Muito bem localizado, menos de 10 min da estação de comboios! A beliche era confortável, apesar de fazer muito barulho e balançar em excesso. O banho foi agradável! Foram simpáticos ao adiantar meu check-in e ao me receber depois após o horário normal. Saliento a decoração do hall de entrada e da escada. Azulejos portugueses belíssimos!

This hostel has a potential to be great, so it's quite sad to see it's not even close. The stylish decoration one one hand with broken facilites on the other hand make an impression like someone put a bunch of money into creating the hostel and then only milked it ever since. Out of 5 showers only 2 worked and one of them had a broken cabin lock. The toilet paper was soaked and dirty. The kitchen was gross as well. Plenty of space but none of it good for hanging out. Ever-present 'meh' vibe.

Ostello a buon prezzo, il check-out è self service ed ho trovato la cucina parecchio sporca. Bagni puliti e camere ampie.

Chegamos no quarto duplo e nos deparamos com mais 6 beliches.
Na hora do banho, não havia água quente, balneário misto, mal sinalizado...sujo...
Cozinha partilhada escura, suja e desconfortável.

O espaço do hostel é lindíssimo, porém a estrutura do serviço é falha.
Não há serviço de recepção, o check in foi feito no escuro, ao chegar no quarto (foi reservado um duplo standart) nos deparamos com 6 beliches e uma cama de casal, até aí sem crise, ao utilizar os balneários, não havia água quente, funcionários nem vê-los, uma sensação de abandono, quase como se a casa se gerisse sozinha!
No geral toda a experiência foi sofrível, a uma mais valia é a localização.
Péssimo!!!!!

Quarto bom e limpo. Única queixa a apontar é não existir wi-fi no mesmo. (Não sei se acontece o mesmo nos restantes). De resto, 5*.

The hot water in the showet took ages to come and then it lasted only for less than 10 minutes. the hook to secure the shower "phone" was broken to all the showers hens u needed to hold it and shower with one hand ! the box to put ur shower gel etc was so high it was impossible to be useful unless u where over 2metres tall... Taking a shower there was far from a comfortable experience.The bed was too noisy when climbing up and down and was free standing - not secure on the wall or smth -so it was quite shaky everytime i or my roomate under me.. wanted to change position The pillows are very old and need to be changed immediately The rest of the areas where ok to be honest and there is a very cool terrace but the kitchen was disgusting.

El edificio parece otro pero por dentro está mejor. La habitación no tiene armario y las almohadas no tienen relleno y la nuestra tenía humedades. Aún así lo peor son los baños,muy sucios, a las 10.00 de la mañana del día siguiente aún no habían limpiado lo del día anterior que era bastante y había dos averiados y una ducha sin cerrojo.

This place has potential to be a great hostel but kept coming up short. The room was large, beautiful and well kept but the corridor is very noisy. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly when you can find them but we waited over an hour for them when checking in so that we could store our bags despite having a sign saying that they should be there and having rung the day before to inform them of our early arrival and to check we could store bags. The showers were great but 2 out of 5 were out of order and toilets didn’t have toilet seats. The kitchen was ok but there weren’t any knives or forks. The location couldn’t be more central though and overall we would stay again it’s just sad as this place has so much potential.

Good location, rooms clean and bathrooms fairly clean.
However, 4 of 6 showers were out of order and the toilets were missing seats. There was trash laying around at the balcony and no one bothered to clean that up. When i mentioned it to the staff he laughed and shrugged it of never doing something about it. The kitchen was also very dirty. On one day there wasn't any toilet paper until 3 pm.
Dispite the very bad things the hostel lacks atmosphere and ha a lot of potential to become better. Like the very big balcony which has roughly 60 m^2 but is absolutely empty despite 3 plastic chairs standing around.
Not the worst hostel i've stayed at but certainly not a good one either.
I wouldn't go again and i am sure there are better places around.

Das Hostel ist super gelegen. Man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten binnen wenigen Minuten. Das Hostel hat mit seiner Terrasse und den Zimmern im Kachel-Look einen schönen Charme.
Viele Duschkabinen oder Toilettenkabinen waren Defekt (nicht zusperren). Wir gingen auch lieber zum Essen, weil wir in der Küche nichts kochen wollten.
Für eine Nacht hat es gepasst.

Infestação de percevejos no quarto feminino. Os cobertores não são trocados, apenas os lençóis, além de ser de baixa qualidade. A localização é boa e os funcionários atenciosos, mas os responsáveis pelo local deveria tomar uma atitude quanto aos percevejos. O banheiro é misto, tem apenas dois chuveiros "funcionando" e não esquenta!

We had the private room, shared bathroom. The room is very nice, spacious and very clean. Highly recommended. No hot water in the showers however. Might be temporary.

Tuvimos un pequeño problema con la reserva pero nos lo resolvieron al instante. La habitación y la cama estupenda. El único problema es que solo funcionaba una ducha en los baños compartidos y no había agua caliente. Limpieza muy buena. Lo que más nos gustó de la estancia fue la terraza que tienen. muy recomendable subir!

Muito bom o hostel, extremamente bem localizado, isso foi o q eu mais gostei. Os funcionarios sao muito simpaticos e resolutivos tbm. Só tem poucos banheiros, mas nada que atrapalhe muito a rotina.

Péssimo. Não recomendo! Há bedbugs (percevejos) no local que me trouxeram imenso prejuízo, não dormi à noite e acordei cheia de picadas. Casas de banho ruins.

