Venimos todos los años, llevamos 4 seguidos. Nos gusta este establecimiento que está muy bien situado para nuestros desplazamientos en la plaza, cómo alrededores Buen servicio de recepción,cómo en habitaciones.Nada que objetar.Bien limpieza,etc,etc,etc

In a good location for the strip, room was nice and clean with adequate bathroom and a nice balcony, the room had air conditioning which as it was February we used to heat the room of an evening.

We booked Ourabay only one week before we visited after we cancelled another booked hotel due to poor customer service - and we are glad we did - oura Bay was perfect !!!From our initial enquiry to departure absolutely seamless !!!We asked what rooms were best for Sunsets - we go the best available !!The rooms were spotless - staff were amazing - pool was heaven - pool bar was reasonably priced - hotel bar was quiet but also reasonably pricedLocation - 5 mins walk to The Strip - 15 mins walk to the Old Town (or only Euros 5 in a taxi)We had toom 360 - perfect ! - great evening sun - large double bed - basic kitchen - but freezer and ice cold beers when required from the large supermarket 2 mins across the road !!Special thanks to Igor - you made this the perfect holiday - many thanks

The customer service is extremely good. The only downside is that there is a very steep hill which can cause problems for some seniors.

Would return here very local to supermarket shops and strip only a 10 min walk very good location beach only 15 min walk. The one thing I would say is you can use the facilities in the hotel vitally a joining ourabay which would have been helpful if staff had told us this since the weather was not good enough to use outside pool, other hotel has a beautiful indoor spa free to use. Great hotel you have all you need for self catering holiday.

The floor was filthy. The room was extremely cold. It had a heater but it did not work very well. The bed was cold and damp. I brought my own bedding with me and used that as the bed itself was so damp. Several things in the place needed to be repaired. Not sure why people gave this place such great reviews.

We stayed in October. This hotel was absolutely worth the price I paid. It is situated between the old town and the new town, and is only across the road from fat cats. The rooms were amazing and came with all of the facilities we needed for the week. There were two big shops a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The pool area was fabulous and the bar had lovely cocktails. I would definitely return again around the same time next year!

Non mi è piaciuto affatto. dicono 4 stelle ma forse 3 sono già troppe. abbiamo pagato 600 euro per 5 persone x 3 notti, mancava 1 letto e volevano venderci il divano come quinto letto (attenzione, non divano letto ma il divano vero e proprio) . alla fine hanno aggiunto un lettino, ma inizialmente volevano anche 16 euro al giorno in più. fortunatamente hanno capito la situazione e non ce lo hanno fatto pagare. il servizio è scarso, potrebbero fare meglio

Fuimos allí por el club de vacaciones de RCI de intercambio de semanas de tiempo compartido. Esta bien en general sin llegar a mas. Para nosotros con esta modalidad de intercambio bien. Si lo pagas a otro precio. Quizá haya mejores opciones. Bien situado en la zona guiri de la Albufeira con supermercados y toda clase de restaurantes e incluso centro comercial. Al centro hay que ir con transporte. Hay aparcamiento en el hotel gratis pero siempre lleno. Se aparca en los alrededores sin problemas. El ambiente es de familias algo de agradecer para dormir tranquilo. En otros hoteles demasiado inglés pasado de vueltas.

Gli appartamenti non sono molto curati anzi sporchi. Avevamo prenotato una stanza per 5 ci ritroviamo con soli 4 letti e un divano (sporco e poco igienico). Abbiamo discusso con la struttura per avere un letto in più. Non ci tornerò.

Limpieza de las habitaciones escasa y servicio pobre. No te cambian ni las sábanas, ni las toallas en toda una semana, aunque te permiten el lujo de sobrevivir con 2 rollos de papel higiénico para 7 días.
En recepción pedimos información sobre lugares de interés (ya que la conexión del WiFi brilla por su ausencia) y más bien nos ayudaron a perdernos.Lo único bueno es la piscina, si te levantas muy temprano, con suerte puedes conseguir una tumbona, aprovecha porque cierra a las 8 de la tarde.
Además tienen un guardia de seguridad muy borde que no compensa la buena ubicación del supermercado, el cual tienes al lado para por ejemplo, comprar papel higiénico (por si te hace falta). Aunque no te montes un banquete porque en la nevera no hay espacio para más de 2 botellas de agua marrón, que es la que te sale del fregadero y en la ducha.
Aún así después de todo, siempre te quedará descansar en tu maravillosa cama plegable, pero acuérdate de que tienes todo a mano porque ocupa toda la habitación.
No recomendable. No repetiré, las cucarachas de la terraza tampoco.

