I knew what the box room would be like from the pictures, but I was quite stunned at how small it felt when I first went in. But that surprise changed to how simple and nice it all was. I felt like you dont really need a big room to enjoy your stay, and everything felt clean and nicely arranged. There is no wardrobe, there is no extras but the room felt comfortable and the local area was great to explore.

Concept original, inspiré de Mama shaker et autres hotels pour aprentis hypsters. Idéal pour trentenaires qui n'ont plus l'âge d'aller en auberge de jeunesse et aucune envie d'aller dans un hôtel traditionnel.
Ici règne une ambiance de co-living branchée, qui donne la place aux rencontres, et vous rappelle, à chaque recoin, que vous êtes super coool.
Pour les plus jeunes ce sera un peu cher, tandis que les plus agés accepteront difficilement les compromis imposés par cette coolitude: Ici pas de chambres mais des mini-box, en mode "capsules en bois". Sans fenêtres, sans télevision. Clostrophobes s'abstenir.
Belles terrasses, beaux espaces communs, déco soigneusement pensée, et originale. C'est à priori un bon lui de branche. On a envie de rêver à une adresse un peu libertine, oú tout peut arriver...;)

Muito bem localizado, staff sempre muito simpática e agradável. Quarto limpo, arrumado e silêncioso. A ideia dos boxes é sensacional. Recomendo

Really cool variation on the capsule hotel. Individual rooms are actual connected wooden boxes with no windows or televisions in an old refurbished building. Strong WiFi, comfortable bed and a waterfall shower. No refrigerator or other amenities but breakfast is served from 7am to 7pm on the top floor and the ground floor restaurant is fantastic. I ate there twice. The staff is very friendly and the location is central. The price is also extremely low for such an excellent hotel.

Bien situé au coeur de Porto, cet établissement propose des chambres atypiques. Tout en bois (style caisson) et dans un bâtiment industriel, le confort et les équipements sont bons. Pour passer une ou deux nuits c'est très correct. Pour un plus long séjour, l'absence de fenêtres et de lumière extérieure deviendrait gênante. L'insonorisation avec les autres chambres n'est pas top.
Petit déjeuner copieux et bon. Le personnel est très agréable et la bière personnalisée offerte à l'arrivée est un plus.
En résumé, pour un court séjour au coeur de Porto dans une chambre atypique, c'est sympa. 67€ petit déjeuner compris.

La novedad. Todo es diferente a lo que puedes encontrar habitualmente en un hotel, desde la habitación, el desayuno y las instalaciones. Existe una opción ventajosa para reservar aparcamiento y solo la conoces si contactas previamente con el hotel.

Funny and nice concept hotel in downtown Porto. Pretty much everything is more or less different from ordinary hotels. A good place for a decent nap, a nice breakfast, a decent hangout on the rooftop or at the lounge. The service is good and friendly. Everything is tidy and neat. There is a strong tendency to avoid plastic arbage in the breakfast room and in the bathrrooms. I should think that it would rather attract young people - but everyone who doesn't stick firmly to the standard should give it a try.

Small hotel basically made as a sleep-only place. Filled with "boxes" with bed and toillet. Great place to sleep after long flight, especially from different time zone since there are no windows in here.
On the side note: delicious breakfast!
and the beer added to the key.

It was an interesting experience. Most of the time it was quite, however I could hear my neighbours some of the time and I didn't appreciate it. The staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast was a bit expensive for Porto but very tasty.

Very interesting concept of a low budget hotel. Sleeping in a little wooden room without windows, it's a new and special experience. But you have all you need. A comfortable double bed, a nice bathroom with a huge shower and a very well working airconditioning (don't forget to reduce intensity of its fan in the night :) We slept well and had a good stay in Porto. Downstairs is a very nice bar with friendly service. So for a night or two the Zero Box is reslly ok. Thank you

High level hipster place. Loving the atmosphere, illumination, arts and good service. High class style ambients and perfect location within the city. You are receiving a complimentary Super Bock beer. The rooms have no window, but a proper AC and small skylights to the floor. The noise isolation towards your neighbor rooms is almost not existent. You can even hear the neighbors snoring. There was water flowing slowly on the ground from the toilet towards the sink of the shower. For breakfast you have a choice of 3-4 delicious, fresh and well balanced styles. Sadly all of the egg based breakfast on the menu where currently not available. For a few nights this is a very recommendable hotel and a bar worth visiting.