The location of the hostel was excellent, but the details were lacking. For example, there's no soap in the washrooms to wash your hands, there's no plug for the hair dryer, yet they do provide a hair dryer for your use, some toilets do not have toilet sests, there are no lockers in the dorms, and while they say they have 24 hour reception, that's not true. There is a kitchen to cook your own food, but the staff don't seem to care about putting the dishes away and tidying up, but the staff are helpful and friendly. If they worked on the details, it would be a much better hostel experience, and perhaps more people may go, creating more of an atmosphere there.

Belle endroit, mais la cuisine n'est pas très pratique (peu de matériel) , il n'y a pas de savon pour les mains dans les salles de bain. Sinon séjour agréable

We had a mixed experience with the hostel. We mainly chose it for the free parking as advertised on hostelworld. It turned out to be advertising with wrong facts so we ended up paying for parking. The hostel itself is quite nice but feels a bit empty and needs some furniture to fill the common areas!

Ótimo lugar para repousar próximo da estação do trem e dos pontos turísticos, local bem limpo e agradável, diferente dos outros hostel que fui aqui tem mais cara de hotel, sendo mais impessoal e reservado. Acho que precisa melhorar a parte de iluminação no quarto com luminárias nas camas e mais tomadas, tirando isso é excelente.

A entrada do hostel e o quarto tem decoração incrível! O quarto é confortável e o banheiro, compartilhado entre homens e mulheres, está sempre limpo e organizado. A cozinha é boa, porém senti falta de um kattle ou torradeira. As áreas publicas do hostel são bem frias, mas dentro do quarto há aquecedor. Senti falta também de uma pia dentro do quarto ou pelo menos um espelho! Ótimo hostel e ótima localização.

Estuvimos hospedados en el Hostel Coimbra Portagem con motivo de un viaje de vacaciones. El hostal está limpio y la decoración es muy interesante. Las habitaciones son grandes (estuvimos en una habitación que en principio era doble, pero además tenía tres literas). El unico problema es que el checkin no se puede hacer hasta las 4 pm.

客房是乾淨的,但是這家旅館不是隨時都有人在,隔天早上我寄放行李出門,下午要搭一點多的火車,結果中午回來竟然沒有人可以幫我開門拿行李,我整個差點趕不上火車

Comfortable enough, but a little odd. Reception was intermittently available, and there was an emptiness about the place as though staff are still working on filling in the blanks and spaces. Can't complain about the spacious and clean restrooms or roof deck, though. I guess it gets the job done.

the hotel was absolutely amazing, the design was super well thought and it was so inviting! the owner stayed late to receive us as we were travelling back from a friend's wedding nearby and was chatting with us ensuring we had everything we needed. there's also a beautiful terrace overlooking the river and a great bar lounge on the upstairs part of the building. Would definitely stay here again! Amazing experience!

I'd stay here again. Clean and quiet and best yet, a great location in town. They also have a great top floor with plastic chairs to enjoy sunsets and relaxation.

Hostal limpio y agradable. Las camas son cómodas y no hemos tenido ningún problema. La única pega es que los baños son comunes, aunque están muy limpios, y que el wifi no es muy potente.

Joli bâtiment et chambre double spacieuse bien insonorisée sur l'extérieur et climatisée mais le problème majeur sont les fenêtres situées au dessus des portes de toutes les chambres qui donnent sur le couloir allumé toute la nuit. Impossible de dormir si vous n'avez pas de masque pour les yeux (chambre éclairée comme si on avait allumé la lumière de la chambre).
Suffisamment de douches et WC dans la salle de bain collective mais beaucoup de problèmes d'entretien : lunettes des toilettes et portes de douches cassées, éviers bouchés, distributeurs de savons vides.
Dommage, gros potentiel et prix intéressant mais n'y retournerai pas.

The hostel used to be a museum so the tiles on the wall were lovely. Even though we shared the bathroom there was no waits as there were lots of stalls for the toilet and showers, which were very high tech with sprays. The air conditioned clean room with a view was nice. You could go in the roof top to see: the sunset and the continued building had a great restaurant with great food, outside patio and a view of the river. The only thing is the 4;00 check in which caused a problem as they did not hear the bell when we rang.

Situato all'inizio del centro di Coimbra, appena dopo il ponte sul fiume Montego, è un'ottima base sia per arrivare in città con bagagli al seguito, sia per iniziare le visite alle tortuose vie della città. L'ambiente è molto carino con una cucina ben attrezzata e un'ampia area comune. Le camere sono accoglienti e decorate con classici azulejos, mentre le docce e i bagni comuni sono numerosi, moderni e sempre puliti. La ragazza alla reception è molto disponibile a indicare sia le zone d'interesse della città, sia i ristoranti o i locali giusti.

Hostello molto carino, particolare la struttura sì antica, ma risistemata bene. Camere ok, bagni ok e soprattutto pulito! Ottima posizione,vicino alla stazione e al centro.personale gentile. Non c'è la colazione,non c'è una lavatrice /Asciugatrice, gli asciugamani si pagano, ma già che sia pulito è una gran cosa.

Another great hostel along the Caminho Portuguese. Very new, very nice decorations with a lot of love for details.
The rooms are quite small with six beds but ok. They have air conditioning which is very good and a big relaxing/gathering area with kitchen. All very neat and clean. Very good access to the city and to the Caminho.
I come here again when I am in Coimbra.

Position is perfect for a visit to the city centre, and the hostel is nice and clean. Toilets are new and well kept, and all the bunks have electricity and a little shelf.
