Historic hotel, superbly located in the centre of the city but looking in need of a bit of TLC. As such, rooms and facilities not as ideal as you would expect in a more modern property but this is more than offset by the location and charm of the hotel.No parking is understandable due to location but inconvenient.

Das Hotel hat seine Besten Zeiten wohl hinter sich. Man ist in einer anderen Zeit.Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber sehr sauber.Es liegt sehr Zentral und erreicht alles gut zu Fuß.

AANão vale o que custa. Hotel velho e sem estrutura para grande movimento de hóspedes: elevador pouco espaçoso(4 pessoas mas só se forem bem magrinhas) quartos antiquados (tipo anos 50) casas de banho a precisar de reparação. Não têm camas extra para crianças e, embora sugiram que podem dormir com os pais, as camas são pequenas para 3.
Pequeno almoço sofrível, sem grande escolha:não há ovos nem hipótese de os pedir, não têm fiambre de aves, não há produtos sem gluten e pouca higiene na limpeza das mesas.
Não vale o que custa. Senti-me enganada.
De positivo? A localização, mas isso não justifica o preço.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral, allerdings auch laut. Für eine Städtetour aber perfekt. Der Garten beim Frühstück ist herausragend schön.

Mais le concurrents de Agoda ( booking etc...) ne proposaient que des chambres lits simples.Surprise ,en arrivant s l'hôtel de Paris Porto, nous avons eu une chambre lit simple !!! L'hôtel a vérifié :.Agora nous avait affecté une chambre lits simples et non double comme prévu....Tromperie

L’accueil du personnel est très affable.La situation en bordure du vieux centre est bonne.L’hotel n’a Pas été restauré depuis au moins 50 La chambre est petite, la moquette ancienne etNotre salle de bain était très vieillotte avec une odeur nauseayen entrant.Les parquets des couloirs ont été rafistolés avec du linoléum etc? Etc

Les point forts : le jardin ou l'on peut petit-déjeuner, l'emplacement au centre ville, les belles parties communes et les chambres spacieuses.
A sérieusement revoir , la vétusté des chambres : parquet flottant fortement usés avec des jours de plusieurs centimetre entre les lames. Un clou qui dépasse du sol, des jours dans l'entourage de la porte, une Tv qui n'est pas satellite.... pas au niveau d'un hôtel à 180€ la chambre. Dommage.

Rooms rather tired and ordinary at best. Interesting and quirky building with nice helpful staff. First room allocation had smell of drains so we were moved on request. Had to chase up room service late in afternoon. It was okay.

jai bien aimé sa situation très centrale, sa décoration, sa salle de petit déjeuner donnant sur le jardin, le jus dorange frais à faire avec les oranges du jardin, les pasteis de nata et le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet possible de 6h du matin à 10h. Jai bien aimé la grandeur de la chambre et le fait quelle ne donne pas sur la rue. Par contre je nai pas aimé être réveillée la nuit par des clients faisant du bruit en parlant fort en regagnant leurs chambres dans le couloir et lescalier, et de même le matin par divers bruits des clients en partance, du claquement des portes et des voix très fortes. Cest dommage que je nai pas eu une chambre au dernier étage qui doit être beaucoup plus calme. En ce qui concerne la salle de bain, dans la douche il y avait un peu de moisissure, il faudrait rénover les joints et tout le tour.

Gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Sauber. Freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal.
Frühstück reichhaltig. Ambiente in Lobby und Treppenhaus wie im Museum. Sehr liebenswert.
Straße nachts etwas laut, aber völlig normal für Zentrumslage.

They claim it is the oldest hotel in Porto. 142 years it has been a hotel and you can tell.
The rooms need some maintenance etc but I personally like it.
Staff are friendly, Rooms are clean, Showers good, Beds comfy, balcony rooms and it has character.
Nevermind the fact it is a superb location you are next to everything. Not sure light sleepers will appreciate the noise from outside but that comes with the "centre of the city territory"
Also the breakfast is not the best. But I just eat elsewhere.

