You can see how much we love the restaurant.
The black bean burger is sooooo good with special sauce and the homemade mayonnaise with the sweet potato chips is yum. Although it’s all without meat, it tastes really awesome.
I can’t tell how good it tastes , please try it or you will regret it!!!!!

What a find!
I was strolling the city with a friend when we decided to have dinner. Being vegan I told him that could be difficult to find somewhere and boom there it was “Outro Lado”
We both had the same dish and the vegan egg was absolutely incredible.
The place, the staff, the price!!! Everything perfect.
Only I came back next day (Friday) to bring 3 other friends and it was closed.
Still very well deserved 5 star.

A bit bland, I have to say. Some spices would make this restaurant better. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the few vegetarian restaurants in Faro, so I can’t give less than 4!

It’s the best vegan place in town: from burgers to Portuguese typical food reinvented as vegan and delicious!!! I strongly recommend specially for non-vegans to have it a go! Start with ‘Bitoque’ (vegan steak and egg) and finish with a divine brownie!!!

O restaurante tem um ambiente muito agradável, com cozinha aberta e atendimento muito pessoal. Explicam os pratos, com seus ingredientes mais saudáveis de produtores locais. O sabor da comida é um espetáculo, sente que são produtos frescos e bem confeccionados. Recomendo vivamente. Fazem entregas ao domicílio pela empresa Comer Em Casa.

Very delicious vegan food. I'm pretty sure even non vegan people will be happy there. They were very welcoming and friendly to us and even closed later than normally so that we could eat without pressure. I can highly recommend that place!

Maravilloso restaurante libre de crueldad animal. Fuimos dos veces en nuestro viaje a Faro y salimos más que encantados. Todo muy muy rico y el personal es extremadamente amable. La cena de Nochevieja también la tomamos allí y fue deliciosa y el ambiente entrañable.

I really enjoyed my experience here! The staff are so warm and welcoming. I had the saffron risotto with asparagus and it was delicious! I had fresh watermelon juice which was equally delicious. I was too full for dessert but the couple beside me had it and it looked amazing. I would definitely recommend!

Ab-so-lu-tely amazing. This restaurant deserves a vegan Michelin star. My bf asked if the cooking lady could move in with us so she can cook for us. Lol. Amazing staff, the best (!) vegan cheese platter ever, the best (!) vegan curry and the burger is also lovely. Thank you for your good care and we.will.come.back. In between I would like to give some advice to upgrade to first floor and to make it more cozy with better lighting and some plants, just like downstairs. Other than that, the food is lovely <3

Beautiful surprise! This is how any food should taste and make you feel. Simple and tasteful, nutritious and light, peaceful and uplifting. Tried tofu curry, mushroom strogonof, watermelon juice and carob flour cake and all them had that special spark that make you smile. Prana everywhere. This most loving couple taking care of you like you take care of a good old friend. Thank you guys for making this trip splendid.

After spending almost the entire evening in this lovely place, I truly think this restaurant deserves my first Google review ever. The food was simply delicious and you could tell (and actually even see) everything was freshly cooked. The guy owning the place was one of the most genuine people that I ever have had the chance to meet. 5/5 recommendation to visit this place!
p.S. And this is coming from a non-vegetarian ;)

A great restaurant and a must if you are in Faro ! The food is excellent and the Staff are simply great, I was having a terrible headache and the guy just went and got me a pill to relieve the pain and kept checking if I was feeling okay . I am really thankful for making my last day in Faro great and I will definitely come back again :))

Only stopped for a refresher in the August heat. Fresh juices are deliciously refreshing and carob treats delicious. Family friendly. Guy running this place is one of the most affable people you'll ever meet.

