Not usually one to give a scathing review but tonight was just awful in the experience my wife and I received. Considering it was my birthday (which was mentioned) the food we received was below par. The squid still had the hard membrane inside and we were told that this is the way they cook the squid in Portugal as otherwise the head of the squid will fall off. We were also told that there isn't much they will do about it because "that's the way it is". Then came the "hidden cod". Whilst the flavour lacked any seasoning, I also had to contend with a number of fish bones that were also "hidden" inside the thinly sliced cod. This issue was resolved with it being taken off the bill. Tap water was charged at €3 a bottle because it has been through their water "filter" and we were told it is illegal to give out tap water in Portugal unless it was filtered. Some of the other reviews on here state that you come away feeling swindled and that was definitely the case this evening. There were some aspects that were good and still worth a good review, such as the waiting staff, the beef carpaccio and the mushroom risotto. Just a shame that the manager was very argumentative and unhelpful.

特别的一个装修，厨房和酒吧占据了整个餐厅60%的中央空间，对于食客来讲是一个巨大的视觉冲击。食物本身也远不亚于装修给我带来的冲击力，菜品属于葡萄牙菜和世界风格流行菜。对于每一道菜，精准把握，小墨鱼仔，蒜香，微辣香茅虾，都很不错，蘑菇奶酪焗饭，三文鱼塔我都可以给满分。在我吃过的众多餐厅中绝对是上层水准。很幸运的事儿是在11月份的淡季来到这里，也能和老板攀谈了几句，老板可以说葡萄牙语，西班牙语，法语，意大利语，英语。在伦敦，巴黎，纽约都曾经工作过，为人谦虚和善。这一餐我必须给一个满分。忘记了，对于一个在巴黎吃过众多的美食甜点的我居然被这里的苹果派和芒果布丁征服了。真的太好吃了。苹果派尤其推荐，吃了你就信我了。

We went for an early dinner with our 4 month old and they couldn’t have been friendlier. They gave us great recommendations on food and wine, with none of the choices disappointing. The food is small plates to share and we had the tuna on squid ink bread, tenderloin beef, chicken and the mushroom risotto (must try - awesome!). All the food was really delicious and although we were full we were thankfully pursuaded to try the fantastic apple pie!! Already booked to go back!

Very nice place with great service, the girl that was serving our table was very smiley and attentive. Regarding the food itself, really good quality but the size of the dishes was slightly smaller than we spected.

A modern eatery in a classic town.. good food and atmosphere. Fantastic service with friendly staff. Highly recommend if you're in Vilamoura. Better to reserve a table in advance.

A beautiful little gem of a restaurant where the kitchen is in full view.
The food was amazing! Especially the burgers. Best I've ever tasted.
Service was as would be expected from a top quality restaurant.
Lots of locals which as usual shows much deserved repeat custom.
I know it shouldn't be relevant but I put a lot of credence in the bathroom areas. A must visit just for those .
A weeks holiday saw us visit twice, and was easily ths best restaurant we found in/around the marina.

Fabulous experience. The barman really knows his stuff and made us brilliant cocktails and the food was delicious. We ordered second plates of two dishes because they were so good. Highly recommended.

Excellente cuisine, les plats sont de petites portions à partager ( ou pas ), c'est délicieux. Le service est super. Vous voyez les chefs en action comme dans les restaurants japonais. Le prix est par conséquent au dessus de la moyenne mais ça vaut le coup !

Well, guys, this is a wonderful place. The chef worked at Fat Duck in London and another top restaurant in Barcelona. The waiter is engaged to a woman from Scotland and he is Portuguese. The sommelier is Brazilian/French/Portuguese. The food is FANTASTIC, served as little tapas to be shared at the table so everyone can try it. Everything was so fresh. We had Pacheco wine, EXCELLENT. The wait staff was attentive and much attention to detail. I have been coming to the Algarve for 30 years and going to Vilamoura. I had no idea I would find such a wonderful casual restaurant. Ask for the patio seating by the huge pine tree.

I normally for multiple plates to share and it's really difficult to choose, given all the great options. The food and service are great.
Even when the menu changes and some of their best dishes are removed, the new ones are going to be good as well.

Bel locale moderno vicino al porto. Servizio impeccabile, piatti fantasiosi e squisiti. Abbiamo approfittato della promozione The Fork (-30%) e pagato in tre 80 eu (circa 27 eu a testa) condividendo 6 piatti, due dolci, 2 bicchieri di vino rosso, una bottiglia d'acqua e una birra.

Bom conceito, apesar de achar que as televisões para ver a cozinha eram desnecessárias. Gostei da decoração, principalmente do aquário e do balcão em cobre. O conceito da partilha está excelente, com pratos bem confeccionados. O que gostei menos até foi do pica pau. O rissoto foi o melhor para mim.

Leuke plek met leuk eigen concept. Dit is een van de weinige trendy en hippe restaurants in villa moura. Het is een soort shared dining maar wel met hele lekkere gerechten. De sangria was wat aan de zoete kant. De sfeer was goed en bediening erg attent. Aankleding is wat strakker dan andere restaurants, wat internationaler dan de meeste zaken in de omgeving.

