Análise: Chosen this place for it's calm, mediation and retreat potencial, nature involvement, and because it's central for Baixo Tâmega regions (Amarante, Baião, Celorico de Basto and Marco de Canavezes). Also 1 hour car drive from Oporto, and near to Guimarães. Amazing quietness, and feeling of warmth. Great for walks (PR.1 trail that connects to Arnóia's Castle), coffee nearby, and Tâmega River activities. For winetasters also, with Vinho Verde wines. They give awesome tips for several daytours. Análise: A very late review indeed - we stayed at Casa de Chouselas in September 2019 when we were visiting for a wedding. Olivia is a fantastic hostess and nothing is too much trouble. The location does not have much traffic so it’s very peaceful and relaxing in the garden and taking a dip in the pool.
