Great spot, very nice staff, good teachers, reasonable prices. We were almost 10 people and the teams were nice, flexible and very teachy. I highly recommend!

I bought a surfboard. The owner insisted he could send it to London where I live. After one month I received the wrong board and they do not want to take it back nor refund it . Worst experience.

Very nice staff. Always available and kind. And they really know what they are talking about. Surfshop is not big but you will find everything you need.
I took private lessons and it was really great. Good teachers who really take care of you with you defaults and qualities. They understand your capabilities and I did progress a lot in only 3 lessons.
See you next year guys :-)

Muy amables y atentos en todo momento. Las clases para principiantes estaban muy bien y, para los más avanzados, Diogo resultó de mucha ayuda para seguir aprendiendo.
El último día, el estado de las olas no era muy bueno pero nos dieron la opción de hacer clase o simplemente alquilar equipo. Elegimos clase y nos dió una clase más avanzada otro profesor que, a pesar de que las olas eran pequeñas y difíciles de coger, conseguimos aprender a girar en el sentido de la ola.
Muy recomendable, repetiría si volvemos a esa zona.

This is absolutely the place to go for surfing in and around VillaNova. Expert staff, really helpful. They are good with beginners and kids, and with experts and grown ups. And they love what they are best at: surfing! We had a terrific two weeks with them. And we will certainly come back.

4 days of fun and great experience with, on and in the waves. For us - absulute Beginners - the lessons were perfeclty adopted to our skills. We got good instructions and sufficient practice in the water (~1,5 h per lesson). the beach generated nice long waves (not too high for us). to make a long Story short: excellent place to learn sufing!!

Este é já o segundo ano consecutivo que frequentamos a escola de surf da ccboard quando vamos de férias a Milfontes e o profissionalismo, simpatia, disponibilidade e boa disposição são uma constante. A Beatriz e o Bruno são 5 estrelas e com a restante equipa criaram um ambiente fantástico em que todos nós nos sentimos em família.

Last summer we stayed in Portugal and travelled to Milfontes to surf. We booked at the lovely Surfers Villa with the Surf Shop and had lessons in the ocean nearby. It was a lovely experience! The house was great, large outdoor kitchen, barbeque, great swimmingpool and very nice hosts. The lessons were also good, we made great friends with the Surfshop. Bruno and his team are marvelous, the relaxness and joyfullnes are within their veins. Hope to come again soon! #recommended!

Samen met mijn vrouw en 4 kinderen les gehad in Surfen en Bodybord. Super fijne mensen. Nemen allemaal veel tijd voor de lessen. Vooral Miquel is een zeer goede leraar geweest voor onze kinderen. Echt een aanrader!

Als Surfanfänger waren meine fünfjährige Tochter und ich bei Brunos Team bestens aufgehoben. Bereits bei der Kaufberatung zu unseren Wetsuits fühlten wir uns sehr gut umsorgt. Unsere Einheiten zu Bodyboard und Surfen waren eine echte Bereicherung. Wir haben von Übungen zum Aufwärmen und späteren Dehnen, dem Lesen und verstehen der See (Gezeiten, Strömungen, Wind, Wellen) bis zur Nutzung des Boards alles erfahren und üben dürfen. Ich habe den Kurs wöchentlich verlängert,da wir lange vor Ort waren und ich meinen eigenen Fortschritt am Ende jeder Stunde bemerkt habe. Nach meinen Stunden im "white water" und ersten sicheren" take offs" kamen die ersten Ausflüge zu den "green waves". Sicherheit stand immer an erster Stelle. Das wurde so gelebt und hat mir die Sicherheit im Wasser gegeben. So waren auch die turbulentesten "wipe outs" kein großes Problem für mich.
Auf dieser Basis habe ich zwischendurch auch zwei schöne Tage mit einem geliehenen Board an anderen Stränden großen Spaß gehabt.
Die Stunden finden meist an einem Strand statt, welcher meiner Ansicht nach sehr gute Bedingungen zum Erlernen der wesentlichen Fähigkeiten eines guten Surfers bietet. Diese Erfahrung möchte ich nicht missen. Ich habe echt Spaß gehabt und bin hochmotiviert weiterzumachen - auch fernab der Wellen zu hause.
Auch hierfür habe ich im Shop sehr gute Beratung und tolles Material bekommen.
Wir kommen wieder!!!

I tried surf lessons with several surf schools around Portugal and this one is by far one of the best. Miguel (the instructor) really likes his job and he really does care about the people: to have fun and to learn!! Bruno (the owner) is super friendly and kind as well!! At the end of the session you get even a small bottle of water and a fruit. Malhao beach is so so so beautiful and ideal for beginners. I have great memories from that place with those people!! Go and see for yourself. You won't regret it!!

Sehr nettes, hilfsbereites und motiviertes Team, absolut faire Angebote und Preise. Wir haben uns spontan für zwei Tage Bodyboards ausgeliehen, es hat alles problemlos funktioniert und hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Das Team gibt auch gute Tipps an welchem Strand es sich lohnt zu fahren und worauf man als Landratte achten sollte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We highly recommend this surf school! Bruno and Miguel where both very nice to us and their lessons are great! Miguel takes all the time to make you feel comfortable and safe and makes you learn a lot! We did 2 lessons and were very sad that we had to leave. We Will definately come back!

Very good experience!
The meeting point was at the store witch has an amazing vibe and where any student was very well welcomed by the staff. During the surf class the instructor was super professional, explaining everything from the waves,currents and safety procedures before we enter the water and in the water took care of all the students wave by wave.
I'll come back again to surf with them for sure!

I spent 2 days with this team for some surf learning lessons.It was a few hours of great excitement,the whole team is amazing,from the owner to the newest employee,they look like a big family and they treated us as equals.I advise everyone who want to learn and spend a good time, go to this school, ccboardcenter!

Next time I come to Vila Nova de Milfontes - I’ll take surf lessons with this guys again for sure. The school is sooo nice and chill, instructors are all professional and really care about you being safe and actually learn something. Wanted to take just one or two lessons but ended up extending my stay and surfed with them for almost a week.
I’d definitely recommend this school to anyone coming to Milfontes and looking for a surf school.

Prima volta sulla tavola da surf, gli istruttori sono molto simpatici e professionali, divertimento assicurato!
Inoltre il negozio è fornitissimo e Bruno saprà accogliervi e consigliarvi le migliori spiagge del Portogallo.
Ho noleggiato la tavola qui per 6 giorni e siamo andati a sud dove i prezzi sarebbero stati molto più alti!

My family and I just returned from a visit to Portugal. We surfed for two of the day there with Surf Milfontes and had a great experience. The staff were amazing with my children and myself and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the region.

Lovely surf shop because: 1)They gave me a group lesson and I was able to stand on my surf board for about 7 seconds. Our group was about 9 or 10 people, but the staff broke us into different levels and rotated working with each person. 2) I finally found some excellent Reef sandals after searching many shops in the area.
Really fun, knowledgable staff. I would recommend to other beginner surfers.