It is quite an experience here. Its nicely bright, to compensate for the lack of windows. There are enough power plugs for yalls electronic gizmos. Tip: it feels warm when you first walk in, but dont fret about the a/c (as theyre turned off in the winter), once you relax, it actually is a very comfortable temperature, open the vent out too, that helps. No windows means you dont know what the weather is like until you walk outside (or check the app from your phone).

Concepto novedoso y minimalista, 50€ la habitación pero sin ventanas, sin tv, sin teléfono...
Para estancias cortas es perfecto además de resultar una experiencia simpática. Tiene un restaurante con un ambientazo y zonas de sofá y chimenea. Situación excelente. Sin duda, muy recomendable, además al llegar te dan dos cervezas frías!

Un nuevo concepto de hotel en pleno centro de Oporto. El staff es muy amable y ayuda en todo lo que puede. El local esta muy bien decorado y las habitaciones estan muy limpias y tienen lo justo y necesario para un hotel de ciudad. El desayuno es un imprescindible.

Service is very good, staff is very help-full and its a well thought out concept. Definitely don’t miss out on breakfast (7am till 7pm) on the sun deck, restaurant also a must as well as the bar. The only downside for me was only having heater and no ar conditioning on the rooms.

A surprising and new concept of hotel, different from those conventional ones. The personnel of the hotel was very nice, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious! I recommend this hotel for those who want to experience a different stay.

Definitly an out of the box experience ! It looks like an hybrid between youth hostel and capsule hotel you'd find in asia. Lots of common rooms, very small sleeping space. Actually, the bathroom feels bigger. Amazing shower and bathroom, very clean. We were there as a mid-thirties couple and it was fine. Not soundproof tought, we could hear our neighboor snoring during the night and lots of impact noise. No commodity like phone or glass to drink but if you're out i't fine ! So, if you plan to be out most of the time, don't mind a bit of noise and lights and small spaces ( not being able to see daylight in the morning can be a bit awkward!!) this hotel is a great bang for the buck and still feels preminum thanks to the bathroom and overall cleanliness !

En global: genial, distinto y divertido. Que te reciban con una cerveza fría invitación de la casa ya es un punto. Es un lugar lleno de detalles, con gusto, ecléctico en el estilo.
Las habitaciones no son amplias, pero son suficiente. El concepto de caja sin ventanas no agobia en absoluto, al contrario, se descansa estupendamente. Además, tiene una ventana- rejilla para dar luz al interior. El baño estilo industrial, con lo básico, pero suficiente. En la habitación no hay armario, pero si zonas para perchas. Además, en el pasillo se puede guardar la maleta en armarios con llave.
Las zonas comunes divertidas y extravagantes. Me encantaron. El personal del bar - preparan unos cócteles de muerte - amable y encantador. No probamos el restaurante, pero vimos unos chuletones estupendos. Creo que merecía la pena.
Los desayunos -en mi caso incluido- se eligen de entre 4 opciones. Sí es muy mejorable el café, sobre todo sabiendo el bien café que hay en Portugal.
Está al lado de Santa Catarina, calle de compras, y a pocos minutos a pie de las zonas clave del centro.
Lo dicho, en general, me encantó!!

La ubicación, inmejorable, limpio, cama cómoda, baño completo con productos de aseo y secador, nos ha encantado. Instalaciones TOP con restaurante (O Carniceiro) y zona de copas muy agradable. El personal muy atento y amable. Los desayunos buenísimos y por solo 6,50€... Si vuelvo a Oporto volveré sin duda

Hotel incrível, você ficará impressionado desde o momento que entra, o atendimento, a decoração, a limpeza, a localização. Recomendo 100% e voltarei com certeza. Chuveiro, cama, acústica perfeita. Quando chega você ganha uma cerveja de boas vindas. Não tem janela mas não me senti desconfortável com isso porque o ambiente é climatizado.

