Sophie Woods: My partner and I ate at Soho Coffee in the departure lounge for breakfast ahead of our return flight to the UK. As there were only a handful of flights departing that day the lounge was virtually empty, and we were served quite quickly. I ordered an Americano with my avocado, and my partner a Coke Zero and some pancakes. But what made this experience so great was not what we ordered, but what some other customers ordered after us. It was an American group, who were all over the place when ordering. They were over-pronouncing words to the staff as if they were deaf when in actual fact quite a few of them had relatively good English. One woman said she wanted an Americano coffee, asking “do you know what that is?” to a man stood below a menu that included such beverage. “Yes, I do. Would you like one?” he said. “Two” she said, holding up two fingers and mouthing it in such a way that was blatantly rude. “Sure thing,” he said. She returned to the table, only after picking up a couple of bottles of ketchup. And a short time later, their ‘Americano’s’ were ready to pickup. Instead of being served in the usual way, as mine was, the man making the drinks (not the same man who took the order, a different one), went overboard with whipped cream and sugar on top. I didn’t notice this at first, but my partner did and said the staff were messing with them. They hadn’t asked for their drink to be topped off like this, but I didn’t think they would do this. But then another person ordered an Americano, they weren’t American, and it was served in the usual way, ie a cup with no whipped cream and sugar sprinkled all over it. It was hilarious. Anyway, our food was great. Our drinks were good. The service we received was excellent. And the entertainment was priceless.

Minha esposa e eu compramos uma máquina de lavar e secar roupa novinha em folha com a garantia de 5 anos! No final de Fevereiro de 2020, em Agosto começámos a ter problemas com a máquina de lavar e secar. Telefonámos ao Dugans e enviámos um técnico para ver, com o problema que estávamos a ter eles levaram-na para a loja e deram-nos um empréstimo para usar. Quando recuperámos a máquina de lavar tinha outro problema e o choque foi substituído num sábado! Bem, isso não resolveu o problema.... foi falar com eles esta manhã e eles ficaram lá na moto e vieram buscar a máquina de lavar e nos trouxeram uma diferente sem perguntas!!!! Se me perguntarem, a Dugans Sales and Service fica ali a trabalhar e a Satisfaction!!!!!! Obrigado por ser local e leal aos seus clientes!!! Você ganhou um cliente para o resto da vida!!

O PIOR DONO DE LOJA DE SEMPRE!!! Comprador Beware. Estive recentemente em Greenville para assistir a uma conferência médica e decidi visitar algumas das lojas de antiguidades locais. Ao entrar no Artifacts, cumprimentei um homem que estava atrás do balcão - sem resposta. Pensei que talvez ele não me tivesse ouvido - então, comecei a procurar. Quando perguntei sobre várias peças, ele foi extremamente pouco amigável e desdenhoso. Ele estava completamente desinteressado em me ajudar em qualquer aspecto e era quase hostil no seu comportamento. Ele me pareceu um do tipo de antiquários que só querem que as pessoas entrem e admirem os objetos lá e realmente não querem vender nada - essencialmente, uma "mentalidade de acumulador". De longe, esta visita a lojas de antiguidades foi a pior que tive em muitos anos. Eu fiquei visivelmente abalado depois de lidar com este homem. Estou a rezar pelo bem do público para que ele não seja o dono e seja um empregado. Se ele é o dono, seus pais criaram uma pessoa pretensiosa, desdenhosa e pouco amistosa.
