Great diving center. Helpful and frindly staff and good organized dive including "brunch". Also the dive site with wrecks is amazing. It is awesome to see huge engine room full of fish.

This was one of my best diving experience which I ever had. The equipment was like new, excellent condition, boat was great and safe. The instructors Estelle and Paul, have a huge experience, perfect English language and they are so helpful. Their knowledge is huge, and they teach great. The center it self is modern, clean and very good prepare for everyone. They have got a lockers with key, clean and big showers with hot water, funny but when you diving in cold ocean, hot shower after is this what you need. Store is very good equipped and advice from Paul is always good. Diving site, WOoooow!! I was diving inside two ships wrecks. Nothing else to say WOOOOOOOW 5+ is not enough.

Subnauta ist wirklich eine höchst professionelle Tauchbasis und es ist ein echt gutes Tauchen mit diesen Guides. Ich habe an mehreren Tagen abwechselnd sowohl mit Renato, Estelle und Hugo an den Wracks vor Portimao getaucht und es war mit jedem von ihnen ein Erlebnis. So etwas wie Subnauta hab ich bisher noch nicht erlebt und ich bin im Laufe der Jahre in einigen Ländern in's Wasser gegangen. Diese Basis ist in allem wirklich sehr gut organisiert und alles ist einfach nur perfekt. Egal, ob es sich um die Leihausrüstung, das Briefing oder den Transfer von der Basis zur Marina, wo die Boote von Subnauta liegen, handelt, alles super. Die Ausfahrten zu den Tauchplätzen erfolgte mit dem Zodiac der Basis und dauerte jeweils etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten. Wir waren manchmal nur 2 bis 3 Taucher und zweimal auch 6 Taucher, damit und der ganzen Ausrüstung ist das Schlauchboot dann auch ausgelastet. Trotzdem passiert in der Oberflächenpause das schier unglaubliche, es gibt Kaffee und Snacks. Ich war Ende April dort und da war das Meer meistens sehr unruhig bewegt. Die Temperaturen waren in der gesamten Wassersäule bei maximal 14 Grad"warm". Die Sichtweite war nicht sehr gut und hat durchschnittlich zwischen 3 und 4 Metern gelegen, zusätzlich gab es auch eine starke Algenblüte, also Tauchen in grüner Suppe. Die Sonneneinstrahlung verlor sich schon nach etwa 12 bis 15 Metern und eine kräftige Lampe ist während des gesamten Tauchgangs absolut notwendig. Die Beschreibung der Wracks findet sich unter "Ocean Revival Park" und es ist schon ein tolles Erlebnis, wo sonst kann man portugiesische Marineschiffe in erreichbaren Tiefen nicht nur von außen sondern auch von innen betauchen. Ich bin wirklich zufrieden das gemacht zu haben.

Ich bin begeister von dieser Tauchschule!!! Ich war wirklich schon an vielen Orten dieser Erde Tauchen aber habe noch nie so eine gut Organisierte Tauchschule erlebt. Die Ausrüstungen sind vom Feinsten, alles im neuen Zustand, Duschen direkt vor Ort und ein unglaublich nettes Personal!!! Meine GoPro ist bei einem Tauchgang verloren gegangen und Paulo und Renato, haben sich nochmal die Mühe gemacht danach zu Tauchen und haben Sie tatsächlich am Wrack gefunden. An dieser Stelle einen Herzlichen Dank an die beiden! Vielen Dank auch an Estelle die mich im Dom Jao Golf Resort direkt betreut hat und die Tauchgänge Organisiert hat für mich. Für jeden der gerne Taucht und an der Algarve ist kann ich diese Tauchschule ohne schlechtes Gewissen empfehlen. Daumen hoch und weiter so!!! Grüße René

Excelente centro de buceo de los mejores que he estado en mi vida muy profesional, material de calidad y bastante nuevo, neopreno de 7 milímetros semisecos suficientes para aguantar las frias aguas del océano. Solo te tienes que preocupar de disfrutar ellos encargan de portarte todo el material en todo momento, lavarlo después, etc. Las instalaciones son geniales muy nuevas. Gran experiencia

Perfecte duikschool. Professionele apparatuur en medewerkers. Voorzien van lockers, douche, handdoeken. Alles is geregeld. Netjes, 85 euro voor twee wrakduiken (Inc nitrox) en met lunch erbij.

Buen trato, con unas instalaciones espectaculares, y con muy buenos profesionales. Te llevan los equipos al agua y de vuelta al centro, encargándose de endulzar los equipos. Son muy recomendables, un lugar donde repetir.

De los mejores centros de buceo que he visto. Atención excepcional y muy buen equipo. El guía de la embarcación un trato inmejorable, muy atento y servicial. Muy recomendable, para volver sin duda.

The Subnauta team is nice. But the dives were horrible. You can't see 2 meters ahead! We dove to 2 different ship wrecks. You can only see what close enough to touch so we couldn't see the ships at all. You have to keep up with the guild because the viability is so horrible so you barely look around. Especially if there are currents. So we did not enjoy the dives at all. It's like diving in milk. I wouldn't recommend diving in this area at all. It's a waste of time and money. On the plus side the Subnauta has a nice facility and good quality equipment that is suitable for the cold water of the Atlantic.

