25 minuti a piedi per praça de libertade e 10 minuti dalla metro Marques. 25 minutes for libertade Square and 10 minutes for metro Marques. Rooms are really big and comfortable and with breakfast included, around you can find shops, local bar and restaurants, some market mini preço or pingo doce. Cheap and good position, employees are very affables and it is only 20 minutes from airport.

Como se costuma dizer a Staff de um estabelecimento faz 90% da diferença e esta foi uma dessas situações, apesar de os quartos serem um pouco antiquados são bem limpos mas com uma Staff excelente que nos ajudaram em todas as situações que precisamos. Simpatia e com muita educação assim descrevo a Staff deste Hotel. Um grande obrigado pelos vossos serviços prestados.

Atenciosamente excelente, Sr. Luiz primoroso, Anabela atendimento impecável. Lugar agradável, limpo. O hotel nos quartos estilo colonial, banheiro amplo, com banheira , água boa. Hotel próximo do centro, metrô Marques, tem ligação com várias linhas, inclusive para o aeroporto.

La amabilidad del personal, es excepcional. Te explican todo, te atienden muy bien. El desayuno es estupendo. Calidad en su justa medida, sin despilfarros. Las habitaciones son cómodas y cálidas. Tiene garaje y está muy cerca del centro. Recomendable.

El Hotel Palanca es un hotel correcto para pasar unos días en Oporto sin dejarse mucho dinero. Las instalaciones, mobiliario y decoración son bastante anticuadas, pero al final es un lugar cómodo para descansar tras los paseos por la ciudad.

Acceuil et chambre agréable bien que petite,vue sur des vieux immeubles délabrés...+ gros bémol certains clients se sentent seul et font du bruit assez tard dans la nuit, discution à voix haute, son de tv assez élevé....pour 50e/nuit ceci est vraiment dommage.

Gutes, einfaches Hotel mit nettem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Es liegt nicht in der Altstadt, man kann diese aber recht einfach mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen, wenn man gut zu Fuß ist geht auch das.Das Frühstück ist simpel, aber die Basics sind alle vorhanden und ich habe es gerne in Anspruch genommen.Das Bett war bequem.Insgesamt ein wirklich sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis!

Hotel simples e acolhedor. O pessoal é super atencioso e disponível, as acomodações são boas e limpas. Pequeno almoço com o básico (suficiente). O estacionamento do próprio hotel é muito pequeno e complicado para manobras. Os lugares de estacionamento são ocupados por ordem de chegada e são poucos... a solução é procurar nas imediações do hotel (estacionamento público a pagar das 9h às 19h).

Un hotel con encanto, no es moderno pero posee todo lo que necesita. Excelente relación calidad-precio
Es muy limpio, el personal es encantador y muy profesional. El servicio de desayunos es completo. Cuando vuelva a Oporto sin duda volvería al Palanca.

rispetto alla maggior parte degli alberghi offre un ottima posizione, sia per chi ama camminare sia per chi vuole spostarsi con la metro. il centro dista una ventina di minuti a piedi.

Calidad, precio, bien. Si puedes dejar el coche en el parking, que aveces no se puede por ser pequeño, te puedes mover fácilmente por todo Porto. Esta cerca la estacion de metro de Marques y desde allí también parten distintas lineas de bus urbano.
El desayuno es básico, pero suficiente.

La habitación enana, casi imposible abrir una maleta. El colchón blando e incómodo, salimos con la espalda fatal. Desayuno no demasiada variedad pero por lo menos desayunas. Zona de aparcamiento gratuito en los alrededores. Por 60€ nos pareció una estafa. Nos dijo que llegábamos al centro en 15 minutos andando, gracias que cogimos el metro porque de 15 minutos nada. El personal amable.

Las habitaciones bien, en su justa comodidad para ser un 2 estrellas. El desayuno incluye lo mínimo y necesario, sin ningún lujo pero suficientemente válido para pasar la mañana. Buena situación, a 5 min de la parada de metro y a 25 minutos andando del centro. Lo mejor es el trato del personal. Si quieres un hotel cercano al centro y a buen precio, este sin duda es el idóneo.
Por cierto, NO se admiten MASCOTAS.

L' hotel non è molto moderno, però, è pulito e le camere sono dotate di condizionatore e televisione.
La colazione offre opzioni sia dolci che salate non abbondanti.

