So many local airport workers, including plenty of policemen did take their lunch there or a coffee while I was there, this speaks for itself. If you happen to be there during lunch hours - they have a "menu do dia" which i had. There are two mains to choose from, on that day it was Bacalhau or pork loin plus sides, you get a soup of the day, a soft drink or a beer, and a coffee/espresso afterwards. And all that for 8.95€ ! Now tell me at which airport in Western Europe you can get such thing for such a price! Some staff appear a tad lame but hey, does it really matter? Be careful when carrying your tray as it is very "slippery", my beer was performing some sort of figure skating on the tray and I almost dropped it. Another person indeed dropped his Coke. Take your lunch here, then you can heartily laugh at the overpriced rubbish that Ryanair and the likes try to sell you on board later