Lo mejor, el propio hotel, distinto pero excelente. La ubicación, inmejorable. Muy limpio, cama muy cómoda, baño completo con productos de aseo y secador, amplio y cómodo. El concepto del hotel es diferente a todos los que he estado pero nos ha encantado. Las instalaciones excelentes y rincones muy divertidos que te hacen una estancia muy agradable. El personal muy atento y amable. Los desayunos buenísimos. Si vuelvo a Oporto repetiré

we choose this hotel to experience something really different.
the bedroom is correct like 2m high.
the sauna is cool too I liked it we can rest a little
the lobby is nice decorated place and the money box is fun to make some photo
you have handmade beer
the sad part are :
the cinema was on maintenance
the rooftop too (rainy in the morning )
the waterbank was not accessible
we cannot enjoy all this place we applied for
but the staff was helpful and nice

バスルーム付きのカプセルホテルを豪華にしたかんじ。新しく清潔で綺麗。
ウェルカムドリンクにオリジナルのビールが貰えるのもうれしい。アメニティはなし。備え付けのシャンプー、ボディソープ、ハンドソープはありました。
窓がなく天気が分からないのが不便なのと、シャワーの排水溝からゴキブリみたいな虫が出てきてびっくりした。キン○ョーのワンプッシュで退治しました。

Un hotel moderno e innovador que te sorprenderá desde el momento de la recepción. Gran ambientación y decoración, cuenta con terraza y piscina, zona chill y restaurante especializado en carnes. Las habitaciones tienen todo lo necesario, forradas de madera. No hay TV. Buen Wifi. Se agradece un toque diferente en los hoteles de vez en cuando. Precio elevado en festivos y puentes.

Awesome place! The room is smalls and may take some getting used to for some travellers, but it does what it's supposed to do. It's comfortable and quiet.
Vibe at the hotel is awesome. Staff are friendly and it's right in central Porto. Hanging out in the hotel itself is a lot of fun, with two bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Place is in the middle of Downtown Porto meaning it's a short walk to any one of the many attractions in the city. Room is very nice and comfortable, staff is friendly and drinks are good. What's more to want?

Everything about the Zero Box Lodge was excellent.From the cold beer at check in and the super friendly staff we had a wonderful stay. If you are fed up of homogenous hotel rooms the Zero Box Lodge is the perfect antidote. We loved our box and the bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it away with me. The shower was excellent and the breakfast was super tasty.Cant wait to stay again, it really did tick all the boxes

We stayed here only by luck because we wanted to stay one night longer in Porto and nothing was free in our hotel. Zero Box Lodge was a real experience! It was a pity we didn't know anything about it otherwise we would have stayed the whole time here. It is clean and quiet. The room has no windows and no TV, which unfortunately leads to some other box renters to stream some YouTube channels from which you can hear the sound relatively well. Since I always sleep with "ear protection" this didn't really bother me. The reception and the support on location was awesome! Too bad we didn't have the time to test the pool area and the restaurant. Very good location in Porto!

This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life! The hotel is so trendy that i wish i lived here
The staff is great, all amenities and rooms are incredibly clean and breakfast which in my case was included, was also unique since you get to pick what you want to eat.
I hope they open all over the world so i can stay at this hotel every time i travel!

This new concept hotel where you literally live in a box fascinated me. It is a cool hotel and we loved the atmosphere as soon as we entered. Receptionists were very welcoming. They also gave us beer as a welcome drink. Rooms were very clean a D bathrooms were great and large. I will remember this hotel because it was an amazing experience.