Just returned from Portugal after spending four days at the Ourabay Hotel in the Algarve. And what a surprise it was, on arrival at hotel me and my wife we were made very welcome by the a very pleasant gentleman. Overall our time spent in Portugal was wonderful looking forward to going in the near future.

Hotel very dirty even after cleaning been done.fridge had dried blood on ice tray in the fridge when i showed the reception there words were " ok : nothing else shower when I put it on it would bonce back around. I took phots of the how dirty things were after they were supposed to have cleaned.

Hotel localizado no cemtro de Albufeira, tem uma piscina razoável, mas para ir á praia fica um puco longe.instalaçoes muito limpas, apartamentos grandes com varandas para o exterior, fica só a faltar um formo pois apenas têm micro-ondas e fogão.Supermercado, cafés e restaurantes muito perto, também têm estacionamento privado.Os empregados muito atenciosos e simpáticos.

Do un 2 stelle per la struttura, vecchia.. Tubazioni degli scarichi, arredamento, non é insonorizzato come descritto, si sente tutto. Pulizia inadeguata, le addette fanno "finta" di pulire(tolgono la pattumiera, fanno il letto male, puliscono in terra girando attorno al mobilio) in bagno non fanno i sanitari. Imbottitura del divano da lavare.

Nós temos ficado em um apartamento estes dias, na área de estacionamento nós deveríamos deixar cair uma bolsa preta que é uma bolsa de higiene, é muito importante os cremes que carrega dentro desde que muitos são de meu filho e eu tenho que levar um problema tem na pele, se alguém encontrá-los por favor deixe-os em repceution, você me ajudaria muito por favor

It was a horrible experience with Ourabay Appartments. Me and my friends booked a room in this hotel to relax and enjoy albufeira during 7 days. However, everything was soon ruined: at the very second evening, the guard of the hotel came to our room to tell us that the music had to be less loud. We turned the volume down and within 2 minutes the guard was back in our room. He was furious, he broke the induction plate, slapped a friend of me and afterwards slapped me 2 times in my face without any reason. I had bruises and blood on my face because of this guard. We called the police but the guy denied everything to the police and we were not taken seriously at all. I certainly understand a warning but this « staff » ruined our holiday by this aggressive behavior. We also got threatened that we had to surrender the deposit and that we would be evicted because we called the police. We have not received any apologies until this day. I strongly discourage this hotel if you value safety and respectful treatment.

Excelente local para passar férias. Agradável piscina, acesso a piscina interior, ginásio, banho turco, sauna e transporte gratuito para a praia. O apartamento está equipado com tudo o que é necessário para uma agradável estadia. A localização é muito central, perto da zona da Oura, em frente ao supermercado e com serviços em redor.

Good location for the Strip and not too far from Old Town - a nice 20 minute walk. Great supermarket across a busy roundabout. However we had a duplex apartment and it advertised a double sofa bed downstairs and three single beds upstairs. There were only 2 single beds. When I spoke to reception they said it was a room for 4. But on Expedia printout I had it clearly said 3 single beds upstairs. The hotel said it was Expedia’s fault. They did put a small camp bed in for us which was fine as I am short but it wouldn’t suit a bigger person. We did travel as 4 adults but if you pulled the bed out from the sofa it took up the whole floor. There were 2 bathrooms which wasn’t advertised so that was good although the upstairs shower was poor so we all used just the one anyway. Lovely reception area though very quiet. Pool area nice. Doesn’t merit 4* though.

Hotel clean & comfortable....good little supermarket across the road for food /papers/lotto etc..Turn right at entrance & follow the road..leads you straight to the Strip with lots of bars/clubs /shops & karaoke bars.