The front desk staff was very nice and very helpful. The hotel is clean and the rooms are large. Its close to the subway, but about a 20 minute walk from the old town touristy areas. We were fine with that, but just FYI. We had some issues finding places to eat nearby - there are some cafes and restaurants, but many were closed when we were there.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 5 giorni. Anche se hotel 2 stelle ,facciamo i complimenti al personale, sempre gentile! La camera sempre pulita e ordinata , la signora ha perfino ordinato i vestiti ! Colazione non molto ricca, adeguata ad un hotel 2 stelle ma con caffettiera anche espressa. L’ hotel è ben posizionato dal centro , la fermata della metro a 5 minuti a piedi . Per vedere tutto il centro basta fare solo 2,5 km . Siamo soddisfatti della scelta.

Un hotel bueno en relación a su calidad/precio y a su buena ubicación. El personal muy agradable, nos orientaron para conocer la ciudad y nos facilitaron un mapa para visitar los principales sitios turísticos de Oporto. El desayuno muy básico, pero acorde al precio pagado por noche. El único pero se lo pongo a que el parking era por orden de llegada y tuvimos suerte, porque se encuentra en una zona donde hay que pagar por aparcar en la calle.

Das Hotel liegt an einer gut befahrenen Straße. Ich bat um ein Zimmer an der Rückseite und bekam auch eines. Dort befand sich allerdings eine Baustelle, es war also tagsüber auch sehr laut. Das Hotel an sich ist ganz in Ordnung, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The hotel is close to the subway station Marques, around 5 mins walk or walk to the old town in 20-30 mins. The receptionists are helpful to provide directions and sightseeing suggestions.... The room is ok, except the blankets, it is the traditional yellowish-brown colour, will be better to upgrade them to the duvet type... I like their breakfast, continental type and the breads are crispy n tasty..

Palanca is about a mile north of the historic centre in a residential area. However, nearby metro station Marquês is only two stops from Trindad. Between the hotel and the metro are a few restaurants and cafes. The hotel is on a one way street which gets rush hour traffic in the evening but not so much in the morning. My room was right at the front and the windows had sound double glazing plus an aluminium shutter that wound down. There were double doors between bedroom and corridor. So in fact I was not disturbed by noise, although I might have been had I wanted to sleep with the window open. The room, bedding and bathroom were clean. My room had its own water heater in the bathroom, so there was no chance of the other guests running off all the hot water. The heating worked when needed. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. In summary, there was really nothing to complain about, everything was good or adequate and in particular it offers good value for money compared with city centre hotels. So it would be my first choice for a return visit.

Lo mejor que tiene es que está a 15 minutos del centro de Oporto y el precio. En contraparte, si no reservas tu plaza de parking (gratuito) y te quedas sin ella, luego es un infierno buscar sitio por los alrededores donde todo es zona azul.

Nice clean older comfortable hotel, 5 minute walk to metro and 20 minute walk into old city of Porto. Lovely helpful people working there, found out about Fado for us and other things that were on in Porto. Good breakfast served quickly in am, and nice to park underground in safe enclosure under hotel.

Biggest hotel room Ive seen in Europe. There was a night stand on each side of the bed, a desk and chair, and still plenty of room to walk around. Breakfast had various yogurts and rolls to choose from and the hotel was just five or six minutes from the metro station. Snack bars and restaurants within one to two blocks. My only complaint would be the noise in the hotel room at night. The elevator is quite loud and youll hear it each time it is called. I got used to it after a few days though (I stayed there for 6 days).

Everything in this hotel is very old (30 years I think). The TV was also very small and very old. The Breakfast was bad and there was no variation. No croissants, no omelett, just very cheap and bad food.

Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was decent (nothing special). Hotel was difficulty to get to as it is on a one-way busy street you have one block to cross. We had to drive around the block a couple times.By far the biggest asset to this place is the lady who works at the front desk. She provides you with all information you need to get the best experience in Porto while you are there. Overall we had a good experience and would recommend the hotel to other travelers.

A nice place to stay without any outstanding features apart from the staff. Location and breakfast were both good without being great. It is about a 10 minute walk to the metro. A simple way to improve would be to take a little more care with the rooms. For example, I had a light that didnt work. As stated previously staff were great!

Close to a metro station but quite a bit of walking to city center areas. Did not mind the exercise and walking because the city center has beautiful buildings and statues. Room was small but adequate and clean. Helpful reception staff were a real plus.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits dans cet hôtel que nous recommandons. Très propre, silencieux, petit-déjeuner copieux, un accueil très sympa. Un personnel qui parle français et qui peut vous conseiller ce qui est très appréciable quand on ne connait que 3 ou 4 mots en portugais. La ligne de métro D 5 (ligne jaune) vous conduit tout près du centre en 5 mn. Si vous aimez la cuisine italienne pour changer des resto à touristes, allez non loin de l'hôtel à Mamma mia (Praça Marquès de Pompal à côté de la station de métro), c'est excellent de Sarah et Thierry de Bordeaux .