Diferente en todos los sentidos. La ubicación es de 10 y el precio es bueno. La decoración de las zonas comunes esta muy muy chula. Hay sauna, terrazas...pero las habitaciones son cubículos de madera de unos 3 x 3 metros, lo justo para la cama y dos mesillas y nada más, sin ventanas ni nada solo una trampilla en el techo que se comunica al pasillo. El baño esta bien. La cama cómoda. Todo muy limpio.

Terrazza molto suggestiva per bere ottimi drink. Ristorante e bar molto particolari e con ottime pietanze.

THIS PLACE IS AMAAAAAZING! if youre into cool and different kinds of places and not a regular boring hotel, then this is the place for you. They have a dope ass set up. When you arrive, they give you beer as soon as you check in. They have 3 restaurants in house. They also have a cinema on the 5th floor with bean bag chairs you can use to watch anything you want. On the rooftop they have huge water buckets that you can swim in along with a nice pool area. They ALSO give you a boxing gloves and swimming goggles for you to use during your stay for either activity they have. Every bathroom in the hotel comes with a heavy bag so you can box. Its the coolest and best hotel in all of Portugal. If you have the chance, STAY HERE! you wont regret it!!!!!!!!

A super trendy place and a very interesting one aswell. The accomadation was a 3 star as it was a bit basic and slightly clostrophobic however functional and clean. Despite this, the location and the hotels additional facilities were a strong 5 stars. I would recommend staying here for a few nights but not too long. The 'free room' is a great concept!

일단 건물이나 방 자체가 가격에 비해 아주 좋습니다. 그리고 정말 안전하다는 느낌이 들어요. 다만 방에 창문이 없어서 아쉽지만 화장실과 샤워실이 방안에 있어서 정말 좋고 옥상도 낮에 쉬기에 아주 좋네요~다음에 포르투 여행을 온다면 또 묵을 계획이 있습니다.

Hotel súper céntrico u barato. Tiene dos partes, la común decoradas de manera moderna y exquisita con muchas particularidades y las habitaciones propiamente dicha qué son para dormir exclusivamente porque son unos barracones de madera, eso sí muy cómodos.Hay una sauna y en la terraza una especie de bañera muy recomendable para pasar unos días allí.

Una manera diferente de alojarse. Es sin duda uno de los hoteles más particulares en los que me he hospedado nunca. Tiene un sistema de habitaciones muy original, en cubículos de madera. Muy acojedor, y el personal muy amable. De la comida no puedo opinar mucho, tan solo probé uno de los menús del desayuno, que era muy completito y rico. Vale la pena pasar por lo menos una noche, para vivir la experiencia. Sin duda muy recomendado.

De verdad más de lo que esperábamos. La atención excelente el lugar limpio agradable las box son cómodas da un poco de temor de hacer mucha bulla pero geniales. Los restaurantes la comida muy buena la atención individualizada. Los ambientes acogedores. Me encantó recomendado.
Y muy céntrico no olviden probar las carnes de el carnicero restaurante.

맨날 호스텔에서 모르는 사람들 코고는 소리 듣다가 오니까 천국이에요.방음 엄청 잘되는것같고 들어올때 키 인식도 두번정도 해야해서 안전도도 높고 청결도도 매우 우수한편인것 같아요. 다른 서비스시설은 이용을 안해봐서 모르겠는데 일단 스텝들도 친절하고 화장실도 나만쓰니까 짱 좋음 위치도 나쁘지않아요. 화장실에 드라이기 샴푸 바디워시 있구요 방안에 에어컨도 있어요. 세탁시설이나 주방은 제가 못찾았는지 따로없는것 같은데 불편한거 못느끼겠고 만약 세탁해야하면 주변에 코인세탁소 있어요! 결론 : 위치 청결 친절 안전 다 만족스러워요

The concept is really cool. Is works almost like a hostel vibes considering that the idea is not to stay in the room, that is really small and well, doesn’t have windows. Rooftop is cozy and has a nice view. Downstairs restaurant seems to be good. Bed and shower are good and you can sleep well since it’s quiet. But again, don’t forget, no windows, small room. I hope you are not claustrophobic.

