We enquired the bike rental shops along the Douro River, and almost of all of them had rented out their bikes out that afternoon. Furthermore, the rental rates are much higher along the Douro River. Análise: Extremely friendly staff, high quality bikes and amazing prices. I rented a beautiful, new, German cruiser bike for the day and it was the most comfortable bike I have ever rode. They have measures in place during the covid-19 pandemic - wearing masks, gloves, etc. and disinfecting the entire bike (seat and handles) prior to use.