The location of this hotel was the only great thing about it. It was close to great restaurants and attractions but it was really old which was disappointing because on the website it shows newly renovated rooms. The rooms smelled of mold and mildew and were impossible to air out to get the humidity out, even the bed sheets felt damp. In my room one of the blackout shutters was jammed open so we slept in a very lit room and the hotel staff didn't even try to help us find a new room or solve the problem, then in my in-laws room there was a big water bubble in the wallpaper from what must have been a water leak from the room upstairs as well as stains and water damage on the ceiling which looked really disgusting, and none of the drawers of their furniture opened. As a family, we were really disappointed with this hotel and couldn't wait to get out of there.

In die Jahre gekommen.Beleuchtung im Zimmer mangelhaft.Zu wenig Steckdosen,Frühstück sehr einseitig, die ganze Woche nur Kochschinken und Scheibenkäse, Erdbeermarmelade und Honig und Nutella.Ambiente und Einrichtung Angenehm wie im Museum.

Jedan od najstarijih hotela u Portu. Mozete pitati divne ljude na recepciji da vidite enterijer onakav kakav je i bio 1877 kada je hotel i otvoren.
Nije oznacen kao turisticka atrakcija.

It's a real antique! Lovely old hotel. everything in this hotel was quite old, but.... it's still lovely. Highly recommend this place! wish this hotel could keep its style as much as it could.. Maybe you would hear some noise from outside at night.. however it's okay, it's what antique is for!

Abbiamo soggiornato a fine ottobre in questo hotel che si trova in ottima posizione . A due passi vi è la Piazza della Liberdade (Municipio) e l'Hard Rock Cafè. Appena arrivati trgistrazione e pagamento anticipato; subito dopo abbiamo constatato che l'ascensore era fuori servizio. La responsabile dell'hotel ci ha accordato il cambio stanza: dal secondo piano a piano terra. Da evitare però le stanze a piano terra e sulla strada, di notte fino al mattino soprattutto nel fine settimana, c'è sempre gente che schiamazza, urla e canta (nella via parallela ci sono birrerie insomma la movida). L'hotel è ben riscaldato, buon servizio wi-fi, è in vecchio stile: sono presenti una hall, una biblioteca e una sala PC, c'è anche un piccolo salotto con tavolo e poltrone, che però di sera era sempre occupato da personale dell'hotel. L'albergo pur avendo un suo fascino per essere stato il primo a Porto necessita assolutamente di una ristrutturazione ( bagni, impianto illuminazione, condizionamento assente).
Buona colazione compresa nel prezzo, non molto internazionale ma adeguata e sufficiente. Sala da colazione accogliente. Adiacente c'è un giardino con tavoli dove se non piove e non fa freddo è possibile fare la colazione. Camera con parquet, pulizia non eccezionale.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, das Douro-Ufer ist fußläufig in nur zehn Minuten erreichbar. Die Lage hat jedoch ein Problem: es ist das Viertel, in dem nachts der Bär steppt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. OG auf Straßenseite und konnten nur mit Ohropax schlafen. Das Hotel nimmt für sich in Anspruch, das älteste Hotel der Stadt zu sein. Dadurch ist das Interieur zwar recht antik, aber das Haus ist insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat für mich überhaupt nicht gestimmt.

Nous avons été au grand l’hôtel de Paris à Porto le 2 août.
Personnel non aimable qui ne fait aucun effort. La chambre n’était pas prête quand on a eu les clés. On a eu du mal à le faire accepter c'est tout juste si on n'était pas taxé de "casse pieds". On a dû attendre dans un salon surchauffé. Les fenêtres ne fermaient pas et on a demandé une réparation....tardive. La douche de la baignoire est en mauvais état. Les interrupteurs sont endommagés et recouverts de scotch brun. La literie n’est pas excellente. L'accès à l'accueil n'est pas facile avec des valises. L'ascenseur n'est pas pratique avec des valises....trop de marches. Pas d'aide !!! Cet hôtel pourrait être un hôtel de charme s'il était mieux entretenu .Ce n'est pas vrai qu'on parle notre langue comme indiqué. C'est un hôtel qui est vétuste avec du personnel pas aimable du tout.
La situation géographique est bonne. La clim fonctionnait bien. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux. La chambre double était grande ainsi que la salle de bain, mais rien n’est entretenu.

Albergo con particolare arredamento da anni 80 con piccoli oggetti anche più datati. Quasi da film horror, con scale, specchi e tappeti lunghi rossi.
Il personale è gentilissimo. Le camere carine, ma vi consiglio di non prendere quelle fronte strada perché non hanno l aria condizionata e la mattina i netturbini fanno molto rumore. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono.