Fab location. Room comfortable and has excellent facilities for a break of 7/10 days.The fridge/food prep facilities are limited but given the abundance of restaurants nearby & the close location of a large supermarket , not a major problem. This is our 2nd visit to Ourabay and fully intend to return next year.

the apartment was clean however, the room is not designed to hold more than three guests comfortably but states 5 adults. There is a bar service until midnight but no bar staff you have to rely on reception staff late evening.On the upside the outdoor pool was spacious and clean. The apartment is well situated for either access to the old town or the strip.There is an amazing bakery 100 yards from hotel all produce was fresh and delicious.We had a lovely few days away but dont think I would go back.

Booked with Expedia told last room available had 6 beds only needed 3 (wanted beds not sofa beds), but on arrival given room 254 with 2 single beds and sofa bed (sofa bed makes 2 singles not a double) Spoke to Hotel Staff who showed me booking and could see what we had booked but said it was down as a request (Expedia fault??) and would not change it not even to 3 beds, not happy but did not let it spoil our holiday. Anything else we asked the staff for they provided, they were excellent came to clean regularly if we asked for anything, extra towels etc it was provided quickly and with a smile.Nice outside Swimming pool - not used. Inside Swimming Pool at hotel next door - used lovely.5-10 minute walk to the Strip / supermarket close by12-15 minute walk to the beach (steep hill)

Informação consistia em balcão. Perguntei se havia alguém disponível para me mostrar o espaço e foi tudo indicado pela teoria, a recepção é aqui o bar ali o SPA é no hotel ao lado.. Saindo da garagem, estando a chover escorreguei por 2x a subir para a entrada do hotel.. Não tive a melhor impressão deste hotel.

Our trip was in February. The temperature during the day was around 19degr. The temperature in our room at night was freezing. There was no heating or warm water for a shower or shave in the morning. I complained to the manager. Nothing was done about the heating. The water was sorted after 2 days. There was no health & safety. My wife slipped in the bath/shower and hit her head on the corner of the marble sink. She needed medical attention but the manager did absolutely nothing except give me a band aid strip & a pair of scissors which she said I needed to return straight away. She didnt record the accident. When we were leaving my wifes eye was badly swollen and blackened with 2 cuts to her temple. The new manager was shocked and said they hadnt been informed. We are considering legal action.

Старенькие номера, но есть все необходимое. Постель чистая, в номере все опрятно и аккуратно. Спится просто замечательно. Масла, соли и специй нет, везите свои. Подземная бесплатная парковка, рядом хороший супермаркет

Studio smaller than normally expected but bed comfortable. As a sole occupant the room was adequate. Clean towels and apartment cleaned every day. Being November the bar was not mannedbut reception staff would serve if requested

The location was great. Close to supermarket and great car rental spot. However as I went with family the albufeira strip wasnt very appropriate for them so there wasnt much to do for the evening. We generally took a cab to old town which cost around 4 euros to get there and spent most of our evenings there. The strip can be really busy and lots of load music and alcohol! The hotel room itself was ok in terms of it being clean but the sofa bed was terrible it was a single sofa bed with no pillow so had to borrow a friends. The showers were awful, the water wasnt being drained from the bath tub and was flooding while showering. We called several times to get it fixed and the receptionist was very rude. We also had no hot water for 4 days in a row. We went to reception many times and they always said they will fix it and they didnt. However one of the receiptionsts called Natalja was probably the best receiptionst Ive ever Met. She was always out to help and go the extra mile. (Unlike her colleagues). The shower head kept falling off whilst showering and still nothing was done about it. The pool is shared with a close by hotel and it becomes ridiculous busy. Would I stay here again? No, there are much better hotel close by for a slightly higher price but well worth it.