We had really wonderful organic coffee here. Unfortunately, they served us a 3/4 cup...it was strange to receive a cup more than half empty but, there was no denying the taste was excellent! The corn bread had a wonderful texture and my favorite part of our meal was the gazpacho. It was light and refreshing, with fresh herbs. We tried the asparagus risotto, and the mushroom stroganoff. Then risotto came out with maybe one spear of asparagus chopped up into the dish and garnished with two tomatoes. The presentation was lacking, and the flavor was a bit bland. The mushroom dish was nice,and it was plated with a small side salad. I think the place is under new ownership, and I'm sure they will work out the little kinks. They were a really lovely couple and the concept is there. However, the sizes and quality wasn't worth the price and it wasn't too impressive overall.

A small gem located in a hidden street, yet downtown Faro. Outro Lado shows a different face of what a vegan restaurant can be. Non pretencious, simple yet elegant, organic authentic food. To me, this place represents a place to chill out with friends or to be alone for a nice confort food meal. Location wise, it is downtown, 5 minutes walking from the Marina. The place is a 2 floor based, but the upper floor feels so wide that you can have great conversations with your friends. The staff is very kind, customer focused and the food is just amaaaazing! Prices are quite reasonable, and would say underpriced, specially with their lunch special. I definitely recomend this establishment to eat and enjoy vegan food.

Had the most amazing experience at this restaurant, to all be ruined when it was time to pay. Not because of the price which I actually found to be cheap for the quality of the food, but because i found they didn't accept payments with card. I had to leave my ID at the counter to go to an ATM machine. On the other hand the food was amazing. Flavourful, adequate portions, all vegan and really well priced. All the staff included the kitchen chef (which is really talented) were very friendly. The restaurant and dinnerware used were nice. And they use metal straws :) I wanted to give it 5 stars but I can't ... They should have clear signs to inform they don't accept debit or credit cards. Go and eat there, I 100% recommend it.

The food here is very good indeed I had the "bitoque" the flavours spot on with the bay garlic onion etc. Just great...and the fried egg if I close my eyes I could swear it was a real egg ..but of course it was not ...all vegan...in the main meal I did not rate the rice to dry gritty and no flavour...should have been fluffy and soft with sauce "bitoque"...but overall great .. the same could not been said for the cheese cake too much like hard jelly rather than smooth silky cheese cake... If they iron out these lows it it be 5stars all the way....well done. XX

Me and my girlfriend went here and is AMAZING! At lunch they have a buffet with a complete menu for 11,50€ all you can eat(Soup, drink, dish and coffee)! We had lasagna was Incredible! And then we tried at dinner is very good too, they have a menu à lá carte with some Seitan steak with vegan egg and some others vegan portuguese dishes too. We recommend a lot this place if you are in Faro!

We absolutely loved this place, food was incredible (even the meat eater that joined us thought so ) and the staff was super great. 2 of us had the seitan steak with a fake egg and it tasted so similar to real eggs it was insane, one had the curry which was great too and the 4th one a few different starters, all amazing. 100% recommend this place.

Such a labour of love! This is a little gem of a place. Everything, from simple, yet elegant and slightly quirky decor, to superbe friendly and efficient staff, to music is just top class. Food is cooked from scratch and seasoned to perfection. The head chef Daniela is a treasure and Rubén is a wonderful host! If you are vegan and visiting Algarve, this is a must. If you are not vegan, still try it - for the food, for the atmosphere, and to support such brave young people with a strong vision and ideals.

The food is delicious and super tasty! The strawberry cheese cake is amazing! I really wish we had this restaurant in our hometown! The only thing weird was that we arrived 30 mins after the place opened, there were just 4 tables that were occupied, and when we wanted order the black bean burger, they were out of burger bread.

I highly recommend this resturant!
Can definitely vouch for the raw spaghetti bolognese and tofu steak and mouthwatering desserts.

Delicious vegan/vegetarian food. Small, personal and cute. Always a set menu every day, so dont go expecting to read through a menu; But you are given options to choose from. Yummy, healthy desserts. Staff are lovely and knowledgeable about the menu.
The have a little grocery section downstairs for fill your own jars of beans/ pulses and other sustainable eco friendly products.