Great location. Friendly staff at the front desk. Unfortunately there was only one charging outlet, making it difficult to charge more than one device at a time. The tray to boil water was big and bulky and was not close to the outlet to plug for boiling hot water.

Para dos adultos y una niña de ocho años, nos dieron una habitación pequeña de dos camas de noventa, no se molestaron en ubicarnos en otro sitio , además de no comunicarnos con antelación de lo que había, y por si fuera poco nos decían que podíamos dormir bien, la chica de recepción quiso molestarse algo en buscarnos otro sitio pero su encargada les pasó el problema a ellas.
Voy mucho a oporto pero nunca iré a este hotel.

This place is a dump. Thought it would be so quaint but not kept up. We arrived 2 hours early to check in and they require more money even though we did not see one other person staying there the whole 2 days we were there. First room had no room darkening shades, the shower was broken,no stopper for the tub, and the security chain fell off the wall Needless to say we were not happy that we couldn’t wash ourselves in the morning. We asked for compensation and were told absolutely not. Switched us to another room which did have shades and much nicer bathroom but luggage rack was broken and parquet floor was coming up. Dining room had bugs flying around and elevator broke down as we were trying to leave. Thought this had high ratings from hotel.com but think they should drop this place.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour son histoire et son charme « authentique », nous n’avons pas été déçu du mobilier des parties communes et le jus des escaliers. Concernant la chambre elle est lamentable. Des carreaux sont cassés, le parquet se détache, les joints de la salle de bain sont moisies, quant au lumière sur le mur, elles tombent... au sujet du petit déjeuner, il y a un vrai manque, les mets ne sont pas renouvelés, le strict minimum nous a été présenté.

Ein schönes altes Hotel, das noch den echten Flair eines alten Hotels besitzt. Große Zimmer, ein richtiges Bad mit richtiger Wanne, mir gefällt sowas sehr. Das ist authentisch, nicht retro. Hoffentlich wird es nicht bald totrenoviert, und in ein Econtel mit Schuhschachtel-Zimmer und Plastik-Nasszelle verwandelt

Hotel storico di Porto, adatto a persone che adorano finiture e particolari d 'epoca.
Le camere sono funzionali con bagno privato, riscaldamento e letti comodissimi. Ubicato al centro delle principali vie di Porto. Personale gentilissimo con il quale è sempre possibile capirsi.
Ottima colazione in apposita sala. Ascensore d epoca funzionante.
Se lo scegliete solo per il prezzo, ricordatevi che non state scegliendo un 5 stelle, e
l' atmosfera interna è quella di un palazzo storico.

Beautiful hotel located right by the main square. Hotel full of character. Very good breakfast ham,cheese,pastries,cereals and plenty of juice coffee etc. Excellent friendly staff. A real gem of a hotel in an amazing city

The building was traditional with some beautiful features. It is rather tired and could do with some TLC. Our room was very small, with very little room around the bed. Unfortunately it was very very noisy out on the street. Apart from these points our stay was fine.

Ein altehrwürdiges Haus mit vielen Details aus vergangenen Zeiten. Hübsch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr gute, zentrale Lage (nachts von der Strasse her etwas laut, wenn die Partygänger vorbeiziehen). Schönes Morgenbuffet, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

This is an interesting old hotel, with many period features and very well located, but badly in need of renovation and an upgrade. As it is at present, it is not great value and it all feels a bit neglected. It would be nice to see it restored to the way it must have been not so long ago.

Great location in center of Porto, walking distance to most sites of interest. Historic property with character - nice garden to the rear. Request a room at the back of the hotel as street facing rooms are very noisy - rooms are reasonably small.

I loved the old world charm of the property. We had a small balconywith a wonderful view of the city. The ladies at the desk alwaysgreeted us with a smile and offered to research the details ofa free concert that was happening one evening. It is a shorttaxi ride to the riverfront. There are restaurants and shops nearby.This is our second stay at this property.

Es de los peores sitios como hotel que he visto.
Ascensor roto, aacc no funcionaba,
Decrépito y obsoleto. Se paga por adelantado.
Una experiencia horrible y nos tuvimos que cambiar de hotel al día siguiente íbamos 7 amigos y todos coincidimos.

