Die Räder waren sehr gepflegt und liefen ohne Probleme. Zusätzlich hatten wir 10 Tage tolles Wetter. Die Gegend ist zum Rennrad fahren ideal, sowohl flach als auch bergig ist möglich. Christian Scheinhardt: Every house has a good soul, as they say. I found even several of them here, all in one and the same place. People who open their hearts to you the moment they meet you. The "Three Marias" in Lagos is filled with an atmosphere of warm cordiality. Here they not only care for the comfort of their guests, they make them family. Everything is simply and comfortably furnished. Again and again, lovingly arranged details show up: a few shells on the little table in the room; two matching flat stones on the safe; a glass of sea sand on the sink in the bathroom. The absolute highlight is the breakfast terrace. The view over the city on one side and down to parts of the old city wall on the other is breathtaking. Gulls laugh through the morning as their shadows glide across the floor and tables. From a terrace below, two cats are watching you curiously. The tables are perfectly laid, the extensive range of food awaits you on a buffet directly under the kitchen window. Here not only the body is strengthened for the coming holiday day, but also heart and soul get nourished. The hosts lovingly inquire about the previous day, the current well-being and plans for the next hours. Maria, Joao and Manuela are always at hand with tips and tricks to make the Lagos/Algarve experience even more intense for the guests. The breakfast offer consists of different kinds of bread, yoghurt, honey, chocolate cream, jams, sausages, cheese, fruit, olives, tomatoes, coffee, juices, homemade lemonade ... You should not refuse the offer of freshly prepared eggs. Scrambled and fried eggs are simple culinary delicacies. And if there's no bacon, the host is about to apologise with a cheese filled omelette. On a Sunday it happens that a fresh pancake is casually placed on the table. My favourite: add fresh fruit, drizzle honey over it and sprinkle everything with cinnamon. I had my birthday during my stay. Of course this did not go unnoticed. And then they came out on the terrace with a cake on which the candle was burning for the coming year and they sang "Happy Birthday!" to me. Thank you again, dears! Besides, breakfast lives from communication. The atmosphere of kindness seems to attract such souls. And already one is in conversation and exchange with ladies from France, an Australian lady on a European tour, with boys from Berlin and with a girl from Denmark. The "3 Marias" in Lagos is for me without doubt an answer to questions that had not even occurred to me before: In what way do I want to be treated on holiday? Exactly: In the same way I had the pleasure to experience it here! I would come back with pleasure again, dear hosts of the "3 Marias".

Não perca seu tempo indo a este Home Depot para a instalação do piso! Fui buscar um preço para o piso de tábuas de vinil há algumas semanas atrás, não estava lá ninguém para me ajudar e o pessoal do piso estava parado sem fazer nada! Quando me aproximei de uma jovem no departamento de pavimentos, senti que estava a incomodá-la, ela prestou pouca atenção a mim e às minhas perguntas e quando marcamos a data para que eles saíssem e medissem a instalação, eles saíram e nada aconteceu, sentei-me e esperei! Tive de lhes ligar de volta e, de repente, algumas centenas de dólares de instalação acabaram por ser 1.000 dólares! Eles tentaram me vender todas essas coisas que eu não precisava e estavam quase me forçando a comprá-las como um underlayment que eles disseram que era necessário para este piso. Tenho novidades para vocês, é um piso de tábuas de vinil. Já se passaram quase 3 semanas e ainda não ouvi nada do Home Depot! NÃO RESÍDUO O SEU TEMPO que eles obviamente não querem o seu negócio ou o meu!
