Was very good had a guy doing elvis he was absolutely brilliant he also made an appearance at my wedding in sao Rafael Atletico on Saturday he is a must if you like elvis. A+++

Steak was 90% grizzle, i mean all over and when I complained the elderly manager showed me a picture on the brochure of what his interpretation of what I go which was complete nonsense. Don't go there, there are plenty of better places about!

Manager served me a drink ,wine and lemonade €3.50 , next one 4.50 ? Complained but said he should not have charged that , talking to like a child., overcome and adapted and left otherwise would of not knowing what I would of done?

Um excelente bar situado na famosa Rua da Oura. Aqui a faixa etária é um pouco diferente da restante zona envolvente. Tributos a Queen e Elvis são um exemplo das actuações possíveis de contemplar a partir das 22h. Vale a visita... :-)

This is an excellent Mexican restaurant with a wide variety of food for all tastes. Served by friendly English speaking staff, hot and tasty. The drinks prices are above the norm for this area but the food makes up for that. €200 for a party of seven, 3 courses each, you decide. Recommended.

Just had one of the worst dining experiences of my life. Overpriced and underwhelming. My Wife was over half way through a fillet steak and chips with side garnish when a maggot crawled out of garnish onto plate ....... when I brought it to their attention they apologized and brought her a whole new meal.... would you eat it? Don’t think so . We looked for bill as we were dining with four kids also and had seen enough. Kids wouldn’t eat any more and we wanted to leave. Had to pay full amount as bringing my wife another meal justified the in the meal. Kip stay away.....

Went for a special 70th birthday party. 19 people in group ! Service was very poor, meals not arriving at same time, steaks were lukewarm. Stone cooked meals were served with the meat first then a 10 minute wait for the stone to arrive ! Bottles of water were placed on the table and we were charged 2€ for each bottle ! Asked for the bill and had a 20 minute wait for it ! All in all a very bad advert for the restaurant. Will not be recommending this restaurant to anybody !

Slow service, food was deliverd after one and a half our. And it was cold. The food wasn't served at the same time. The taste was okay, but the rest was very bad

Busy place with a slow service and bad delivery. Dinner server very cold and it wasn't served at the same time. After a cold rib-eye they warmed it but it wasn't rare or medium after it.

Horrible. La carne no estaba buena, estaba llena de grasa dura. Caían arañas del techo. Tardaron años en atendernos y no nos querían devolver el cambio, después de insultarnos nos trajeron 3€ de cambio (cuando en verdad eran 15), con una segunda reclamación y gritos por parte de la camarera nos trajeron por fin los 15. Por mí les daba 0 estrellas

Situated at the top f the strip, Ancora offers great service, great beers and superb entertainment to suit all tastes. Highly recommend

A nice place, quite lively. A good DJ, and shows are worth seeing. Elvis show in particular is very good. Drink prices are good. Arrive earlyish to get a seat.

My friend was charged 8e for Jack Daniels while all cocktails were 5e or pint 1.8! Bottle of JD 24e in the shop beside. This put me off the place.

Did not like this bar as much as others we visited......showed all the football, but more expensive than others doing and providing the same......so walk a little further down the road and your money will buy more

The ancora is a great pub .. live entertainment every night , friendly staff and you won’t get ripped off with fake drinks ...( believe me it happens in albufeira ) I recommend the ancora 100% ...

Me and my girlfriend ate here recently, I ordered chicken wings to start and my girlfriend ‘attempted’ to order vegetarian skewers but was told they are “no good”... why do you serve it then? I received 4 frozen chicken wings on a plate for €7.90. Absolutely unacceptable. I also order the T-bone Steak for main. I asked the size and was told 400 grams. I’d say the steak i was served would have to push 250 grams. It was over done when i asked for medium, And cost €23. Would not recommend eating here. Absolute scam!!

SO...where do I begin? first of all the restaurant seemed cool. However do not be fooled and this is not even over exaggeration. As soon as we entered we decided to sit upstairs. Everything seemed reasonable at the beginning although expensive. As we continued to eat the waiter kept coming to the table waiting for us to simply finish the food. Towards the end two male waiters came and stood right in front of us and were clearly making bad comments about us(probably wanting us to quickly finish) we decided to ignore rudeness. He then proceeded to give us the bill even though we still had one plate of food left. (basically intimidating us to leave) Not to mention the nachos were the worst ive ever had...dried up cheese and a super small portion of guacamole..rank is all I will say...save your money for some place better.

Where do I begin. Well, looking forward to a nice steak all day and my group of friends decide this would be a good place to go, first wrong choice of the evening. Ordered the local beer, which would have honestly tasted better had it been preconsumed by someone else and served into a glass to me. Then we decided to order the nicest sounding steak on the menu "top deck" a fillet steak wrapped in bacon and garlic with a sauce of your choice. We then finally get steaks that don't look anything like their description nor does the waiter care that we all ordered our steaks at differently, we clarified this is not what we ordered, so the plates were sent back and came back with a burnt piece of ham slapped atop of it. The sauce also refused to move out of the gravy boat. Medium rare? The cow might as well still have been consuming the lettuce on the plate itself. Well done? Charcoal briquette may have been less burnt. And last but not least I've never seen steak being served with a lemon and lime. We tried to complain and were offered more toilet beer. Highly not recommended.

Was expecting a really nice meal but what we got was anything but...started with the drinks..the local beer was poured from the toilet..the 4 of us at the table ordered the Fillet Steak wrapped in bacon,was looking forward to it since we were starving..4 plates of food came out but not 1 of them were right...they apologized to us and brought out the right ones..(wrapped in bacon) no,it had a piece of burnt fat placed on top,shocking...as for the steak itself,definitely wasn’t Fillet...wouldn’t even give it to your dog..all they were short of doing was opening the kitchen door and kicking them out to us...we complained but just got offered more piss..and it top it off it was 23euro each for the steak..worst meal of our lives..DONT GO HERE

Enganação total. A foto do café da manhã na verdade é um rosto grande segundo eles que cobram mais caro do que a rua toda. Sendo que a rua toda o prato padrão já é o grande deles. Fui questionar a questão da foto e o preço e ele disse bem grosseiramente que é apenas uma foto. ( Que inclusive tem ingredientes na foto que não existem no prato. E além de tudo isso é o MAIS CARO DA RUA. Não recomendo.

The food came out in a orderly fashion, keeping in mind there were 6 of us. I had the burger and the missus had a prawn kebab. I had food envy !

This was the most expensive resturant of our stay in albufiera and the worst. Would not recommend. Had to send my meal back twice to be cooked correctly. Not good at all and also you need to pay extra for sauces .

Got seated at a table upstairs, ordered a drink, asked the server to describe the ingredients in a dish because allergens were not listed, she seemed unsure and then said if you're not going to order food you have to sit downstairs. I started to stand up and head that way then she said no it's ok if you don't stay too long, because this area is reserved for other customers (literally about 5% full). Then 5 minutes later she came back and said your drinks are downstairs. What? So we walked downstairs and were yelled at for occupying a table at a basically entirely empty restaurant for 5 minutes. Rudest service ever I will never come back.

Visited on 24th may 2017 went for an evening meal . Staff were friendly.Got steak which was cold.was asked what sauce I wanted with it .waiter never mentioned there was an additional charge for pepper sauce etc. food was basic and over priced.will not be back
