We went to there to celerate a wedding anniversary and a birthday. It was beyond our expectation for everything. Amazing hospitarity, great dinner and breakfast, cozy and confortable room, and cute dogs in Quinta. I also could see many cherry, lemon, olive, and grape trees surrounding the Quinta, which make the staying special. The place seems difficult to walk from the city and the rede station, but it was possible if you're a kind of person who like hiking. Actually, we really liked the path from Quinta to the rede station:) Thank you for the great service!

My stay here was perfect. The quinta is luxurious- pool with lounge chairs, beautiful sitting area, comfortable beds, a rain shower with robe and slippers and so many small simple touches that make the stay luxurious. There were sprigs of rosemary on the pillows and clementines in the room as welcomes for the stay. The breakfast was better than I’ve had in a long time- fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese, meats, eggs/bacon, breads, jams, fresh squeezed juice and coffee. Nothing was left out. I will definitely stay here again and give it the highest rating possible and at a extremely reasonable price. 5 stars

Incredible! We can’t say enough good things about Quinta Do Bosque! The attention to detail is relentless, the quality of the rooms and amenities is superb and the views are breathtaking. The photos online truly do not do justice to this lovely bnb. We can’t wait to come back! It’s been the best stay during our time in Portugal so far (out of 4 other locations we’ve stayed at - we miss Quinta Do Bosque the most).

Excepcional. Equipa extremamente simpática e prestável. Ambiente muito acolhedor, com vistas únicas. O jantar estava delicioso e o pequeno almoço divinal.

Absolutely luxurious stay with wonderful views of the valley. You are in a small village at start of Douro but host provides intimate dinner on request if you just want to unwind there.

If 6 stars rating was available, this place should have gotten it. Kindness and welcoming of the staff is beyond this world. Location is a bit challenging for tourists, but definitely worth it. The Douro valley view from the hotel is mesmerizing.

Eu e meu marido nos hospedamos na Quinta do Bosque, para comemorar o meu aniversário, pesquisamos bastante porque a verdade é que a estrutura hoteleira na margem do Douro é incrível, assim como nossa hospedagem nesta Quinta!! O Cristiano foi espetacular, incansável, estava sempre à disposição, assim como a Maria, que foi quem nos recepcionou! Muito amáveis, a casa é muito limpinha, super bem decorada, o quarto é cheiroso e ainda com “mimos” para você se sentir especial e a vista, não tenho palavras para descrever, somente agradecer, porque nos sentimos muito bem vindos é isso não se paga! Já estamos com saudades!!! Sucesso Quinta do Bosque!!

We Stay at Quinta Do Bosque and this place is Just a Paradise, The complex is amazing and surround in the middle of beautiful fields. Our room was Decorate in very High level. There is an amazing swimming pool with perfect view of Douro Valley. Cristiano the host was very friendly and help us in any question or request that we just ask. We cant wait to come back in our next vacation in Portugal. 5 STARS !!!

Que dire tout était parfait ! Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans ce petit coin de paradis. La décoration, le calme, la chambre, la cuisine tout est réunis pour passer un moment des plus cocooning et relaxant ! Le calme des lieux et l'atmosphère qui s’en dégage vous apaisera dès votre arrivée. Merci à Maria pour son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse qui rend ce lieux encore plus chaleureux. Quando se trabalha com gosto sem dúvida que os clientes ficam maravilhados. Depois de um bom jantar uma ótima dormida somos brindados por um fantástico pequeno almoço!!! Não há palavras para a qualidade injetada por todo o staff da Quinta do Bosque. Qualidade/gosto e capacidade de agradar o cliente fazem parte do vosso ADN. Parabéns.

Definitely one of the best places i have been so far. From the very moment of arrival to the last second before departing, the place and staff were very welcoming and our expectations were surpassed.
Once more, the staff was top notch;
The place is very fancy and comfortable at the same time;
The breakfast, included, is amazing and gives you the overall healthy and tasty option as well as delight you with local products.
The mini bar (which actually is a small self-service bar, points on that) has a variety of drinks at very affordable prices - actually even here you get value for money.
The view is peaceful and you have direct access to the nature and the famous Douro vineyards are just around.
Finally, the property offered the possibility to have dinner with them. This has an extra fee and is restricted to availability, but is quite a delightful extra which again is worth every cent.
If you want to visit Douro Valley and need not just a place to stay but a place to relax and enjoy - this is the place. Better than any hotel around.

Incredible nice hotel. There are only 5 rooms. It feels extremely romantic and cozy. Breakfast ist very-very nice and dinner is tasty, almost everything is from the private organic garden. They serve vine from this area. Our room is beautifully modern. Here you can 100% relax and forget about daily stress. Recommend recommend.

Wonderful stay in this 5 star quality boutique hotel with exceptional service at the doors of the Douro. Beautiful views.The staff is extremely warm and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner are delicious.