The rooms are boxes and actually quite restful. They do tell you to close the door to the bathroom. It has an almost four inch thick door. The bathroom is polished concrete and does carry noise, but with the door closed, I didnt hear any. Inside the bath, I could hear all kinds of interesting things going on. If you are very tall, its probably not for you as the ceiling appears to be about 6 feet 6 inches or so. There isnt space to sprawl our your luggage, however, there are lockers on your floor to store things should you like. The hotel has a lovely roof top deck, a bopping main floor lounge and restaurant, as well as a fifth floor eating area, bar and lounge. Its located near a subway station, on a narrow street. Porto is very hilly. I would stay here again. It was convenient to the tourist areas as well as a block away from the pedestrian Caterina shopping street.

Établissement atypique qui contient des petites box déstabilisantes de prime abord mais qui sont suffisantes une fois la première nuit passée.
Les lits et oreillers sont confortables avec de la climatisation et une très grande douche dans une petite pièce séparée (composée de 2 grandes douchettes. Une au plafond et une amovible)
Établissement composé de :
- 2 restaurants excellents dont 1 rooftop qui ne possède pas une vue exceptionnelle mais qui est bien ventilé et bien aménagé. (amuse Bouche est assez cher pour la quantité mais gustativement satisfaisant)
- 1 sauna
- 2 jacuzzis que nous n'avons pas testés
Situés à :
- 5 minutes de la gare de Porto,
- 5 minutes d'au moins 2 stations de métro,
- 10 minutes à pied du pont dom luis qui permet de rejoindre Vila de gaia
- 5 minutes de la rue commerciale de Porto pour le shopping
- 5 minutes de la rue des restaurants de porto
Cet établissement est idéal pour les petits séjours comme les grands.
Pour les photos celles jointes sur TripAdvisor sont représentatives.
Je recommande fortement.

Goed hotel.. de kamer is een apparte ervaring, maar wel leuk en positief. Ontbijt stelt niet veel voor als je 8 euro ontbijt neemt. Beter kan je iets los kopen bij het ontbijt. S avonds in het restaurant eten is echt een aanrader. Heerlijk gegeten!

Hip accomodation. Was worried about the no window/natural light situation but surprisingly it was the best sleep we had during other 1 months travel. The bed was super comfortable and the bed linen they used was silky and so comfortable like a 5star hotel! The location was also within walking distance to most sights in Porto. I took 1 star off as the staff was not as friendly and welcoming as they could have been. The rooftop tubs were not function during our stay but would have been nice to be able to soak.

Great design and nice new form of staying in hotel! Small but very tasty breakfasts. Very kind personel and nice chill zone where you can sip your drinks listening to the great music! Close to metro and main landscapes (like 15min walk)

Positif: propreté, nouveauté, emplacement central, lit.Négatif: poignée SdB dévissée, porte de douche s,ouvrant mal. Petit déjeuner sans buffet. Vue du toit. Pas de fenetre (connu davance).

Notre séjour en couple cest vraiment très bien passé !Dès le Check-in, on vous offre une petite bière fraîche, on vous explique ce quil y a à visiter, les bon restaurants, les spécialités.Les chambres sont super originales, ça change. Elles sont grandes et équipées, et très propres. La literie est confortable ! Sur le toit terrasse de lhôtel, se trouve piscine et transat.En bas, un bar à cocktails avec de lambiance le soir dans une atmosphère conviviales. Le petit déjeuné est très complet, vous avez le choix entre 4 formules le matin même.Le personnel est particulièrement aimable et gentil, et multilingues.!lhôtel est à 10-15 minutes à pied du Douro, où se trouve le pont célèbre D.Luis. sur les quai, vous pourrez vous restaurés dans de très bon restaurants et mangés les spécialités.

I like the concept of the hotel: environmentally-friendly building materials, maximizing each area to create the enjoyment for guests (like the rooftop watertank). But the drawbacks would be the cubic idea of the guest rooms may not be suitable for people who are claustrophobic. Plus there is no TV in room.
