Melissa M: If you are wishing to teach English abroad, I would not recommend using this agency. I was teaching in Spain from October 2019 to May 2020 and was contracted through the ErasmusInSchool platform. At the beginning of the year I had to give a €400 deposit that I would get back when I completed the school year. As you all know, the coronavirus struck in March and schools were closed and have still not been re-opened. I wanted to go home but naturally I was worried about the deposit so I awaited instructions from either ErasmusInSchool (who never contacted me at all during the pandemic! My housemates who were contracted by the British council were contacted immediately and told to go home) or my school. My school started advising me to go home so I asked about the deposit and was told that they would speak to ErasmusInSchool about it. Then we found out that I would not be able to get the deposit back unless I stayed contracted until the end of May as originally planned. Personally, I found this absolutely disgusting and shameful. We were in a PANDEMIC, my school were giving me their blessing to go, they no longer were able to pay me my full wages, yet ErasmusInSchool didn’t want to give me MY deposit? I fulfilled all of my duties with the school, I didn’t do anything wrong. The school no longer had the money to pay me my full wages anymore so they were halved. I was living on €250 a month. My rent was €135 a month (not including bills). ErasmusInSchool put me in a horrible position financially and mentally. They should have had the decency to just give me MY money back in considering the extraordinary circumstances. So through this review I would simply like to warn potential language assistants about the establishment. In my opinion, ErasmusInSchool looks out for the interest of the schools, not the language assistants. The fact that I had to give a “deposit” at the beginning should have been a warning sign. In what other job is that normal? With that being said, I would like to mention that my school is not to blame here at all. They were very helpful and supportive. I feel so let down by this agency. Being stuck in a foreign country with such little money, unable to get back to my home country was the worst and most difficult time of my life. I view the fact that they couldn’t give me my money back before the end of May (and didn’t contact me at all during the whole pandemic) utterly shambolic. I am writing this because I really don’t want this to happen anyone else. Be very wary of looking for work abroad through this agency. I wouldn’t not recommend them at all. 0/5.

Fui recebido à porta por uma jovem muito prestável. Que me dirigiu para o que eu precisava e sim precisava de ajuda, então ela mandou alguém vir e ele me ajudou. A loja estava muito consciente do amor19. A loja estava muito limpa, não muito lotada, a empresa mostrou o quanto estava preocupada não só com os seus clientes, mas com os seus funcionários. Minha Família é nova na região e ainda estamos nos aclimatando à cultura e ao clima. A nossa filosofia é Quando em Roma, fazer como os Yumans! (É essa a citação? Não sei, não sou bom em matemática.) Então, estamos mais do que entusiasmados para sair de casa regularmente e fazer coisas culturais únicas para os Yumans - e também para ir ao swapmeet.Nós despertamos brilhante e cedo na manhã do sábado passado. Tomamos quantidades copiosas de café, que esperávamos que fosse apropriado para o nosso despertar das 8 da manhã. Nós usamos nossos bonés e chapéus de cowboy, desligamos o a/c quando saímos de nossa residência temporária no Motel 6.Nós corremos uns aos outros para o carro onde nós não fizemos nossas respectivas capas e ligamos o carro a/c.Nós tomamos a vez na Big Curve (por que eles chamam isso?!) e em pouco tempo chegamos no Yuma Swap Meet.Bonnets e chapéus de cowboys ligados, a/c desligados - nós fomos para os portões depois de encontrar um lugar de estacionamento decente. Ouvimos falar muito sobre o lugar onde os Yumans se encontram para trocar e não ficamos desapontados. Quer você seja um local ou fora da cidade temporariamente dentro da cidade e você tem um desejo de se encontrar e trocar, este é o lugar para você. Mas eu não sei o que você está procurando, então eu não sei. Tente os Super Dogs! Eles provavelmente são super duper, mas a banca estava fechada quando fomos, então eu não sei.