El hotel es muy viejo y muy descuidado. Pintura cuarteada, baños con cisterna en mal estado, grifos muy narices que no funcionan bien y aparcamiento privado con seis plazas en donde es difícil encontrar una. Por la zona se aparca mal y es "zona azul". El desayuno muy pobre, pero va incluido. Al menos las camas son duras, pero cómodas y el personal muy amable. El precio, barato, eso sí. A unos 10 minutos andando del centro, bien situado. Su buscas un alojamiento solo para dormir, está bien.

Justito de parking pero era gratuito. Nos atendieron muy bien , desayuno incluido pero es un pequeño desayuno , dan lo justo. Buen trato. Habitaciones retro , porque el edificio es viejo, entras y vuelves a los 80. Precio razonable para Oporto no queda muy céntrico pero se desplaza bien en metro desde alli

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!
Il prezzo è decisamente molto basso ma quello che si ottiene in cambio è più che dignitoso e ne vale la pena.
La struttura è vecchia ma pulita, le stanze sono sufficientemente grandi e funzionali e lo stesso si può dire per i bagni (attenzione che manca il phon). Il personale è cortese e disponibile.
Colazione: non estremamente varia ma fresca e compresa nel prezzo
Garage: gratuito compreso nel prezzo
Internet: via wifi, gratuito ma disponibile solo alla reception/sala comune-colazione
Buona posizione a pochi passi dalla metropolitana che in pochi minuti porta in centro.
Lo consiglio sicuramente per un weekend lungo / una settimana a Porto.

Ich war vom 17.3.-24.3. der einzige Gast, was mich doch sehr gewundert hatte, aber ab dem 25.3. war das Hotel auf einmal brechendvoll. Hatte also Glück gehabt, aber fühlte sich doch währenddessen Komisch an.Ansonsten ein sehr schönes Hotel, von der Lage her Optimal, Ruhig, ausreichend ausgestattet. Leider hatten die nur so einen alten 37cm Röhrenfernseher, was etwas anstrengend war zu gucken, aber nur wenn es einen wirklich stört. Gereicht hat es alle mal.

Das Hotel hat ein sehr gutes Preis-Leisrungs-Verhältnis. Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer im 3. Stock nach hinten mit Blick auf den Sportplatz des FC Porto, was uns schlichtweg begeisterte. Mir gefällt es, wenn sich Hotels mitten im normalen Leben und nicht nur in der Touristengegend befinden. Das Palanca sieht von außen unscheinbar aus und liegt in einer Häuserzeile für wenig Wohlhabende, aber mit optimaler Anbindung ins Stadtzentrum sowohl zu Fuß als auch per Metro. Um die Ecke gibt es einige gute Lokale. Uns haben die 2 Tage dort sehr gut gefallen.

Ambientado en los años 60, tanto en habitaciones como todo lo demas. No era lo que habíamos concertado. Empezando por la cama que había pedido de matrimonio y me llevaron a una habitación doble que daba a unas escaleras exteriores de emergencia. No te dan el mando para la tv. Las camas durísimas, unas almohadas de sofa, casi planas, muchísimos ruidos por la noche. Si te toca al lado del ascensor no pegaras ojo, además de que va super lento. Lo peor fue escoger el hotel por el parking gratuito y lo tuvimos que dejar los dos días en la calle, al menos fue fin de semana y no tuvimos que pagar.Si vas a desayunar allí mejor que lleves sobres de café. El peor hotel en el que he estado.

Wir hatten angekündigt, dass wir erst gegen Mitternacht ankommen und auf einen Parkplatz hoffen. Dementsprechend wurden wir erwartet und und der sehr freundliche Nachtportier wies uns in den (gratis...) Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage ein.Service, Infos, Zimmer, Frühstück (Büffet) - alles gut/sehr gut.

Very friendly staff, basic but clean facilities, a little far from the centre on foot (25 minutes downhill) but 5 minutes from Metro station Marques.The very small hotel parking was already full when we checked in. However, street parking was free as it was Easter bank holiday weekend. Reception told us as soon as a space became available. The noise insulation from traffic and the lift is not very good. Good continental buffet breakfast when the hotel is fairly booked, but limited when there is low occupancy. Still good value for money overall.

The hotel is located not far from the city centre about 15-20 minutes walk, some grocery shops are nearby, they have their own garage but not sure about if it is free, one of the things I like and always look for at hotel is free wi-fi and they have it, staff is very friendly and helpful. rooms are reasonable size and cleaned daily and it is value for money, i would recommend the hotel for staying there.