Excellent, diese Tauchbasis und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Ich habe hier recht anspruchsvolle Tauchgänge an Schiffen der portugiesischen Marine, z. B. einer Fregatte, einer Korvette und eines Schiffes für die hydrografischen Messungen machen können. Die Schiffe liegen in etwa 30 bis 35 Metern Tiefe, mal auf geradem Kiel und mal nicht so aufrecht. Der Atlantik war im April recht unruhig und durch die Algenblüte war die Sichtweite ziemlich eingeschränkt, die Lampen wurden schon beim Abstieg an der Ankerleine gebraucht um sich nicht zu verlieren. Es wurde deshalb nur in kleinen Gruppen von 2 bis 3 Tauchern inklusive Guide getaucht. Alles wurde sehr gut und umsichtig durchgeführt. Die Wracks wurden durch sämtliche zugänglichen Räume und Gänge betaucht, alles auf hohem Niveau. Die Guides von Subnauta sind allesamt erstklassige Taucher und es ist wirklich sicher mit ihnen unterwasser zu sein. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Desde el primer día que llegamos a contratar las inmersiónes, el trato excelente y desde ese momento trato inmejorable,100% recomendado, como el instructor y el chico de la embarcación atento en todo momento,con estos 2 chicos tuve más trato pero en general desde que entramos hasta que salimos todo el personal maravillosos te ayudan con los equipos, las duchas tienen toallas,nosotros llevamos nuestros equipos y nos los desalaron ellos muy atentos.Lo dicho 100% recomendados.

One of the better dive shops I have been in. Staff was great, helpful and very excited their wreck locations. The locker room had HOT WATER for showers and lockers that locked. Briefings (went on two wreck dives) were very detailed and done in the shop by the dive master with AV backup.

One of the best divecenters I've been to. Very fast and polite reservation via mail. The welcoming was very good, all went as agreed and planned! The divecenter is very clean, lots of space, free big lockers, big new dressing area with toilets and brand new showers with free shampoo and towels. All equipment is delivered on the boat before you even arrive in the port, so no hassle with heavy gear and weights, super! Made 2 very nice wreck dives in the Ocean Revival Park (protected are where no fishing is allowed). Got free lunch, water and coffee or tea on board, very helpful crew. It was all relax, no stress, only fun Would definitely come here again!

Plongée en demi journée 2 tanks matériel fourni de qualité, bateaux au top, vestiaire avec clé, douches individuelle avec savon et serviette fourni. Dived the frigate and the corvette with Renato and his team from Subnauta mid May - the water was chilly, but a great experience. The club is about as smart as they get - fully equipped for nitrox, sidemount, recyclers, the works and using aqualung 7mm semi-drys for us tourists. We arrived in the morning and they'd already prepared BCD, cylinders and regs. Totally professional and great fun. Just wish I'd taken a dry suit or gone in the summer!

Estuve la semana pasada pasando unos días en Portimão y me pasé por el centro de buceo para hacer una inmersión a los pecios, no tenían salida programada pero me buscaron salida y me llamaron por teléfono para confirmar. Hicimos 2 inmersiones en 2 pecios distintos y muy buenas, el agua está a 15º , visibilidad suficiente para poder disfrutar en en cada pecio. En el trayecto vimos delfines . El trato de Rui y de João inmejorable (gracias por hacerme disfrutar). Los equipos son de 1ª, traje semiseco, ordenador, linterna ... Centro de buceo muy recomendable !!!

Great service, very nice people and well organized. Subnauta has a shop with diving equipment and organizes dive tours and dive courses. You can rent all equipment you need there. The dives are well coordinated, and they transfer all the equipment on board of the boat. Between dives they serve a small lunch and water. After the dive you can shower at the premises with fresh towels provided. Perfect diving centre!

Excelente centro de Buceo. Su política principal es que el cliente va a disfrutar no a trabajar. Muy profesionales, en ningún momento cargas con los equipos. Material en continua renovación y con gran surtido de tallas. Instalaciones increíbles (toallas incluidas para la ducha). Las inmersiones a los 4 pecios del Ocean Revival son increíbles. Es necesaria la titulación de buceo y un nivel mínimo para entrar en los barcos.

Expérience nickel, personnel multilingue matériel de qualité en bonne état. Locaux parfait, première fois que je vois des vestiaires et des douches dans un club de plongée. Service agréable, ils nous prépare le matériel, on a eu un petit pique-nique agréable entre 2 très belles plongées au milieu des récifs. Les bateaux ne sont pas blindés et les palanquée sont petites

El mejor centro de buceo que he tenido el gusto de visitar, personal excepcional, embarcaciones de lujo, equipos cuidados y de calidad total. Si el agua hubiera sido menos fria y hubiera habido algo mas de visibilidad hubiera sido la guinda, pero de eso poca culpa tiene el centro, 5 estrellas bien merecidas :)

Increible escuela de buceo. Trato excelente, material impecable, te lo llevan ellos y te lo montan, un picnic entre inmersiones, te dejan una toalla para ducharte... Etc. Los pecios merecen la pena, lastima que no haya normalmente una mejor visibilidad, solo 4/5 metros