Wow! This property was simply outstanding. The view is just awesome and Christiano and his staff went out of their way to make us feel so welcome and relaxed. Our room was spacious and the balcony view out of this world. We stayed for dinner as we didn’t want to venture out in our rental car at night on the small and steep roads and so happy we did. The dinner was just delicious, grilled octopus with full four courses and the included breakfast was delightful. Just book this place!

Where do I start.....it truly was simply magical!We traveled, my husband and I, 2 weeks through Portugal, staying here, was The Absolute high light!The owner, Christiano, runs this place hands on with some great staff, Maria, Louisa, a cook and I am sure other staff that I did not see or missed.The eye for details is that extra that makes all the difference.Our sleep was wonderful, in a stunning room.The location breathtakingThe breakfasts lovely, so much choice and so good, dinners tasty and simply fantastic.Loved the pool.We were here for 2 overnightings....Too short! Oh yes if we could do it again, we would have stayed longer.They make you feel like a King and Queen.Nothing was too much.All what was done, was done with care, politeness and always with a smile!We truly can not say enough about this place, but what we will say is, of all the years of our travelling, and we do a fair bit, this was with no doubt our number 1.A sincere thank you to Christiano and his team!They know the meaning of treating people in a special way.

One of the best part of our Portugal trip was when we stayed at Quinta de bosque. The hotel is beautifully designed, big room with great bed, shower, all of the small details are fully thought. There is unforgettable view of the valley with a pool. The best part was the team - Cristiano and Maria are always available, nice and made us feel like kings. Thank you, we will be back for sure.

Espaço acolhedor preparado para Max de 10 hóspedes... 4 quartos standard e uma super suíte, que tivemos oportunidade de experimentar.
Casa espetacular, moderna, muitíssimo bem decorada , limpa e com staff super atencioso e simpático.
Quarto com uma limpeza excecional, é com condições 5*.
Espaço da piscina simples e muito bem preparado com espreguiçadeiras e sofás.
Pequeno almoço e jantar EXCECIONAIS ....
Relação preço/qualidade surpreende muitíssimo pela positiva..!
PARABENS.. aconselho vivamente...

I have only amazing things to say about this place. From Cristiano and his staff, to the setting, room and food - our stay at Quinta do Bosque was perfect. Not only do I highly recommend this place, but I will plan my future vacations to Portugal around coming back to this magical place.

Quinta do Bosque is a hidden gem in the beautiful area of the Duoro Valley. The minute we arrived we felt welcome and Cristiano served us a welcome drink (a Port of course) by the nice pool. He and his team are exceptional and the recommendations were very helpful. There were lots of amenities e.g. a little chocolate before bedtime, laundry service and many more. Also nice that they serve dinner exclusively for the house guests. The room is very spacious with a nice view. We had a very lovely time. Thanks Cristiano and team.

One of the best properties weve been at in a long time. The property itself is gorgeous, but Cristiano and his staff are the true gems. They go entirely out of their way to make you feel comfortable, but not in the typical Four Seasons everybody is pleasant way. Their care for their guests shines through along with the attention to detail that only can come with pride of ownership.

Our stay at Quinta do Bosque was exceptional! Not only is it one of the most beautiful hotels (and locations) Ive ever stayed at, the service, thoughtfulness and attention to detail provided by Christiano, Angela, and Maria were unparalleled. On top of the excellent service, they were an absolute delight to be around. We spent two nights enjoying the stunning views, delicious breakfast, delightful ambiance and luxury rooms. I reviewed 5 other luxury, boutique hotels in the area and am so glad I ended up choosing Quinta do Bosque! Highly recommend!

Everything about this place was excellent. The hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic views over the Douro Valley. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and all very laid back. We stayed in the Junior Deluxe suite which is lovely.

Great place, very friendly people, breakfast had everything we desired. Word of advice: if you want to go out for dinner, you will need to drive a few kilometers because there is almost nothing in the nearby town.

We were warmly welcomed by Cristiano with a glass of local port and given exceptional assistance and recommendations our entire stay. Breakfast was SENSENTIONAL, as was the view from our room and the very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Hope to visit in summer when we can take advantage of the pool! Thank you!

Simply superb and NOT to be missed! Much better than Quinta do Vallado as it's in a much more tranquil and authentic and beautiful setting. The service was impeccable and Cristiano and his team cannot be beat for hospitality and taking care of their guests. This place was tops on our list in Portugal and I cannot recommend it enough. Glorious fresh breakfasts served poolside were such a highlight.

Diese erst ein Jahr bestehende Quinta wird von Cristiano Silva und seiner Gattin mit grosser Liebe, Aufmerksamkeit und Professionalität geführt. Die Aussicht ist wundervoll, Sauberkeit 1a und der von der Chefin des Hauses gemachte Kuchen nur zu empfehlen.