Accueil glacial, limite désagréable. Chambre vieillotte et dalle de bain à revoir (cuvette des wx cassée, tablette tombante et porte rideau rafistoler par un simple fil accroché au plafond), l'aménagement de la chambre est spartiate, la lumière de qualité médiocre. Durant notre séjour la chambre n'a jamais été faite, ni la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner est limite avec un ci'stznt besoin de réclamer le reassortiment. Le personnel préfère discuter ensemble. Pas de bonjour, pas de svp rien. Désolant. Seul l'emplacement est excellent.

Très belle décoration et parfaitement situé dans le centre de Porto. Petit déjeuner très satisfaisant même si les boissons chaudes ne le sont pas toujours beaucoup.Hygiène satisfaisante mais la baignoire nest pas nettoyée tous les jours lorsquon séjourne plusieurs jours. Il y avait aussi une tâche de sang sur un drap. Mais surtout, la fenêtre de la chambre était minuscule et située dans un coin de sorte que la pièce bénéficiait dune lumière du jour très réduite

Hotel ancien le style est assez impressionnant, le style, la déco d'époque recherchée, salle de petit déjeuner donnant sur jardin privé très agréable mais ça s'arrête là :chambre fatiguée, peinture écaillée 'plafond de salle de bain moisi, portes de penderie bloquées, et télévision en panne, je ne parle pas du parquet qui lâche ..........donc ne justifie pas du tout le prix plutôt élevé ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No me gusto, hay que pagar todo al llegar, aparte de la tarifa que cotiza en Booking, cuando llegas alli y haces el registro te cobran un impuesto al turismo y un seguro ( situacion que en los otros hoteles no nos paso) osea se incremento casi 40 euros. Es muy costoso y por ese precio tampoco esta incluido el desayuno. Hicimos una llamada local dentro de Oporto y tuvo un costo de 7 euros mas...!!! Al preguntar porque el empleado dijo que eran las politicas del hotel. Yo no lo recomiendo para nada.

Unsere Zimmer waren Strassenseite, 3. Stock. Der Auto-Verkehr hat nicht gestört, doch die grölenden Gäste aus anderen Gaststätten, die regelmässig zwischen 02 und 04 durch die Strassenschlucht zogen, haben die Lärm der Möven, die nie zur Ruhe kommen, ergänzt.In den Nachbarhäusern werden diese Möven von der Wohnbevölkerung gefüttert, so dass die Möven und Tauben immer und überall sind und auch die entsprechende Verschmutzung in der Stadt zurücklassen.Das hat aber nix mit dem Hotel zu tun, das von seiner Lage her äusserst empfehlenswert ist. Besonders schön ist der Garten, der sogar etwas Ruhe bietet.Im Zimmer wird eine Teekochmöglichkeit angeboten. Leider fehlt eine passende Steckdose, so dass man an der Putzsteckdose am Boden hinter der Türe kochen muss. Ist auch der einzige Ort fürs Ladegerät des Mobile. Die Dienstleistungen der Reception waren sehr gut und mal französisch, mal englisch, mal (lieber nicht) spanisch......

Die erste Nacht war leider laut da Wochenende und ab 3 Uhr nachts die Leute in der Gasse vor unserem Zimmer temperamentvoll vorbei gelaufen sind. Wir haben uns dann an die Rezeption gewandt dann ein super Zimmer nach hinten mit Blick auf die ganze Stadt bekommen. Ab da war die Woche traumhaft.

Die Einrichtung und Atmosphäre des Hotels sind sehr Charmant und besonders. Für ein 3-Sterne-Haus ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer OK, wenn die Zimmer auch recht klein sind. Das Frühstück ist allerdings - vielleicht auch landestypisch - nicht allzu umfangreich; wer mehrere Tage da ist erlebt die identische Auswahl jeden Tag. Die Lage ist allerdings sehr gut für alle, die das Nachtleben im Bolso genießen wollen. Für die, die eine besonders ruhige Nacht brauchen, ist das speziell am Wochenende vielleicht etwas laut.