Had a wonderful meal, excellent service, nice seating in the courtyard. All very tasty dishes.We were given personal advice by The staff about places to visit during our stay. Also received a lesson about ports with tasting as well. highly recommended

Food was incredible and our waiter was really good. He stopped us before we ordered too much and then recommended the apple pie which was delicious. The lady who was front of house should take some lessons from the waiting staff as their people skills were much better than her's.

Nice restaurant with good staff. Good range of reasonably priced wine. The menu is good and the food is tasty enough, however the sharing plates are small and the cost soon mounts up. We ordered the amount of food recommended by the waiter but we were still hungry at the end of the meal. The dessert choice is limited, however the Apple pie is excellent.

Great place to have diner, a very nice choice of meals you won't find on any other menu's. Service is perfect and the price/quality ratio is really competitive. I would totally recommend.

Hands down the best restaurant we have eaten in in villamoura and we have been here for just over 10days. Tuna and salmon mains were perfect and the apple pie desert was out of this world. The male waiter that served us was fantastic and recommended a great bottle of rose wine. For 4 sharing mains 2 desert and 2 bottles of wine the bill was still under 100 euro which was great.

Sitio de tapas mezcla español (huevos rotos con jamón, puntillitas) con ceviche, tataki, algo portugués (bacalao) y japones. De diseño en el interior con cocina vista, bien ambiente, personal encantador. Una muy agradable sorpresa entre tanto restaurante sin más vocación que el turista de paso que no repite. Volveremos.

Nice place for cocktails !
I visited it this year and last year and I have to say the the quality of the food itself appeared to have decreased, while the prices remain the same or increased - for that reason I've decreased it from 4 to 3 stars.
Nevertheless the apple pie desert is very good and work perfectly along some cocktails!

If was a terrible experience because of a single employee.
From the beginning I want to say that the food was good (not outstanding, but fair), the waiter was outstanding, the wine he recommended was very good. Prices are relatively low, 40-50 euros per person, for a dinner. But our evening was ruined by the employee who should have been most responsible for the good customer experience: the restaurant's PR, (Joana I think was her name).
Me and my family arrived at the table at 20:45 and at 21:55 she told us that in 5 minutes we should leave the table because there is another reservation at 22:00. I have never experienced such a rudeness in my life. We still had almost half a bottle of wine (which was very good). If she had told me from the beginning that we had to finish our lunch in an hour, I would have go to another restaurant. But she didn't say that.
Such people should not work in the hospitality industry!
It seems unfair that all the good work that a team of professional people does, was turn into a bad customer experience because of a single employee. But the truth is that her rudeness will remain in my memory for a long time, and the good wine, the black angus or the professionalism of the waiter, unfortunately, I will forget them much sooner.

We only tried the cocktails but it was a pleasure. The bartender came to the table giving a pisco tasting experience and explained all the processes. Recommended!

Love love loved this beautiful place! The best in Algarve! The fish is so fresh you can taste the sea in your mouth. A definite go to if you are in Portugal. Their unique touch and modern approach is refreshing not only for Portugal but at international standards. The live kitchen is beautiful. Don't miss the bread and butter (it's not your typical bread and butter), the fried calamari, and the squid burger! The staff are lovely and so friendly.

Trendy venue with exposed concrete walls, lots of glass, bicycle wall art and large fish tanks. Menu is quite small and designed to be shared between two, even the items not under the sharing section. Food is excellent if a little pricy. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a great meal with excellent service from the wait staff. The food was salted a bit more than I would've liked but it made for great pairing with the excellent bottle of wine that the waiter recommended.

Nice interiors, decent array of food choice but nice wine tasting prior order and delicious food. Warmly recommend the porco preto and the octopus. Average price p.p. for main course, allerizer and wine is 25/30€.

Amazing! Migas à Bulhao Pato It's a must! Fresh, tastefully, great ambiance. An impressive open kitchen (odorless if I must say ) and a beautiful cocktail bar make for a killer combination. pricy, yes, but so worth it!

Wow. As a regular google reviewer I've been to hundreds of restaurants over the past few years. Always trying something different is something I enjoy and commenting upon.
Salmora had good reviews so I gave it a try. The menu is based on tapas style sharing platters but on a bigger scale.
The waiter gave a very clear explanation and helped us choose and not over order. He was knowledgeable about every dish and was attentive throughout.
The dishes were full of flavour and well balanced. Unfortunately the vegetables side dish was a little under cooked for our liking. I could have asked for it be redone I'm sure , but was too stuffed to have ate it anyway.
We look forward to returning soon.

A trendy upmarket new restaurant in Vilamoura situated just behind Figos on the Marina. This place is a must visit when in Vilamoura. the menu and restaurant design is a totally new concept and is fast becoming one of the best restaurants to visit. The service is second to none with staff who actually know what they are talking about when it comes to food and wine. If you are looking for a new experience look no further, this is the place to come!!
