareja, todo un detalle). A continuación, el personal del hotel se ofreció a aparcarnos el coche en un Parking concertado, justo en el edificio de al lado (y por 10 euros la noche, una ganga). Tras esto, subimos a la habitación (con vistas a la plaza, en la última planta), que, si bien puede resultar algo pequeña, deja espacio suficiente para las maletas dentro del gran armario, y cuenta con un baño muy espacioso, con un grifo por persona y hueco suficiente para los enseres de aseo personal. Además ,como detalle adicional, el hotel nos obsequió con una botella de agua y una bandeja de infusiones y cafés Nespresso para consumir de manera gratuita durante la estancia. Otra sorpresa fue encontrarnos al día siguiente por la tarde, sobre el escritorio, dos pequeños bizcochos de chocolate como regalo del hotel. A parte de todo esto, ponen a tu disposición todo tipo de amenities (productos para la ducha, albornoz, zapatillas de estar por casa, calzador, y el resto de habituales en hoteles de cierto nivel). Además cuenta con un colchón bastante nuevo y una gran televisión donde puedes sintonizar algunos canales en castellano, lengua que todo el personal del hotel habla a la perfección y en la que nos explicaron perfectamente el mapa de la ciudad y los puntos más interesantes. A la hora del chek-out, todo fue muy rápido, solo abonar el parking y nuevamente se ofrecieron a traernos el coche a la puerta del hotel. En resumen, 5/5.

Nice staff. Good breakfast. Small-ish rooms but with sizable bathroom. The location is great in the city center. The only thing lacking is the spa/swimming pool/gym. It's crammed underground and therefore everything is ridiculously small. You can't swim in the pool (push off one side and you have arrived on the other side), the saunas have you sitting facing right at the door, no possibility to lie down, or even be in there with more than one person. The gym is also super small. They have a fridge there for water during work outs like all nh hotels, but it wasn't stocked.

Rooms are spacious for Europe. The restaurant isn't that great. I'd search further afield for food. You have to park in a lot elsewhere. Good luck finding the access road in front of the hotel with GPS. Also, the front desk will not answer their phones. I had them hang up on me three times when trying to find the place.

Precioso hotel situado en la plaza Batalha. En el centro de Porto, enfrente al teatro S. João, cerca de todos los lugares interesantes de la ciudad. Muy bien decorado, instalaciones impecables, habitaciones amplias y muy limpias. El personal muy amable y servicial. Merece la pena pagar un poco más y sentirse feliz durante la estancia en esta preciosa ciudad. Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda.

Das NH Hotel liegt sehr günstig in Porto. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten man man zu Fuß in kürzeste Zeit erreichen. Die Zusteigemöglichkeiten zum Nahverkehr sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Vor allem gut für Flugreisende. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein, aber es bot alles was man braucht.

Das Frühstück ist toll und die Zimmer sehr ruhig. Leider ist das Personal an der Reception und an der Bar nicht sehr verlässlich. Anfragen und Wünsche werden entweder gar nicht oder erst nach diversen Nachfragen erfüllt - und auch dann mehr schlecht als recht. So konnte und das Hotel kein vernünftiges Lokal zum Essen empfehlen, geschweige denn reservieren. Das erwartet man jedoch von dieser Hotelklasse. Auch andere Wünsche betreffend Bezahlung, Barbestellung etc wurden eher widerwillig erfüllt.

This really is a tale of two experiences.
The hotel itself was great, and the breakfast was excellent, with attentive staff.
I marked the hotel down from five stars, as we had some unfortunate experiences with the reception staff. We had asked for their help in calling some port houses to arrange tours. They weren't able to get through whilst we waited, so they committed to calling us back later in the day. We never heard back from them.
We also tried to arrange tours through them, and again didn't hear back from them again and had to pester them three times to get a tour arranged.
The hotel was quite busy (which may offer some excuse), and whilst all staff were very pleasant to deal with, I feel the lack of communication from them could have led to some disappointment had we missed tours.

La ubicación es excelente. Recientemente reformado por lo que sus instalaciones están bien conservadas y son modernas. Buen diseño y decoración. Trato muy eficaz y amable por parte de los trabajadores.
En contra. Desayuno de calidad solo aceptable para el precio y algunas habitaciones dan a una zona de maquinaria ruidosa: no se entiende que un edificio nuevo no las insonorice o que bien coloque mejores ventanas.

Decidimos ir a este hotel por ser un NH o sea una apuesta segura además de estar ubicado en un lugar de inmejorable localización, aunque por la noche o ciertas horas del día parece ser El Barrio antiguo de Oporto y todo lo que eso comporta( borrachos,trapicheos etc ) pero nada que destaque, solo una simple puntualizacion, vamos que no es inseguro ni nada por el estilo, personal del hotel muy amable y dispuesto a echarte una mano en cualquier momento, nosotros tuvimos un pequeño problema de salud y estuvieron preocupándose e intentarnos ayudar cada vez que nos veían por el lobby, habitaciones modernas y bonitas con tamaño adecuado para pasar una estancia cómoda, calidad relación-precio de 10, lo único que cambiaríamos sería el mensaje del ascensor ( es muuuuuy pesado ) por lo demás volveríamos sin dudarlo

Ich kenne einige HN Hotels, auch die Collection Klasse und bin sehr zufrieden. Was das Porto Batalha Hotel betrifft war ich mehr wie zufrieden. Wir hatten vor Antritt der Reise noch einige Sonderwünsche gemeldet, die alle zu unserer besten Zufriedenheit erfüllt wurden. Das Personal an der Reception war uns bei der Beratung und Buchung der Ausflüge sehr behilflich. Auch tolle Insidertipps für Restaurantes erhielten wir dort. Das Zimmer ist nicht sehr groß aber geräumig und vorallem sehr sauber. Das Frühstück bietet eine sehr große Auswahl an Früchten, Käse, div Brotsorten. Ausgezeichnet.-