Aardig en voordelig hotel in het centrum van Porto. Van binnen lijkt het op een oud kasteel of villa. Wel kleine kamers en sommige met hele kleine douches. Aardig personeel. Geen eigen restaurant, wel heerlijk ontbijtbuffet. Kamers aan de straatzijde horen wel het bruisende uitgaansleven 's nachts. Dus niet te vroeg naar bed maar lekker zelf op stap. Leuke kroegen genoeg, op een steenworp afstand.

Hemos estado el puente de Diciembre en este hotel y hemos estado de maravilla. Es un hotel céntrico (al lado de la Avenida de los Aliados), cerca de la zona de bares. El Hotel tiene un encanto especial, decoración muy bonita y unas salas de estar muy agradables.La habitación está bien, normalita y está limpia.cuando vuelva a Oporto volveré a este hotel

Lokalizacja świetna. Z zewnątrz niepozorny a gdy wejdzie się do środka super, dla tych którzy lubią miejsca z charakterem. Co z tego że nie wszystko na mega wysoki połysk ale było czystko a klimat pokoi i korytarzy i tych wszystkich rzeczy super. Przyjemny i pomocny personel. Śniadanie było pyszne i tyle do wyboru że można byłoby tam siedzieć dłuuugo :) Gdyby mogła jeszcze raz odwiedzić Porto to zatrzymałabym tylko tam!

2e séjour au Grande hôtel de Paris. Jadore cet hôtel. Dabord le personnel est adorable, ils vous accueillent, vous renseignent avec le sourire et un maximum defficacité. Le cadre est original, mes pts enfants ont découvert plein de vieux objets. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propres. Joli pt jardin pour prendre le pt déjeuner. La situation par rapport aux endroits à visiter est aussi un atout.

NASTY!! Stay anywhere else! This place is disgusting. Multiple long hairs on the pillow when we first checked in. Second room the pillow had what appears to be a drool stain and the sheet also had a stain. Obviously no standards of cleanliness and they must have the original sheets since opening. Ownership must not care as the front desk had a careless attitude about the situation as well. You can definitely find much better close by in the area for 90-$100 a night. Rooms are tiny as well which can be expected from an older hotel... but peeling paint, cracks in the walls and closets that don't open is just poor maintenance. Checking in here ruined our first day in Porto. Spare yourself. Would give no stars if possible!

LAMENTABLE!! El olr del baño era nauseabundo, humedad en las paredes, viejo, descascarado. Nadie te ayuda con el equipaje pese a estar en una calle estracha que no puedes estacionar, y para rematarla me enviaron a un estacionamiento que me cobró (la Gerenta me dijo 20/22) 32 euros por día. NO VAYA

Really liked the hotel, the oldest in Porto, and this is reflected in some aspects, i.e. very small rooms, tiny shower cubicle with doors that needed attention, etc..Wonderful location, full of restaurants and bars and in walking distance of river, railway station and other attractions.Saturday night is VERY noisy so ask for a quiet room unless youre out there with the crowds----until 4am Sunday morning!!Staff were brilliant, couldnt have been more helpful.

Hotel bastante correcto, en el centro de Oporto.
Quizás sea un poco difícil de acceder, ya que hubo que dar varias vueltas para poder encontrar la entrada a la calle donde está. Otro aspecto negativo, es que no tiene sitio para dejar el coche mientras haces el check in, a no ser que dejes el coche subido a la acera.
Una vez en el hotel, el personal muy amable, y las habitaciones bastante correctas. No demasiado grandes, pero si lo que buscas es no pasarte el día metido en la habitación, mas que suficientes.
El hotel en sí es muy bonito y merece la pena darse un paseo por su interior.
El desayuno correcto.
Como nota particular, destacar que justo enfrente hay una pizzería, donde se puede cenar de manera espectacular, por un precio que a mi parecer es muy competitivo.

Be careful not to confuse this as we did with the Grande Hotel do Porto and walked to the wrong place. I so enjoyed the hotel once we found it but it was quirky and not for everyone. It is no longer as grand as it was but still retains a great deal of charm with a lovely garden out back. It is very close to everything, ask for a room at the back away from street noise.

This was the neatest old hotel, great location close to the Sao Bento train station and other sights. The staff was very helpful, breakfast buffet was complete and tasty, garden outside was a little gem (wish we had gotten to it sooner than the day we left.) Bed was comfortable and shower worked well (important to both of us!) Lots of interesting old furniture and "stuff" throughout the hotel. If you get tired of steel and glass, this is a terrific and charming alternative.