Es un lugar que se encuentra cerca de un supermercado no muy caro, a 5 minutos de la calle de la fiesta y a 15-20 minutos andando de la playa de Oura. Una vez que sales del apartamento a 1 mn hay un ultramarino con muchas cosas y socorrido, hay como 3 bares baratos una cafetería. El apartamento para 6 personas es bastante grande. Bastante bien amueblado comparando calidad precio. El único inconveniente es la cocina. Quizás un poco pequeña, la nevera pequeña y algo mal equipada pero para una semana no está nada mal. Las camas y el sofá cama muy cómodos y grandes. El baño bastante bien. Dos terrazas espaciosas. Servicio de limpieza todos los días.
Las personas que se encuentran en la recepción están algo desorientadas e intentan alargar las cosas pero en sí son majos. La piscina y las amacas muy bien y en bar de la piscina bien pero algo caro.

Hemos pasado la semana santa en este hotel. Ha cumplido nuestras espectativas... bien situado, con un supermercado en frente y con todo bastante cerca. Lo mas dificil quizás sea poder usar el parking, pero hay donde aparcar por los alrededores del hotel. La cocina está equipada con lo justo para una estancia de vacaciones, y quizás echamos en falta una cafetera.

Was the very beginning of the season so first few days quiet and renovations being carried out. Disappointed pool bar shut as had to go elsewhere for drinks etc. upon arrival we could have or room straight away at1pm and was changed to a room that had sunshine (literally) all afternoon until sunset on our balcony which was great if not a little noisy due to the roundabout. The rooms were tired but the bar area and lobby were a lot better. To be fair though a lot of Albufeira looked tired (lots of sights spoiled by mindless graffiti tagging- a real shame) and for the price we could not fault it, we also were offered late checkout as our flight wasnt until 6:40pm and this was at no charge. Every member of Staff on reception were incredibly friendly and helpful, a real credit to the hotel. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was quiet at the hotel until the last night and day we were there and to be honest we liked it like that. Supermarket straight across the street for all supplies and 5-10mins walk to the strip. 20 -25 mins walk to centre of albufeira and in the lovey weather we had this was no chore. Thanks for a great stay :-)

Just home from spending a few very enjoyable days at ''Ourabay Hotel Apartments Albuferia.
This Establishment is Excellent All Round!!!
Very Clean, Tidy, Modern, Well Kept, and The Two Men who own it, couldnt have been more inviting, helpful or attentive.
Pool & Outside area so clean & tidy also, and still so well kept, even now at the End of Dec.
Will certainly book and go back to stay again!!!!!!!

Very good hotel and excellent staff, who are very helpful at anytime. Big supermarket at the other side of the street. Superb swimming pool with sun beds. Bars (The Strip) and restaurants on walking distance. Great value for money.

Bin mit 4 freunden für 7 tage nach albufeira, hatten keine großen ansprüche an das hotel und worden bei der ankunft sehr positiv überrascht. das hotel wurde erst vor paar wochen komplett renoviert. wir hatten ein appartment zimmer mit einen großen wohnzimmer und 3 schlafmöglichkeiten. vom wohnzimmer weg ging eine treppe nach oben mit noch einen schlafzimmer für 2 personen mit bad. die zimmer waren anfangs sehr sauber und die ganze einrichtung war neu. die badezimmer waren auch in einen guten zustand, einzih zu bemängeln war der wasserdruck beim duschen. im wohnzimmer gab es noch eine kleine küchenzeile mit ceranfeld, spülbecken, kühlschrank, mirkrowelle, toaster und wasserkocher. um sich schnell was zuzubereiten perfekt, für etwas aufwenidgere gerichte bisschen zu wenig da kaumm küchengeschirr vorhanden.der zimmerservice war vorhanden aber es wurde nur das notwendigste getan, bettwäsche wurde vielleicht 1 mal in den 7 tage gewechselt. handtücher täglich. der boden wurde teilweise auch nicht gewischt und war mit der zeit sehr sandig.die poolanlage ist nicht zu empfehlen. sie ist nicht besonders schön und das wasser ist eisig aber wer will auch bei den tollen stränden an der algarve am pool abhängen? etwas abseits von albufeira gibt es die schönsten strände.für leute die feiern wollen ist das hotel optimal, der montechoro strip ist nur wenige minuten entfernt. ist sicher nicht jedermans sache, viele angetrunkene britsche teenies.. die altstadt ist da mehr zu empfehle
