Another magic spot in rural Portugal. Great as a base to explore the area or like us, a stop on the Caminho Portuges. Had the unexpected delight if seeing a baby owl up close and also my friend below - a nobbly toad. Antonia and his family and staff will make your stay special.

This is a gorgeous place to stay and can only imagine how lovely the gardens are in summer and spring. (It was raining the day we arrived).We stayed in room 8 for 1 night while walking the camino. There was a double bed and sofa bed, both were really comfortable. A little kitchen with microwave, washing machine, kettle and all the cutlery for self catering. Breakfast was included in our room and was delicious, but doesn't start till 8:30 am, so this may be an issue for some. Only issue was the hot water for showers, they were luke warm and the wifi did not work in the stone walled room. Great wifi once you were in the main building.

Excelente hotel rural, com toda a comodidade, conforto, qualidade esperada e mais.
Ótimo local para passar uns dia ou mesmo para a realização de um evento especial (casamentos, aniversários, comemoraçoes... ).
Simpatia e dedicação. Hospitalidade pura.

Le cadre et l endroit génial par contre dommage qu’il y est un problème de réception tv car aucune chaîne française et le chauffage n est pas à certaines heures ou on en a le plus besoin car le propriétaire m’a dit que c été un peu pour l eau et un peu pour le radiateur

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön gelegen. Ein altes Hofgut mit sehr charakteristischem Stil. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber. Das Grundstück gepflegt. Die Inhaber sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Um excelente local para visitar. Seja para uma curta ou longa estadia, com todos os espaços, sejam comuns ou privados, com o que de melhor existe a nível de conforto. Conforto esse, que se conjuga muito bem com o estilo rústico do meio rural e com a tranquilidade natural de uma aldeia.
Mas também, um excelente espaço para todo o tipo de eventos. Com amplos espaços e requintados. Para que se tornem inesquecíveis...

Estuvimos un fin de semana y la estacia fue genial ,buena ubicación , habitaciones confortables , desayuno abundante y excelente , buena atención .El sonido de las campanas de la iglesia algo excesivo . Es perfecto para verano , con piscina , jardín , juegos y rutas de senderismo cercanas .En resumen un 9 de 10......

Alojamento local em Arcos e espaço para eventos como casamentos.
Trata-se de um pequeno solar do século XVIII originalmente propriadadeda família Costa e Melo e agora transformado em unidade de turismo rural e do outro lado da rua , portões adentro de uma quinta está o mais belo exemplar de espigueiro de toda a região, objeto de estudo dos mais importantes etnólogos de todo o país.

The Quinta is a beautiful residence with a very authentic garden/pool area. We loved all of it, including our room within the old walls. The staff is charming and very helpful and there are lots of things to explore in the surrounding area. Our day trip to Porto with the tuk-tuk ride was a perfect combination of history and sightseeing.We recommend the Quinta and would love to return for a longer stay than 2 nights.

This is a gorgeous property in an amazing location. The grounds, with 2 pools and various outdoor sitting areas are a bit of a maze and very intriguing. When we got off the Camino we spent a couple of hours sitting under a pergola relaxing, journalling and chatting, drinking in the surroundings and the views (as well as a little vinho!). We had what they called a family room but was in fact a large suite with two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom, complete with clawfoot bathtub. Everything was clean and in reasonable repair. The downside for us was that neither the bed nor the pillows were comfortable, detracting from what otherwise was a wonderful stay. Service was great, breakfast was adequate, and they machine washed and dried a load of clothes for us for free. All in all a very good stay at a beautifully authentic historic quinta.

This was a VERY long day of walking and we were very happy to arrive and jump in the pool when we got there. We found beer and wine in our rooms that was so cold and not very expensive, and our room had a nice little patio off the side that we could sit out and enjoy our beers. The management was very well organized and nice, and the breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a wonderful surprise to find a place like this in a small village of arcos Portugal. The building was very well redone and the rooms were large. I had supper there as well and it was excellent.