Mildew infested - itchy eyes and sore throat next morning. We smelled the issue at checkin and cahnged roioms imidiatelly. All first level floors had the same issue. The receptionist could not see the issue and urged us to honor the heritage of this "oldest hotel in Porto". Never again. If we weren't so misserably searching for a room that night we would have never stayed there. And sure won't do again.

Hôtel de charme, très bien situé. Chambres un peu bruyantes, donnant sur une rue avec peu de circulation mais dans un quartier animé. Personnel agréable. Chambres nécessitant un rafraîchissement . Méritant une plus grande propreté (rideau notamment sales et tables de nuit avec poussière). Litterie confortable. Beau buffet du matin hormis le café qui est mauvais. Dommage pour ce pays où le café est si bon.

Es muy viejo, el ascensor da mucho miedo, la habitación es muy incómoda, el armario lleno de humedad, no metí nada dentro, el desayuno es malo. Imposible para personas con minusvalía o mayores sin mucha movilidad hay escaleras por todas partes.

Come già scritto su un altro sito abbiamo trovato ingiuste le critiche mosse su pulizia bagni (il nostro, camera 204 era perfetto) e buffet della prima colazione (abbondante, curato, prodotti freschi e vari).
Abbiamo soggiornato in alberghi in varie nazioni e questo è stato uno dei migliori visitati; purtroppo bisogna fare i conti con i rumori provenienti dalla strada (inevitabili in zone turistiche e non imputabili all'albergo). Ho dimenticato di aggiungere (nell'altra recensione) che il giorno del mio compleanno ho trovato in camera dolcetti (trovati poi l'ultimo giorno di permanenza) ed un biglietto di auguri...non era mai capitato, prima...

Wir hatten Glück, das Wtter zeigte sich von seiner schönsten Seite, blauer Himmel und in der Sonne über 20°, einfach nur herrlich. Porto ist eine bezaubernde Stadt, ebenso die wunderschönen Atlantikstrände und das grüne Hinterland. Anfangs Februar war Frühsommer!!!Das Hotel ist schon ein Erlebnis, sicher sehr alt aber sauber,mit sehr freundlichem Personal und eine Reise ins vorherige Jahrhundert wert. Wir hatten Zimmer 109. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig geschnitten und mit einer schön grossen Dusche ausgestattet. Zudem liegt das Hotel absolut zentral, zu Fuss ist alles erreichbar.Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel wählen, man muss aber den mit dem Charme eines alten Hotels aus vergangenen Zeiten einverstanden sein.

A great place to stay only five minutes from Aliados Metro station and in the heart of the city. Easy to reach from the Airport. Excellent Art Deco styling which works well in Porto with a really historic feel.More options at breakfast than we could try in three days (everything we tried was delicious) and some brilliant restaurants from Pizza to Portuguese within 50 meters.Not sure if we were just lucky but their were no children there!Friendly staff, amazing value and a comfy room.Well be back!

Au niveau de la réception, accueil globalement satisfaisant, sauf un monsieur particulièrement désagréable et qui n'ai pas à sa place à la réception d'un hôtel. Car, n'oublions pas que nous sommes des clients et susceptibles de revenir dans votre beau pays.

stayed here for two nights in october 2011. after reading mixed reviews about this hotel i was unsure but can safely say that my stay was very good. hotel staff were always helpful & friendly. rooms were a good size was decent fittings.

a charming hotel (one of the oldest in porto. a little like stepping back in time as the hotel has clearly not changed much in the past 50 years. a pleasant change from many of the characterless modern hotels we stayed in in europe. during our stay a 'moliere' company of amateur actors appeared and performed an impromptu performance of 'the imaginary invalid' in the hotel foyer, quite delightful. breakfast was included in the hotel deal and was of a very high standard. only downside was the size of the bedroom which was rather cramped.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Grande Paris thoroughly, and would definitely stay there again. It was a great value The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was pleasant - but very poorly lit. I requested a table lamp and even then the room was dark at night (during the day I had two large french doors letting in lots of light). I would request a room away from the street to reduce street noise, this is a fairly active area.