Was there as a stop on the Caminho del Santiago. It is right on the Caminho in the middle of the quietest farm country. It is an historic vineyard/farm turned to bed and breakfast. The owner has spared no expense in detail while keeping the beauty of the old style. Staff is extra friendly and attentive. I recommend this place to anyone just looking to get away from it all that can appreciate real old style beauty and charm.

Auf dem Caminho hier einzukehren ist einfach ein Traum. Freundliches Familienhotel mit Pool und einem sagenhaften Rasen. Dinner im Haus. Speisen gut, Bedienung sehr freundlich. Verständigung auf englisch. Top ist der Wäscheservice. Nachmittags abgegeben und zum Abendessen bereit. Inklusive! Prima Lage im Dorf und früh kräht der Hahn. Gegen 1700 Bimmelshow der Ortskirche. Sensation das. Nachts ist gottseidank Ruhe. Empfehlung!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Direkt am Camino gelegen. Sympathischer Empfang. Das Menü am Abend ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben einen schönen Flair. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wow! Antonio and his wife keep this Quinta super awesome. There is a wedding space, a swimming pool, a lot of plants, crazy good dinner and breakfast. Antonio is of great help and the rooms are kept well.

Durch Zufall gefunden, da die Füße am camino eine Pause brauchten. Zimmer 40 Euro. Zimmer sauber und modern. Personal sehr nett.

Fantástico lugar, muy cómoda la estancia, con aparcamiento Justo delante de la habitación.
Maravilloso lugar para descansar y el personal con un trato estupendo.
Muy cerca de Vila do Conde, Póvoa do Barzim, Outlet de Vila do Conde, mirador do Monte de San Félix. Muy recomendable para visitar esta zona y poder descansar plácidamente sin un solo ruido.

Mi esposa y yo nos hospedamos en este casa y nos sentimos como en nuestro hogar. La atención es maravillosa y las habitaciones muy bien decoradas, perfectamente limpias y muy acogedoras. El desayuno nos encantó. Definitivamente regresaríamos.

We were absolutely delighted with ever aspect of this place. Our room was large and had coffee making facilities which is rare in Portugal. The breakfast was a little chaotic with all of us arriving at once and trying to get food before starting our day on the Camino Trail.

The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable after a long days walking and even offered to do some washing for us at no extra charge. All the rooms I saw were individual and finished to an excellent standard. Breakfast is quite nice. I recommend this place if you want to experience the countryside in Portugal.

From the moment we arrived we felt pampered and very lucky to be staying at this hotel. Received warm welcome and after being shown our rooms our washing was taken away and returned within an hour. I would most definitely recommend anyone travelling through Arcoa Portugal they ensure they take advantage of this wonderful establishment.

Quinta Sao Miguel de Arcos what a sensational place. There is a lot to do around the hotel. There are plenty of attractions nearby which I hope we can enjoy when we go back with more time. The nearby church bell which rings at 9am worked well as a gentle reminder that breakfast was served.

Charming little place. It's historic, rustic, clean, staff are very nice, and breakfast is great.
It's a great spot to pamper yourself a little if you're doing the camino.

Fiz uma reserva neste espaço e no dia da estadia faleceu o meu avô...assim que pude avisei o dito espaço do sucedido tentei remarcar ou que me dessem um voucher..exigiram me o papel comprovativo do falecimento e mesmo depois disso não deixaram ...assim que possível irei passar pelas instalações para escrever no livro de reclamações...mortes não se prevêem

Amazing location and such a great space but in need of a major upgrade. The courtyard and pool areas are great but there is just too much clutter around outside like old armchairs and even older looking table football/table tennis table which gives the feel of someone storing all their unwanted items before they throw them away. The reception area is dark and quite uninspiring and the dining area is crammed into a really small space which doesnt inspire you to want to eat there. The rooms were OK, but not decorated particularly tastefully. The owner was a very helpful guy who was clearly doing his very best, but we got the impression it was just too much for him to run on his own and we only ever saw one other member of staff. Great location with amazing space to have a potentially fantastic venue but clearly needs an overall and good tidy up of the the outdoor space!

Oorspronkelijk een boerderij; nu prima verbouwd met allerlei kamers. Verzorgde tuin. De gastheer en de staf behulpzaam. Prima service om de onze wandelkleten te wassen.
